Lostpaw padded out, quiet from last night's... argument. Shadowpaw bounded up to her. "You okay, sis?" Lostpaw shook her head to clear her drowsiness. "Yeah... Just tired." She lied. Shadowpaw notices the mark on her snout. "Oh StarClan, what happened?" Lostpaw shrugged. "Thorn, I guess," she lied again, arching her back and flexing her claws. Shadowpaw frowned, still skeptical. "Okay.. Our mentors want us on battle training." Lostpaw padded to the training clearing, seeing Moonfeather, Barkpaw, Ashblaze, Maplestar(who looked tired and grumpy from last night) and finally, Shadowpaw's mentor, Russetwing. Ashblaze, Barkpaw's mentor, stepped forward. "Today we are going to learn what to do when your enemy pounces on you. It may seem like you have a major disadvantage, but I will pounce on Barkpaw, and teach you the move he does." Flicking his tail for Barkpaw to come forward, Ashblaze leaped. Lostpaw winced and waited for the apprentice to get crushed, but Barkpaw simply rolled on his back, fastened his claws(while careful not to draw blood) into Ashblaze's shoulders and haunches, and rolled over, with Ashblaze now pinned down. "Whoa!" Shadowpaw meowed. "That was awesome!" Lostpaw couldn't help agreeing. Ashblaze got up, shook out his ragged pelt and began to teach Shadowpaw and Lostpaw how to do the move.

"I'm so exhausted!" Lostpaw grumbled, as they finished the training session. Shadowpaw purred. "Perhaps you need to eat?" Lostpaw sighed. "Yes that does sound good... Food..." Shadowpaw nudged her, amusement in her eyes. "Don't eat too much, or you're going to be as fat as a badger!" Lostpaw shrugged. "So? I can crush my enemies that way. And my prey. :)" Shadowpaw purred as they walked back to camp. Maplestar leaped onto the Tall Tree and began to speak. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, join here upon the Tall Tree!" Cats scurried out of their dens, gathering. "Today we have a new apprentice." Maplestar meowed. "Sunnykit, from this day on until you recieved your warrior name, you will be known as Sunnypaw. Hawktail, you have excellent knowledge of the warrior code, and amazing wisdom. I trust you will pass these skills down to your new apprentice." Maplestar finished. Sunnypaw scampered forward and touched noses with her new mentor, Hawktail, who purred excitedly. "Sunnypaw! Sunnypaw!" The clan yowled. Maplestar waited for the cheering to die down, and spoke again. "Since the gathering shall be tomorrow, I have chosen the cats I will bring. Moonfeather, Russetwing, Leopardstep, Sunnypaw, Lostpaw, Shadowpaw, me, Shadewhisker, Smokesky, Hawktail, Wisewing and Shimmeringleaf." Lostpaw's pelt tingled with excitement. Her first gathering! As the clan was dismissed, Lostpaw stopped at the fresh-kill pile, choosing a sparrow to eat. After she was done, she trudged back to her nest... To sleep.
