When I woke up I was laying propped up on a hospital bed. Grace was sitting up playing in her crib. My left wrist hurt really bad, when I looked down I saw gauze wrapped around it. I wondered how long it would take to heal for Grace, for me it is only supposed to take two weeks but it might take twice as long for her. Blake walked in, he peaked in on grace before seeing that I was awake.

"How are you?" He asked coming and sitting own on my bed.

"Peachy." I reply dryly.

"Stop lying, how do you really feel?"

Like complete shit, and I have no control over it." I say lowering me head.

"I'm so sorry Danny, I never meant for all this to happen." He said trying to take my hand in his. I pulled my hand gently out of his hold. I don't feel the tingles anymore, are bond was broken when the hot iron was burned into my skin. I was under the stupid medicine so I didn't feel the pain of our bond breaking once and for all. He deserves it, he doesn't go through any of the pain for rejection so I'm glad he felt the pain of the bond breaking.

"But it did, and you didn't do a lot to try and stop it. When do we depart from the pack?" I said venom dripping off of every word. We were technically rejected wolves. We would have to leave very quickly if not now.

"I'm going to give you too three more hours before you must be off my land." He said standing up. "I will come back in two hours to escort you guys to the border." I nodded. On his way out he stopped by Grace's crib. He looked at me as asking for permission to pick her up, I nodded my head slightly but standing up at the same time. I wanted to be ready incase he tried anything. He gently picked her up, and placed something around her neck, then he laid her down on her back and left the room with out another word. I walked over an picked up the necklace that he had placed on her neck. It was a heart with a wolf engraved on the front and on the back there were five simple words. . .
