Lostkit narrowed her eyes, crouching. She creeped forward quietly. Letting out a soft growl, she leaped onto her target and began clawing it to shreds. "Die, mossball!" She squealed, biting into it. Her littermate, Shadowkit joined her as well, her eyes lighting in excitement. Clawkit, their other littermate, snorted. "That's for idiots!" He growled, puffing out his chest. Shadowkit swiped at him playfully, and he had to yelp. "Whatever. We're still kits!" She said. Lostkit nodded. "Yea! We can be all grown up and stuff when we're apprentices!" Devilclaw twitched her tail. Lostkit wondered why her mother was always scowling. Devilclaw hissed when Shadowkit came close to her milk. Shadowkit let out a whimper, and bounded over to Berrycloud, the other queen. Sunnykit let out a soft mew but didn't protest when Shadowkit came over. Lostkit frowned. Why wont mom give us her milk? Lostkit thought. Sighing, she lay down, falling into sleep.
