The faded colours
Now coming back to life,
Her faded smile
Now becoming bright.
And the shine in her eyes
Now becoming the light,
The glow on her face
And the expression of delight.
Her expressive emotions
Now becoming a sight,
What was happening
Was now a highlight,
Something to cherish
And remember the night.
It was her day
And it was elite,
Her fate was sealed
And she took her flight.
