Prologue
Will contain gore, death, abusive relationships, and possibly more. Also, go drink some water :)
This will contain similarities of my IDENTITES spin-off books, HOWEVER it will be different! This is not an AU, nor is it part of the IDENTITIES timeline.

Paws stomped across the floor near the eevee pup. His fur was seemingly normal in appearance, but he was small.
The scientists looked at one another, assuming it was just because his fur was wet. A sylveon was near the pup, proudly licking clean her newborn son. A shiny sylveon was nearby, watching the scientists to make sure they didn't try anything.
The mother's tag rubbed against the floor as she licked her pup clean. The gray stone was cold, too. It made things a lot more uncomfortable for her, and her pup. "What will you name him, Aisuru?" The shiny asked, not seeming to care. "Tamao, for his round little face." The mother proclaimed tiredly.
The shiny nodded and let out a low growl. The mother, Aisuru, looked up. The scientists were outside the glass cage and were ready to take her son. Aisuru snarled as she was ready to defend her pup. This was the first one to live after all.
The first one out of many to live.
Aisuru's tag snagged on the pup's fur, tearing it. The shiny sylveon snapped at a scientist as it opened the cage, and Aisuru licked her pup's torn fur. She didn't mean to tear it.
Tamao let out a weak cry, and Aisuru looked back, noticing he was hungry. The scientists didn't care though and grabbed the shiny's tag. "Azurn!" Aisuru cried out. The sylveon flailed in the scientist's grasp. It seemed as though they didn't want the pup, not yet, anyways.
Azurn would likely be going to another cage to get another mate, especially since Aisuru's pup survived this time.
Aisuru attempted to use Moonblast on the scientist. Strangely, something stopped the scientist from getting affected. An eevee, one a few years older than her newborn son. There was also a human boy helping the scientist. Azurn yipped as the boy got close, and bit his hand when he got close.
Chaos broke out with Azurn's decison, and Aisuru grabbed Tamao, taking him away from the glass. The pup would need extra care, and thus, would need extra protection from the battle going on outside the cage.
Azurn was wild, attacking the scientists like crazy, and that led to the scientists backing away from the open cage door. Some scientists grabbed sleeping darts, yet Aisuru didn't notice.
She only focused on the opened cage door, and the opening door to the next room. Aisuru grabbed Tamao and ran out of the cage. She used quick attack to gain extra speed, and she barely made it through the door.
Then, she collapsed. A sleeping dart penetrated through one of her haunches, and into her bloodstream.
Tamao, a now confused pup, was grabbed and taken away from Aisuru, who was being dragged off into another cage.
Tamao was placed into his own cage though, a glass separating him from the hallway. The stone was dull, and lifeless, except for a painted Sakura Blossom on the wall. The young boy came over to Tamao, a bottle of milk in his hands. "They told me to feed you, little guy." The boy spoke. It was hard for the newborn Tamao to understand, and different than the normal Pokémon speech.
The eevee outside glared at a vent, then looked at Tamao.
The human boy started to put the bottle in front of Tamao, who tentatively accepted the food and nutrition.
It was strange to Tamao, and he didn't like it, yet he had to accept it, as he knew deep inside that if he didn't, then something bad would happen.
After the bottle was finished, the young boy left. The eevee, however, didn't.
"What's your name?" She asked. Tamao remained silent. Some of these words in this context were new to him, and difficult to understand. The eevee hummed. "My name is Glacier'Gazer, but I'll be going by something else soon. Well, it was nice talking to ya!" She exclaimed, running off.
After a moment, a noise sounded in the vents, like a Pokémon moving through them. Tamao stared at it with curiosity, then went around his cage, getting used to his new surroundings. The stone was cold, and almost freezing in temperature. He went back to where he was sitting, as it was warmer.
He didn't know why it was warmer, he just knew it was more preferable. He tapped his small paws against the stone, not sure what to do. The rest of the cage was too cold to explore, so he didn't see a point in exploring at this time.
He looked out at the hallway, slowly gaining more awareness of his surroundings. The tree painted on the wall was pretty to Tamao, so he decided that he would ask more about it when another Pokémon walked past.
After a few seconds, Tamao tentatively attempted to explore, pushing through the cold stone. He walked to one edge of the cage, to another. When he finished, he bounded back to the warmer spot of the cage, however, it was no longer warm. He frowned at this and laid down in a corner. It was colder than any other place with having a metal bit in the wall, but he felt as though he could almost feel warm air coming out from it.
After a few seconds, it shot out warm air. It was pleasant, and Tamao could feel himself drifting to sleep with this new comfort. It was peaceful being asleep, and it made Tamao feel nice, as though everything would be okay, and that he could see his mother again soon. And, who knows, maybe she can answer his many questions he already has. It would be nice, after all.
As the darkness of being asleep surrounded Tamao, it gradually gained light, and then, a scene. It kept Tamao entertained in his current state and was amazing! He wished he could feel this way every day!
