Jace found himself being woken up by a trail of kisses along his neck to which Jace smirked at. Without opening his eyes, he enveloped Kain into a hug and rolled over to lay on top of him, Jace nuzzled his head into his neck. Kain let out a small yelp at the action, though chuckled slightly. Having Kain like this was something that Jace loved and missed the most throughout their time apart. He could feel the faint beat of Kain's heart which made Jace smile slightly.
"Hello to you too, Jay," Kain spoke with a light-hearted laugh.
Jace groaned lightly and kissed Kain's neck. "My prince."
Kain hummed slightly at the kiss. "I take it you're not going to get up, are you?"
"Nope," Jace responded shaking his head slightly. "I wanna stay here with you."
In truth, all that Jace wanted was to stay within Kain's arms, buying his head more into Kain's neck as much as he could. He wanted to stay pressed against Kain, knowing that this was all real, that he wasn't still trapped inside the Magdelorian's cloud. Kain was warm under his touch, his skin soft under him, burying his own head into Kain's neck was enough comfort to last him for a few minutes before the need to return comes back. He liked how easy he fit with Kain, liked how Kain sounded when Jace nibbled on his neck as well.
"Sounds good," Kain said. There was a slight pause. "But if we are going to stay in here then do you mind telling me what happened. You don't have to if you don't wanna, but I just wanted to know."
Jace moved to sit up, though he still sat at Kain's waist, his legs either side of Kain. He looked down at Kain with a small pout. "With your dad or in general?"
Kain tilted his head slightly, though he looked away slightly. "With my father. I know that you might not want to tell me, but I want to know what he said to you. If he hurt you in anyway."
Jace smiled at Kain's worry, though there was a small part of him that wondered whether he truly deserved someone like Kain who cared too much. He placed a hand on Kain's cheek. "He wanted to know where I last saw you, I lied and said that the last time I saw you was when I left. Though Janus got involved," Kain tensed at that as Jace moved his hand to Kain's chest.
Jace found himself looking at Kain, remembering what Janus said to Jace when they talked. He gave Kain a small look, his fingers playing with Kain's nipple. "I want to ask you something, though I'm not sure if I want the answer."
"Jace it's okay," Kain said. He shifted under Jace's touch on his chest. "You know you can ask me anything."
Jace nodded as he clenched his jaw. For a moment, he wondered whether or not he should ask Kain or even mention what Janus told him, though he knew that it would be something that plagued his mind if he didn't at least mention it. "Janus mentioned that I broke your heart when I left. All I want to know is if it's true."
Kain stared at him for a brief moment, clearly not sure what to say. He moved under Jace, though after a moment he let out a small sigh, settling back into the mattress. "It is true. When you left it hurt because you were the first person I ever fell in love with Jace, the first man. You helped me feel comfortable with myself and knowing that my sexuality was normal—that other people felt like that out in the universe, you helped me feel seen and loved for something I thought to be ashamed of. Jace, you helped me in so many ways that when you left it hurt a lot because you meant so much to me."
Kain then shook his head. "Janus was the one of the few out of my siblings who still loved me and talked to me even after the news got out. Janus was the one who tried to help me through all of it, he saw how bad I was—he realised just how much you meant to me and how much my father was an ass because Aegon was the reason why we split. He blamed you as well because he hated what happened."
"Janus saw how much pain I was in after everything, he was there to comfort me when you were gone. He was the one to convince our siblings to help out, the one who got my siblings to believe my side rather than my father's twisted version of events." Kain explained. "They all saw how much of a state I was in after you were gone. They were the ones to help smuggle me off Xopheila."
Jace looked at Kain with surprise, he hadn't thought that the aftermath of all of this would've ended with that. He supposed that it was something that Jace never truly thought about. Jace could feel the guilt slowly eat up inside of him. "I—I'm sorry for—"
Kain rose his hand against Jace's lips. "If you apologise for that then I'm seriously going to consider murdering you right here."
Jace took hold of Kain's hand, lowering it. "But you need to hear it." Jace insisted. "I hurt you because I thought that you would be safer."
Kain's lips quirked up into a smile. "And yet we're here, back in a relationship. While you are crushing my hips and my. . . uh—my. . ."
Jace found himself looking down before looking back up at Kain with a smirk. He rose a brow slightly. "Maybe I want to crush you, bitch. Gives me an advantage."
"You wouldn't," Kain instantly said, raising his finger. "No, please."
A childish grin formed on Jace's lips as he then began to tickle Kain. The prince tried to swat Jace's hands away though failed before he jerked under the attack. Kain let out a laugh, trying to tell Jace to stop, though Jace didn't.
Kain wiggled under Jace, trying to break free though his laughter made his stomach-ache. In a quick motion, Kain managed to pin Jace down by his wrists and straddled his waist, he let out a small breath as he then leaned his head against Jace's shoulder.
Jace was taken aback by this, he stared at Kain with wide eyes. He bit his lip, looking up and down at Kain who had rose from Jace's shoulder. Kain look flustered as a smile still remained on his lips, though he tilted his head slightly at the look on Jace's face. The smile turned into a smirk as Kain leaned into kiss Jace.
It was soft and gentle yet desperate in a way. Kain deepened the kiss between them, his hands still pinning Jace's wrists down. The kiss sent butterflies in Jace's stomach as he leaned into the kiss, he wanted to pull Kain closer to him, to kiss him more but Kain seemed to be in control over it all. Unexpectedly, Kain began to kiss his neck—sucking it more like causing Jace to let out a small moan, Kain's lips always tickled his neck anytime he kissed his neck. Though what had made Jace moan more was the way which Kain's hips rolled against him.
Jace tried to bite down on his lip, trying to hide how much this had pleased him. Though it was cut short when Kain sat up, he smirked slightly as he climbed off Jace. The half-breed let out a small noise of almost disbelief, propping himself up on his elbows to give Kain a look.
"What?" Kain questioned, the smirk still written across his face.
"You know what." Jace muttered. "You know exactly what you're doing and I'm not going to give in."
Kain rose his eyebrow at that. "You'll give in, eventually, Jay."
Jace pouted. "I know." He then moved into kissing Kain again though more harshly than before. Jace had cupped Kain's face when he then moved away, his thumbs ran up and down Kain's cheek. "You're not the only one who can tease, babe."
Kain panted slightly. "Who said anything about teasing?"
Jace didn't say anything, he simply ended up giving Kain a bear hug. Jace kissed Kain's neck and grinned when he moaned. God, he knew that he was going to love this, he always loved teasing Kain till he caved in.

Adrian found himself second guessing his idea to go to Earth. Yet he needed answers which no one else would give him. And Earth was just the place for Adrian to get some more answers. He was about three jumps away from the planet and there was this sick feeling which sat within the pit of his stomach. He had to push past that feeling—this was a job which needed to be done.
He'd never been to Terra, or Earth, or whatever people called this planet, there was a part of him that considered that there was a chance that the planet could have weapons to protect its atmosphere, though there was a part of Adrian that didn't believe that they did. He shook his head, knowing that his thoughts wouldn't help him make his choice.
Without another thought, Adrian went through with it, his ship made the three jumps to Terra. The planet looked so vulnerable that it made Adrian wonder how the hell it managed to be protected against the God of Mischief and his army. He couldn't help but think that most of the work must have been done by Thor, either way Adrian knew that there was a chance that he'd be able to safely land without the worry about anything—hopefully.
His decent among the Earth was somewhat easy to begin with, he wasn't sure how long his descend down was or how far in it he was until there was static that began to come through the radio of his ship—voices which he couldn't work out demanding answers to questions Adrian couldn't think of. It was then that Adrian wondered how exactly these humans managed to get on the same wavelength as his radio—though the realised that his must have connected to the satellites which danced around the planet.
There was a part of him that now cursed slightly, realising that there was a chance that he could've used their satellites instead, though he was committed to going down to the surface of the planet. Plus, there was a small part of Adrian that had a feeling that he could get better information if he went down and talked to someone in order to find the information that he wanted.
"We have your ship locked on target," a male voice broke through. "State your business here or we will open fire."
A small smirk found its way on Adrian's lips. The thought that these people thought that their weapons could destroy his ship was something that amused him. "I want information, not on this planet, but someone from here. I hear your planet might have what I'm looking for."
There was silence for a brief moment before he heard commotion and a mention of a Stark. A feminine voice broke through the comms. "Hi, sorry but Earth doesn't want any visitors today."
"Really?" Adrian asked. "Cause I have information about a missing child from nineteen years ago,"
This time a man's voice came through—it wasn't the same as the one before though Adrian could tell that the man seemed like a small snob. "What missing kid?"
Adrian rolled his eyes, he wondered how Earth could lose track of a missing child that vanished from the face of the planet. Though, he realised that maybe Earth wasn't as sophisticated as he thought it could be if they didn't remember a child missing. Or care. "Nineteen years ago, a child was abducted and was never to been seen again." Adrian explained unamused. "I know who he is and where he might be. All I want in return is safe landing and answers about this same child."
Silence was what filled the ship, though Adrian never once stopped his descend on the planet. He simply waited till they gave him the all-clear then he'd be on his way. Either they give him the all-clear or he'd be more than willing to ruin this planet until he got what he came here for.
The man's voice then broke through the comms again giving him coordinates for where to land. Adrian did what was best no matter how much he wanted to go against what was being told to him. Though as soon as the coordinates came through the line went dead, which Adrian didn't mind at all.
For a moment, Adrian wondered whether or not he should trust these people, he had no contacts on this planet, so he wasn't too sure on who he could trust. Though he would have to deal with it and suck it up. If he wanted to get what he wanted, then he'd have to trust them to some degree, enough to push him into the right direction.
He went to the coordinates which were given to him, though as soon as he landed, Adrian knew that there would be people—humans—with their pathetic mundane weapons thinking that now they've defeated an army from space they can take on the entire galaxy. Adrian knew that him and his team—if they were still with him—would easily cut through them all with ease, hell, Adrian was confident in himself that he'd be able to cut through them without help.
Him and his team were trained to be an army. Well, they were all trained to be a one-man-army, but that wasn't the point. The point was that he really didn't want to deal with humans and their pathetic weaponry. Not that their weapons would have any affect on him, his ability to heal was better than anything.
The runway of his ship had opened and as soon as light hit within his ship, Adrian already saw the line of police cars in the distance though what caught his attention more was the line of seven one of which was in a metal tin suit, another in spandex, the others appeared to be uncomfortable leather. The colours looks odd on all of them which made Adrian almost squint. He wondered for a moment whether the colours were by choice or whether he stumbled upon a circus.
The metal man had his hands raised towards Adrian, two of the women had their guns raised at him, another had ice forming out of her hand, the spandex man had stood there with a shield in hand. There was one with a bow and arrow already set in place, and the last—who didn't look like much—was standing at the back.
Adrian made his way down the runway with a smirk on his face, though his hood was up. In a way it was exciting to be on Terra where everything he heard about came from, yet in a sense he thought he would feel something else. Like worry or fear, yet he didn't. All of them looked like nothing, he knew that he'd be able to cut through all of them with ease, there was a part of him that wanted to, though he knew that he needed them to get what he wanted.
"So," Adrian somewhat dryly said. "This is Terra, the planet who defeated an alien army. It's quite the story up in the galaxy. Though now I'm here, I'm really concerned on how seven—or is it eight? —managed to defeat them plus alongside the God of Mischief." In truth, he forgot how many were on the team that defeated the mischief god, given that there was only seven in front of him and none of them looked like Thor, he was just curious.
"Who are you?" The familiar voice spoke in the tin can costume. "We don't have all day, and frankly we were busy."
"Adrian Sanguis," the huntsman said. "Now the question for me to ask is who the hell are you? Considering that we might be the ones looking for answers within each other, it's better to get acquainted, don't you think?"
"Can I shoot him?" The female asked. It was the same voice who he had heard over the comms.
"Leah, no!" Tin man spoke.
Adrian was unfazed by this. "Yes, cause we both know that no matter what you've been trained, you wouldn't be able to fight off against an alien alone."
"He's threatening me, Tony, please can I shoot him?" Leah questioned. There was something about Leah that made Adrian smile slightly, there was a part of Adrian that had a feeling that Leah would be a good person to fight against in some degree.
The one with the ice rose her hand. "Hang on, he said that he had information about an abducted child. Maybe we should get this information before we decide to kill anyone."
Adrian narrowed his eyes. "I came here with no intention to cause any harm; all I want is anything about the person I'm about to tell you about. Though if any of you decide to attack me in any way, then I will kill you."
The group had shared a small look with each other, clearly all tensed. It was clear to Adrian that they didn't trust him—though why would anyone trust him? He shifted on his feet as he placed his hands behind his back. A small grin formed on his face, all he had to do was grab what he needed then he would be fine.
Adrian waited there for a moment, it was clear that they were all having their own discussion between one another about what to do with Adrian, not that he minded, it gave him some time to get a better look at who was in front of him. He knew that he could cross the tinman and the two with guns off his list and the guy with the bow, knowing that those four would be easy enough to get rid of.
He wasn't sure about the dude in the spandex and shield, there was something about him that told Adrian that there would be some resistance if they were to fight. With the woman with the ice around her and the white strand in her hair, there was something about her that made Adrian a little more on edge. Don't get him wrong, he knew that he'd be able to defeat them, but this was just something that he had to be considerate over.
Adrian didn't even begin to consider the man that hiding behind the others. The man was a little shorter, wearing a purple shirt and glasses. There wasn't much to the guy which was why Adrian didn't even consider him someone to fight against.
He scoffed slightly, was this really the team that defeated Loki? He was sure that Thor carried the team the most. None of these people looked as if they could take on an alien army, it was almost a joke that Loki would lose to this team. Not that he knew what Loki could do but that was beside the point.
"Nat, Steve, and Harriet go with him," Leah muttered to her group. "Then me, Tony, and Clint. Dr Banner, do you mind being the last line of defence? I know how you are with you-know-what so that's why I wanna put you last."
The apparent Doctor Banner nodded. Adrian looked between them all, trying to put names to faces—but he couldn't think. All he knew was tin man was Tony and the other brunette with the gun was Leah, also Dr Banner who had been stood in the back. The others and their names had been something which he didn't know and didn't exactly want to know.
The group turned to Adrian, still quite defensive, though he hadn't taken any notice of any of the looks. Adrian was used to it, something which happened anywhere he went, people always grew defensive by either his name or how little they knew of him. Though, in a way, it felt odd, Adrian knew that the Terran's hadn't perfected spacecraft yet to get out of their solar system, so they hadn't heard the whispers about Adrian Sanguis and the monster that he was.
Not that mattered, the weariness around Adrian was enough to satisfy Adrain in some sick and twisted away. It reminded him that this was what it was like to be feared in a way, it allowed Adrian to snap back into the training that he had, allowing him to not think about the weird feelings that he got whenever he thought about Jace.
Leah gave Tony a look as she stepped forward. "This child that was abducted, tell me his name and if you get it correctly then we'll see if we can give you the information."
Adrian quirked up at that. His eyes narrowed at Leah for a brief moment, he'd noticed that Leah's hair was done in braids, it looked nice. He'd also noted that Leah was pretty as well, not that it mattered. "His name is Jace Christopher Taylor. Born 19th November 1986, and he was abducted nineteen years ago. No one knows where he is or if he is safe, but I do. Either I tell you what I know, and you give me what I want, or you don't, and I'll leave."
There was another brief moment of silence between them, for a moment, Adrian wondered whether or not they'd make him wait as they discussed what to do, though he was glad that all they did was share a look with one another.
It was the ginger haired woman who spoke up first. "Fine. We'll give you information but if you lie then I'll be the one you deal with." It was then that both Leah and the ginger shared a look and nodded as if they knew exactly what to do with Adrian to see if he told the truth.

"Jace, your hugs are suffocating!" Peter complained. Jace had Peter in a bear hug, one of which Peter couldn't escape from no matter how much he tried.
"What?" Jace sounded half offended. "Can I not show my brother how much I love him?"
"Yeah you can but I don't think suffocating your brother is a sign of love." Peter pointed out. Peter then looked towards Kain. "Is Jace always like this with you?"
"Worse," Kain grinned. "He lays on me when it comes to hugs. This is just you being lucky that he hasn't tackled you yet."
Jace let out a dramatic gasp as he then broke away from the hug. "I can't believe that you're agreeing. And here I thought that you both loved me, no I see where I stand." He then shook his head. "No more hugs for the either of you," Jace crossed his arms with a playful pout. "Looks like I have a raccoon, Drax and Gamora to annoy with hugs."
It was then that Rocket's voice came out. "Come near me with this affection and I'll leave a massive turd in your bed."
Jace gasped. "You wouldn't! You do that and I shave you, Rocket."
"Taylor, you are a fool, but I will not hug you," Drax stated.
Jace pouted. "Alright then, both Rocket and Drax shall never receive a hug from me—not even when they want one. I'd have you know my hugs are amazing!"
Drax scoffed slightly. "You almost suffocated Quill, how is that amazing?"
Jace frowned slightly. "Because, Drax, it is!"
"Suffocating isn't fun."
"Peter, Drax is annoying me!" Jace jokily said. "If you don't hear from me in the next ten minutes, arrange my funeral!"
"Oh, for god's sake," Gamora spoke shaking her head slightly. "Your such a child and I thought Peter was bad."
Jace gave another dramatic gasp, he placed a hand over his heart. "Me? Childish? Never heard of such a thing."
"No, you're just a dramatic bitch." Peter called out.
"Says the one who sang Abba when you turned seventeen!" Jace shot back. "Honestly, you got so offended when Yondu turned it off."
Peter shushed Jace by covering his mouth with his hand. "No one needs to know, Jace."
Jace let out a muffled laugh. Peter had then dropped his hand as he then moved to go be pilot, though before he did, Peter looked back towards Jace to see how he had his arm around Kain and had kissed Kain's temple. There was a part of Peter that knew that he was still uncertain about having Kain here knowing how much their first break up was for Jace, but there was something about the way that they were now that made Peter realise that there was no one else for Jace.
No matter how much Peter wished that someone else would come into Jace's life and show him the amount of love that he deserved, there was this small part of Peter that was happy that it was Kain who came back. Jace seemed happier with Kain, happier than what he'd been since their first break up.
The thought of relationships and being in love made Peter look towards Gamora for a moment. There was a brief moment where he wished to have that connection with Gamora, that same connection that Jace had with Kain, though the thought of saying anything of the sorts to Gamora was something he wasn't ready to admit.
Peter shook his head, turning round to go up to the cockpit. He could hear that Jace was laughing at something, something that Kain might have said, it was enough to make him smile.
It made Kain smile knowing that he could make Jace laugh in such a way. It made Kain happy that he could still make Jace smile in the way that Kain loved. He loved seeing Jace happy, he loved everything about Jace. Jace made Kain feel like there was something worth fighting for, like there was a reason he would drop everything just to make sure he was okay.
Kain placed his head against Jace's shoulder as the rest of the Guardians joked about something whether it was saying something stupid or telling each other a story about their life. It was nice, it seemed like a small family. A small family who would do anything and everything for one another. A family which Kain had wished for Jace for years when he found about what happened to Jace's parents. Kain hoped that Jace never lost these people.
