Elrond paced Back and forth with Lindir standing quietly, he was nervous, it was your one year anniversary and Valentines Day. Finally, the good servant couldn't take it anymore.

"Relax my lord, she will love what ever you give her. " he said before popping in a chocolate. "Eat, you'll feel better."

Elrond popped the chocolate in his mouth as he pulled out the bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolate and proceeded to knock on the door. In response, he got a very hoarse "Come in."

Instantly, he rushed in to find you in your bed, swaddled in blankets with tissues everywhere.

"My darling! Shall I go get the physician?"

"N-no it's fine.. just give me a minute and I will be ready for our d-date-" you responding while trying to get out of bed.

"Absolutely not! We will have Valentine's Day in here. You are not getting out of bed today, you need rest." Elrond spoke as he ushered you back in the bed. Quickly, he crawled into bed alongside you, while wrapping you in his arms. To be honest, it was absolutely delightful to be snuggled and receive forehead kisses every once and awhile.

Elrond rang the bell as Lindir rushed in.

"What can I do for you my lady and lord?"

"If you will continue to oversee preparations for tonight and have everything in here." Elrond spoke with a smile. Lindir bowed and quickly left the room.

"What preparations?" You coughed "what are you doing?"

"Nothing!" Elrond protested with a grin. "Oh good! The maids are here. Your going to get a nice hot bath and afterward, a nap and then you shall see. "

The bath was incredible! The the tub was filled with so many scents that you couldn't just pick one. Finally, you left the bathroom and saw that Elrond was waiting for you with open arms.

"Feeling better?" He asked as you sighed contentedly. "Good, you should be better officially tomorrow but for now-" Elrond rang the bell as servants came in with two trays.

"Valentines Day soup." Lindir spoke as he gestures towards the food. "A glass of wine, and to finish it off, Chocolate!"

You laughed as you began to eat.Once you were done, the servants left as Lindir brought in Legolas, Thranduil and Haldir.

Lindir: I can see what's happening-

Legolas/Haldir: WHAT
