"Yes" Nandini exclaimed. She didn't expect this from Manik. He hugged her tightly. "Sorry, is it paining?" he asked realizing that she was injured. "But hum sabko kaise manaye?" she asked innocently. "Kisiko bhi ab manana mushkil hai, I don't have faith that they will accept, on the top of it, I promised chacha chachi that I won't even talk to you and I already broke their promise" Manik said. "Don't worry isliye main neeche aa gayi na!" she said. "I don't care about anyone else Nandini, what matter is you, just you! If you agree we will marry. I'm fact hum aaj hi shaadi karenge" Manik said. "Manik relax, why are we taking things in haste, we'll go with the flow" she said. "No, main aur wait nahi kar sakta, please marry me today Nandini" he asked. Nandini could clearly see him desperate to get married. He seemed to read her mind. "I may look desperate to you but you don't know how much I missed you. I can't afford to lose you again" he said and she smiled. "But main baahar kaise aaungi?" Nandini asked him again.

"If you can realize, you are already out of your house, ab andar jaogi tho shaadi ke baad hi jaogi" Manik said. "What?" Nandini widened her eyes. "Yes, I have made all the arrangements, get in the car" he said and took her to car. "Manik, humare yaha white Kanjivaram Saree pehente hai shaadi mein main ye night dress pehenke kaise, Upar se main ready nahi hu photos and all..."Nandini continued to talk. "I will answer all your questions. Maine saare arrangements karwaya, white saree your makeup everything is done, peeche dekho" he pointed to back seat. She saw many packets which he showed as her saree and accessories. "Why did you bring all these? How do you know that I will say yes?" she asked. "Because I know that your answer is yes, I would have kidnapped you if you said no" Manik said. "Ye sab tho theek hai par" Manik cut her off in the middle. "Maine panditji se baat karke muhurat bhi nikalwa liya, it's exactly at 3 am brahmamuhurat mein" Manik said and she is excited.

Manik got ready and is waiting for her. He knocked on the door and she asked him to come in. He opened the door and is awestruck as he saw her. "Manik aise kyu dekh rahe ho?" she asked him confused. "Everyone in life had to experience this when he saw his bride ready for him" Manik admired her beauty. "I'm not fully ready yet, but you've disappointed me" she said. "What happened?" he asked. "Shaadi South Indian ho raha hai tho I thought you will wear dhoti but you are wearing this Kurta" she said. "What did you expect me to wear then! Punjabi hu tho wahi pehnoge na! And your South Indian outfit is quite different and ek baat bolo tum mujhe shaadi se pehle half naked dekhna chahthi ho! How dirty you have become Nandini" he said pathetic. "Manik! Enough of this now! I called you in to do my hair, I'm unable to plat it" she said. "But I love your hair when you let it flow" he said. "Shaadi mein aise nahi, I want to get it tied" she said. "I think I should rethink this idea of marriage because you already behaving like a typical wife" Manik said playfully. "But I will try plating your hair" he said after he looked at her. Manik applied kajal to her eyes and put it back of her ear lobe. "Jab tak tum mere saath ho mujhe kisi ki nazar na lagegi" she said. "It's time now, we should go" he said.

Nandini followed him to the temple and they had to climb steps to reach the temple. Nandini hesitated to climb as she felt tired after walking. Manik had lifted her before she looked at him. "Ye kya kar raha hai" she asked. "Because you can't walk" he said as he took her to temple. She then sees the Pandit and arrangements being done. They both sit for rituals. "Please don't feel bad as there are no one here" Manik said squeezing her hand to comfort her. She blinks at him. Manik and Nandini were tied in a bond for lifetime. He made her wear mangalsutra and Nandini looks on to him. He kissed her forehead, "I promise I won't ever let you feel bad about marrying me" he said and she holds his hand, "I know that I won't regret it". Pandit asked them to take vows but she stops him. " Manik mujhe koi promises ya vows nahi chahiye, I don't want ki hum promises kare aur unko break karne par heart breaks ho, I just want you and your love. I don't need your promises to trust you, I always trust you and I love you so much" she said.

They both come down. "Surely we aren't going to marry next time, even not for our parents" Manik said. "I was about to say that" Nandini said. "Why?" Manik asked her. "This is the most memorable day in our life Manik, I don't want hum ye memory spoil karein! Even if we marry next time we don't feel like what we're feeling today" she said. "Yes hum ye feeling spoil nahi karenge" she said. "One more thing, I want to rejoin hospital from today" she said. "Itni jaldi kyu? You should rest, and you didn't even sleep throughout the night so go home and take rest" he said. "Ghar pe bore ho rahi hu, waise bhi you are there in the hospital to look after me" she said.

"Oh madam, it's not official if you remember what I said last night. Come, I will drop you home" Manik said. "Shaadi ke baad sab log sasuraal jaate hai aur yaha mujhe apne ghar jaana pad raha hai wo bhi chupke se" Nandini said. "Hum itna lucky nahi hai Nandini" Manik said disappointed. "Main tho itni lucky hai ki ab main finally Gray's anatomy ki jagah Fifty Shades of Grey padungi" she said. "Oh really, have you read that?" Manik asked out of curiosity. "Of course ek baar" Nandini said. "Fifty shades of Grey padke bhi tumne mujhe kabhi kiss bhi nahi kiya! How unromantic are you?" he pouted.

Nandini smiled at him and kissed on his cheek. "What was that? Is that a kiss?" he asked. She blushed. "No need to blush, I will show you what is a kiss!" Manik came near her. "Manik, it's 5 am chacha jogging pe jaa raha hoga, we need to rush" she said. They sat in the car and he drove her home. He stopped at a distance and they saw her chacha going for jogging. "Chachi must have known by now that I'm not at home, what will I do now?" she panicked. "Shh! Don't panic. If she found you missing, she would have called but she didn't, iska matlab they are thinking that you are still sleeping" Manik said. "Ab main andar kaise jaaungi" she asked.

"I have a plan" he said and rubbed his forehead to remove the tilak. He went near the door and asked her to follow him. He knocked the door and she was nervous. "Why did you ring the bell? You said it will be our secret! What will I say chachi if she asked why I'm wearing a bridal saree?" Nandini said. "Shh! Chachi is here, go hide" he said and chachi opened the door. "Tum itni subah!" she asked Manik. "Mujhe Nandini se baat karni hai" he said. Chachi stood at the door and he dragged her out. He signed Nandini to go inside. She went slowly and he saw her climbing stairs. "Please chachi mana mat karna, I saw chacha going out" Manik said. "Manik, we already told you many times not to interfere in Nandini's life again, please leave now" she said and he left from there as his work is done. "Ye Manik kyu aaya aur kyu gaya!" Chachi was confused.

Nandini changed into her night dress and came down. "Nandu, Tu uth gayi! Kaisi hi teri tabiyat?" she asked. "I'm good chachi, in fact I wanted to rejoin hospital from today" Nandini said and chachi denied. Nandini pleaded her and she finally gave in. "OK, as you wish but be careful, have your food on time and don't take stress, aur uss Manik..." chachi was interrupted. "Shanno ji, Nandu itni samajdar hai usse kuch batane ki zarurat nahi hai, she knew how to deal with Dr. Manik Malhotra" chacha said. "Chacha chachi, I'm so sorry that I have married Manik without telling you but I had no other option, please understand that and mujhe maaf kardo" she thought of apologizing them. She got ready for hospital and entered the common room.

She then placed her bag in the cupboard and felt someone hugging her from back. "Manik, tum yaha!" she asked surprised. "Yes, I came here because I'm already missing my wifey so bad" he kissed her neck. "Koi dekhega" she said. "Yes that's why come near the stair case at back side, I'll be waiting" he said and left. She smiled at herself. She loved the feeling of being called his wife. She was about to go but Cabir and Navya came there. "Nandini, tumne hume bataya nahi ki tum aaj hospital aa rahi ho?" Cabir asked. "Ha kal bhi nahi bataya tu ne" Navya asked. "What should I say now to them! Should I tell them that I'm missing my husband" Nandini blushed at the thought. "Hello hum tumse baat kar rahe hai" she came into reality when Cabir called her. "Kuch nahi ghar pe bore ho rahi thi so yaha aa gayi, anyhow you are all here for me" she said and was in a hurry to meet him. But her friends didn't seem to leave her even for a minute. She couldn't even text Manik that she can't come. "Poor Manik must be waiting for me" she thought. "Guys, main abhi aayi" she made an excuse and escaped from them.

"Manik" she saw him still waiting. "I thought you might have left as I didn't come" she said. "How would I leave without you? That's what the marriage is! To always be there for each other" he said. His phone rang and it flashed Alya's name. Nandini saw his phone. Manik remembered how Nandini used to be mad when Alya called him. "Manik take the call" Nandini said. Manik had cut the call. "I'll talk later" he said. "Koi emergency hoga, answer it" she said. He looked at her. "Manik I know what you're thinking right now, I said I trust you, please answer Alya's call." Manik took the call and put it on speaker.

"Hello Manik, where are you?" she asked. "I'm in hospital" he said. "I came searching for you to your cabin, but you were not there" Alya said. "What happened Alya? Why are you sounding nervous?" he asked.

"Mukti ma'am fell down from the stairs and Aditya, he pushed her" Alya said.
