Aspen's P.O.V.

"You did an amazing job with the Damon Woods party, Penny." Mr.Fox said, "So I thought since you have been bringing in so much revenue for our company a little vacation for you would be good."

I looked at him shocked, "I don't think that's a good idea, Mr.Fox. I-I mean I can't take it, I was just off of work last week I can't afford to take another vacation."

Mr.Fox smiled down at me, "Penny, you need to take a break here and there. I may seem like a stuck-up boss but I do care for you Penny because you grew up in front of my eyes, so did Nyzie. So come on take the bonus check and take a vacation along with your family."

Sighing I stood up giving him a hug, "Thank you, Mr. Fox."

He chuckled patting my back, "Go on, take an early leave. Don't worry this vacation is going to be paid for. You have two weeks." Mr. Fox looked at me one last time before walking out of my office. 

Mylie walked into the room with her stuff already packed, "What are you waiting for? We need to get out of here before Mr.Fox changed his mind."

Giggling I grab my things from my office locking the door behind me before walking out of the building, "Where do you want to go?" Mylie asked excitedly, "Florida? New York? Colorado?"

I shook my head, "I just want to stay home Mylie,"

"Oh come on don't be lame. We haven't been anywhere in so long. Please?"

"Fine, we'll decide once the kids get back-"

"Let's pick them up early, please? We need to go out of Atlanta, have some fun all of us as a family. The last time we went out somewhere was when Rhett was still with us."

"Let's go," I sighed getting to the car driving over to the school, Mylie got out basically running over to the school in less than ten minutes the two kids were running over to the car along with Mylie. 

"Mommy, is it true that we are going on a vacation? School is almost over anyway where are we going?"

I looked at Mylie who just shrugged at me, "It slipped out. You know how excited I get when it comes to vacations. I've been like that since we were younger."

"Penny...where are we going?" Bear asked 

"I don't know yet guys, let's get home first okay then we'll ask Mom and dad for their opinion."

Bear, Nyzie, and Mylie chatted the whole way home until they ran into the house I let out a sigh, I liked vacations too but I knew once I say okay Mom is going to invite the Quests over too. I don't want them to come but I don't want to be rude either. 

If we go I want to go on our terms and conditions, not with the Quests, actually, I don't even have a problem with anyone else other than Talon. He had tried to call me after the little altercation we had in the bathroom but I ignored it. He was never going to change...he always hurt me and always will. 

Walking into the house after them I stop seeing cars parked in front of the garage already...did I just fucking jinx myself? One car was Nova's and the other I didn't exactly recognize...Taking in a deep breath I try to control my anger and walk inside the house. 

As soon as I do I am greeted with the whole family sitting there mine and Talon's family including him and Jax. What's going on?

Smiling I say hello to everyone except you know who and sit down beside Nyzie. "What's going on?" I say 

"Well we were just visiting," Aunt Rosey said, "until Bear over here told us that you got a two-week vacation from your job, and apparently you are going on vacation."

"Um...I was planning to yes...but I just wanted to make sure everyone was on board first so we could decide the destination." Word had traveled so fucking fast all because of Mylie. Look I love her but sometimes...at times like this I wanted to strangle her, "So is everyone okay with leaving Atlanta for a little while?"

Mom and Dad chuckled as Nyzie and Bear began jumping up down, "We'll be fine Penny, it'll be good for everyone to get out of Atlanta for a while." Mom said looking over at Aunt Rosey, "Do you guys want to join like old times?"

Uncle Clay pulled Aunt Rosey towards himself, "We would love to. It's been way too long since our family had been on vacation too. The small trips to California for Talon were great but something as a family would be wonderful."

Talon looked over at me smirking, "So I'll put the first suggestion out I guess, what about New York?"

Nova shook her head, "No...there's nothing to do there, Vegas?"

Mylie said, "No not really kid-friendly...Colorado?"

"Disney World!" Nyzie said jumping up and down, "Please? Can we please go to Disney World?"

Bear and Nini joined in with the pleading, "Please, please?"

"I'm okay with Disney World," I said looking around the room

"Perfect, it's perfect. It has something for the adults, for the kids, and for us." Jax said standing up

The parents all agreed the only one that was left was Talon, "Disney World it is, the trip is on me."

"No!" I said quickly, "Um...we'll split the cost like we usually do. I can handle our side you can handle your side."

He squinted his eyes at me, "It's okay Navy, I got it."

"And I said I can handle it. Mr.Fox gave me a big check from the last event I had planned it'll cover everything."

The room went silent watching us go back and forth, "Navy-"

"Talon, thank you for the offer." Mylie said, "But we always split the cost when we went on family vacations before, let's just keep it that way."

Talon looked over at her, "Fine, but we are going to go on my private plane. It'll be less hassle."

Glaring at him I cross my arms ready to fight back but Mylie stops me, "Sounds good."

Talon stood up placing his glass of water down on the table, "Great, we leave tomorrow then to Florida?"

"Sounds good," Mom said not letting me respond trying to avoid another disagreement between us.

"I'll send you all the details for the hotel tonight Mylie, " He said looking away from me, "Then you guys can figure the rest out."

Biting my cheek I sighed as an excited Nyzie jumped into my arms, "Thank you, Mommy,"

"Don't thank me, Baby, thank Talon." She giggled jumping out of my arms she pulled at his pants Talon looked down at her.

"Yeah?"

"Thank you Talon, I always wanted to go to Disney World."

He leaned down in front of her so he was on his knees, "You don't need to say thank you, sweetie. That's what friends do right? Take each other out on vacations?"

"Right,"

Nyzie was about to walk away from him but he stopped her, "Don't call me Talon, call me Noah. All my friends call me Noah."

"Noah?"

"Yep,"

"But Mommy doesn't call you Noah..."

"Your mommy doesn't like me very much, that's why she doesn't call me Noah," Talon said smirking 

Glaring at him I cross my arms, "That's because you were mean to her that day. Did you say sorry to her?"

He looked up at me, "I did...but there are somethings sorries don't fix...somethings stay with you."

Nyzie  looked at him confused before pulling him along with her over to me, "Say sorry then Mommy will like you."

Everyone was carefully watching what was happening between the three of us, Talon stood up to his normal height towering over me, "I am sorry Navy."

Clenching my jaw I look away from him, "It's okay Talon,"

"Noah Mommy," Nyzie corrected me.

"Your mommy hasn't forgiven me," Talon said. 

My eyes snap up to his in anger letting out a frustrated groan, "It's okay Noah."

"See she's forgiven you silly!" Nyzie said giggling she ran away with the other two leaving us standing in the middle of the living room staring at each other. 

"So I'm forgiven?" He said cheekily knowing damn well he was not.

"Buz off Talon," I grumbled running up the stairs to change my clothes.

These two weeks are going to be hell.
