"Manik, where are you going tomorrow with aunty?" Nandini asked. "I don't know, it's mom's decision" Manik said as he caressed her hair. "Should I join you tomorrow? I would come without her notice" Nandini asked. "Ye chup chup ka khel, sneak out sneak in khelna kab seekh liya tu ne! No you should not come tomorrow, I will be with mom and it would be almost a threat to me, please aise mat karna" he said concerned. "Kyunki aise acts sirf experts aur professionals karte hai ya unki supervision mein and I'm an expert you're not" Manik joked. "Please mujhe bhi aane do" she requested but Manik didn't budge. They both fell fast asleep. Nandini woke up when her alarm rang.

She got up and dressed herself. She couldn't resist herself from kissing her husband as she saw him sleep peacefully beside her. She then woke him up, "Manik, wake up its 4:30 am, 5 baje chacha uth jayega, isse pehle you go" she said waking him. He was awake but didn't feel like getting up. "Kuch der sone de mujhe" he said sleepy. "Even I don't want you to leave but please understand" she said and Manik got up. He saw his shirt lying on the study table. "Give that shirt, I'll leave" he asked. "No I will keep it as a memory from last night" she said blushing. "Then how I'm I supposed to go out! Shirtless!" he asked. "Ok, now you wear it and go but then return this to me, I will keep it forever" she said. "Very soon, we both will keep it as our memory" he said and kissed her. He got ready and she helped him to leave. She then unlocked chacha's room.

Manik went home and Nyonika was waiting for him. "Mom, you got up so early!" Manik said as he entered. "Tum issi time ghar aa rahe ho na" she said. "Sorry mom, mujhe thoda kaam hai" Manik said. "Kahi aisa na ho ki tum apne patients ko treat karte karte tum khud patient ban jao" Nyonika said and Manik hugged her. "Sorry bol diya na maa" he said. "Very happy birthday beta" she said patting his back. "Tum kuch naya perfume use kar rahe ho kya!" she asked aa she sniffed Nandini's scent from his shirt. Manik remembered Nandini wearing his shirt. A smile crept on his face but he made sure his mom doesn't notice it.

"Ok jaldi se ready ho jao, hum kahi baahar jayenge" Manik said. "No Manik you take rest, waise bhi mujhe kuch time lagega, I have a surprise for you" she said happily. She went off from there. "Tere liye bhi ek surprise hai mom, my wedding news, I hope you don't get anxious when I tell it to you. I love you mom, but Nandini need me at this time, please forgive me" Manik said to himself. He slept as soon as he went to his room. He woke up with Nandini's call. "Good morning wifey!" he said. "Manik, I'm afraid!" she sounded nervous. Manik suddenly woke up from his bed. "What happened, are you Ok?" he asked concerned. "I'm OK but" she hesitated to speak. "Tell me what is it?" he asked. "What if I get pregnant for last night! We really didn't do it intentionally right" she asked innocently. "Mere birthday ka return gift samajke rakh lena, simple" he said. "Don't joke Manik, I'm serious" she said. "I'm not joking Nandini, shaadi ke baad bachche hoga hi na, isme joke kya hai!" he made it obvious. "But we didn't plan for a baby" she said. "It was just yesterday you were crying about the safety of our baby, I thought you love to have a baby" Manik said and she was silent.

"Kya hua Nandini" he asked. He could hear her muffled voice. "Hey Nandini, I was just kidding, I'm sorry, I know we aren't planning her baby" Manik didn't want to tease her anymore. "Should I take a pill now?" she sounded disturbed. "No need, first you be cool and calm. You don't need to take any birth control pills as you are on one of your safe days so you need not worry about it. Kal raat jo bhi hua wo sirf pyaar tha aur kuch nahi. I promise I won't ever make you regret anything" he assured her. "How did you know about my safe days?" she asked figuring out Manik was true and she need not worry. "Tumhe kya laga! Do I only know you if you say something to me? Main tumhe tumse zyada jaanta hu, you likes, dislikes, happiness, sorrow, mood swings and everything. I know you completely, Manik aur Nandini do insaan nahi hai, MaNan sirf ek dil aur ek dhadkan hai. I will love you till my last breath" Nandini was moved by his love towards her.

Nyonika woke him up after 2 hours. Manik came down after he got ready. His mom fed sweet to him. "Chalein!" Nyonika asked. "Kaha mom?" he asked. "I said I have a surprise for you" Nyonika said and took him out.

Mukti wanted to go home so she asked Abhimanyu to discharge her. Raman and Ishitha took her home. "Why are you all sitting in silence like someone's dead" Mukti said irritated. They looked at her. "Abhimanyu, please tell mom and dad, we're all doctors and we know how advanced medical technology is! Koi tho raasta hoga na" she asked Abhimanyu. "IVF, test tube baby, artificial insemination technique" she listed few artificial procedures. "Mukti, ye sab tabhi possible hoga when you are able to carry your child in your uterus, you got your uterus ruptured" Ishitha said. "Tho main uterus transplantation karwaungi" she said. "Uterus transplantation!" Abhimanyu exclaimed. "Ha we have heard a lot of cases about it na, I still do have a chance to have my baby" Mukti said with a hope. "Tho humare ghar mein phirse baby aayega!" Ruhi said happily. "Ha Ruhi, ab nahi par bahut jaldi aane wala hai" Mukti said excited and took Ruhi away to play with her.

Raman was about to call Mukti back but Ishitha stopped him. "Please atleast let her be happy with this false hope for now" she said. "Uterus transplantation mein koi complications nahi hoga na" Abhimanyu asked Raman. "Usme rate of success bahut kam hai we can't risk Mukti's life for the baby" he said. Abhimanyu was disappointed again after hearing it but restrained himself to tell it to her.

Manik and Nyonika went to a mall. "Do you want to shop something mom?" he asked. "Yes" she took him to a men's spa. "Idhar kya shopping karogi mom! Massage oils!" he asked. "I have come here for you, you are going to have massage" she said. "What! No ways" Manik backed off before entering the store. "So you don't care about me!" she said going away from him. "Ok, as usual drama! Ok I will come" he said. "One more thing, promise me that you'll accept everything I do!" she asked him to promise. "I've agreed to come na why this promise then!" he asked. "Why do you feel so suffocated to make a promise to your mom?" she asked and having no other option, Manik promised her. He had a good head massage which helped him to relax and they both went to have something to eat.

A girl came to them. "Hi, can I sit here?" she asked Manik. He looked around him and saw all the other chairs were occupied. Nyonika asked her to sit. "I'm Rhea" she introduced herself. Nyonika introduced herself to Rhea. "This is Dr. Manik Malhotra, my son, he is the Dean at Lifeline Hospitals" Nyonika said proudly about Manik. He looked at the girl. She wore red dress which had actually complemented her beauty. She said about herself that she was a fashion designer and Manik thought that she was truly talented by looking at the way she presented herself. Nyonika was indulged in talking to her.

"Manik, why don't you go and get something for Rhea?" Nyonika asked him. Manik was bewildered on hearing her but Nyonika insisted him to get a coffee for her. Manik went and ordered a coffee and stood there. Nyonika came there. "Mom, why are you asking me to buy a coffee for a stranger!" he asked puzzled. "She might be a stranger now, but if everything goes well, you need to share everything with her" Manik was astonished. "What will she think of us, if you say so?" Manik asked her. "Don't worry she isn't a random girl like you thought, she came here to meet you Manik, I asked her to wear red color dress for easy identification as I didn't take her number" Nyonika broke the ice finally. "No, I'm not ready to marry someone now" he said.

"So when are you going to get married then! Pehle Alya phir Nandini, you have been rejected by someone and you broke up with other, when can we see you getting married? Tell me something, will you ever get married before I die?" Nyonika became emotional. Manik felt guilty for always being the reason for her sadness. "Remember Manik, you have promised me that you'll do whatever I say, now go and talk to her" she said sounding more like an order. Manik reluctantly took coffee for Rhea and sat with her. Nyonika made herself comfortable on the other table. She saw them talking to each other and felt happy. Rhea hugs Manik before she left and Manik bid her bye. Nyonika went near them as she saw them hugging.

"Aunty, would you mind taking your son till my car?" Rhea asked Nyonika. "Sure, take him, I'll wait here" Nyonika's happiness knew no boundaries. Manik went to the parking lot to drop her off. She drove back and Manik was coming back to his mom. "Thank god Nandini didn't watch all this drama!" he thought and his phone screen flashed her name. "Hi Manik" he heard her cheerful voice. "I was just thinking about you" he said. "But guess I'm not thinking about you" she said. "Why? Are you already fed up with me!" he asked. "No, I came for shopping with Alya, and we met Dhruv here, so Alya got busy and I just called you" she said. "Where did you go to shop?" he asked. "Oberoi mall" she said. "Are you serious! Me and mom are here" he said. "Really! See you didn't allow me to come to you but destiny humesha miladenge hume" she said. "First things first, if you see mom, hide yourself from her, I'm coming in a minute" Manik had cut the call and went to Nyonika.

He was almost there, but the damage was already done. Nyonika met Alya and Nandini. "Hi Manik" Alya greeted him. "Hi Alya, you here!" he asked and looked at Nandini who felt uncomfortable with Alya and Nyonika around. "Me and Nandini came for shopping and Dhruv joined us when I said that we both came" she said. Dhruv greeted Manik and his mom. Nyonika looked at Nandini. "Happy Birthday Manik" Alya wished him and Dhruv hugged to greet Manik. They all sat in a table and Dhruv ordered something to eat. Manik accidentally looked at Nandini's feet and saw anklets which he gifted to her. He felt happy.

"I'm happy that you found the love of your life Alya" Nyonika said. "Thank you aunty, Dhruv ne hi mujhe sikhaya that life gives you many chances and all we can do is just giving a second chance to my life, he is the reason for my smile always" she squeezed Dhruv's hand as she said. "I hope Manik gets his second chance in Rhea's disguise" Nyonika said. Manik, Nandini and Alya looked at her. "Oh I forgot! We came here to meet Rhea, possibly Manik's fiance" she said. Manik put his hand on Nyonika's hand. Nandini rose up from her chair all of a sudden. "Dhruv, I feel like having a headache, can you please drop me home" she asked Dhruv. "Sure" Dhruv said as he noticed everyone being uncomfortable.

Dhruv and Nandini disappeared as they walked down. Manik's eyes we're glued in the direction they went. "Mom, what was that! Rhea is not my fiance, you just told that because of Nandini" Manik accused Nyonika. "Stop fighting with me for a girl Manik, I'm your mom. And I didn't lie to Nandini, get it straight now, I don't hate Nandini, I didn't ask you to break up with her. Didn't you and Rhea hugged and you went down to see her off!" Nyonika asked.

"Mom, Rhea is a nice girl, at a very young age, she has a dream which will take her to heights, she has an impeccable record" Manik said. "I know what attracts you Manik, intelligence, that's why I have selected Rhea, she's definitely one in a million" Nyonika said. "I know she's one in a million, but mujhe nahi chahiye, I hugged her when she asked me to be her friend, I have said that I don't wish to marry her. She asked me to come down as she didn't get her mobile and she could call her driver. Uske driver ka phone off tha, usne khud drive karke chali gayi" Manik explained. Alya stood there silent. "Let's go home please" he asked her. Nyonika walked away from him angrily. They went to parking lot and Manik said to Alya that he will drop her. Alya and Nyonika sat in the car. Manik saw Dhruv's car from the rear mirror and got down suddenly. Nyonika and Alya also got down as they don't know why Manik got down. Manik ran as fast as he can and there found Nandini who fell down on the ground without consciousness.

"Nandini!" he called out for her anxiously. Nyonika and Alya came there. "Nandini fell down suddenly and I was about to take her into the car" Dhruv said when Alya looked at him. Manik tried to wake her up. She didn't open her eyes much to his dismay. He carried her all the way to his car and he drive off with her. Nyonika went behind Manik but he didn't come her and she felt ignored. Alya came to Nyonika. "Aunty, come we will go home" Alya said and took Nyonika with her. They reached home and found Manik with Nandini in his room, still unconscious. "Manik, how is Nandini?" Alya asked. Manik lost his temper.

"How dare you to hurt Nandini?" he held Dhruv's collar and punched on his face.
