Chapter 6

Later, they both arrived at the cafe where they were serving lunch.

Sara was in the cafe, she saw Scott and Vincent. "Hey."

"Hey Sara." Scott said.

Sara smiled warmly, but, noticed that scarf wrapped around Vincent's neck. "Where'd you get that scarf?" She asked.

"Oh, Scott bought it for me." Vincent replied. "I thought it would be fitting for the abnormal weather going on." Scott said.

"Oh, that's very kind of you, Scott." Sara said, smiling warmly.

Scott smiled back. "So, how is your guys' progress regarding Vincent's memory?" Mike asked. "It's going good. Vincent's remembering things more and more." Scott replied. "That's great." Jeremy said, smiling.

"I'm so glad." Sara said, smiling warmly.

"Oh, that's right. Boss said that after lunch, he's gonna take us for a hike. He said there is a beautiful view from the cliff we went to to see the meteor shower." Jeremy said. "I don't know, Jeremy. I don't think Vincent would like the idea of going near a cliff after what happened last night." Scott said.

"Yeah." Sara said.

"Hmm... Yeah, that's true." Jeremy said. "How about we do something else?" Nigel suggested.

"Well, there is a beach near here. We could go there." Sara said.

"Yeah. That sounds like a good idea." Mike said, smiling.

Sara smiled back.

"Alright. It's settled. After lunch, we're all going to the beach." Nigel said, smiling.

Sara smiled warmly.

Everyone cheered while Vincent looked at Scott and smiled. Scott smiled back.

Sara looked at Scott and Vincent and smiled at them.

After lunch, the others got ready for the trip to the beach and got on the bus. Fritz looked at Sara. "Is Vincent going to be okay at the beach?" He asked.

"I hope so, I just hope nothing bad happens to him." Sara replied.

Fritz looked at Vincent. "Alright." He said. "Alright, everyone. Let's go!" Nigel said. With that, they're on their way to the beach.

Sara felt the wind flow through her hair as she walked with the others, she put on her sunglasses.

"You know, to be honest, I haven't gone to the beach in a long time." Vincent said to Scott. Scott held his hand. "Well, I'm sure we'll regain some more memories here." He said.

Sara looked at the sky as she held Mike's hand.

Mike looked at Sara and smiled.

Sara looked at Mike and smiled back warmly.

Vincent noticed that the others packed a lot of stuff. "Seems like you guys brought a lot of luggage." He said. Jeremy chuckled. "We're near a seaside resort, after all." He said. "Yeah. It'd be too depressing to sit at home all the time. We have to spread our wings a little." Marylin said. "Yeah." Mary said. "Hey look! There's the sea!" Fritz said. "The sea in summer! It's mine!" Anthony shouted playfully as he ran towards the stairs. "Be careful, Anthony!" Kevin said as he ran after him. Everyone looked at each other. "Ah, what the heck?" Aiden said and everyone ran to the beach.

Sara laughed as she ran with the others.

"All right! Yahoo!" Anthony cheered as he jumped into the water. The others followed soon after. Vincent and Scott looked at each other and smiled. Then, Scott saw someone he wasn't expecting. A person was sitting under an umbrella reading a book. He had short, black hair, white skin and had purple tears on his face. "Mari?" He wondered. "Hmm? What's up, Scott?" Vincent asked. "Look. Isn't that Mari over there?" Scott asked, pointing to Mari. Vincent looked and saw him. "You're right. It is." He said. The two of them walked over to Mari. "Mari?" Scott said. Mari looked up and saw Scott and Vincent. "Oh. Hello." He said, smiling.

Sara saw Mari. "I see you're here too, Mari." Sara said as she walked to them, smiling warmly.

"What are you doing here anyway?" Vincent asked. "Oh, I just wanted to take a break from the job. The rest of them are handling the kids fine." Mari said. "How's your memory?" He asked Vincent. "Oh, it's doing fine. What about Springtrap?" Vincent asked. "He's doing great. *chuckle* He remembered that he and Goldie are lovers." Mari replied, smiling.

"That's great to hear." Sara said, smiling warmly.

Mari chuckled and looked at the others who were playing in the water. Mike dunked Jeremy in the water and he pretended to play dead to fool Mike and he dunked him. Marylin and Mary are playing volleyball in the water, and Nigel is relaxing in the sand. "Seems like they're having fun." Mari said.

Sara giggled. "Yep."

"Anyone up for a snack?" Nigel called out. "Yes sir." Everyone said and gathered around. "Should we go back to the lodge?" Marylin asked. "Convenience store food works for me." Mike said. "There are also seaside shops around here." Mary said. "Hold it, you guys. We're standing here on the beach. How can we not make the most of the outdoor life?" Anthony asked. "You want to cook here?" Kevin asked. "I knew you'd be the first to get it, Kev." Anthony said, smiling and giving him a thumbs up. "What?! How are we supposed to do that without any tools?" Marylin asked. "I've got the bases covered! Take a look at this flawless setup!" Anthony said, showing the others a grill and silverware that he set up. "He's such an idiot." Marylin whispered to Kevin. "No, I think this is pretty smart." Kevin said. "This is what was in that huge bag?" Vincent asked. "Are you going to cook?" Aiden asked. "With what ingredients?" Fritz asked. "Local fare, of course!" Anthony said. "Definitely an idiot." Marylin muttered. "With all that stuff you brought, I should've known." Vincent said. "Riley, you brought the fishing gear, right?" Anthony asked. "Yeah." Riley replied. "Alright. Then, let's see who can round up the most ingredients." Anthony said. "Do we get anything for winning or losing?" Aiden asked. "The loser has to make the food and the winner gets to eat it. How about it?" Anthony said. "Hmm... Sounds interesting." Marylin said.

"Well, I'm sure I'll be the winner in this one." Sara said as she crossed her arms.

"I'll be the one to pick the teams." Anthony said. "Wait a minute, how many of us are there?" Vincent asked. "Hmm... About 12 of us including me." Anthony replied. "13. I'm here too, you know." Nigel said, raising his hand. "Alright, so what are the team names?" Kevin asked. "I don't know." Anthony said.

"We can pick random letters maybe?" Sara asked.

"Alright, how about Team A and Team B?" Kevin suggested. "Sounds good. First off on Team A will be Mike, Jeremy, Fritz, Scott, Vincent, and Kevin. And on Team B will be Aiden, Riley, Sara, Mary, Marylin and me. Is that good?" Anthony asked.

"Yep." Sara said.

"Alright. Let's head out!" Anthony said. Everyone grabbed the fishing poles and headed out. "So we're competing based on the fish we catch?" Jeremy asked. "No. If you catch anything else besides fish, it counts too." Anthony replied.

"Alright, let's do this." Sara said.

Everyone cast their lines and started fishing.

Sara looked at the sea as she noticed the fishing string beginning to pull. "Oh!" Sara started to roll in what was pulling the string. She saw the Great Barracuda. "Well, this is unexpected."

"Whoa!" Anthony stood there wide eyed as Kevin started laughing. "I never expected you to catch one of these things, Sara." Mike said.

Sara giggled. "Yeah. It is unexpected."

"Well, that's extra points for Team B." Anthony said, smiling.

"Woohoo!" Sara cheered.

Mary and Marylin giggled. Scott and Vincent searched through the tidal pools for anything to eat. Since Vincent doesn't remember, Scott had to explain what he got. Vincent got sea lettuce. "That's sea lettuce. It tastes awful." Scott said, shaking his head. Vincent put the sea lettuce back in the water and got red algae. "That's red algae. You can't eat it on its own." Scott said. "Hmm..." Vincent looked at the red algae and put it back in the water. "I got one! It's a big one! Anthony shouted. He pulled on the fishing pole and reeled in his line. Eventually, he got his catch out of the water. Well, actually he got a big batch of kelp and it landed on Marylin's head. "W-What is this?" He asked, starting to shake in anger. "Pfft! That's kelp." Scott said, trying to contain his laughter. Marylin got the kelp off her head and threw it at Anthony's face. "You're supposed to catch fish!" She shouted. "Sorry." Anthony said.

Sara held in her laughter as she covered her mouth.

Anthony removed the kelp from his face and threw it in the bucket. Vincent looked in the tidal pool and saw a jar containing something mysterious. When he picked it up, a tentacle wrapped itself around her wrist. It took him a second to realize that it was an octopus in the jar. "Ahh!" He started to get scared. "What's wrong?!" Scott asked. "Get it off!" Vincent said, scared. Scott helped Vincent get the octopus off of his hand. He took the octopus out of the jar and put it in the bucket.

"Was that an octopus?" Sara asked.

Vincent nodded.

"We-" Before Sara could finish her sentence, she felt a hand grab her ankle. She fell to the ground and sat up to see a shadowy hand grabbing her ankle, her eyes widened as she was now being pulled in the the water. "AH!" Sara screamed as she was pulled in. She covered her mouth to hold in her breath, trying not to let any water in her mouth.

"Sara!" Vincent shouted. He ran towards the water and Scott ran after him. "Vincent! Wait!" He shouted, but Vincent jumped into the water. "W-What's going on?!" Anthony shouted. "Sara... S-She got pulled under the water by... something, I-I don't know!!" Scott shouted. "No time to waste, guys! We gotta go after her!" Mike said and jumped into the water. The others jumped into the water too, Scott worried about Vincent's safety. "Vincent... Since he has amnesia, he... he can't swim!" He thought.

As soon as Vincent's body hit the water, his mind went blank. He had no idea how to swim, but he didn't care about that. He cared about Sara. He started to kick his legs in an effort to get some momentum. Scott grabbed his hand and looked at him sternly as if telling him to listen. He started to swim in a downward direction. Vincent followed Scott's movements as they swam down with the others following them.

Sara saw shadowy hands grab her wrists, making her uncover her mouth. Her eyes widened as she began to feel numb.

Soon, the others reached the bottom of the water and saw that Sara was being held down by shadowy hands. Vincent, Scott, Mike and Aiden grabbed Sara's wrists and tried to pull her out of the shadow's grasp while the others tried to pry the hands off of her. Jeremy saw the shadow look at him and gave him a menacing grin. Jeremy knew that if he and his friends don't do something, Sara's gonna die. Jeremy grabbed a sharp seashell and stabbed the shadow in the eye. It screamed as it let go of Sara. Scott got Sara on his shoulders and the others swam back up.

Sara was unconscious as she was being carried.

The others got Sara out of the water and laid her on the sand. "Sara? Sara, can you hear me?! Sara!" Mike shouted as he shook her. "Stand back!" Kevin said and checked Sara's pulse.

Sara's pulse was fine.

"Kevin, is she...?" Aiden started to say. "Her pulse is fine." Kevin said. He checked her breathing.

Sara slowly began to open her eyes.

"Sara? Are you okay?" Kevin asked.

Sara nodded.

Aiden hugged Sara. "Oh thank god you're okay." He said. Tears are evident in his eyes.

Sara hugged back.

"What was that, anyway?" Jeremy asked. "I-I don't know..." Scott replied. "Sara, what happened?" Kevin asked.

Sara sat up. "I was being pulled in the water by Shadow Bonbon..." She said.

Everyone's eyes widened. "S-Shadow... Bonbon...?!" Kevin said. Vincent looked at Mari, whose eyes are widened as well.

"I don't think I know why he's here, but, we need to be more careful since Shadow Bonbon is here." Sara said.

Everyone nodded. Mari looked at the ocean and saw that both Shadow Bonbon and Shadow Freddy are smirking. He shot them a glare as if to say, "Don't hurt my friends or else you're gonna get it.". The shadows both nodded, but he saw Shadow Bonbon smirk before they disappeared.

"We should get back to the lodge. It's going to be night soon." Sara said.

"Yeah. We should head back." Nigel agreed. They all got back on the bus and headed back to the lodge.

Sara was wrapped in a towel, she held the towel tightly as she looked out the window.

Mike put his hand on her shoulder. "I'm glad you're okay, Sara." He said.

Sara rested her head on Mike's shoulder. "And I'm glad you guys saved me." She said.

Mike smiled and hugged back. Aiden looked at the two of them and sighed. He felt like it was his fault. He wasn't there for Sara when she got attacked and... He looked at Jeremy. "Hey. When we get back to the lodge, can we talk?" Aiden asked. "Um, sure." Jeremy replied.

Sara looked at Aiden and hugged him.

Aiden was surprised, but he hugged back.

"Aiden, it's not your fault that I was attacked. You were still there for me. So, please don't feel that it was your fault. 'Cause it's not your fault." Sara said.

Aiden let his tears fall from his face as he buried his face in her shoulder.

Sara rubbed Aiden's back.

Aiden continued to sob into his sister's shoulder.

Sara continued to rub her older brother's back. "Shh.... It's okay.... I'm still here..." She said.

After a while, Aiden began to calm down, say for a few sniffles.

"Are you feeling better?" Sara asked.

Aiden nodded.

Sara smiled warmly. "That's good." She said.

"Thank you." Aiden said.

Sara smiled warmly. "You're welcome, Aiden." She said.

Jeremy watched the whole thing and smiled. Sara is such a sweet girl.

"Can - hear - ?"

Jeremy heard a little girl's voice.

"My voice... Hey, you..."

"H-Hello?" Jeremy said.

Sara too heard the girl's voice, she looked around. "That voice..." She thought.

Scott, Vincent and Kevin heard the voice. "A-Amy?" Vincent said.

((Wow, that was quite the chapter, wasn't it?))
