Yuuri's POV:

"Wake up mummy!" Oomfph. Rose jumped up on me suddenly, waking me up instantly. I rubbed my eyes sleepily to see a little girl smiling brightly as she sat on me.

"Hey, don't jump on your mummy, Rose." Victor chuckled as he carried her off my stomach. That is Rose? Our daughter Rose? 

I can see? I'm finally able to see? Oh my...

"Sorry daddy." Rose said in remorse as she sat by my side. She looks so cute. Her silver-brown hair shone under the morning sun as she tried to climb up Victor's back. 

"You have to wake up now mummy. It's daddy's birthday today!" She says excitedly as she jumped on the bed.

"Oh? Have you wished daddy happy birthday?" Opening my arms wide, she jumped into my embrace and sat on my lap as I played with her soft locks of hair.

"Oops! I forgot mummy! Sorry daddy! Happy birthday to you!" She said in shock as she stared at me with wide eyes before turning to Victor to wish him happy birthday sweetly.

"Thank you baby. Where's my happy birthday then, my love?" He smirked playfully before leaning in closer.

"Happy birthday Vic." I smiled softly at him making him pout in disappointment.

"What? No birthday kiss?" He mumbled unhappily like a little kid while Rose laughed at his actions.

"You big baby. Here *kiss* happy now?" I leaned forward to place a kiss on him cheek making him nod in satisfaction. Thinking that I couldn't see it, he opened his mouth to reply back. 

"Yup!" 

"Can we have breakfast now? I'm hungry." Rose started to tug against Victor's shirt as she pointed to her tummy innocently. 

"Oops. Sorry baby girl."

"I'm not a baby anymore daddy. I'm 4!" She held up three fingers to Vic, making him laugh lightly before putting up another of her finger.

"Did you enjoy your birthday yesterday?"

"Yes Mummy! It was fun! Uncle Yurio and uncle Otabek played tag with me." She said with much enthusiasm as she ran down the stairs to the kitchen.

"Do you need my help love?" Victor stared at me worriedly as I stood my the stairs.

"It's alright. I can manage like before. Why don't you go and cook for her first before she make a fuss of having a monster living in her." As if remembering that incident, he shook his head in amusement.

"Okay. Then you take your time okay? Don't rush and watch your step." He says lovingly before rushing down to catch our little flower. The last time her stomach growled loudly, she thought that she had a monster inside her and cried for 2 hours straight.

Once I ensured that Victor was out of sight, I skipped down the steps silently and watched the view in the kitchen from the steps. Victor was stirring the batter for waffles while he talked animatedly with Rose. They must be talking about something very interesting as Rose has her little hands flying all over as they chatted.

I want to surprise Victor but what should I do...I want him to be happy on his special day. I want to do something special for him to make up the past 5 years which I could not do anything much. Oh I know!

"Hey Yurio."

"What's up katsudon? Isn't it Victor's birthday today? Aren't you guys suppose to be celebrating?"

"That's the thing. Can you help me watch over Rose for the night and distract Victor for the afternoon?"

"What are you going to do? No offence but you can't really do much and who knows what will happen if no one looks after you."

"Fine...I'll only tell you this so you have to keep it a secret ok? No one else, not even Victor, Otabek or even Rose should know, okay?"

"Okay. Spill."

"I-I can see again."

"Really?! Oh my goodness! That's great!" I held the phone away from my ear as he shouted

"So...can you help me out?" 

"Sure! Leave it to me."

"Thank you."

"No problem." 

Hanging up, I smiled to myself before walking down to see Victor with a distressed look.

"What's the matter Vic?"

"Yurio just called to say that Chris has flown over to find me and wants to meet me at 1 and that he has a children ticket for the children theme theme park and wanted to bring Rose out with them for the day if we allow."

"Sure. Why not?" Wow, Yurio's fast. Thank you Yurio for your efficiency. 

"You'll be left at home..."

"It's alright. It's a rare chance for Rose to go out and enjoy so let's just let her enjoy to the fullest. I bet she'll love it. For you, it's Chris who we're talking about. You know you can't go against him. He'll come here and drag your ass out if you don't go." That's Chris for you.

"True but-" 

"I'm perfectly fine Vic. It's your birthday. You should go and enjoy. I'll be fine at home." He pondered for a while and opened his mouth again. Can't he just drop it and go?

"But-"He went silent immediately when I gave him the pointed look. "Fine...you'll be okay by yourself?" Nodding repeatedly, he finally gave in.

"I'm home love!"I popped my head out of the fridge once I place the cake in to see Victor standing at the door with wide eyes.

"Did you buy all these by yourself? Where did you even buy them from?" He asked surprised as he looked at the Russian dishes which I've prepared.

"I hope you'll like them. I don't really know if the taste is there...I couldn't find all of the spices that are needed."

"Y-You mean...you made them?" Standing in front of him, I shrugged innocently as I stared up into his beautiful eyes which was currently tearing up.

"D-Does that mean that you...can see me?" I nodded lightly. Immediately, he burst into tears while sitting down on the ground in both happiness and disbelief.

"Happy birthday Victor." Kneeling down, I wrapped my arms around his shivering fame, bringing him to me.

"Thank you Yuuri. This is the best birthday present ever." He cries as he buried his face against my stomach.

"I love you. Sorry for all the troubles which I've caused." I ran my fingers through his hair, soothing him. I'm so sorry Victor. Thank you for being the best husband and father one can ever ask for.

"I love you too. I love you so so much." Hugging him tightly, I know that our lives are going to take off from now.
