Talon's P.O.V.

Anxiously waiting for the doorbell to ring I paced in front of the door looking down at my phone, "Nini are you sure mom said that they'll be here at 8?"

She chuckled sitting on the stairs in front of me, "Yeah, I'm sure." Nini looked up at me hesitantly, "I need to tell you something promise you won't freak out?"

Confused I ask her, "What?"

"Bear and I...we are dating," she said quickly like she was ripping off a bandaid.

Smirking I sat down in front of her, "Bear and you huh?"

"Yeah...you aren't mad?"

I grab her hand, "Why would I be mad Nini? I know that Bear is a nice kid, it was obvious that you two liked each other too when you were younger. Just...know that ill beat him up if he hurts you in any way."

Nini pulled me in a tight hug, "Thank you for not freaking out."

Chuckling I hold her close to me, "As long as you are happy Nini," I whispered to her before pulling away hearing the doorbell ring, "Now, don't tell them that I'm here. Navy will leave right away,"

She nodded as I ran into the closest room I could find, "Penny!" I heard Nini say, "Come on in."

Peeking through the crack in the door I smile as I see Penny hugging Nini, behind her came Uncle Asher, Aunt Fauna, then Bear... and then Nyzie. She had grown up so much, she looked exactly like Navy, she was beautiful. 

"Let's go to the dinner table, Mom made so much food," Nini said looking over at my door giving me a thumbs-up as everyone moved into the dining room. Letting out a relieved breath I step out of the small room, sneaking behind the group carefully. I told Jax to stay hidden until I said so. 

I was scared of their reaction, but I was excited to meet them too. Nova texted me letting me know that everyone is eating, mom had told her that Jax and I are back.

Sighing I walk over to the dining table along with Jax, Navy didn't even look at me but Nyzie ran over to me, "Noah!" She hugged me really tightly slowly Navy's gaze lifted to meet mine as she heard Nyzue beginning to cry. Pulling her close to me I kissed the top of her head, "Shh, don't cry." I whispered to her. Aunt Fauna looked over at me smiling along with Uncle Asher. 

"Where did you go? Mom said that you will be back soon, but it's been so long." She whined in my arms, Bear didn't look happy seeing me neither Mylie. They both sat still. Mylie has a baby with her...is it hers? Or?

Navy glared at me returning back to her dinner, picking her up I kiss her head, "It's okay, I'm back everything will be okay, Nyzie. Eat your dinner."

"Come join us Talon," Uncle Asher said patting the seat beside him

Nodding I sit beside him taking a plate pouring myself food, Navy's body stiffened up as I sat across from her. I gave her a pleading look but Navy looked away from me, "Excuse me," She said abruptly leaving the table. Navy ran away from the table not looking back, I got up from the table too, "I'll be right back."

Running behind her I follow her outside but someone stops me, "Leave her alone Talon," Bear said pulling me back. 

Confused I pull my arm out, "Bear-"

"You have hurt her and Nyzie enough, leave Talon."

Glaring at him, "I didn't come back here to leave Bear,"

"Talon-"

"No, I know I have hurt her but for the past 6 fucking years all I have thought about is them. I know you don't like me, I know you have only seen me hurt her Bear but I swear to god, I love her." I begged, "I love her and Nyzie."

Bear took a step back, "One last chance Talon," He whispered, "Please don't hurt her, she's in the backyard."

Relieved I run to the backyard, he was right she was sitting on the swing crying...Cautiously walking towards her I sit down beside her, "Don't Cry," I whispered to her

Navy looked up at me shocked, "Go away Talon," she whispered back, "I don't want you around me,"

I felt a tear slip out of my eye, "Navy...please,"

"I don't want you around Nyzie either, I can't handle her again after you leave-"

"I'm not leaving," I interrupt her, "I left the management,"

"I don't want to get hurt again Talon," She confessed, "I don't want Nyzie to get hurt either Talon,"

"I won't hurt you two ever again, please I just want another chance," I plead, "I won't ever leave again, I won't let anything touch you two please,"

Navy shook her head, "You're 6 years too late." She snapped, "I have moved on, Nyzie has moved on to, we don't have room for you in our lives. Mylie has a daughter with Damon, Daya, and everything is fine in our lives, and mhm-" I grab her by the neck planting my lips onto hers trying to convert my emotions through my actions instead of my words. She stood frozen for a couple of seconds but then she began kissing back. Her hands wrapped around my neck and mine when to her waist. 

Her body relaxed in my arms, I tried to put as much, anger, frustration, and sadness into the kiss, to explain to her that I didn't leave on my own will, but I came back in my own will. 

Running out of air we both pulled back Navy was panting she stared into my eyes, "Please..." I whispered, "Please...don't hate me."

Biting her lip she looked away before taking a deep breath, "I could never hate you Talon, I have been in love with you since I was 16, and now 16 years later, I am still in love with you."

Chuckling, "And I have been in love with you since I was 18, but you know boys are a little late to understand their feelings, and 16 years later, I am standing here in front of you, please Navy just give me one more chance I won't give you a chance to complain."

I could see the internal battle, "I'll be the best boyfriend, Ill be the best dad...I promise."

We didn't even realize Nyzie had ran up to us, she hugged us, "Please mom? Please forgive Noah?"

Navy smiled down at Nyzie, "You promise?" She asked 

I pulled her even closer along with Nyzie, "I promise,"

"Then yes Mr. Talon Quest, Nyzie, and I would love to be a part of your life."

Kissing her on the forehead I pull her into a hug along with Nyzie. "I love you both,"

"We love you too,"

I got my family back, and this time I was never going to let it go.
