Chapter 4

*The Next Day*

August 4th

Vincent and Scott were sleeping peacefully when they felt someone jumping on them. They opened their eyes and saw Plushtrap jumping on them. "Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! It's the day of the trip!" He said excitedly. "Ugh... Plushtrap, we know, but did you really have to do that?" Scott groaned.

Sara saw Plushtrap and giggled.

"Mmm... What's going on?" Vincent asked, rubbing his eyes. "It's the day of the trip! I'm so excited!" Plushtrap said.

Sara picked up Plushtrap. "Alright, Plushtrap. Let's let them wake up." She said.

Plushtrap smiled cutely. Scott and Vincent got up from their beds. "Whew... That kid sure has a lot of energy." Scott said as he put on his glasses.

Sara looked out the window, her smile now fading.

"Hmm? What's wrong, Sara?" Vincent asked.

"It's nothing. I was just remembering something..." Sara said.

"What did you remember?" Scott asked.

"That Sandra killed me years ago......" Sara said.

"Oh..." Scott hung his head low, remembering the event. "I remember." He said.

Sara looked out the window. "This world is a cruel place, but, it's also very beautiful..." She said. "But, if we keep looking for Vincent's memories, and that beautiful part of this world. I'm sure miracles will happen." Sara said.

"Yeah." Scott said.

"Well, we should get ready for the trip." Sara said.

"Okay." Scott said and turned to Vincent. Vincent nodded and got out of bed. They got ready for the trip and got to the train station where everyone is waiting. "Hey guys!" Anthony said, waving. "Hey Anthony." Vincent said, waving back.

Sara had Plushtrap on her shoulder. "Hey guys!" She said.

Kevin saw Plushtrap and grew uneasy. "Soooo, uhhh, how are you guys doing?" He asked nervously. "Dude, are you OK?" Anthony asked. "Y-Yeah, I-I'm fine." Kevin stuttered. "It's okay. I won't bite." Plushtrap said.

"Kevin, it's okay. Plushtrap was sent by Mari to make sure nothing bad happens to Vincent." Sara said.

"A-Ah, that's right." Kevin said.

"Kevin, there's no need to be uneasy." Sara said.

"But... I don't have a good feeling about this kid." Kevin said. "I won't betray you guys. I want to help Vincent get his memories back just as much as all of you do." Plushtrap said.

"Plushtrap's right, he won't betray us." Sara said.

Kevin looked at Plushtrap, then back at Sara. "C'mon, Kev. You have to give the kid a chance. He wants to help us." Mike said. Kevin sighed. "Alright, fine." He said. "Yay!" Plushtrap cheered.

Sara smiled warmly at Plushtrap.

"So, shall we get going?" Nigel said. "Yes, sir." Everyone said. "Alright, everyone. Let's go!" Nigel said. They all boarded the train and soon, they were on their way.

Sara looked through the window as her arms were crossed, her suitcase beside her.

"Wow! What a beautiful view! Plus, this is my first time riding in one of these!" Amy said excitedly.

Sara smiled warmly. "Yeah, it is a beautiful view. And what's funny is that, this is also my first time riding in one of these as well." Sara said.

"Really? That's amazing!" Amy said, smiling. "I would say more along the lines of awesome!" Plushtrap said while pressing his face against the window.

Sara giggled at Plushtrap, she picked him up as she looked out the window.

Plushtrap's eyes marveled at the view. Vincent and Scott smiled. "Oh, by the way, Kev? What's the weather forecast for the week?" Mike asked. Kevin pulled his phone out of his bag and checked the weather forecast. "According to the weekly weather report, it should be mostly clear." He said. "Okay. That's great." Mike said. "I'm sure it'll be pretty. I'm looking forward to the meteor shower." Anthony said, looking at Kevin.

"I'm also looking forward to the meteor shower. And plus, I've never seen a meteor shower before." Sara said.

Mike smiled. "Well, I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun." He said, smiling.

Sara smiled warmly. "Yeah."

Later, the train stopped at the station and they took the bus through town and arrived at another station where they boarded the train and and they started going to their location. At this point, it's lunchtime and everyone is eating their lunches.

Sara got out her ponytail holder and put her hair in a low ponytail. She looked out the window as she took a bite out of an apple.

"Wow... This looks delicious." Amy said as Vincent took a bite out of a sandwich. "Do you want some, Plushtrap?" Scott asked. "Sure." He replied as Scott gave him crackers and cheese. "Mmm... This is delicious! It's a whole lot better than being stuck in a place where you only eat pizza. After a while, you kind of get sick of it." Plushtrap said as he ate the crackers. "What do you think they'll feed us at the lodge?" Vincent asked Scott. "I don't know. I guess we'll see." Scott replied.

Sara saw the ocean through the window. Woah... She thought.

Vincent stared in awe at the sight. "This is beautiful." Scott said. Then, a lot of memories came back to Vincent. Scott taking him to the beach, them swimming together, even Scott making a seashell necklace for him. He smiled.

Sara smiled warmly.

"Do you... remember going to the ocean with you?" Scott asked. Vincent nodded.

Sara smiled at them.

Later, they arrived at the station. "Ah, we're here." Anthony said as he stretched his arms.

Sara got her suitcase.

The others got their luggage and got on the bus. Later, they arrived at the lodge. Vincent, Scott, Sara, Amy and Plushtrap arrived at their room and they all set their bags on their beds. "What a nice place." Amy said as she looked out the window. "Yeah." Vincent said. Plushtrap started to jump on the bed.

Sara giggled at Plushtrap.

"Well, looks like you're already having fun." Scott said, smiling. Plushtrap giggled and flopped on the bed.

Sara looked out the window.

Vincent also looked out the window. It showed a beautiful lake scenary. "So, what do you want to do?" Plushtrap said. "Well, there is this stand that has boat rides. Maybe we could go there." Scott said.

"I'm going to be honest, I've never been on a boat before." Sara said.

"Really?" Vincent asked.

"Yep." Sara replied.

"Well, being on a boat is really fun. You can see your reflection in the water and allows you to see new sights." Scott said.

"I see." Sara said.

"Well, shall we get going?" Vincent asked.

Sara nodded.

The others went to the lake where the others are. "I would like four tickets, please." Scott said to the manager. He nodded and gave Scott four tickets. Scott gave the tickets to Vincent, Sara, and Plushtrap. "Aw, sweet! A boat ride!" He said.

Sara smiled at Plushtrap.

The four of them got in the boat and Scott started paddling. Vincent looked at his reflection in the water and smiled.

Sara looked at her reflection in the water as well, her reflection had a woman wearing the same clothes as Mari, she had red cheeks and purple stains on her cheeks as well. And her eyes were black with white pupils.

"The water's pretty, isn't it?" Vincent asked.

Sara nodded in agreement.

Vincent began to regain a memory. Him and Scott are riding in a boat together, talking, then Scott says something that surprises him. But, he couldn't hear what he said. Scott moved closer to Vincent, but before he knew it, he was back to reality.

Sara looked at Vincent. "Did you regain another memory?" Sara asked.

Vincent nodded. "Scott and I... We were on a boat just like this... And he seemed to have told me something that surprised me. But, I don't know what he said." He replied.

"He might have confessed his love to you." Sara said.

Vincent blushed. Scott also blushed.

Sara noticed Vincent and Scott's blush.

"Ah... I-It could be a possibility." Vincent said.

"Maybe." Sara said.

Scott arrived at the dock and the four of them got out of the boat. "Wow! That was so much fun!" Plushtrap said.

Sara smiled warmly and picked up Plushtrap. "I'm sure it was." She said.

Plushtrap smiled back. Vincent looked at Scott and put his hand on his shoulder. "Hey Scott?" He asked. "Hmm?" Scott looked at him. "Um... About what Sara said earlier, about my memories... Is it true that you, um, confessed your love to me on that boat?" Vincent asked. Scott blushed and looked down. "Hmm..." Vincent wondered if it's true. Then, he felt raindrops on his face.

Sara noticed that it was beginning to rain. "Well, thank goodness I brought an umbrella." She said. She got out her umbrella.

Vincent and Scott got their umbrellas out too. They noticed the others, including their boss get out their umbrellas. "Wasn't it supposed to be clear this weekend with 0% chance of rain, Kev?" Mike asked Kevin. "That was the forecast during the week. The weather changes rapidly. What can you do?" Kevin replied. "What a downpour!" Anthony said. "Now, everyone. I think this rain will end soon." Nigel said. Anthony looked at him. "I don't see any sign of that. How do you figure?" Anthony asked. "I can tell by the smell." Nigel said. "I-I see... By the smell." Anthony said. "Can you really predict the weather by smell?" Amy asked.

"I have no clue." Sara replied.

"It doesn't look like it's gonna stop." Anthony said. Vincent looked at the rain coming down. Then, another memory came back to him. He and Scott are at an amusement park and it was drizzling, so he let him under his umbrella. He asks him if he is having fun and he says yes. He smiled fondly at the memory.

"We should get back inside the lodge. We can't stay in this rain for too long." Sara said.

Vincent nodded, but Scott looked at the rain to see that it stopped. "It stopped raining." He said.

"Well then." Sara closed her umbrella.

"Wow! Just like Nigel said, the rain finally stopped!" Marylin said in amazement. "It stopped right after he said it. That's kind of amazing." Mary said as Nigel smiled. "It is." Anthony said.

Sara smiled and nodded. "Yep."

The others closed their umbrellas and made their way back to the lodge. Anthony was talking to Kevin about what kind of smell rain has. Scott noticed the look on Vincent's face. "hey. Are you okay? Did you regain another memory?" He asked. Vincent nodded. "As I was listening to the rain, I remembered the amusement park we went to before. There were lots of cute stuffed animals on the prize counters and while it drizzled, you let me under your umbrella." He said. "Ah, I'm glad you remembered it. We had a lot of fun at the amusement park. The rain kind of made things even more fun." Scott said, smiling. Vincent smiled. "Hey guys! We're here!" Mary called out, waving.

Sara smiled.

"Looks like everything is going well. He's getting his memories back really easily." Amy said, smiling.

"Yeah, I'm glad that we're getting Vincent's memories back." Sara said.

The others went inside the lodge. "So, what do you guys want to do while we wait for the meteor shower?" Fritz asked. "Hmm... How about a game of air hockey?" Marilyn suggested.

"Air hockey?" Sara asked.

"Yeah. It's a game for two competing players trying to score points in the opposing player's goal using a table having a special low-friction playing surface." Marilyn said.

"Oh, okay." Sara said.

"That sounds like fun." Aiden said. "Yeah sure. We can do that." Mike said. "Now then! While we wait for the meteor shower, a contest! Team hockey game, commence! The first contenders are Team Mike and Jeremy versus Team Aiden and Riley!" Marylin announced. "Mike, you're on offense, I'm on defense. Is that all right?" Jeremy asked. "Of course. There isn't any other formation." Mike said. "Hm... Looks like some people are blurting out their strategy. I wonder if they're underestimating us." Riley said. "Of course not. You're good at this kind of game, aren't you, Riley? You're in table tennis, right?" Jeremy asked. "Yep. I pretty much am." Riley said, smiling. "That's really cool, dude." Mike said. "So, you don't need a strategy meeting?" Jeremy asked. "It's already decided. I'll plan and Riley will fight." Aiden said. Riley looked at Aiden. "Hey, Aiden. You don't have to be polite and reveal our strategy, too." Riley said. "Now it's fair. We'll just show them that they'll still lose." Aiden said. "I'm the one who has to do the work. Not that I mind." Riley said. "They sure talk big. Not that we plan on losing, either." Jeremy said. "Well, it looks like both teams are ready, so let the game begin!" Marylin said. And just like that, the game started. It was an intense competition, but in the end, Aiden and Riley win the game. "Team Aiden and Riley wins!" Marylin announced.

"Good job you two!" Sara said with a warm smile on her face.

"Thank you, sis." Aiden said, smiling. "I think Riley is seriously just too good." Mike said, panting. "No, Aiden's flawless strategies are really something, too." Jeremy said, panting too. "Damn... I don't think I can win in a game that uses hands. I know, cards. Let's play poker." Mike suggested. "Fine with me. But, I gotta tell you, I was a prodigy in high school, so expect yourself beaten pretty quick." Riley said. "I'm seriously starting to think there is no winning against Riley." Mike said, scratching his head. "Sorry about that." Riley said. "I'm glad we came after all." Amy said. "That's true. Thank you, Amy." Vincent said. "But I haven't done anything." Amy said. "If I were alone, I'm sure it would be impossible. You, Sara, Scott and my friends being here has saved me." Vincent said, smiling. "I see. I'm glad. You know, I'm happy that I'm with you, too. I know that getting your memories back is our top priority, but I'm happy that I get to have all these experiences with all of you." Amy said, smiling. "Thank you, Amy. We're glad to have you here." Scott said, smiling too.

Sara smiled warmly.

"Hey. It's your guys' turn." Marylin said, handing Vincent the air hockey mallet. "Oh, right." Vincent said. "Good luck, Vincent." Marylin said, patting his back. "Thank you, Marylin." Vincent said, smiling. "Alright, Team Scott and Vincent versus Team Nigel and Mary. Let the game begin." Marylin said. They all started to play. It was a stiff competition and they were down to a tiebreaker. Nigel got the opportunity to hit the puck. To everyone, it seemed like the puck disappeared, but Vincent managed to hit it back and they scored the winning point. "Woohoo! You go, Vince!" Mike cheered. Scott hugged him tightly as Mike ruffled his hair. Vincent felt happy. Then, another memory came back to him. The others are at the arcade and they were at an intense moment in the air hockey game, but Vincent scored a lucky hit and his team won.

"Good job, Vincent!" Sara said.

Vincent smiled brightly. "Thank you, everyone." He said.

Sara smiled warmly.

"Did you have another memory?" Scott asked. "Yes. I won the air hockey game just like this about a year ago. I scored a lucky hit and my team won. You guys were all here to congratulate me." He said.

Sara smiled.

"Alright. Now, with everything settled, it's time to see the Mnemid meteor shower." Nigel announced. "Yay!! Woohoo!" Everyone cheered.

"I wonder what the meteor shower looks like." Sara thought.

Meanwhile, outside the lodge, Mari was standing at the front door with a worried look on his face. "Vincent, please be okay." He thought before walking away.

The others walked through the forest while Nigel explained about the Mnemid meteor shower. "The Mnemid meteor shower. It is said that those who see it will etch wonderful memories into their hearts. I hope that tonight will be a wonderful memory." He said. "Boss, how much further?" Mary asked. "Just a little further." Nigel replied. "You said that before." Mary said. "This time, I mean it." Nigel said. "This is pretty tough. Are you okay?" Amy asked. "Yeah." Vincent replied. "You tried hard hard at hockey, so maybe you've used up all your strength. But good job beating the boss!" Amy said, smiling. "Yeah. I surprised myself." Vincent said. "The boss' puck disappeared for a second, too! You did well to hit it back." Amy said. "I had my eyes closed the whole time." Vincent said. "What? So you hit that by chance?" Amy asked.

Sara looked up at the sky, she noticed one of the meteors. "Guys! I see one!" She said.

Everyone looked up. "Wow!" Mary said. "It's so beautiful." Vincent said, smiling.

"It is." Sara said, smiling warmly.

Vincent got another memory. Scott and Vincent were watching the meteor shower and they were very happy. Scott gave Vincent a pretty bracelet that had half a heart with the letter "V" on it. Vincent put it on and Scott put on the same bracelet that had another half of a heart with the letter "S" on it. They put the halves together and it made a whole heart. Vincent blushed and smiled fondly. "Do you remember... us seeing the meteor shower together?" Scott asked. Vincent nodded.

Sara smiled at them.

"We're almost there." Nigel said as they arrived at a cliff. "Ooo, I've never seen a meteor shower before. This is so pretty!" Amy said. "Yeah. It sure is." Vincent said. Scott looked at Vincent and held his hand. He looked at Scott and smiled. They all sat on the logs and looked at the sky as the meteor shower started.

Sara smiled warmly at the sight, she rested her head on the side of Mike's shoulder.

Mike blushed and wrapped his arm around her waist. Everyone watched the meteor shower with bright smiles on their faces. Amy stared in awe at the sight.

Sara smiled warmly. "I wish I would see these meteors every night with everyone, watching the beautiful night sky glow. This world may be very cruel, but, this world has beautiful places, and this is one of the beautiful places in this world. Once we find all of Vincent and Springtrap's memories, all of us will find the most beautiful part of this world, together....." She thought, now smiling gently.

After the meteor shower is over, everyone started to make their way back to the lodge. "Wow! That was a beautiful meteor shower!" Amy said. "Yeah. It was." Vincent said, smiling. "I don't know what's more fun, the hockey game or the meteor shower. Well, it was fun either wa-" Amy and Vincent saw Aiden. "Aiden." Vincent said. "You're exhausted, aren't you?" Aiden asked. "Well, just a little." Vincent replied. Aiden held out his hand. "Here. I'll help you back to the lodge." He said. Vincent took Aiden's hand and they started to walk. "You know, there's something I want to ask you." Aiden said. "Hmm? What is it?" Vincent asked. "Well... Can I help you regain your memories like Scott helped you regain your memories?" Aiden asked. "Of course, Aiden. We're in this together. You're my friend." Vincent said. Aiden flinched. "So... He doesn't remember that I..." He thought. "Y-Yeah... I'm... your friend..." Aiden said quietly. "Um... We should catch up to the others, or they'll worry." Vincent said. He tripped on a rock, causing him to fall and his flashlight fell out of his hand. Luckily, Aiden caught him and the flashlight fell to the ground. "That was dangerous." Aiden said. "I'm okay. I'm fine, so..." Vincent started to say, but he saw someone in the trees. "Hmm? What's wrong?" Aiden asked. "There's... someone in the trees..." Vincent said. He walked closer to the figure and saw that it was Sandra. "N-No way... H-How did she escape?!" Vincent thought. Sandra ran away and Vincent gave chase. "Wait, Vincent!" Aiden shouted and ran after him.

Nightmare walked up to the flashlight Vincent dropped and picked it up. "Now, I have no choice." He said. He shined the flashlight on his face, revealing his smile. "I guess I should take this to them. No... It's no use. Because this is where he..." He chuckled evilly and he turned off the flashlight. Then, Vincent lost his footing and started to fall off the cliff. Luckily, Aiden caught up to him and grabbed his hand.

Sara ran to where Aiden and Vincent were. "Vincent, are you okay?!" She asked, worried.

"Y-Yeah. I-I'm fine!" Vincent answered as Aiden pulled him up. "What happened? What did you see?" Aiden asked. "I-I saw Sandra... She escaped somehow." Vincent answered. "But... how? That's impossible." Aiden said. "I don't know... W-We should get back to the lodge, quickly!" Vincent said, frantic. "O-Okay!" Aiden said and they all ran back to the lodge.

Sara looked through the window. "How did Sandra escape?!" She thought.

Everyone looked at Vincent. "Vincent, are you okay?! You're shaking!" Scott asked, hugging Vincent. "Vincent... he saw Sandra through the trees. He tried to catch her, but he almost fell off the cliff." Aiden answered shakily. "What?! Oh my god! Vincent!! You gotta be more careful! You had me so worried." Scott said, tears starting to form in his eyes. "I'm sorry." Vincent said, hugging back. "I was lucky that I got to him on time. If I wasn't there, who knows what would have happened." Aiden said. Scott looked at Aiden. "Thank you. Thank you for saving Vincent, Aiden." Scott said. "Ah, you're welcome, Scott." Aiden said. "But how?! How did Sandra escape?!" Fritz asked. "I-I don't know, but we all need to be extra careful from now on." Aiden said.

Sara nodded.

"Wait... Anthony, turn on the news." Kevin said. Anthony nodded and turned on the news.

"Hello. I'm Chloe Parkins and I'm here today with your 10 o'clock news. At approximately 9:26 P.M., a prison guard found Sandra trying to escape the Marston City prison. The police tried to stop her, but she put up a brutal fight. A total of ten to eleven casualties have been reported. The police are now on a state wide manhunt for the woman. It is unknown what her motives are at this time, but she is likely to be armed and dangerous. If you see this woman in your area, please call the local authorities."

Everyone's eyes widened as Anthony dropped the remote.

Sara covered her mouth.

"Oh my god..." Marylin said. "Everyone, I want all of you to go to your rooms. It's not safe to be in the lobby." Nigel said. "But, what about you, boss?" Mike asked. "Don't worry. I'll be okay. I'll handle this." Nigel replied. "Alright, everyone. Let's go." Aiden said and they all went back to their rooms.

Sara saw Plushtrap with a worried look on his face.

"Is everything okay, Sara?" Sara asked.

"Sandra.... She escaped from the prison..." Sara replied to Plushtrap.

Plushtrap's eyes widened. "W-What?" He asked.

"We need to be more careful now, 'cause she might come here soon..." Sara said, she began to remember some which frightened her...

Sara was walking around the diner, holding her Spring Bonnie plush close. She heard smashing sounds, which made shiver go down her spine. Sara opened the door.... And her eyes widened. There was a bloody suit sitting on the ground, it's head off. Sara began to shake, but, she saw a woman.

"Oh. Well, hello there, little girl." Sandra said, smiling. She looked at her blood stained clothes. "Hmm... It looks like you witnessed what I've done. Now, I'm gonna have to kill you as well." She said.

"N-No.... G-Get away...." Sara said, now stepping back.

"Ah, ah, ah..." Sandra grabbed Sara by the wrist and covered her mouth to prevent her from screaming. She put the knife to her neck. "If you want to live, you'd better not tell anyone what you saw, okay?" Sandra asked.

Sara began to feel tears will up in her eyes, she noticed Plushtrap behind Sandra.

"Don't you dare hurt her!" Plushtrap shouted as he hit Sandra with a crowbar. "UGH!" Sandra grunted and let go of Sara.

Sara ran to the door and opened it, she ran out of the room with Plushtrap as tears were running down her face. Once they escaped from Sandra, Sara leaned against the wall, now shaking. "W-Why... D-Did that lady... K-K...." Sara didn't find the words to speak, her voice was breaking slightly.

"I don't know. But..." Plushtrap held Sara's hand. "It's okay. If that lady tries to hurt you, I won't hesitate to hurt her. No matter what happens, I'm here for you." He said.

Sara looked at Plushtrap and smiled a little. "T-Thank you, Plushtrap." She said.

"You're welcome, Sara. Now, let's go find your parents." Plushtrap said.

Sara nodded as she held Plushtrap's hand.

The two of them walked around the pizzeria, looking for Sara's parents.

"Mommy? Daddy?" Sara called out.

Plushtrap saw them by the show stage. "Look. I see them." He said.

Sara saw her parents. "Mommy! Daddy!" She called out to them.

Sara's parents looked and saw her daughter. "Sara, sweetie!" Her mother said as she hugged her. "Where have you been? We were worried about you." Sara's father said.

"I-I saw a woman... I-In the backroom, a-and...." Sara began to shake.

"Oh, sweetie..." Sara's mother said as she rubbed her back.

Sara sniffed as tears were now running down her face, she buried her face in her other's shoulder, now beginning to cry as she held her Spring Bonnie plush close to her chest.

"Shh... It's okay... It's okay, Sara..." Her mother cooed as she rubbed her back.

Sara began to calm down.

"Are you feeling better, sweetie?" Sara's mother asked.

Sara nodded.

Sara's mother picked her up. "Alright. Let's get you home." She said.

Sara nodded.

Her parents took her to the car while Plushtrap ran to the front door.

Sara looked at Plushtrap.

Plushtrap looked at Sara and waved.

Sara waved back and smiled.

Plushtrap watched the car drive away.

**FLASHBACK END**

Sara felt tears in her eyes, but, she wiped them away.

"Sara? Are you okay?" Plushtrap asked.

"Yes, I'm alright, just remembering something." Sara said.

"Oh." Plushtrap said, remembering the event too.

Sara looked through the window, worried, purple tears now welling up in her eyes.

Plushtrap put a hand on her shoulder. "It's okay. The police will find Sandra and put her back in jail." He said.

"I hope so." Sara said as her purple tears were now falling from her face.

Vincent and the others hugged Sara.

Sara hugged back.

"It'll be okay, Sara. Sandra will go back to jail and everything will be back to normal." Scott said.

Sara sniffed, but, she wiped away her purple tears.

"Don't worry. It's all gonna be okay." Vincent said.

Sara smiled a little.

Vincent smiled back. Then, they heard something like glass breaking. "W-What was that?" Vincent asked. "I-I don't know... but I really hope Nigel's okay." Scott said.

Nigel heard the window break and got his pistol. He looked around for the intruder, but he couldn't find them. Then, he felt a cold blade against his skin. "Well, if it isn't the boss himself." A familiar voice said. He knew it was Sandra. Nigel couldn't turn around, fearing that if he moved, he would have that knife in his neck. "Well, you seemed to have built up the courage to come here." He said. "Heh, why would I come here without a reason?" Sandra asked. "It's impressive that you got out of that prison. It had high-tech security cameras and everything." Nigel said. Sandra chuckled. "There is no prison I can't escape from. The police are stupid. They may be well-trained, but they aren't smart like me." She said. "Oh really? Calling yourself smart, eh? Well, you seem to underestimate who you are up against." Nigel said. He grabbed her wrist and flipped her over his shoulder. Her back hit the floor so hard it knocked the wind out of her. The force of the impact made her drop the knife.

Sara and the others ran to Nigel, to see Sandra knocked out. "W-Whoa... Sir, you knocked her out cold!" She said, surprised.

"Mmm-Hmm." Nigel nodded his head while rubbing his shoulder. "Now, if you excuse me, I'm gonna call the police and let them know where Sandra is." He said, pulling his phone out of his pocket and dialing 911.

Sara looked at Sandra and strings came out of her finger tips. The strings began to wrap around Sandra, so if she would wake up, she won't be able to escape the strings.

"Alright, they're on their way." Nigel said as he hung up. "By the way, sir, how did you learn to do that?" Mike asked. "Well, I took karate lessons when I was in middle school." Nigel replied. "Whoa..." Mike said, wide-eyed.

"That's amazing, sir." Sara said.

Nigel smiled. Soon, the police arrived and got Sandra in the car. "Thank you, sir, for helping us catch her." The police officer said. "Oh, it's no problem, sir." Nigel said.

Sara sighed in relief.

"Thank god Sandra's going back to jail." Sara thought.

Vincent breathed a sigh of relief.

Sara looked through the window that was opened, feeling the wind flow through her hair.

Scott looked at Sara.

Sara saw Nightmare through the window, smirking at her.

"Sara, what's wrong?" Scott asked. When he walked to the window, his eyes widened.

Sara's eyes were widened as well.

"Guys, what's going on?" Vincent asked. Scott looked at Vincent, frightened. He was curious so he looked out the window and gasped. "It's the same guy I met in my dream!" He thought. Nightmare saw Vincent and his smirk turned into a scowl.

Sara closed the window and shut the curtains. "We need to watch our backs for now on. 'Cause Nightmare can be very sneaky." She said.

"Yeah." Vincent said. "Let's go back to our rooms." Scott said. Vincent nodded and the others went back to their rooms. Scott shut the curtains. "There. That way, Mr. Crazy Guy won't watch us while we sleep." He said. Vincent nodded and sat on the bed. Scott sat next to him and held his hand. "Hey, it's okay. No matter what happens, I'll protect you from whatever Nightmare and the others are planning." He said. Vincent looked at Scott and smiled. "Thank you." He looked at his hand which was intertwined with Scott's. "Um... I want to ask you something." He said. "Of course, Vince. What is it?" Scott asked. "Well... Have we held hands like this before?" Vincent asked. Scott nodded. "Before you lost your memories, we would hold his others' hands all the time. You always liked it when my hand is on yours because it made you feel... safe." Scott answered. Vincent blushed when Scott told him that. Then, all the memories of him and Scott being together came back to him. "I... I remember now... We were... We were lovers..." Vincent said. Scott smiled. "I-I'm glad you remember that now. You know, I was sad that you didn't remember that we were a couple, but I understand that you lost your memories. Now that you remember that we're a couple, it makes me happy." He said. "Scott... I want to say thank you. Thank you for being here for me." Vincent said, smiling. "You're welcome, boyfriend." Scott said. Vincent chuckled. "Hey... Is it okay if we..." He said, blushing. Scott nodded and got closer to Vincent. His eyes closed as their lips touched.

Sara was outside the room. She smiled warmly as she began to walk away.

Scott and Vincent are in total bliss. Everything that happened earlier tonight... All of that went away as they kissed. Scott pulled Vincent closer to him as he got deeper in the kiss. Vincent ran his hand through Scott's hair as he explored Vincent's mouth with his tongue. "Mmm... Mmm..." Vincent moaned as Scott got on top of him. Just as things are starting to get good... Aiden suddenly walked into the room. He stared wide-eyed at the sight of Vincent and Scott making out. They both pulled away and looked at Aiden. "A-Aiden!" Vincent said, blushing madly. "Ah! Oh, sorry! I didn't mean to interrupt your guys' quality time!" Aiden said, scratching the back of head in embarrassment. "W-What are you doing here?" Vincent asked. "I just wanted to check up on you to see if you're okay." Aiden said. "Oh. Um... Thanks." Vincent said. "You're welcome. Now, I'm gonna leave you two alone now." Aiden said as he exited the room. The two of them looked at each other before Scott got off of him. "Um, sorry, Vince. That was... Uh..." Scott tried to find the words, but Vincent shushed him and kissed his cheek. "It's okay, Scott. I... liked it." Vincent said, smiling a little. Scott smiled too. "So, Vince, how about tomorrow, we can explore the lodge to maybe regain some more memories." Scott said. "Yeah. I like that." Vincent said, kissing Scott's nose. Scott chuckled. "Well, good night, Vince." He said as he tucked himself to bed. "Good night." Vincent said as he did the same.

Aiden walked down the hallway, still thinking about what he just saw. Vincent and Scott making out in front of him. He leaned against the wall, breathing heavily. "Why...?" He clenched his fists as he gritted his teeth. "Why doesn't he remember that I love him? Is Scott such a great guy to you?" He thought. "Why can't you understand my feelings?" Tears streamed down his face and dripped onto the carpet.
