Chapter 19

Puppet flew over to Vincent and checked his pulse, hoping he was still alive.

Vincent's pulse was slow and he was barely breathing. Scott wasted no time and started mouth to mouth.

Sara began to shake, she began to pray for Vincent to stay alive.

Eventually, Vincent's breathing became normal. Mike looked at Puppet. He was expecting her to heal Vincent.

Puppet's hands began to glow as she began to heal Vincent, making the wound close.

Scott looked at Puppet and smiled. "Thank you." He said.

Puppet smiled back. "You're welcome, Scott." She said.

Scott gently held Vincent's hand. He groaned and opened his eyes, his eyes now back to his original blue color. "Are you okay?" Scott asked. Vincent smiled a little and nodded.

Sara sighed in relief. "Thank god..." She said.

Vincent sat up and hugged Scott. Scott hugged back and smiled.

Sara looked at the moon. "It's finally over, is it?" She asked.

Mike looked up at the moon and nodded.

Sara sighed in relief, but blood began to come out of her head from the lack of her power. She put a hand on her head, her eyes now losing their sight. She stumbled and fell off the edge.

"Sara!!" Mike caught her and pulled her back up.

Sara was unconscious, blood slowly running down her head.

Mike took out his handkerchief and applied pressure to Sara's head wound.

Sara weakly opened her eyes, purple tears running down her cheeks.

"Are you okay?" Mike asked, concerned.

"Y-Yeah, I'm alright." Sara said.

Mike started to pet her head in a comforting manner.

Sara buried her face in Mike's chest.

"Shh... It's okay... It's okay..." Mike whispered into her ear.

Sara snuggled her head on Mike's chest, trying not to cry.

"It's okay... Let it all out... I'm here..." Mike said.

Sara then began to cry.

Mike continued to stroke her hair and whisper comforting words into her ear.

Sara continued to cry, she then began to calm down.

"Feeling better?" Mike asked.

Sara nodded.

Mike smiled and kissed her forehead.

Sara blushed but smiled warmly.

The others then heard some people busting through the door. They looked and saw that it was Eric, Chuck, Guy and Clay.

"Are you guys okay? We were getting worried." Eric said.

"Yeah. We're okay." Mike said. Guy looked at Vincent and saw that he still had blood stains on his clothes. "Whoa, dude, Vincent, are you okay?!" He asked, frantically. "Yeah. I'm alright. I just had a little fight with The Thing, that's all." He said. "Are you sure? Your shirt has a lot of blood on it." Chuck said, concerned. "I'm sure. You don't have to worry about me." Vincent said. Chuck still looked at him, concerned. "Here. Let me see." Chuck said as he took a closer look. The blood has dried up, leaving a dark stain in the purple shirt. He felt Vincent's stomach for a wound, but he didn't find anything. "What...? Vince... You don't have a wound." Chuck said. "Well... I had some help and let's just say it healed pretty fast." Vincent said, looking at Puppet.

Eric looked at Puppet. "Thank you." He said. Puppet smiled warmly. "You're welcome." She said. A white aura began to surround her as she looked at Vincent and the others. "Well, I guess this is goodbye for now. But, I'll forever be Sara's soul, so, I'll always be around." Puppet said.

The others watched as Puppet disappeared. Guy was watching the whole scene in shock. He didn't know how to react to anything that just happened. The fact that some person healed Vincent or the fact that he was starting to accept this as normal. Chuck noticed and lightly bonked Guy's head.

Sara looked at the moon once again. "So, what do we do now?" She asked.

"I don't know..." Chuck said. Scott looked at Vincent and extended his hand. "Do you need help getting up?" He asked as he stood up. Vincent took his hand and he pulled him up. Vincent started to stumble.

Sara weakly got up. "Are you okay, Vincent?" She asked.

"Y-Yeah. My legs are just a bit shaky." Vincent replied.

Well, make sure you don't fall off the edge." Sara said.

Vincent nodded. He leaned on Scott's shoulder for support and everyone walked downstairs to the first floor.

Sara rested her head on the side of Stacey's shoulder as she yawned.

"Well, do you guys want to stay over at my apartment? That way, Vincent can get some rest." Chuck asked.

"Sure." Sara said.

"Are you sure, Chuck? I really don't want to be bothering you." Vincent said. "Oh no, you're not bothering me at all." Chuck said, giving him a smile.

Sara snuggled her head on Stacey's shoulder and closed her eyes, now falling asleep.

"Alright. I'll give you guys a ride." Guy said. Stacey nodded and picked Sara up. Everyone got in Eric's car and drove to Chuck's apartment.

Eric looked out the window, feeling his hair flow through the wind.

Guy looked at Vincent, who is resting his head on Scott's shoulder.

Sara snuggled her head on Stacey's chest.

Soon, they arrived at Chuck's apartment. They all got out of the car as Scott carried Vincent, who was sleeping and Stacey carried Sara.

Eric smiled at them.

Chuck opened the door and let the others inside. Scott went into the living room and laid Vincent down on the couch.

Eric got a blanket and wrapped Vincent in the blanket to keep him warm.

Scott smiled and held Vincent's hand. "You guys hungry? I can make you guys something." Chuck said.

"I'm fine, thanks." Eric said.

"We're good." Mike said.

Sara once again snuggled her head on Stacey's chest, her pink hair falling off her shoulders.

Vincent slowly opened his eyes.

Eric noticed. "Vincent, you okay?" He asked.

Vincent nodded.

Eric smiled a little. "That's good." He said.

"I'm thirsty. Can I get some water?" Vincent asked.

"Sure." Eric said.

Vincent started to get up, but Chuck stopped him. "I'll get it for you." He said. Vincent slowly nodded and laid back down.

Sara shivered and slowly opened her eyes, she yawned a little.

"Hey." Stacey said softly.

"Hey..." Sara said.

"How are you feeling?" Stacey asked.

"I'm fine..." Sara replied.

Stacey hugged her.

Sara hugged back.

"I know this is a really stressful night, but Vincent's okay. He defeated The Thing and everything's going to go back to normal." Stacey said.

"I hope so..." Sara said.

Stacey rubbed her back. Then, Chuck came back with a glass of water. "Here you go, Vince." He said as he gave Vincent the glass. "Thank you." He said, smiling. Chuck looked at Vincent's clothes as he drank the water.

Sara buried her face in Stacey's shoulder.

Stacey stroked her hair.

Sara blushed a little but she closed her eyes.

"Do you wanna change your clothes? I have some spare ones in my closet. I think they'll fit you." Chuck said.

Sara looked at her clothes, that was ripped from the battle they had, and nodded.

"Sure." Vincent said as he put the glass on the coffee table. "Alright. The clothes are in my room." Chuck said.

"Alright." Sara said.

Vincent and Sara walked upstairs to Chuck's room. He checked the closet where some clothes were hanging on the coat hangers.

Sara grabbed some clothes from the closet and walked in the bathroom to get changed.

Vincent looked in the drawers and saw a red t-shirt and dark blue jeans. He took them out and saw a purple flannel jacket hanging on the coat hanger. He took it off the hanger and changed out of his blood stained clothes. He looked at himself in the mirror and looked at his stomach. He can still feel The Thing's sword pierce him. He shuddered. He did not want to think about it. He changed into his new clothes and sat on the edge of the bed.

Sara went out of the bathroom, wearing a lavender t-shirt along with black jeans, and a pastel pink jacket. She noticed the look on Vincent's face. "Vincent, you okay?" She asked.

"Y-Yeah... I'm fine... I'm just... thinking..." Vincent quietly said.

Sara walked over to Vincent and hugged him. "Hey, The Thing is gone now..... The battle is over..." She said.

Vincent hugged back. He let a few tears run down his face.

Sara rubbed Vincent's back.

Vincent sniffled and wiped the tears from his eyes.

"You okay?" Sara asked.

Vincent nodded.

Sara smiled a little at Vincent. "That's good." She said.

Vincent smiled back. He looked at Sara's outfit. "You look really pretty." He said.

Sara smiled warmly. "Thank you." She said.

"You're welcome." Vincent said.

Sara smiled.

Vincent smiled back. "We should probably go downstairs. We don't want to keep everyone waiting." He said.

Sara nodded.

The two of them went downstairs where Eric, Chuck and Guy are waiting in the living room.

"Hey, guys." Sara said.

"Hey. You two look nice." Guy said, smiling. Vincent smiled back. "Thanks." He said. Chuck looked at Vincent. "Vincent... I've got to tell you something." He said. "Hmm? What is it?" Vincent asked. "Well, while you two were upstairs, the police station called Eric. He told me that the police found the fangirls and they put them in custody. Sandra's visiting them right now and she requested the fangirls to apologize." Chuck explained.

"Really?" Sara asked.

Chuck nodded.

"I see. Well, I guess that's a good thing." Sara said.

They then heard a knock at the door.

Sara looked at the door and went over to it, she grabbed the handle of the door and opened it.

Sandra and the other fangirls are at the door.

"Hey Sandra." Sara said.

"Hey. Can we come in?" Sandra asked.

"Sure." Sara said.

Sandra and the fangirls walked inside the apartment into the living room where Vincent was. Chuck, Guy, Eric and Clay all gave the fangirls cold stares while Sandra bowed her head. "I'm sorry. My girls were out of control." She said.

"It's alright, Sandra. At least they learned their lesson." Sara said.

"I'm truly sorry, Vincent. This was my negligence as a manager. I never thought these girls would do something so violent." Sandra said. "It's because Aiden pays so much attention to him." One of the fangirls said. Aiden glared at them. "So what if I do?" He said in a loud voice that shocked the fangirls. "Do you intend to get rid of anyone who comes near me? Are your eyes so clouded, you can no longer tell the difference between friendship and romance? Apologize properly." The girls bowed their heads. "We're sorry." They all said.

"We accept your apology." Sara said, crossing her arms.

Vincent still looked at the fangirls, uncertain.

Sara was actually uncertain as well. She looked at Vincent.

"Alright. I accept your apology. But, the next time you try to hurt me or my friends..." He narrowed his eyes at them. "You're gonna regret messing with me." He said, his eyes turning purple for a second. The girls shivered and nodded. "Good."

Sara smiled a little. "So, what should we do now?" She asked.

Vincent looked at the fangirls who were walking out the door. He looked at Sandra.

Sara looked at Sandra as well.

"You guys hungry?" Sandra asked.

Sara nodded.

"Well... I can make you guys something. My fridge is kinda low on food." Chuck said.

"We can go to the store if you want." Sara said.

"Oh no, I can still make something. I'm sure we can salvage whatever's left in the fridge." Chuck said.

"Alright." Sara said.

Chuck went into the kitchen and opened the fridge. The only things that are in the fridge are a couple of oranges and apples, frozen boxes of pizza and a couple cups of chocolate pudding. "Well, at least there IS something edible in this fridge." Chuck thought. He took the pudding cup and closed the fridge. "Hey, Vince. Do you want some chocolate pudding?" Chuck asked.

"Did you just say chocolate pudding?" Sara asked.

"Yep. There's a couple cups left in the fridge." Chuck said.

"Can I have one?" Sara asked.

"Sure." Chuck said, smiling.

"Yay!" Sara said.

Chuck chuckled as he watched Sara go over to the fridge and getting the chocolate pudding. "Are you sure you checked to see if it's not expired or have any mold in it?" Guy asked. "Yep. It's still fresh." Chuck said. "I don't know, man..." Guy said nervously, rubbing his arm.

Sara looked at the pudding to see no mold. "There's no mold in the pudding." She said.

"But, what about Vincent?" Guy asked.

"I don't know... To be honest with you..." Sara said.

Chuck gave Vincent the pudding cup. "Thank you." Vincent said. Guy still looked at Vincent, nervous. He was afraid that Vincent might get sick. Vincent opened it and checked to see if there was any mold in it. Luckily, it didn't. "Mine's good too." He said. Guy breathed a sigh of relief.

"That's good." Sara said.

Vincent smiled and started to eat his pudding.

Sara started to eat her pudding as well.

"How much do we have left on the fridge?" Eric asked. "Hmm... There's a couple apples and oranges and frozen boxes of pizza." Chuck said. "Hmm. Had to go food shopping anyway. Eric here is planning something special." Guy said as he grabbed his car keys.

"Really?" Sara asked.

"Yep." Guy said. He looked at Vincent. "You wanna come along? You can pick out something you like." He said. "Nah, it's fine. I'm okay with my pudding." Vincent replied. "Okay. But, I have one question to ask you and the others." Eric said. "Hm? What is it?" Vincent asked. "Um... Do you like Asian food?" Eric asked.

"I do." Sara said.

"Yeah. I remember me and Scott trying it once. It was really good." Vincent said.

"I see." Sara said.

"Alright. Anyone in the mood for some Asian food?" Eric asked. Everyone raised their hands.

"Can I come though?" Sara asked.

"Sure. You can come." Guy said.

"Alright." Sara said.

"Okay. Are you guys gonna be okay all by yourselves?" Chuck asked. "Yep. We'll be fine." Mike said.

"Well, see you guys later." Sara said.

Sara, Guy and Eric then went out of the apartment.

Scott sat next to Vincent while Vincent continued to eat his pudding.

Sara felt the wind flow through her hair as she looked at the sky. She just hoped the others would be okay on their own.

Eric looked up at the moon. He knew that The Thing was dead and that everything will go back to normal. But, he still felt uneasy. Like... He wasn't completely gone.

Sara looked at Eric and put a hand on his shoulder. "Eric...Are you okay?" She asked.

Eric looked at Sara. "Yeah... I'm fine." He said.

"Are you sure? You look uneasy." Sara said.

"Yeah... I'm sure..." Eric said, looking down. The uneasy feeling continued to grow.

"Eric, you can tell us what's wrong." Sara said.

"I-I just... feel uneasy." Eric said.

"Uneasy about what?" Sara asked.

"I don't know... I know that The Thing is gone and that everything is going back to normal, but... I can't help but have this uneasy feeling... It's like he's still around." Eric said.

"Hey, The Thing is gone. He's dead. Everything is going back to normal. He's gone. He's not here anymore." Eric looked at Sara.

Sara hugged Eric.Eric hugged back. Guy hugged Eric too.

"The Thing's gone now... It's all over..." Sara said.

"Alright..." Eric said.

"Come on, we should get going..." Sara said.Eric nodded and the others continued to walk.

Sara looked at the sky as she removed her flannel jacket and wrapped the sleeves of the jacket around her waist.

Eric felt a cold breeze blow past him and he shivered. "Are you cold, Eric?" Guy asked. "Um... A little bit." Eric said. Guy took off his jacket and put it on Eric. He chuckled. "Guy, I already have a jacket." He said. "I know. I just want you to be warm." Guy said.

Sara looked at Eric and Guy and smiled warmly.

"Uh... T-Thank you." Eric said, blushing a little. "You're welcome, dude." Guy said, kissing Eric's cheek. Eric's cheeks turned red.

Sara smirked at them as she crossed her arms.

Eric looked at Sara and his face turned red.

"Hue hue hue!" Sara said.

"Oh my god..." Eric covered his face with his hands while Guy smirked.

Sara giggled.

"You know, Eric, you're cute when you blush." Guy said. Steam started to come out of Eric's face as he blushed more.

Sara smiled at them. "I ship you guys!" She said.

Guy chuckled.

Sara giggled.

"Y-You guys...!!" Eric stuttered.

Sara smiled warmly.

Eric buried his face in Guy's chest.

Sara giggled.

"L-Let's just... get to the store." Eric said.

"Alright." Sara giggled.

And with that, the others continued to walk and eventually arrived at the store.

"Wait. Did we ask what the others want from here?" Sara asked.

Guy suddenly stopped. "Oh... Oops." He said. Eric facepalmed.

"I'll call them." Sara said as she dialed Vincent's number, and waited for him to answer.

Soon, Vincent answered. "Hello?"

"Hey, Vince. We forgot to ask what you wanted from the store. What do you guys want?" Sara asked.

"Oh, I don't need anything right now. Um, Scott, do you want anything?" Vincent asked.

"Eggrolls if they have any." Scott replied.

Vincent chuckled. "Okay." He said. "He wants eggrolls."

"Alright. Do the others want anything?" Sara asked.

"Hold on..." He covered the phone with his hand. "Do you guys want anything?" He asked the others.

"Wait, put the phone on speaker so I can hear everybody!" Sara said.

Vincent put his cellphone on speakerphone. "What do you guys want at the store?" He asked again.

"Fried rice." Mike replied.

"Mike wants fried rice." Vincent said.

"Alright. Anyone else? Or is that it?" Sara asked.

"Um... Can you get me some donuts?" Fritz asked.

"Sure!" Sara said.

Fritz smiled. "Can we get some hamburgers so we can have a barbecue?" Aiden asked.

Sara giggled. "Sure!" She said.

"Anyone else?" Vincent asked.

"Jeremy, Kevin, Anthony, you guys want anything?" Scott asked.

"Nah, we're good." Kevin said.

"You guys sure?" Scott asked.

"We're sure." Jeremy said.

"Alright." Scott said.

"Alright, I think that's everything." Vincent said.

"Alright. See you guys later." Sara said.

"Bye." Vincent said.

Sara then hung up and put her phone in her pocket. "So, Scott wants some eggrolls. Mike wants fried rice. Fritz wants some donuts. And Aiden needs hamburgers so we can make a barbecue." She said to Guy and Eric.

"Alright." Guy said while writing the items on a sheet of paper.

Sara looked up at the sky as she felt the wind flow through her hair.

"So... Shall we go inside?" Eric asked.

Sara looked at Eric and nodded in reply.

"Alright. Let's go." Guy said. And with that, the others went inside.

Sara looked around as she put her hair in a bun.

"Alright... Burgers... Burgers..." Guy muttered as he looked around.

"Donuts... Donuts..." Sara said as she looked around for the donuts.

Someone tapped her on the shoulder.

Sara looked behind to see who tapped on her shoulder.

It was man with long, black hair tied into a ponytail and red eyes. He was holding a box of donuts. "Were you looking for this?" He asked.

"Yes, I was. Thank you." Sara said, taking the box of donuts. But, she looked at the man and was... Strangely familiar to her. "You look.... Familiar to me for some reason. I'm sorry if this sounds weird. But, can you please tell me your name?" She asked.

"Oh, uh, I'm Axel." The man simply introduced himself.

Sara's eyes widened in surprise, she felt tears run down her face.

Axel hugged her.

Sara hugged back.

"I missed you so much. How have you been?" Axel asked.

"I missed you too. And I've been good. How have you been? It's been so long..." Sara said.

"I've been good." Axel answered.

Sara smiled warmly. "That's good." She said.

Axel smiled back.

"I still can't believe I finally get to see you. After so long..." Sara sniffled as she wiped away her tears.

"Yep. It has been a long time." Axel said, smiling.

Sara smiled warmly.

"So, what are you doing here?" Axel asked.

"Me and my friends are only here to buy some stuff here." Sara replied.

"Cool. Can I help you?" Axel asked.

Sara smiled. "Sure." She said.

Axel smiled back. "Great. So, what do you need?" He asked.

"Well, we found the donuts thanks to you. Now, we need to find the eggrolls, fried rice, and the hamburgers for a barbecue." Sara replied.

"Hmm... Alright." Axel said.

"We should go find the eggrolls." Sara said.

Axel nodded.

Then, Sara and Axel began to find the eggrolls.

"Where do you think the eggrolls will be kept at?" Axel asked.

"I don't know... We might have to keep looking to find out." Sara replied.

Axel kept looking until he found a box of eggrolls on the shelf in the frozen food aisle.

"You found anything?" Sara asked.

"Yep. I found a box." Axel said.

Sara smiled. "Sweet." She said.

Axel gave the box to Sara.

Sara took the box of eggrolls and smiled at Axel. "Thanks, man. Still, I am very, very, VERY happy to see you again!" She said.

Axel smiled back. "Me too. I'm happy to see you too." He said.

Sara smiled warmly, until she noticed Guy and Eric walking towards them.

"Hey, Sara. We got the ingredients for the Asian Beef." Guy said before the two men stopped. "Who is that?" Guy asked Sara.

"Guys, this is Axel. I used to work with him at Doug's and Rachel's Diner. Axel, this is Guy and Eric." Sara said.

"Hello. It's nice to meet you two." Axel said. "Hi." "Hey dude." Eric and Guy both said.

"Anyway, me and Axel found the donuts and eggrolls. Now, we just need to find the hamburgers for the barbecue." Sara said.

"Alright. The hamburgers are in the frozen food aisle. We already got the buns and the condiments." Guy said.

"Alright. Sweet." Sara said.

"Don't you worry, guys. I'll get the hamburgers and we'll be all done." Axel said as he marched to the aisle.

"Alright." Sara said.

Axel looked around for the patties. Eventually, he found them on the shelf. "There we go." He said as he got the package.

"You found them?" Sara asked.

Axel nodded and put the package in the cart.

"Awesome, I guess that's everything." Sara got out her wallet. "Want me to pay for it?" She asked.

"It's alright. I can pay for it." Eric said. "Oh, don't worry. I'll pay." Axel said.

"You sure?" Sara asked.

"I'm sure." Axel said.

"Alright." Sara said.

The others took the groceries to the checkout counter and Axel paid for it. Even though he knew Sara had enough money, it's common courtesy to pay things for the girl.

Sara looked out the window, her pink hair glowing through the moonlight.

"Do you want me to carry the bags?" Eric asked.

"Nah, I'll carry them." Sara said, picking up the bags.

"Alright. You can carry some of the bags. We'll carry the rest." Axel said.

"Alright." Sara said.

Everyone carried the bags out of the store and Eric looked up at the night sky.

Sara looked at Eric, then looked up at the night sky as well.

"It's pretty beautiful, isn't it?" Eric asked.

Sara nodded in reply.

"Hey, Eric? Is it alright if me and Chuck eat with you?" Guy asked. Eric blushed. "Um... sure." He said.

Sara smiled at them. "Well, aren't you guys cute?" She asked.

Eric blushed more while Guy chuckled.Sara giggled.

"Well, I have to agree with Sara. You two are pretty cute." Axel said. "Axel!!" Eric shouted.

Sara giggled at them.

"W-We should probably get home. The others are probably starving." Eric quickly said.

Sara nodded.

The others walked back to Chuck's apartment. Eric looked up at the sky once more. He still had this uneasy feeling, but he ignored it and continued to walk.

Sara looked up at the sky once more as well, seeing the stars shining. She was happy to see Axel again.

Once they got back home, Vincent gave them a big hug. He had a kitty smile on his face.

Sara giggled and hugged back.

"Well, aren't you being adorable, Vinny." Scott said, smirking. Vincent chuckled. "Sorry. I just felt like I need to hug someone." He said. Scott hugged him and nuzzled his head in Vincent's shoulder.

Sara smiled at them.

"Anyways, we got the food!" Guy announced, holding the bag up.

"Yep, thanks to Axel!" Sara said, nudging Axel's arm with her elbow gently.

"Hey, dude! Nice to see you again!" Mike said. "It's nice to see you guys too." Axel said.

Sara smiled at them.

"Kay. Let me just whip out the cookbook so we can get cookin'!" Guy said.

Sara laughed a little.

Eric, Chuck and Guy marched to the kitchen while Vincent laid his head on Scott's lap.

Sara looked at Scott and Vincent, and smiled warmly.

Scott smiled and kissed Vincent. Vincent chuckled and kissed him back.

Sara then did a kitty smile. Inside her head, she was secretly fangirl squealing.

Vincent wrapped his arms around Scott's neck as he got deeper in the kiss. Scott sat him up as he ran his hand through his hair.

Sara looked at Axel, a dorky smile on her face, meaning. "These two are just adorable!"

Axel chuckled and nodded. Vincent and Scott broke away, a string of saliva connecting their mouths as they tried to catch their breath.

Sara then covered her nose, trying not to nosebleed.

Vincent and Scott nuzzled their noses. Axel got a tissue and gave it to Sara.

Sara covered her nose with the tissue.

The two men looked at Sara and blushed.

Sara slowly buried her face in Stacey's chest, her face fully red.

Stacey hugged back as Vincent buried his face in Scott's chest.

"That was the most beautiful Yaoi moment I've ever seen in my life." Sara said.

Stacey giggled. "Well, what did I miss?" Guy asked, poking his head through the door.

"Oh, nothing. Just the love birds being adorable." Sara said.

Guy looked at Scott and Vincent and smirked. "Alright." He said. "They'd better not be getting too rowdy in my room!" Chuck said.

"Oh my god, Chuck!" Sara said.

Scott and Vincent both blushed while Eric elbowed Chuck's side.

Sara giggled.

"It's a cool apartment." Axel said to Chuck. "Thanks, dude." Chuck said.

"I agree. It is a cool apartment." Sara said in agreement.

"Yep. My friends and Clay helped me pay the rent." Chuck said.

"I see." Sara said.

Chuck smiled. Then, a bright light engulfed the kitchen for a brief moment followed by Eric's yell. "Are you okay, Eric?!" Chuck asked as he ran back into the kitchen. "Yeah! I'm fine! I just got a little surprised by the sake." Eric said.

"You sure you're alright?" Sara asked.

"Yep. I'm sure. I think I'm beginning to like cooking." Eric said. "Make sure you don't burn down Chuck's apartment while you're cooking." Clay called from another room. "Don't worry, sir. He won't." Chuck said.

"He won't, Clay. It may be his first time cooking. But, I know he won't burn the apartment down." Sara said.

"Um, actually, this is my second time cooking." Eric said.

"Oh, I didn't know. Sorry." Sara said.

"It's okay." Eric said, chuckling.

Sara smiled a little as she crossed her arms.

"So, what exactly happened during your first time cooking?" Mike asked. "Um... Well... The first time, I sort of... set my apartment on fire." Eric said.

"Oh my goodness... Really?" Sara asked.

"Yeah. It was a good thing my friends are there to help me. If they weren't there, things would have gone pretty bad." Eric said.

"I'm glad your friends were there to help you." Sara said.

Eric nodded and looked at Guy and Chuck. He smiled at them.

Sara smiled warmly at them.

"Anyways, we should go back to preparing the dinner. You guys can hang out in the living room." Chuck said.

"Alright." Sara said.

Eric waved before he and his friends went back to making the Asian Beef. Everyone else went into the living room and Mike plopped on the couch next to Scott and Vincent.

Sara rested her head on the side of Stacey's shoulder.

Stacey wrapped her arm around Sara's waist.

Sara blushed a little.

"Cutie." Stacey said.

Sara blushed even more.

Stacey giggled and kissed her forehead. Mike looked at the two girls and smiled.

Sara smiled a little.

"Everything okay?" Stacey asked.

"Yeah, everything's fine." Sara replied.

"You sure?" Mike asked.

Sara nodded.

Mike smiled and kissed her cheek.

Sara blushed but smiled.

Mike smiled too. Vincent laid his head on Scott's shoulder and held Aiden's hand.

Sara rested her head on Stacey's chest.

Scott started to pet Vincent's head as he started to sing a lullaby.

"Dream by night, wish by day,

Love begins this way.

Loving starts when open hearts touch and stay.

Sleep for now, dreaming's how

lover's lives are planned.

Future songs and flying dreams,

hand in hand.

Love it seems made flying dreams

so hearts could soar.

Heaven sent, these wings were meant

to prove, once more...

That love is the key, love is the key..."

Sara smiled at them.

"You and I touch the sky,

the eagle and the dove.

Nightingales, we keep our sails,

filled with love.

And love it seems made flying dreams

to bring you home to me."

The others were watching in awe. Scott's singing was so beautiful.

Sara was smiling warmly at them, she was surprised by Scott's singing as well.

Scott looked at the others and blushed.

Sara giggled.

"G-Guys...!" Scott started to say.

"We're sorry, your voice was awesome though!" Sara said.

Scott blushed even more.

Sara smiled.

Scott smiled back. "Mmm..." Vincent moaned and opened his eyes.

Sara looked at Vincent and smiled.

Vincent smiled back. "Vince? Did you hear me singing?" Scott asked. "Yeah. Your voice is really beautiful." Vincent said. "N-No, mine is not that good. Your singing voice is amazing." Scott said.

Sara smiled at them. "They're so cute!" She thought.

Vincent blushed. "Noooo! Your singing voice is cute!" He said. "No, your singing voice is cute!" Scott said, squishing Vincent's cheeks.

Sara giggled at them.

Aiden turned away. "Why...? He doesn't spend time with me anymore..." He thought. "Anyways, Chuck, is the food done yet?" He asked. "It's almost done." Chuck answered.

Sara looked at Aiden, worried.

Aiden looked at Sara and gave her a reassuring smile.

Sara hugged Aiden.

Aiden was surprised, but he hugged back.

Sara buried her face in Aiden's shoulder.

"Sis, it's alright. I'm happy for Scott and Vincent." Aiden said.

"Are you sure?" Sara asked.

"Yeah. I'm sure." Aiden said. Vincent noticed the look on his face and hugged him. "I'm sorry..." He muttered.

Sara hugged Aiden and Vincent.

"Aiden, I'm really sorry. I didn't have the chance to hang out with you. I feel like a shitty partner for that. I'm so sorry..." Vincent said. "No, Vincent. It's fine. I don't mind you spending more time with Scott." Aiden said. "Aiden, me and Vincent have been talking about you and we agreed for us to go out for dinner after work. Does that sound good?" Scott asked. "A-Are you sure? I really don't want to bother you." Aiden said. "Aiden, you're not bothering us at all. We're really sorry for not spending much time with you." Scott said.

Sara smiled a little at them.

"Guys, seriously, it's fine. You guys can hang out with each other as much as you like. I won't butt in." Aiden said.

"Aiden, you're not going to bother them. You never bother anyone. Go hang out with them." Sara said.

"Sis..." Aiden started to say.

"Aiden, please. Go hang out with them..." Sara said.

Aiden looked at the two men. He really didn't want to bother them. He sighed. "I... I don't know what to do..." He said.

Sara hugged Aiden.

Aiden hugged back. "I love him so much, Sara... I love him... But... Vincent has feelings for Scott... I know he became my boyfriend because he felt sorry for me... He doesn't really love me..." He said.

"He does love you. He loves you and Scott." Sara said.

Aiden sighed. "I know he doesn't. He doesn't even look at me the same way he does for Scott." He said.

"Aiden..." Sara started to say, but she was cut off.

"He doesn't have to be in a relationship with two people at the same time. He can have Scott, no strings attached. I won't let my jealously get in the way of their relationship." Aiden said.

Sara looked at Aiden, a worried look on her face once again.

Aiden was about to get up when he felt Vincent hold his hand. "Aiden... You don't have to leave. I love both you and Scott. I can manage a relationship with you two. You don't see someone having two girlfriends or boyfriends without complications. And I don't want that to happen to us." He said.

Sara nodded.

Aiden opened his mouth to say something, but Vincent kept speaking. "I know what you're gonna say and I'm gonna say it. Yes. I am sure about this. We can make this work. I promise." He said.

Sara nodded once more.

"A-Alright..." Aiden said quietly. Vincent hugged him and started to stroke his hair. Then, he began to sing the same song that Scott was singing before.

"Dream by night, wish by day.

Love begins this way.

Night's a friend with love to send

each new day.

Bless your heart, bless your soul,

let your dreams come true.

Future songs and flying dreams

wait for you.

Love it seems made flying dreams so hearts could sour.

Heaven-sent, these wings were meant

to prove once more

That love is the key..."

Aiden started to sob.

Sara hugged Aiden.

Aiden buried his face in Vincent's chest and sobbed, soaking his shirt with his tears.

Sara rubbed Aiden's back.

Aiden still continued to sob. "Shh... It's okay... It's okay..." Vincent whispered.

Sara looked at Aiden with a sad look.

Aiden continued to sob, but after a while, he began to calm down. "Feeling better?" Vincent asked. Aiden nodded and the older male smiled. "That's good." Vincent said and he gave Aiden a kiss.

Sara smiled at them.

Aiden blushed. Scott looked at Aiden and motioned for him to come here. He nodded and walked over to Scott. Scott got closer to Aiden and kissed him.

Sara squealed as she smiled like a dork.

Scott slowly pulled away and smiled. Aiden's cheeks were red.

Sara covered her nose and buried her face in Stacey's chest.

Stacey giggled and hugged her.

Sara hugged back as her face was crimson red. Blood now running down his nose.

Stacey felt blood on her shirt and jumped a bit. She grabbed a tissue and gave it to Sara.

Sara put the tissue on her nose. "Sorry about you shirt, Stace..." She said.

"Oh, it's fine." Stacey said.

"You sure?" Sara asked.

"I'm sure." Stacey said.

"Alright." Sara said.

Stacey smiled and zipped her jacket up.

Sara rested her head on Stacey's shoulder.

Stacey petted Sara's head.

Sara blushed a little.

Stacey smiled.

Sara smiled warmly.

"Guys! The food's ready!" Chuck called from the kitchen.

"Alright!" Sara said.

The others walked to the kitchen and sat at the table.

"Man, I can already feel my stomach rumbling already..." Sara thought.

Scott smiled as he saw Eric serve the Asian Beef. "Ah, Asian Beef, right?" He asked. "Yep." Chuck said. "Me and Vincent had this when we went to China. I love Asian food!" Scott said. "Oh, well... Do not get your hopes up. This is probably the second time that I've cooked... and I would rather not talk about the first time." Eric said. "Do you want some eggrolls on the side?" Aiden asked. "Yeah, sure." Scott replied.

"Can I have some eggrolls too?" Sara asked.

"Sure thing, sis." Aiden said. He picked up the tongs and gave Sara an eggroll.

"Thanks." Sara said, smiling warmly at Aiden.

Aiden smiled back. Vincent looked at the Asian Beef and a memory came back to him. He and Scott are visiting China and they are treated to a nice meal of Asian Beef.

Sara looked at Vincent. "Did you recover another memory?" She asked.

Vincent nodded. "I remember... me and Scott going to China together and we had Asian Beef like this." He said.

"I see..." Sara said, smiling warmly.

Vincent smiled back.

Sara than looked out the window, she felt her head hurting a little. But, she just shook it off and took a bite out of an eggroll.

Mike noticed. "Hey. Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm alright." Sara said.

"You sure?" Mike asked.

Sara nodded.

"Alright." Mike said as he continued to eat his food.

Sara took another bite of the eggroll.

Vincent looked out the window.

Sara looked at Vincent. "Vince, you okay?" She asked.

Vincent nodded. "Yeah. I'm okay." He said.

"Alright, I'm just making sure." Sara said.

Vincent looked at his food. "I'm worried about Nightmare. Is he okay?" He asked.

"I'm worried too. Do you want me to go check on him?" Sara asked.

Vincent nodded.

"Alright. I'll be right back." Sara said, she got up from her chair and walked out of the dining room. She looked around for Nightmare. "Nightmare?" She called out.

Nightmare was sitting on the edge of Chuck's bed, holding his head tightly. "Ugh... My head..." He groaned.

Sara walked in Chuck's room and saw Nightmare. "Nightmare, you okay?" She asked, sounding worried.

Nightmare looked at Sara. "Ugh... Sara...?" He asked.

"Are you okay, Nightmare?" Sara asked.

"Yeah... Just... My head hurts a lot..." Nightmare groaned.

"Do you want me to get you some medicine?" Sara asked.

Nightmare nodded.

"Alright. I'll be right back." Sara said as she got up from the bed, and went out of the room. She went over to the couch and grabbed her purse. She reached in her purse and got what seemed to be Tylenol. She walked back in the room and got one pill from the bottle. "Here." She said, giving Nightmare the pill.

"Thanks." Nightmare said.

"No problem." Sara said.

Nightmare got a glass of water and took the pill.

Sara looked at Nightmare with a worried look on her face.

Nightmare didn't understand why his head was hurting so much. "Hey... Sara?" He asked.

"Yes?" Sara asked.

"Have your friends... have headaches like this?" Nightmare asked.

"Well, Aiden got one, one time. But, I get them a lot when I use my power too much." Sara said.

"Oh. I see." Nightmare said.

Sara looked out the window. "I'm so glad The Thing is finally gone..." She said.

Nightmare's headache started to subside.

Sara looked at Nightmare. "Are you feeling better, Nightmare?" She asked.

Nightmare nodded. "My head is still throbbing, but I'm okay." He said.

Sara hugged Nightmare.

Nightmare hugged back.

"I hope you're doing okay, Nightmare." Sara said.

Nightmare smiled.

Sara smiled back.

"Hey. Is everything okay, guys?" Chuck called from downstairs.

"Yeah." Sara called back.

"Okay. Well, me, Eric and Guy are gonna go to sleep. You guys can use the guest bedroom." Chuck said.

"Alright." Sara said.

Nightmare looked at Sara. "Are you tired?" He asked.

Sara nodded in reply.

Scott, Vincent and the others walked into the room and the two men laid on the bed next to each other. Vincent noticed Nightmare and smiled. "Hey. Do you want to sleep with us?" He asked. "No, it's okay. I'm fine with sleeping on the floor. Besides, I don't want to ruin your guys' quality time." Nightmare replied. "It's okay. We don't mind." Scott said.

Sara nodded. She walked out of the room and looked at Chuck. "Is there another guest room here?" She asked.

"Well, there is another one. You guys can use that." Chuck replied. "Okay. I just gotta ask you something... How can you afford an apartment this large?" Mike asked.

"Actually yes. I want to know that too." Sara said.

"Well, my friends and my boss help me pay the rent." Chuck said.

"I see." Sara said.

"Yep. I know it's a pretty fancy apartment, but I want to make it presentable for guests too." Chuck said.

"I see. That's very smart." Sara said, smiling warmly.

Chuck chuckled and smiled back. Then, he felt a pair of arms wrap around his waist. He looked behind him and saw Eric, nuzzling his head in his shoulder.

Sara smiled at them.

"Well, we'd better get to bed. You guys make yourselves comfortable." Guy said. "Okay. Good night, you three." Stacey said, smirking.

"Good night." Sara said.

The three men waved to the others before they went to Chuck's room. The rest of the gang went over to the guest bedroom while Aiden, Mike and Sara looked on. Aiden looked at Scott and Vincent, who were cuddling with each other. The brunette looked at him and patted the spot next to him.

Sara snuggled her head against the side of Mike's shoulder.

Mike wrapped his arm around Sara's waist as Aiden laid in bed beside Vincent. "So... Where are we sleeping?" Mike asked.

Sara looked at Mike. "That's the same question I thought." She said.

"Well, there is still some room on the bed, so you can sleep with us." Scott said.

"Alright." Sara said.

Mike laid on the bed next to Scott.

Sara laid on the bed next to Mike, snuggling her head against his chest.

Aiden turned off the light and snuggled his head in the pillow. Vincent snuggled his head on Scott's shoulder, smiling warmly. He was about to doze off when he heard some noises coming from Chuck's room. He listened more closely and found out that it was moaning. Then, he heard Eric yelp. "Ahh!" He could tell that it was a moan of pleasure and he smiled. "I can tell that they're having a good time." He thought.

Sara was secretly smirking while hearing the sounds from Chuck's room. But, her smirk was hidden in Mike's chest.

*A few hours later*

Eric, Chuck and Guy were sleeping soundly in Chuck's bed when Eric heard footsteps. He groaned and sat up. "Mmm... Eric...? What's up, man?" Guy asked. "Guy... I think I heard footsteps." Eric said. "What?" Guy looked at the clock. "Who would be up at 3 in the morning?" He asked. "I don't know." Eric said, uncertain. "They're probably just getting a midnight snack or something." Guy said. "No... I feel like..." He stopped as he listened to the footsteps. He heard the door to the guest room opening and closing. "Guys... We should check to see what's going on." He said. Guy sat up and looked at the door. "Yeah. We should." He said.

After he, Eric and Chuck got dressed and got their weapons, they all peeked through the door. Then, they saw a familiar figure walk out of the guest room carrying Vincent. "Wait a minute... Is Nightmare... carrying... Vincent?" Eric thought.

They all followed Nightmare closely, but quietly. Nightmare walked up the staircase to the rooftop of the apartment. He could feel the wind blowing at his hair as he looked at the city lights. He looked up at the moon that was shining brightly. "What a beautiful moon tonight." He said. Eric immediately noticed that it was not Nightmare's voice. Nightmare looked down at the sleeping Vincent. "Aren't you glad this beautiful scene is the last thing you'll see? After all those warnings I gave you and your friends... You're all so stupid. But Scott, Aiden and Nightmare still loved you." He said. Then, Vincent stirred and opened his eyes. "Nightmare?" He asked in a tired voice. Nightmare just chuckled and smiled. "No." He simply said. Vincent's eyes widened and he looked down. It was a long way down and he started to shake. "Wrong. I am..." Nightmare said in a sinister voice as he brought Vincent closer to the edge. Eric knew he had to do something. He looked to Chuck and Guy and nodded. They all ran through the door and pointed their guns at Nightmare. Nightmare looked at them and he smirked. "Oh, look who it is. It's the three musketeers." He said. "Nightmare... Step away from the edge and put Vincent down." Eric said in a stern voice. "Hmm... Nah~" Nightmare said as he grabbed Vincent by his ankle and held him over the edge. Vincent looked down again and he started to panic. Eric gritted his teeth as he gripped the handle of the gun tightly.

Strings began to wrap around Vincent and they pulled him away from Nightmare, and put him next to Sara, who seemed to have strings coming out of her fingertips. She glared at 'Nightmare' as her eyes were black with white pupils. "Thing... I know it's you..." She muttered.

Eric narrowed his eyes. "I knew something was up with his voice." He said. 'Nightmare' chuckled. "Well then... If you want a fight, you'll get one." He said.

He started to run towards Sara, but Guy shot him three times with his gun.

"Vincent, get behind me." Sara said.

Vincent nodded and got behind Sara. Nightmare looked at them, his red eyes glowing as black blood dripped out from his wounds. Chuck fired his gun at him, but he dodged and kicked Chuck in the face. Eric gasped as the blonde winced and took a few steps back as he dropped his gun. Nightmare smiled and raised his claws to slash at Chuck. Eric pushed him aside and he managed to dodge his attack. He felt the air on his cheek as his claws missed his face.

Sara wrapped 'Nightmare' in the strings and raised him up, then threw him back down to the floor, hardly.

Nightmare coughed up blood as Chuck picked up his gun and walked towards him. He put his foot on 'Nightmare's' chest and pointed his gun at his head. "Hehe... You ain't gonna kill me. My physical body may be gone, but my spirit still lives on." 'Nightmare' said. "So... Are you in Nightmare's body? If so, then I want you to get out! Get out of his body and never mess with us again!" Eric shouted. At that moment, Nightmare grabbed his head tightly and started to groan in pain. "Ngh... Ggh... AaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" As he screamed, the spirit of The Thing came out of Nightmare's body.

Strings wrapped around The Thing's spirit as Sara's eyes narrowed. "Why are you doing this.....? WHY DO YOU WANT TO KILL US SO BADLY?!" She shouted, her eyes now black with red pupils. She tightened the strings around The Thing's spirit.

The Thing flinched as he looked at Sara. "Is it because you still want to prolong Nightmare's life? Well, I'm not gonna let you do that! I promised him that I'll save both him and myself. I'll be willing to break the rules of your little "game"." Vincent said.

Sara tightened the strings around The Thing's spirit once more.

"Heh... Well, let's see what happens, eh?" The Thing said, smirking as he disappeared.

Sara growled as her strings disappeared. She coughed a little.

Eric looked at Sara. "Are you okay?" He asked.

Sara nodded weakly. "Y-Yeah, I'm-" She started to say, until she began to cough violently, making blood escape her lips.

"Sara!" The others exclaimed as Eric ran over to her.

Sara stopped coughing, blood on her hands and running down her mouth. Her eyes widen in fear and shock.

"D-Do you want me to call an ambulance?" Vincent asked.

Sara shook her head, weakly. "N-No... It might be a r-risk to call an ambulance..." She said.

"Yeah. Do you remember what happened yesterday?" A voice from behind told him. Vincent turned around and saw Scott and the others. "Sis! Are you okay?!" Aiden asked.

"Y-Yeah... I'm alright." Sara said.

Vincent looked at Sara, worried while Mike held her close.

"The Thing's spirit..... The Thing's spirit is still alive...... We've gotta destroy his spirit somehow..... Before he possesses Nightmare again.... Or us...." Sara said.

Everyone's eyes widened. "Oh my god..." Guy muttered.

Sara nodded weakly. "W-We gotta stop him..." She said.

"Yeah, but first, we gotta treat your wounds." Mike said. Aiden nodded and the two of them led her back inside the apartment. Vincent looked up at the moon. He couldn't stop thinking about The Thing possessing Nightmare. He closed his fists tightly. "Nightmare, I'll protect you from The Thing... I promise." He said to himself.

Sara rested her head on the side of Mike's shoulder, she was taking everything too much again... Nightmare being controlled by The Thing... Coughing out blood... She felt purple tears run down her cheeks.

Mike looked at Sara, worried. "Sara... Hang in there, please." He thought. The two men got Sara to the guest room and laid her down on the bed.

Sara rested her head against the pillow, she still had purple tears running down her face.

Aiden looked at Sara, worried too. He hoped that The Thing's spirit won't come back. Then, he felt a splitting pain in his head. He gritted his teeth, trying not to cause attention. However, Eric, Scott, Mike, and Vincent noticed. "Hey. A-Are you okay, Aiden?" Scott asked, concerned. "Y-Yeah. I-I'm fine. I-I just need to-" He was cut off when his vision faded to white. He thought he had fainted. But then, he heard his boss call out.

"Call 911! We got an accident here!"

He opened his eyes to see that he was in the pizzeria. A lot of people - specifically parents and children - were running down the halls and security guards telling everyone to stay calm. He looked around and saw a crowd of people at the entrance to the safe room. He instantly grew worried. "Oh no... Is this...?" He ran over, pushing through the crowd to the middle and what he saw made his eyes widen.

Vincent was laying on the floor, not moving. Scott is doing CPR on him to try and get him breathing. Smoke was pouring out of the entrance to the safe room and Mike was holding a fire extinguisher, trying to put the fire out. Aiden covered his mouth in shock. "T-This is when... Vincent fell into a coma..." He thought as he felt tears form in his eyes. Nigel looked at him and appeared to say something, but it was incoherent. Aiden looked to his left and saw Kevin, shaking. His eyes were widened and he was covering his mouth with his hands. Aiden could swear that he had a few tears in his eyes. He looked to his right and saw William instructing everyone to evacuate the pizzeria while the kids were crying, asking William questions. He talked to them in a comforting voice, telling them that Vincent will be okay. Finally, Aiden saw Molly, holding her hands together in prayer.

"Aiden? Aiden!!"

Aiden was snapped back to reality when he felt Scott shake him.

"You saw it too..... Did you, Aiden?" Sara asked.

Aiden slowly nodded. "Hey, are you alright?" Amy asked.

Sara looked at Amy. "On the day where Vincent lost his memories, in the real world. He was put in a coma from a fire in the pizzeria. On the last day of August. He died from the coma. Nightmare doesn't exist in those other worlds. And since Vincent died from that coma. Springtrap died as well, since Vincent and Springtrap's souls are bonded. We have to wake him up from his coma in the real world somehow....And save everyone..." She explained.

"But... That would be impossible to do... Since in order for Vincent to live, I need to die." Nightmare said.

"No... Like I said. We'll find a way to save all of you..." Sara said.

"Yes. We'll all find a way to save both of us, Nightmare." Vincent said.

Sara nodded.

"But how? How are we gonna do that? We all have 9 days left until the end of the month!" Nightmare said. Vincent looked down. He had a way to save both Nightmare and himself, but... he didn't want to tell him.

Sara looked at Vincent.

"I... I think I have a way to save Nightmare and I." Vincent said.

"Really?" Sara asked.

"Yeah..." Vincent said, looking down. "What? What is it?" Nightmare asked. "I... I can't tell you guys." Vincent said.

"Vincent, it's okay. You can tell us." Sara said, sitting up from the bed.

"N-No, really, I-I can't tell you guys..." Vincent said. "Vince..." Scott held Vincent's hand. "It's alright. You can tell us." He said. Vincent looked down. Scott could tell that he had a look of fear in his eyes.

"It's alright. You can tell us later when you feel like it. And, I'm starting to feel better.... And, I think that using my powers may be a risk..." Sara said.

"Yeah. I don't think we should use your powers for a while, Sara." Simon said.

Sara nodded.

Vincent yawned. "I think we should be getting ready for bed." He said, rubbing one of his eyes.

Sara yawned as well. "Agreed." She said.

Vincent rested his head on Scott's shoulder.

Sara rested her head on Mike's chest, she snuggled her head on his chest.

Scott picked Vincent up and laid him on the bed.

Sara slowly closed her eyes, now falling asleep.
