Boromir/Reader

You had decided to go on this quest to save Middle Earth, but more importantly to protect Boromir whom you were engaged to.

You were worried this quest would take his life and if it did you'd rather be there with him than stay in Gondor and not be able to protect him.

"Where are Frodo and Boromir?"

You heard a worried Sam cut through your thoughts.
Where was Boromir, he had seemed a little distant since Lothlorien...

Yet it was too late to worry now as Uruk Hai had started to swarm the forrest.

You took down as many as possible with your bow, but soon switched to your twin swords. You were an experience fighter and had no trouble cutting through the Uruks.

It wasn't until you heard Boromir's horn when you started to worry.
You followed the sound of the Gondorian horn until you saw a wounded Boromir defending Merry and Pippin.

You charged into battle helping Boromir.

When the second arrow came no one saw it before it was too late, and Boromir fell to his knees.

You both fought harder and angrier trying to cut through the sea of Uruk Hai, yet it was never ending.

The third arrow brought Boromir to his knees again yet this time he was unable to carry on.

You screamed in anger and pain as Boromir was dying and you couldn't save him.

It wasn't long before the archer had found his mark again and an arrow was buried into your chest. The pain was excruciating but you wouldn't give up that easily.

It wasn't until an Uruk stabbed it's sword into your stomach when you finally collapsed next to Boromir.

"May nothing but death do us part my sweet Y/N."
"Not even death do us part dear Boromir."

"I love you."
Was the last thing you said before you let the darkness swallow you.

"I will follow you Y/N."
Boromir said, a single tear escaping his eye and falling down his cheek.
