Dawn's POV

Me, my twin sister and my father were moving to a village called Emberton, my father's old home.

My Father: Embeton, my old home, I missed this place"

My mom died two days ago, I was with her when it all happened.

*flashback*

Me and my mom were heading to my uncle's place to see what magic I have. When a car going over the speed limit hit us. Our car started to flip, my mother activated her powers and placed a wrap on my right arm, the car went off the road and next to a river. The last thing I remember was my mom saying something to me. I blacked out and woke up in the hospital, Amelia my twin sister was holding my hand. My father was outside talking to someone wearing a white coat.

Amelia: sis! You're awake"

My father and the person in the white coat ran into the room. My father had been crying. I tried to move but my body hurt so much.

*end of flashback*

Amelia: sis, we are here"

I looked at the new house.

My Father: Amelia, please go inside and pick your new room out. I need to talk to Dawn"

Amelia: yes dad"

Amelia got out of the car and went inside the new house. My father turned around in his seat

My father: Dawn, how do you feel?"

: still upset about mom"

My Father: I know you are, here* he handed me my mom's wedding ring* if anyone asks show them the name on the inside"

We went inside and I picked my room out, Amelia already picked her room. 2 hours later I was reading outside when I heard someone playing the guitar. I looked through the fence and saw a boy with black hair. He stopped playing.

??: Can I help you?* I did not say anything* I know you are there"

: I heard you playing you're are really good"

??: thanks, I'm Shad and you're?"

: Dawn"

Shad: nice to meet you Dawn"

: you too"

Shad: you just moved here right?"

: yep"

Shad: well, Welcome to Emberton"

: thanks"

Shad: you're welcome, hey my band is playing tonight, do you want to come?"

: awesome"

A paper appeared near me. The Shadow Warrior, I picked it up and smiled

Shad: I'll pick you up at 7"

: ok"

Shad's POV

I drive my car to Dawn's house. I saw Dawn standing outside the door.

Karma: why are we stopping here?"

: I told the new girl she is coming with us"

Karma: fine"

I got out of my car and walked over to Dawn. We went to my car.

: Dawn, this is Karma, Karma this is Dawn"

Karma: hey"

Dawn: h...hi"

Dawn sat next to Karma. I sat in the driver seat and drove to the stadium. I saw my two friends Slayer

: Slayer!"

Slayer: Hey Shad, you are late"

: sorry, I brought a few friends with me"

Slayer: hey Karma"

Karma: hey Slayer"

Slayer: who is the girl?"

: that's Dawn she is new here in Emberton"

Dawn: h...hi"

Slayer: Hey, I'm Slayer but you can call me Slay"

Dawn smiled. We went inside and I saw Max and Joy setting up for the show. I walked over to them and placed my guitar on the stage.

Joy: late"

: I know"

I saw Dawn talking to Slayer and Karma. I opened my case up. After the show I was driving back to Dawn's house. I looked in the mirror and saw Karma holding Dawn.

: so Mr. Edgy lord how does it feel holding a girl"

Karma: I'm only doing it so she does not get hurt"

: how is she doing?"

Karma: good, just resting"

We pulled in her driveway and I saw none of the lights were on.

Karma: no one is awake, what do you do?"

: maybe we can take her to our place"

Karma: let's do it"

I drive to mine and Karma's house. I packed in our garage. Karma got out of the car and gently picked Dawn up.

: Mr. Edgy lord"

Karna: I'm only doing this to be nice to her"

Karma went inside and up to the rooms. I grabbed my guitar and the amp. I went to the living room and set the amp in the closet. Karma walked downstairs to me.

: how is she?"

Karma: resting, she asked for some water"

: ok"

Karma went to the kitchen and got a glass of water. I went to my room and saw Dawn laying on my bed. Karma I'm killing you later. I set my guitar near my dresser and gently covered Dawn with the blanket, I walked out of the room and started to have a vision.

*vision*

Xeriesa: it's been so long since I have seen this place* Xeriesa walked closer to a statue that looked like Dawn. she gently touched Dawn's cheek* my my little Dawn the last time I saw you was that night of the magic moon now look at you stoned and placed in my palace, your friends are hiding but I will find them and kill them one by one until every last one is dead! You are the only one who can kill me"

Karma's POV

I gently placed a rag on Shad's head, I may be edgy but Shad is like a brother to me. Shad slowly opened his eyes.

: you had a vision right?"

Shad: yes"

: you need to rest, we will talk out this another day"

Shad: ok"

I went to my room and changed into my nightclothes. Shad, you need to tell your parents about the vision the next day I was cooking when Dawn walked into the kitchen, Shad had gone to the music store.

: morning Dawn"

Dawn: morning Karma"

: how do you want your eggs?"

Dawn: Scrambled eggs please"

: coming right up, how did you sleep?"

Dawn: good, where is Shad?"

: music store"

Dawn sat down at the dining table. I finished her eggs and took them over to her. Dawn smiled.

Dawn: thank you"

: you're welcome"

I heard Shad's car pull up in the garage. Shad is back. Shad walked into the living room. Slayer walked in after him.

: hey Slayer"

Slayer: hey Karma"

Shad: I told Slayer about the vision"
