Chapter 16

*The next day*

August 18th

Vincent slowly opened his eyes and saw Scott sitting beside him. "Morning." He said. "Good morning." Vincent said, sitting up.

Sara slowly sat up from the bed and yawned. She saw Stacey sleeping beside her left side and Mike sleeping beside her right side. She kissed both their foreheads.

The both of them blushed.

Sara smiled warmly.

"Well, I'm just about to make some breakfast. Do you want anything?" Scott asked. "Does pancakes count?" Vincent asked. Scott chuckled. "Of course. I'll make you some." He said, kissing Vincent's forehead. Vincent smiled.

Sara looked out the window, gripping onto the blanket tightly.

Kevin noticed. "Sara? You okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine..." Sara replied.

"Are you sure?" Kevin asked.

Sara nodded.

"Alright. If you say so." Kevin said, starting to walk to the door. But, he felt a hand touch his shoulder.

Sara was the one grabbing her shoulder. "Wait... There's something I need to tell you..." She said.

"Hmm? What is it?" Kevin asked.

"Okay... You might get confused. But, this is Vincent's original world... On August 1st. When Vincent lost his memories. There was a fire started at the pizzeria. Vincent was stuck in one of the rooms, and the smoke caused him to pass out. The doctor said that he was in a coma, and he wouldn't wake up. On the last day of August....... H-He... D-Died...... On the day he died.... Nightmare and Marionette was trying to find another world to see Vincent again... But, Nightmare didn't exist in those worlds... Causing him to die as well.... He only exists in this world...... *sniff* Nightmare explained this to me last night.... We gotta find a way to save Vincent, Springtrap, and Nightmare... O-Or......" Sara started to say, but, she began to cry quietly.

Kevin hugged Sara.

Sara hugged back, crying onto Kevin's shoulder.

Kevin rubbed Sara's back and whispered comforting words into her ear. "I... I don't understand... On August 1st... There was no fire at the pizzeria... Vincent just collapsed at work..." He thought.

Sara began to calm down.

"Feeling better?" Kevin asked.

Sara nodded.

Kevin smiled. "That's good." He said.

Sara smiled back.

"Sara... About what you said... I don't understand. On August 1st, there wasn't any fire at the pizzeria. Vincent just collapsed at work." Kevin said.

"I-I don't understand ether. But, I'm guessing that there's another world called... The real world?" Sara asked.

Kevin's head suddenly started to hurt.

"Kevin!" Sara said.

Kevin looked up at Sara, a pained look in his eyes. "S-Sara... I-I... Agh!" He gripped his hair tightly. His head hurt so badly, it felt like it would explode. He started getting flashbacks. Vincent stuck in the safe room... His cries for help... He fell to his knees.

"K-Kevin! Hang in there! Anthony! Someone!" Sara shouted.

Anthony and Mike burst into the room and saw Kevin on the floor. "Kevin!" Anthony shouted and he ran to him. "Kevin? Kevin, what's wrong?! Are you okay?!" Mike asked. "This is... all my fault..." Kevin said, his voice barely audible. "W-What? What are you talking about, Kevin? Nothing is your fault." Anthony said. "I... I...!" Kevin started to say. Then, he got a memory. Kevin telling Vincent to check the safe room to make sure everything's okay. He started to scream.

"K-Kevin?!" Sara shouted, her voice sounding worried.

"This is all my fault! It's my fault that Vincent was in that hospital room in his original world! I'm the one... I'm the one that caused Vincent's death!" Kevin said, starting to sob.

Sara hugged Kevin tightly.

Anthony hugged Kevin tightly. Mike was shocked. He didn't know what Kevin was talking about. "Kevin, what are you talking about? You didn't cause any deaths. Vincent's still here with us." He said. "But, Mike... You don't understand... This is Vincent's original world... All the things that happened in the past few weeks... The world trying to kill Vincent... All of this happened because he wasn't supposed to exist in this world!" Kevin shouted. He buried his face in his hands. "I-I killed him! I was the one who killed him! If only... If only I didn't tell him to go to that safe room, he wouldn't be dead!"

Sara tightened the hug a little.

"K-Kevin, please calm down..." Anthony said as he rubbed his back. "Kevin... You didn't kill anyone." Mike said.

"You two don't understand. This is Vincent's original world. Vincent was stuck in the safe room and he got in a coma. On the last day of August, he died. Nightmare and Mari were trying to find another world to see Vincent again. But, in those worlds, Nightmare didn't exist making him die as well. We have to save Vincent, Springtrap, and Nightmare." Sara said.

Mike didn't understand what Sara meant at first, but then, memories starting to come back to him. Everyone screaming and asking themselves what's going on, Scott and the others trying to break the door of the safe room down... Kevin apologizing to him.

"I'm sorry. If only I haven't sent Vincent in there... All of this wouldn't be happening."

https://youtu.be/yOYFbIbYpdE

Mike's eyes widened. He started shaking and clenched his fists tightly. "I see... You sent Vincent in that safe room, didn't you Kevin? You... You killed him, didn't you?" Mike asked, his voice shaky. "I... I-I..." Kevin tried to say something, but he was choked with sobs.

"M-Mike... I-It's not Kevin's fault... H-He didn't know that the fire was going to happen...!" Sara said.

"Well, yeah... But... KEVIN SHOULDN'T HAVE SENT VINCENT IN THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE!! Boss told me that there was faulty wiring in the safe room and he told me to be careful. I told Kevin about it and he said he already sent Vincent in there!" Mike shouted. "Mike, calm down! It was an accident! It wasn't Kevin's fault!" Anthony said. "Oh, well, I'm starting to think it might've been Kevin's fault! If he didn't send Vincent in that safe room, this whole thing would have never happened!" Mike shouted. "Mike, calm down!" Anthony said, grabbing Mike's shoulders, but he shook him off. "NO! I won't calm down! You killed my friend, Kevin Rodney! You killed our friend! Maybe you already know about this whole faulty wiring thing and you sent Vincent in there anyway!" Mike kept on shouting. His words are like arrows piercing right through Kevin's heart. "Mike! I didn't know!" He shouted. Mike looked down at the floor, his hair covering his eyes. "I hate you, Kevin... I hate you!" He shouted and started to run to the door. Anthony grabbed Mike's wrist and looked at him sternly. Mike turned to look at him. "What are you doing? Let me go!" He shouted, trying to tear out of Anthony's grasp, but his grip was too strong. "Mike, listen to me. Kevin didn't know about the fire. He didn't know about the faulty wiring at the safe room. It was an accident! You know that accidents happen at the pizzeria every day!" He said firmly. "Well, that accident pretty much costed our friend's life!" Mike shouted.

"Mike, calm down! Kevin didn't know that the fire started! It wasn't his fault that Vincent is dead! It was JUST an accident!" Sara shouted.

Mike looked at Sara, then turned back to Anthony. "I bet you're defending him because you love him." He said. Anthony flinched. He clenched his fist tightly. "Mike... IT. WAS. AN. ACCIDENT! IT WAS AN ACCIDENT AND YOU FUCKING KNOW IT!! Kevin didn't know that the accident was gonna happen! We all know that it was an accident! But, you... You treat this as some involuntary manslaughter case. If Kevin knew about this and purposefully put Vincent in that room, he would be in jail right now! But he's not! Do you wanna know why? BECAUSE IT WAS A MOTHERFUCKING ACCIDENT!!" Anthony screamed.

Sara flinched as she tightened the hug around Kevin.

Mike started to shake. "Do you get it now? Do you get that it was an accident? This whole accusation of Kevin causing this accident... It's stupid. It's all stupid! Kevin didn't do anything wrong! Even if he did do something wrong, I forgive him. So... Don't go blaming people for things that aren't their fault!" Anthony said.

Sara had tears running down her face as she looked at them.

Tears started to run down Mike's face as he fell on his knees. "I... I'm... sorry..." He started to say quietly before he started bawling. He covered his face with his hands as he sobbed. "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I'm sorry!!" He sobbed.

Puppet hugged Mike close.

Mike hugged back tightly, burying his face in he shoulder. Anthony sighed and hugged Mike.

Sara looked out the window, she was shaking a little.

Mike buried his face in Anthony's chest, sobbing. Kevin hugged Sara tightly.

Sara hugged back, continuing to shake.

Mike looked at Kevin. "Kev... I'm sorry..." He said. "No, it's fine. If you hate me, that's okay. The accident is pretty much my fault..." Kevin said.

"It's not your fault. It was only an accident, Kevin..." Sara said.

Kevin sighed. "Well, like Mike said, it could've been my fault. I sent Vincent into that room after all." He said.

"Kevin, it's not your fault...." Sara said.

"Sara's right. It's not your fault, Kevin." Anthony said.

Sara nodded.

Kevin sniffled and stood up. "W-We should probably get ready for work..." He said.

Sara nodded, but she was still shaking.

"Hey. Why don't you sit down?" Kevin asked.

"A-Alright..." Sara said as she sat down on the edge of her bed, continuing to shake.

Kevin shakily sighed. "I-I'm sorry! I'm sorry for all of this! I-I'm so sorry!" He said, hugging her.

Sara hugged back. "I-It's not your fault... K-Kevin..." She said.

Kevin sobbed into Sara's shoulder.

Mike shakily walked down the hallway when he smelled something. "Huh...? Is this smoke?" He thought. He walked to the source of the smell and found a trail of smoke floating out of the bathroom door. Mike was about to open the door when he heard singing.

I lost my mind...

The skies are crashing around me...

I'm left behind...

Smoke obscures all I can see...

You lead me down a dark path, but I'm who you blame for the aftermath...

You're screaming out...

You've broken me down and I am left alone here to cry. Someone... Can someone... Please someone... Save me now...

Mike opened the door and a puff of smoke came out, hitting Mike in the face. He coughed and waved the smoke away from him. Then, he saw Vincent sitting on the edge of the bathtub, smoking a cigarette. "Vince, what are you doing?" Mike asked, walking up to him.

Vincent looked up at him, his blue eyes glassy and unfocused. "I-I don't know..." He said, his voice raspy.

Puppet looked at Vincent, worried.

Mike took the cigarette from Vincent, put it out, put Vincent on his shoulder and carried him out of the bathroom. "Vincent... Why are you smoking in the bathroom? I've never seen you smoke before." He said, coughing a little from the smoke. "I-I don't know... I-I just felt like I had to do it... Heh, my life is a joke, anyway." Vincent said. Mike's eyes widened. "Vincent, don't say that! Your life is not a joke!" He said.

Puppet looked at Vincent. "Mike is right, Vincent, your life is not a joke..." She said.

Vincent stayed silent. "Listen, I'm sorry for losing my cool like that. I just couldn't believe that this world is... your original world." Mike said. "I-I know..." Vincent said, looking down. "Huh? How did you know?" Mike asked. "Nightmare... Nightmare told me everything. He told me that I was in a coma after an accident at the pizzeria until I died on the last day of August. Now I know why the world is trying to kill me. I wasn't supposed to exist there..." Vincent replied, letting out a hollow laugh.

"Vincent... We'll find a way to save you and Nightmare, Vincent..." Puppet said.

"Hah... I think it'll be impossible, but... I'll believe it." Vincent said.

Puppet hugged Vincent. "We'll try to find a way to save you, Springtrap, and Nightmare... We'll find a way..." She said.

Vincent hugged back, tears starting to stream down his face.

Puppet rubbed Vincent's back in a comforting way. "You can cry on my shoulder if you want to...." She said.

Vincent buried his face in Puppet's shoulder and started to sob.

Puppet continued to rub Vincent's back. "Shh... It's okay... I'm here..." She said.

Vincent continued to sob, but after a while, Vincent started to calm down.

"Feeling better?" Puppet asked.

Vincent nodded.

Puppet smiled warmly. "That's good." She said.

Vincent smiled back. "We should probably get ready for work." He said.

Puppet nodded.

After everyone got ready for work, they all went downstairs for breakfast.

Sara looked out the window, remembering what Nightmare said to her last night. She looked down a little, her hair covering her eyes.

Mike looked at Kevin. He felt extremely guilty about what he said. He put his hand on his shoulder. "Kev... I'm sorry about what I said before. I didn't mean it. I was just angry." He said, looking down. Kevin sighed. "It's alright..." He said. Stacey hugged Sara.

Sara hugged back, burying her head in Stacey's shoulder.

Stacey rubbed her back.

Sara gripped the back of Stacey's shirt tightly as she tried to hold back tears.

"It's okay. Let it all out. I'm here." Stacey said.

Sara then began to cry on Stacey's shoulder, shaking once again.

Stacey continued to rub her back and whisper comforting words into her ear.

Sara continued to cry on Stacey's shoulder, but after a while, she began to calm down.

"Feeling better?" Stacey asked.

Sara nodded.

Stacey smiled. "That's good." She said, kissing her forehead.

Sara blushed but smiled warmly.

Mike was watching the whole thing and he blushed slightly.

Sara noticed Mike.

"Um... Are you guys dating or something?" Mike asked.

Sara blushed completely crimson red. "E-Eh........?" She asked. Steam now coming out of her face.

"N-No! We're just friends! That's all!" Stacey said, blushing too. Mike slowly raised his hand. "Can I join you guys? It'll be like what Vincent, Scott and Aiden are doing." He said, sheepishly.

"Y-Yeah.. " Sara said.

Mike got up and sat to Sara. He kissed both Sara and Stacey's cheeks. Stacey blushed more.

Sara too also blushed more.

Mike chuckled. "You two are so cute!" He said.

Sara blushed even more and buried her face in Stacey's chest.

Stacey hugged Sara as her face turned red. "Mike, please...!" She said. Mike chuckled.

Steam began to come out of Sara's face.

"Mmmf!!" Stacey puffed out her cheeks as steam came out of her face.

Sara buried her face in Stacey's chest once more as more steam began to come out of her face.

Steam started to come out of Stacey's face too.

Sara then began to calm down from blushing so much.

"Well... We're just watching this whole thing go down." Anthony said.

"My god, I felt like my face was going to explode..." Sara said.

"Well, we should probably get to work now." Vincent said.

Sara nodded.

"Yeah. We should." Scott said. Everyone got in the car and started to drive to the pizzeria. Once they got there, Scott went to the office and knocked on the door. "Boss? Boss, are you in there?" Scott called. No answer. Scott grew suspicious and opened the door. "Boss?" He asked, looking around. He noticed that Nigel was not in the room. "Huh? He's not here. That's strange." Mike said.

"Did he leave the pizzeria to go get something, or...?" Sara asked.

"I'm here." A voice behind them said. The others jumped and turned around and saw Nigel behind them. "Boss, don't scare us like that!" Mike said, putting his hand on his chest.

"Where were you?" Sara asked.

"I just got here. You guys came here pretty early." Nigel said.

"Mhm..." Sara said. Crossing her arms.

"So, what's your reason for coming back to the old haunt?" Nigel said, crossing his arms too. Stacey looked at Sara. "Should we tell him?" She whispered.

"I-I don't know..." Sara whispered back.

"I apologize, but could you allow Vincent to take a few days off from work?" Scott asked. "Hm? Why is that?" Nigel asked.

"Uhm.... Well..." Sara looked at Scott, her face saying. 'Should we tell him?'

Scott shook his head, saying we shouldn't. He had a feeling that Nigel wouldn't understand. "Well, you see, Vincent has been getting sick for the past few days and I don't want anyone else getting sick so I think it would be best if he takes a few days off." Scott lied. Vincent looked at Scott, guilty. "You don't have to lie, Scott." He thought. Nigel thought for what seemed like a long moment, then nodded his head. "I understand. If that's the case, then I'd like to put his recovery first." He said. He turned to Vincent. "Take your time to get better." Nigel said. "Thank you, sir. It would really help." Scott said.

Sara looked at Vincent, her face now saying. 'I don't think we should tell him, Vince. He won't understand...'

Vincent nodded. The others left the office and Aiden held out his hand. "Shall I take you outside?" Aiden asked. Vincent nodded and took his hand. They were about to walk out the door when a family came into the restaurant. They had a girl in a wheelchair and her eyes were clouded over the irises. Vincent's eyes widened. "That's... That's the blind girl that came to Freddy Fazbear's one time!" He thought.

https://youtu.be/eijdNQMYikY

Sara noticed the girl. "That's the blind girl that came here...." She thought

Scott noticed the girl. "Hi, Molly!" He said in a soft voice. Molly felt Scott's hand and smiled. "Hey, Scott." She said in a soft voice too. Her voice made Vincent blush. She was so adorable! "Where's Vincent?" Molly asked. "Oh... Um, he's out sick today." Scott replied. He felt bad that he was lying to a kid. "Oh. Well, tell him I hope he gets better soon." Molly said.

"So, how are you, Molly?" Sara asked in a soft, almost like motherly voice.

"I'm doing good. How are you and the others?" Molly asked.

"We're doing good. We just hope Vincent will get better soon." Sara replied, smiling warmly.

"I hope so too." Molly said.

Vincent watched the whole thing from afar. His heart hurt when he saw her. He could have sworn that he'd seen her somewhere before.

Sara felt bad for lying to Molly about Vincent, she just didn't want Molly to know about Vincent's condition. "Shall I get you to your table, Molly?" She asked.

Molly nodded. "Okay." She said.

Sara smiled warmly. "Alright." She said. She leaded Molly to one of the tables.

Once they led Molly to her table, Toy Chica came over to the table. "Hello, Molly. What would you like to have?" She said in a soft voice.

Sara looked at the menu, she always helped Molly with the menu. "Do you want to have have a pepperoni pizza? A cheese pizza? Or you can go for a drink, if you want. Your pick." She said.

"I'll have a cheese pizza with some fruit punch." Molly said.

Sara smiled warmly. "Alright." She said.

Bonnie watched the whole thing and he put his hand on his chest. "She's so precious!" he thought.

Sara almost tried to hold back tears, she felt so bad that Molly was blind, she wished Molly would see what everyone else could see. Colors, animals, Vincent and everyone else. Sara felt tears fall from her face, but she quickly wiped them away.

Scott looked at Sara and put his hand on her shoulder.

Sara looked at Scott, her face looked like she was about to cry quietly.

Scott hugged Sara. "I know... It's really hard to see Molly like that. But, we'll find a way to restore Molly's eyesight. She'll be able to see what everyone else could see." He whispered.

Sara hugged back, tears streaming from her face.

Scott rubbed her back in a comforting fashion. Toy Chica was watching this and she had tears streaming down her face herself.

Sara buried her face in Scott's shoulder.

"Shh... It's okay... It's okay. I'm here..." Scott whispered into her ear.

Sara then began to calm down, she wiped away her tears.

Molly gently grabbed Sara's hand. "Sara? What's wrong?" Molly asked.

Sara looked at Molly, she smiled weakly. "There's nothing wrong, dear. I'm okay." She said.

Molly frowned. "Something's wrong. I can tell." She said.

Sara hugged Molly. "It's alright, dear. Nothing's wrong." She said.

Molly hugged back.

Sara then pulled away from the hug and smiled warmly at Molly.

Molly felt Sara's hand and smiled back.

Sara smiled warmly and held Molly's hand.

Meanwhile, Axel and William was watching the whole thing, tears streaming down their faces. The two men had babysitted Molly a few years ago when she was just a baby. They soon grew attached to her and Molly's parents allowed them to babysit her every week. Axel was always a father figure to Molly and William always told Axel that he would be a great father to her. Then, the accident happened that took Molly's sight away from her. She was still the bright and energetic girl she is before, but with the loss of her eyesight, it had become difficult for her to go on with her daily life. But, she was strong and overcame the obstacle in her life, still smiling that happy smile. But Axel can't help but think, if that accident hadn't happened, then Molly would still be able to see. He sniffed and wiped the tears from his eyes.

Puppet put a hand on Axel's shoulder.

Axel looked at Puppet.

"I know, it's really hard to see Molly like this now, but we'll find a way to restore her eye sight. We're sure of it." Puppet said.

"Yeah..." Axel said. William looked at Molly. "Don't worry, Molly. We'll help you through this, every step of the way." He thought.

Puppet looked at Molly as well, she had a sad look on her face.

Molly rubbed her finger on the Braille text of the menu. "I wish I could see like everyone else does." She said. Her dad looked down at the floor, guilty.

Sara frowned and hugged Molly.

Molly was surprised by Sara's touch, but hugged back. "It's okay. What happened to me wasn't anyone's fault." She said.

"I know, dear. But, we hope your eye sight will return soon." Sara said, softly.

"I hope so too." Molly said.

Sara looked at Molly's parents.

"We're very sorry. If I had payed more attention on the road, Molly wouldn't have lost her sight." Molly's father said. He started to sob, but Molly held her father's hand. "It's okay, dad. It's not your fault." She said.

"Molly is right. It's not your fault, sir." Sara said to Molly's father.

Her father wiped the tears away. "Sir, I want to ask you something." Scott said. He looked to the ravenette. "Hmm? What is it?" Molly's father asked. "Is there... a way to get Molly's eyesight back?" Scott asked.

Sara looked at Molly's father, waiting for an answer.

"Well... There is this surgery that will remove the cataracts from Molly's eyes, but it costs about... over a thousand dollars. Me and my wife don't have the money to pay for the surgery..." Molly's father replied hopelessly, but Scott stepped up. "Me and my friends will pay for it." He said. "What? Sir, you don't have to do that." Molly's father said. "It's okay. We'll do whatever we can to get your daughter's sight back." Scott said.

Sara nodded.

"Sir... Thank you! Thank you so much!" Molly's father said, hugging Scott. He hugged back. "You're welcome, sir." Scott said.

Meanwhile, Vincent and Aiden were outside the pizzeria. "Sorry Scott told Boss that you need to take time off work without asking you first." Aiden said. "It's alright. I have a feeling he won't understand anyway." Vincent said, looking down. He looked up at Aiden . "Um... About Molly... I feel like I've known her somewhere..." Vincent said. "Really?" Aiden asked. "Yeah. I think that if I talk to her, I might regain another memory." Vincent said. "Do you think she knows about your memory loss, though?" Aiden asked. "I-I don't know..." Vincent said, looking down. "M-Maybe I shouldn't tell. She's just a little kid. She wouldn't know about things like that." Vincent said. "Who knows? Maybe she knows about those kind of things than you think." Aiden said. "I guess you're right." Vincent said. Aiden looked up and saw someone drop a flowerpot from the window above Vincent. "Watch out!" Aiden shouted as he grabbed Vincent and pulled him out of the way. The flowerpot shattered behind him, scattering soil and flowers across the ground. Aiden looked up and saw the person who dropped it. It was one of the fangirls. He was seething with rage. "Stay here!" He said and ran back inside the pizzeria. Vincent looked at the shattered flower pot, starting to shake. "Did somebody try to..." He thought.

Puppet appeared beside Vincent. "Vincent, are you okay?!" She asked, worried.

"Y-Yeah..." Vincent said in a shaky voice.

Puppet hugged Vincent protectively.

Vincent hugged back, starting to shake.

"Shh...It's okay, I'm here..." Puppet said, rubbing Vincent's back.

A few stray tears fell from Vincent's eyes as he continued to shake.

Puppet continued to rub Vincent's back.

After a while, Vincent began to calm down.

"Feeling better?" Puppet asked.

Vincent nodded.

Puppet smiled warmly. "That's good." She said.

Vincent smiled back. Then, Aiden went back outside and saw Vincent. "Sorry. I lost them." He said, kneeling down next to him. "Hey. Are you okay?" Aiden asked. Vincent only nodded.

Puppet looked at the window and growled quietly, she was going to make those fangirls pay...

The others came outside and crowded around Vincent. "Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" Riley asked. Vincent shook his head. Scott hugged Vincent.

Sara looked at Vincent worried, then looked at the window and closed her hands tightly.

Scott gritted his teeth. "Those girls... Bullying him is one thing, but trying to kill him?! That just crosses the line!" He thought.

"Those girls are going to pay. BIG TIME." Sara thought.

Mike started to pace around, biting his fingernails nervously. "Everywhere Vincent goes, he always gets into danger. It's too dangerous for him to be outside." He thought. "Hey, Vince. Why don't you come over to my place tonight?" Mike asked.

Sara looked at Mike.

"It's alright. We don't mind." Marylin said, looking at Mary. "Are you sure, Mike? I don't really want to bother you." Vincent said. "It's alright, Vince. You're not bothering me, Mary or Marylin." Mike said.

"I agree, you should go with Mike, Marylin and Mary." Sara said.

Vincent nodded and shakily got up. "Here. Let me help you." Scott said as he let Vincent lean on his shoulder. "Thanks." He said. "No problem." Scott said, smiling.

Sara smiled at them, a little.

"C'mon, let's go." Aiden said as he held his sister's hand. They all went to the car and drove off. Little did they know, Molly was looking out the window, holding the music box in her hands. She knew the real reason why Vincent wasn't there. And it's because... a certain puppet told her the truth.

Later, the others arrived at Mike's house. The group all walked up the stairs to Mike's room. "This is your first time here, right? You used to come over to my family's house all the time." Mike said, looking at Vincent. Vincent only looked around the room, being wary of his surroundings. "Sorry for forcing you to come here. I'm just worried." Mike said. "It's fine." Vincent said. He took off his shoes and sat on the bed. "Make yourself at home. I'll be on the computer." Mike said. "Oh, is it Mikey's time to do his homework?" Marylin asked. "No, Marylin. I just need to do some stuff for university." Mike said.

Sara leaned against the wall as she looked out the window, her arms crossed.

"Oh. And Vince, you can use those books or games over there as you wish." Mike said, pointing to the shelf filled with books and games. "Okay. Thanks Mike." Vincent said, smiling. "You're welcome. Now, I gotta get to work. I'll see you guys later." Mike said, walking out of the room. Vincent looked at the shelf. "I wonder if there's something in there that'll help me regain one of my memories." He thought. He got up and started searching through the books, hoping that he could find something that could help him. Eventually, he came across a photo album. He took the book out of the shelf and started flipping through the pages. While he was going through the pages, he saw the photo of him, Scott and Aiden as kids. He recalled a memory about him and his friends playing in the playground in elementary school. He smiled warmly at the memory. "What'cha lookin' at?" Marylin asked, peeking over Vincent's shoulder. She saw the photo of the three guys together. "Ah, I remember this. It was way back in elementary school. I remembered when it rained one day, Aiden, John and Mike started playing in the mud." Marylin said, reminiscing the memories. "Hey! That was a long time ago! I'm a clean person now!" Aiden said, a little agitated. Marylin giggled. "That's right! Me and Mary used to call you "Mudboy"! I'm bringing it back!" She said, smirking. "You'd better not!" Aiden said as Marylin started to run to the door. "Catch me if you can, Mudboy!" She said as she ran out of the bedroom. "Why, you little-" Aiden said as he chased after Marylin. Vincent chuckled.

Sara giggled.

Aiden chased Marylin down to the kitchen where Mike was working. "Hey now. No need to get rowdy." He said, getting up from his chair. "Mike, help me catch the Mudboy!" Marylin called out as she ran to the living room. "Oh my god, Marylin, I remember that nickname!" Mike said, smirking and ran after Aiden. Soon, the three made it back to the room where Mike and Marylin tackle hugged Aiden and they all fell on the bed, laughing. "Who gets to tickle the Mudboy?" Mike asked. He looked at Marylin. "Marylin, will you do the honor?" He asked. She smirked and nodded. "With pleasure." Marylin said. With that, the two of them started tickling Aiden and he started laughing. "Ahahahaha! Sis, help me!" He said.

Sara giggled at them. "Alright you two, that's enough tickling the Mudboy. But, instead..." She raised one hand, smirking evilly. "I'll handle the tickling!" She said, keeping her smirk.

"Nooooo!!" Aiden said as Sara started tickling him. Mike and Marylin laughed at this. "Ah, it's like we're kids again." Mike said. "Yep. Totally." Marylin said, smiling.

After a while, Sara then stopped tickling Aiden.

Aiden tried to catch his breath and wiped a few tears from his eyes. "Hey. I'm going to get some papers from the university. I can go shopping on the way back. Do you guys want anything?" Mike asked.

"If you're also gonna go to Starbucks. Get me some bubble tea." Sara said.

Mike nodded. "Alright. I'll be sure to do that. Does anyone else want anything?" He asked. "Nothing in particular." Vincent said. "Okay. Then just wait here for me. I'll be right back." Mike said and walked out the door. As soon as he got out, his phone beeped, signalling him that he got a text message. He opened his phone and saw that he got a text message from one of the fangirls. He gripped his phone tightly. "Dammit... Those girls..." He muttered. He shook his head and made his way to the university.

After he got the papers, he went to Starbucks and got the bubble tea Sara asked for. As he walked home, Mike looked around to see if anyone is watching. "I hope The Thing isn't stalking me..." He thought. Then, he saw a figure standing in the shadows. He walked a little closer and tried to get a closer look at the figure. He was ready to run away if the figure did anything. "Hey." The figure simply said. It sounded like Mari, but... the voice was different. "We meet again." The figure said again. Mike immediately recognized the voice. "You're..." He said, his tone getting aggressive. He gripped the cup tightly. He knew it's The Thing talking to him. The figure chuckled. "I see that you're getting smart. Offering your friend to stay over at your house for a while... That's really nice of you." He said, stepping into the light. Mike couldn't see his face, but his body was visible. "By the way, you're dating Sara and Stacey now, right?" He asked. Mike stepped back a bit. "Looks like I'm right. I'm glad you're happy." The figure said. Then, he smirked. "But too bad." He said, now starting to laugh as he stepped into the light fully. Now, Mike can see his face. Mike started to run away, but he felt his throat began to tighten. He dropped the bubble tea as he fell on his knees. "Your friend is going to get killed! His life is almost over! And you and your friends can't do anything to stop it!" The Thing said as he laughed manically.

Mike glared at The Thing. "You... bastard..." He choked out. Saliva trailed down the corner of his mouth as his vision started to fade. "Don't you get it? You can't change Vincent's future! There's nothing you can do to stop it." The Thing said. Mike tried to get up, but he was too weak. Just as he was starting to lose consciousness...

Something threw The Thing against the wall. Mike fell to the ground, catching a glimpse of the person before he passed out. One name came up in his mind.

"Molly...?"

Puppet appeared beside Molly and glared at The Thing.

The Thing slowly got up. "You little-" He started to charge at Molly, but he is repelled by a forcefield. "Don't hurt Mike, you monster." Molly said. The tone of her voice didn't even change.

Puppet glared at The Thing once more as strings came out of her finger tips.

The Thing tried to run away, but Molly raised her hand as if commanding him to stop. The Thing immediately froze and realized that he can't move.

Puppet looked at Molly.

"I know why Vincent wasn't at the pizzeria today. Because you told me that he had amnesia. Is that right?" Molly asked. The Thing looked down. Mike slowly got up, rubbing his neck.

Puppet nodded, she placed a hand on Molly's shoulder.

"...It's true. I told you the truth about Vincent." The Thing said. "And I'm going to help Vincent and his friends get his memories back. Now... Stay away from him and the others." Molly said.

Puppet smiled proudly at Molly.

Molly let go of The Thing who immediately ran away. Molly looked at Mike. "Are you okay?" She asked. "Y-Yeah... I-I'm fi-" Mike started to say, but he stopped when he saw Molly. "Molly?! What are you doing here?" He asked. "Well, The Thing told me the truth about Vincent. I know that he's trying to get me to join his side, but I know his intentions. He's gonna kill him in order for Nightmare to live. But, I'm not gonna let him do that. I'm gonna help you and your friends regain Vincent's memories." Molly said. "Molly..." Mike said.

"Mike, we have to let Molly help us." Puppet said.

Mike looked at Puppet and nodded. "Okay." He said.

"Alright then, we should get back to your place. Mike." Puppet said.

Mike nodded, but looked at the spilled bubble tea on the ground. "Well, that's one good bubble tea wasted." He muttered. "Don't worry. I'll pay for it." Molly said. "Oh no, Molly. You don't have to do that." Mike said.

Puppet looked at Molly. "Are you sure you want to pay for it, Molly?" She said.

"I'm sure. I have extra allowance money." Molly said.

"Alright." Puppet said.

"Alright. Where did you buy the drink?" Molly asked, looking at the spilled bubble tea. "I got it at Starbucks. Just down the road and take a left." Mike said, giving Molly directions. She nodded and the three of them went to Starbucks again.

Puppet looked around, she remembered that her and Springy went to this place once, only to get a drink.

After Mike paid for the bubble tea again, the others went back to the house without The Thing interfering.

Sara was leaning against the wall outside the house, her arms crossed as she was looking at the sun.

"I'm home, guys." Mike said, rubbing his neck. "Mike? Are you okay? What happened?" Aiden asked.

Puppet was beside Mike. "The Thing attacked him, but, Molly saved Mike." She explained.

"What?! Oh my god..." Aiden took a closer look at Mike's neck. "Thank goodness Molly was here." Fritz said.

"Yeah, I'm glad you saved Mike, Molly." Sara said.

"You're welcome, Sara." Molly said, smiling. "But, what are you doing here outside all alone? Where are your parents?" Scott asked. "They went out for dinner." Molly replied. "Did they leave you with a babysitter?" Kevin asked. "Yeah, but all she does is watch TV. She didn't notice me sneaking out." Molly answered.

"I see." Sara said.

"But, my parents are gonna get worried about me when they come home and see me gone. They might blame the babysitter for ignoring me. I don't want her to get in trouble." Molly said.

"How about you tell your parents that you can come over tomorrow? Surely there won't be a problem." Sara said.

"Yeah. That would be a good idea." Molly said.

Sara smiled warmly. "Alright then." She said.

"Shall I take you home, Molly?" Mike asked. "Sure." Molly said.

"Take care, Molly!" Sara said.

"Bye!" Molly said as she and Mike walked out the door. "Aww, Molly's so cute!" Fritz said.

Sara giggled.

"Well, we should probably get ready for bed. It's getting pretty late." Anthony said, looking at the clock.

Sara nodded.

Everyone got ready for bed as Vincent snuggled into his bed. "Goodnight, Vinny." Aiden said, kissing his forehead. Vincent chuckled.

Sara snuggled her head against Stacey's chest. "Night, Stacey." She said.

Stacey smiled. "Night Sara." She said.

Soon, Mike came back to the house and saw everyone sleeping. He smiled and got into his own bed. As soon as he got comfortable, he closed his eyes and fell asleep. Then, he had a nightmare regarding what The Thing said.

"Your friend is going to get killed! His life is almost over and you and your friends can't do anything to stop it!"

His eyes shot open and sat up. He ran his hand through his hair as he tried to calm down his breathing. "No... The Thing is wrong... We will save Vincent!" He thought, looking at Vincent. "You're going down, Thing."

Vincent slowly opened his eyes. "Mmm... What time is it?" He muttered. He looked at the clock and saw that it was 6:47 A.M. "I should probably wake up the others." He thought. He got up and walked up to Scott, who was sleeping on the floor next to Kevin. He noticed that the covers were barely covering him, so he knelt down and pulled the covers up. "What's wrong? You can't sleep by yourself?" Scott muttered in his sleep. He wrapped his arm around Vincent and pulled him close. Vincent was surprised by his sudden move and he blushed. "Is this better? You can't be by yourself." Scott muttered. Vincent was too surprised to say anything and his blush spread across his cheeks. Scott slowly opened his eyes and saw Vincent beside him. He looked at himself and saw that he was hugging him. "W-What? Um..." Scott got flustered and his cheeks turned a bright red. Then, he smiled. "Sorry. I was half asleep. I was dreaming of when we were in kindergarten. You could never sleep by yourself and would always come to me." Scott said. Vincent smiled and snuggled his head in his lover's chest. Scott chuckled and petted his head. "You're warm." Vincent said. "So are you..." Scott said. Vincent liked this Scott. He liked him better without his glasses.

August 19th

Sara snuggled her head against Stacey's chest, but slowly opened her eyes, yawning a little.

Stacey moaned and opened her eyes. "Morning, Sara." She said.

"Morning, Stace." Sara said.

"Did you sleep well?" Stacey asked.

Sara nodded. "Yeah." She said.

Stacey smiled. "That's good." She said, kissing her forehead.

Sara smiled and giggled softly.

Stacey giggled too. Then, she saw Scott and Vincent sleeping together. "Aww! This is so cute!" She said quietly.

Sara giggled quietly. "I know right." She said quietly.

Stacey watched the two men as Scott kissed Vincent's forehead.

Sara smiled warmly at them.

Vincent chuckled and kissed Scott's cheek.

"They're so cute!" Sara thought.

Vincent sat up and yawned. Scott rubbed his eyes and put his glasses back on.

"Morning you two." Sara said.

"Morning, Sara." Scott said. "Did you girls sleep well?" Vincent asked.

Sara nodded. "Yep." She said.

Stacey nodded. "That's good." Vincent said. Aiden got up from the bed and opened the curtains, letting the morning sunshine into the room. "Whoa, hey... Turn off the brights." Mike said. "Oh! Sorry!" Aiden said and he tried to close the curtains. "It's alright. I'm up." Mike said, getting up from the bed.

Sara kissed Stacey and Mike's forehead.

They both chuckled. "All right. Let's go shopping today." Mike said. "Huh? Shopping?" Vincent asked. Mike looked at him. "I thought I could take you back home after two or three days, but when I think about the flower pot incident and the encounter with The Thing, I think you should stay at my place for a while. Okay?" He asked. "I'd appreciate that." Vincent said, smiling.

Sara smiled at them.

"Let's go buy whatever stuff you'll need to stay over." Mike said. "Did someone say shopping?" Mary asked. "MmmHmm!" Mike said, nodding. "Sweet! I wanna buy some stuff too!" Mary said enthusiastically.

Sara giggled at Mary.

"So, does everyone want to go shopping?" Mike asked. "Yes!" Everyone said in unison.

"I'll go get changed." Sara said.

"Alright. You take your time." Mike said.

"I will." Sara said as she got some clothes from her bag and went in the bathroom.

While everyone else waited, Vincent looked out the window. He was getting a bad feeling. "Vincent, is everything okay?" Scott asked. "Yeah... Everything's fine." Vincent replied, unsure. Scott and Aiden hugged him. "Don't worry. If anyone tries to hurt us, I won't hesitate to kick their ass." Aiden said. "Yeah. We're all here for you no matter what." Scott said. Vincent hugged back. "Thanks guys." He said.

Sara went out of the bathroom, wearing a white shirt, along with black leggings. Along with a red flannel jacket and a Marionette mask necklace wrapped around her neck. "Well, how do I look?" She asked.

Mike looked at her and smiled. "You look really cute." He said.

Sara smiled back. "Thank you." She said.

"You're welcome." Mike said.

Sara smiled warmly.

Mike smiled back. After everyone else got ready, the others went to the shopping mall to buy Vincent some supplies.

"Dang, haven't been in this mall in awhile." Sara said.

"Me too." Stacey said.

"Well, I'm glad I'm back in this mall with you guys." Sara said, smiling warmly.

Aiden smiled. "It's our pleasure, sis." He said.

Sara smiled warmly.

Vincent walked by a glasses store and sees a box of contact lenses on the shelf. "Hey Scott. Can you come here?" Vincent asked, motioning Scott to come here. Scott nodded and they both went inside store. "Shall I buy these for you?" Vincent said, taking the box of contact lenses. "Um... No thanks. I'm perfectly fine." Scott said, blushing a little. "Well, I figured..." Vincent took Scott's glasses off. "Huh? W-What are you-" Scott started to say, but Vincent shushed him. "I think you look pretty cute without your glasses on." He said, smiling. Scott blushed more.

Puppet was looking at Scott and Vincent, smiling at them.

"This is so cute!" Stacey said.

Sara giggled. "I know right!" She said.

"Okay, fine! You win." Scott said. "Okay! I'm buying these for you." Vincent said, smiling. He gave Scott his glasses back and he put them back on as Vincent paid for the contact lenses.

"Well, aren't you two just cute?" Sara asked, smiling.

Scott and Vincent looked at Sara and blushed.

Sara smiled.

Scott and Vincent both covered their blushing faces.

Sara giggled.

"Well, anyways, we bought most of the stuff Vincent needs." Mike said, holding a bag containing a shampoo bottle, some new clothes, and some books.

"I'm gonna go get something to drink. I'll be right back." Vincent said, walking to the water dispenser. "Do you want me to come with you?" Scott asked. "Ah, yeah. That would be great." Vincent replied, smiling. The two men started to walk to the water dispenser when a girl walked past them. Vincent saw her handkerchief fall out of her purse, but Scott looked at the girl's movements closely and saw that she made it fall out. Scott gripped Vincent's hand tightly as they both walked away from the girl. Scott saw another girl sneak up to Vincent from behind and pulled out a pair of scissors. She was about to cut a lock of Vincent's hair off when Scott grabbed the girl's hand. The two of them started struggling and Vincent tried to break them up. They were too distracted to see the girl slip the scissors at the locks of hair that were interlocked together.

*SNIP*

The girl snipped both Scott and Vincent's hair off. Brown and black hair strands fluttered down to the floor next to their feet. Scott pushed the girl away and grabbed Vincent's cut hair. He didn't care about his own hair being cut. His only focus is on his lover. "This is... the same memory I had... except it's different." Vincent thought.
