Chapter 15

Sara noticed the familiar man.

Mike noticed the familiar man too. "Wait a minute... Axel?" He thought.

"Is it Axel...?" Sara thought.

Mike waved at Axel and smiled. Then, he thought he saw Axel wave back at him.

"I think I forgot to tell you this, but, I used to work with Axel in Rachel and Doug's Diner when I was 20." Sara said to Mike.

"Oh, really?" Mike asked.

"Yeah." Sara replied.

"Wow..." Mike said.

"Yeah, and when I was at the place. I remember that I met The Thing there... He tried to kill me.... But, thank god Axel saved me..." Sara said.

Mike covered his mouth. "Oh my god... Good thing Axel was there to save you..." He said.

Sara nodded in reply.

Mike smiled and looked out the window.

Sara smiled warmly and rested her head on Mike's shoulder.

Mike blushed a little, but smiled and rested his head on Sara's head.

Sara closed her eyes, keeping her warm smile.

A while later, the others are back home.

Sara was on Mike's back, resting her head on the back of Mike's shoulder, she was sleeping peacefully.

Mike carried her into the house and laid her on the bed. Vincent flopped on the couch.

Sara snuggled her head on the pillow.

"Whew... Man, that was crazy!" Vincent said. "Yep. It definitely was." Aiden said.

"I agree." Lance said.

Vincent looked at Scott, Aiden and Mike. "Thanks for saving me back there. I really owe it to you." He said.

"No problem, Vince. We got your back." Lance said.

Scott and Aiden hugged Vincent. "No problem, Vince." He said.

Lance smiled at them. He looked at Sara and noticed a bruise forming on her neck.

Amy noticed the bruise too.

Lance tugged onto Mike's jacket sleeve. "Mike, Sara's neck is forming a bruise." He said.

Mike looked at Sara and shook her.

Sara slowly opened her eyes and yawned.

"Hey. Are you okay?" Mike asked.

"Yeah, I'm fi-" Before Sara could finish her words, she winced in pain from her neck.

"Sara!" Mike said. He looked around and saw a mirror on her nightstand. He gave the mirror to Sara.

Sara looked at the mirror and saw the bruise on her neck.

"Is your neck okay?" Mike asked.

"I-I don't know..." Sara replied.

Mike looks at the bruise on her neck. "Man, The Thing just doesn't hold back, doesn't he?" He thought.

Sara looked out the window.

Mike looked at Sara, worried.

Sara rested her head on Mike's chest, trying not to wince from the pain that came from her now bruised neck.

Mike looked at her neck, worried. "Do you want me to get some ice packs?" He asked.

Sara nodded.

Mike went to the fridge and got an ice pack.

Sara looked at her bruised neck at the mirror once more. She then felt.... tears in her eyes? She got confused. She then once again remembered what happened to her parents. What happened to the children, when Vincent almost died... She took it all in too much. She buried her face in the pillow, now crying.

Mike came back and saw Sara sobbing in her pillow. He went over to her and hugged her.

Sara was surprised at first, but she hugged back, now crying onto Mike's chest.

Mike started to rub her back. "Shh... It's okay... It's okay. I'm here..." He said.

Sara kept crying on Mike's chest. She gripped the back of his jacket tightly.

Lance was watching the scene, feeling bad for what Sara had to go through.

Simon walked over to him and touched his shoulder.

Lance looked at Simon.

Simon sighed. "I know... that what happened today is really scary and hard to take in, but, Vincent's okay. He and the others saved him. And what happened to us isn't anyone's fault. I know Sandra caused our deaths, but everyone deserves forgiveness. I-I know that I'm... not the best at comforting people, but..." He said.

Lance hugged Simon to cut him off.

Simon was surprised, but he hugged back.

Lance buried his face in Simon's shoulder, now shaking.

Simon rubbed his back.

Lance had tears running down his face.

"It's okay, Lance... Everything will be okay..." Simon said.

Lance wiped away his tears, now calming down.

Simon smiled.

Lance smiled back.

Simon looked back at Mike and Sara, who was comforting her.

Sara then began to calm down, her face red from crying so much.

"Feeling better, Sara?" Mike asked.

Sara nodded.

Mike smiled and kissed her forehead.

Sara blushed, but smiled warmly.

Mike hugged Sara and stroked her hair.

Sara blushed as she buried her face in Mike's shoulder.

Mike looked at the child spirits and smiled.

Lance smiled back.

Vincent, Scott and Aiden walked into the room and saw Mike and Sara.

Sara saw Vincent, Scott and Aiden. Her face still red from crying.

The others went to Sara and hugged her.

Sara hugged back.

"It's okay, Sara. We're all here for you." Scott said.

Sara smiled warmly. "Thank you..." She said.

"You're welcome, Sara." Scott said. Then, Aiden's phone rang. "Hmm? I wonder who that could be." Aiden said, answering the phone. "Hello?"

"Hey, Ai- Ah!"

"Carlton, give me back my phone!"

"C'mon, Jessica. Can I please borrow it for a few minutes?"

"Few minutes only."

"Sorry, Aiden. That was... Um..." Carlton's voice said in a sheepish tone and Aiden smirked. "Ah, it's alright. So, why are you calling on Jessica's phone?" He asked. "Well, me and the others are at the pizzeria right now and we're kinda thinking of staying here for the night. I guess you can say it's kind of like a slumber party." Carlton replied. Aiden grew nervous. "Um, I don't think you should be at the pizzeria late at night. The animatronics might..." He said, looking at the others nervously.

Sara blinked.

"Oh, well, that's kind of the reason why I called you. Do you think maybe you guys can watch the animatronics and make sure they don't do any funny business?" Carlton asked. "Well, that's basically our job." Aiden said.

Lance looked at Aiden, worried.

"Look, I just don't want you kids getting hurt, so I think you and your friends should leave." Aiden said. "Aww, come on! Please?" Carlton asked. "Carlton, Aiden said no." Charlie said and took the phone from Carlton. "Sorry about that." She said.

Lance sighed in relief.

"It's alright, Charlie. I just don't want you and your friends to get hurt." Aiden said. "I understand. We'll leave." Charlie said and she hung up.

Sara sighed in relief.

"I hope Charlie and the others are okay." Aiden said.

"Me too." Sara said.

Scott looked at the clock. "Well, it's getting late. We should get to bed." He said.

Sara nodded.

After everyone got ready for bed, Vincent looked out the window.

Sara looked out the window as well.

"You know... I was thinking... Maybe there is a way to save Nightmare and the rest of his friends." Vincent said.

Sara looked at Vincent. "Really?" She asked.

"Yeah... I don't know how, but I'll find a way." Vincent said.

"Alright." Sara said.

Vincent laid in his bed and looked up at the ceiling.

Sara laid on her bed as well. She looked out the window again.

"It's not fair, you know... If I live through August, Nightmare will die... I-I know I might come off as a hypocrite by saying this, but... I don't want Nightmare to die." Vincent said.

Sara looked at Vincent and hugged him.

Vincent hugged back. "I know Nightmare has almost killed us before, but... After everything... I understand Nightmare's intention. He didn't want to die. He just wanted to live a long and happy life. But, I'm the one getting in the way of his wish. To tell you the truth, neither of us want to die. We still have 16 days left and it's either me or Nightmare. But, I figured that maybe there is a way to save both of us." He said.

Sara tightened the hug a little.

Vincent sniffed.

Sara rubbed Vincent's back.

Vincent buried his face in Sara's shoulder.

"It's okay if you can cry on my shoulder... It's okay..." Sara said.

Vincent started to sob softly.

Sara rubbed Vincent's back. "It's okay....Let it all out...." She said, calmly.

Vincent continued on sob in her shoulder.

Sara continued to rub Vincent's back as she whispered comforting words.

A while later, Vincent started to calm down.

"Feeling better?" Sara asked.

Vincent nodded.

Sara smiled warmly. "That's good." She said.

Vincent smiled.

Sara smiled back.

Vincent yawned.

"We should get some sleep. It's been a long day." Sara said.

"Yeah. Good night, Sara." Vincent said as he laid back down on his bed.

Sara laid back down on her bed as well. She snuggled her head on the bed and closed her eyes.

Vincent snuggled in his bed and closed his eyes too.

*DREAM*

Vincent was walking around the pizzeria, looking for Freddy and the gang. He had just got a call from Scott saying that the animatronics are experiencing weird behavior. No, not the 'They go on a killing rampage at night' kind of behavior. Scott said that he thought he saw the animatronics follow a purple Freddy suit. "We don't have a purple Freddy suit..." Vincent thought. He walked further down the hallway and smelled something... metallic. He ran into the room where the entrance to the safe room is and found Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy on the floor, severely beaten. Nuts and bolts were scattered on the floor near their bodies. His eyes widened. "Oh my god..." He whispered and ran to Freddy, being careful not to trip on the bolts. He felt his hand to see if there is any life still in him.

His skin is cold. Cold as ice. "Oh no..." Vincent said while he looked at the carnage. "Who did this...?" He thought. Then, he heard footsteps. The footsteps were light and almost quiet. Vincent looked behind him and saw a woman standing in the hallway. He immediately got up and tried to run away, but he felt a cloth being pressed on his mouth and nose. Panicking, he tried to get out of whoever is grabbing him, but he breathed in a strong smell as a result. He felt his eyelids getting droopy and he heard a faint chuckle before he passed out.

Later, Vincent woke up in a dark room. His eyesight was still blurry, but he could tell from the row of arcade game machines that he was in the safe room. He looked down and noticed that his whole body was covered in metal. It took him a second to realize that he was in a springlock suit. His heart began to beat fast from fear, but he managed to keep calm. He tried to hold his breath in an effort to not let the springlocks break lose. "How long are you gonna hold your breath for, Vincent?" A familiar voice asked him. He looked up and saw Sandra. "Soon, you won't hold it in anymore and you'll let it out. Now, you wouldn't want that to happen. Especially if moisture causes them to break loose. I heard what your boyfriend said about the springlock suits and I would hate for someone he loves to be in an accident with it." She said, smirking. Vincent started to shake. "This must be a past memory. Sandra's on our side now, so this has to be a memory!" He thought. "Well, this has been fun, Vinny, but I have to go. I don't want anyone to catch me." Sandra said, walking to the door. Then, the door suddenly swung open.

Scott was standing at the door, an angry look on his face. "You're not going anywhere." He growled. Sandra pushed Scott aside and started to run. Mike, Kevin and Anthony grabbed Sandra's wrists and pinned her down while the others ran into the room. "Vincent!" Jeremy shouted when he saw him in the springlock suit.

"Vincent! Hang in there!" Sara said, trying to get Vincent out of the Springlock suit.

The others tried to get him out of the springlock suit too. Vincent couldn't hold his breath anymore, so he let out a strangled cry. The moisture of his breath made the springlocks break loose. A few nuts and bolts came out of the suit before they crushed him. Vincent screamed as he felt the springlocks pierce his skin. He felt them pierce every vital organ in his body as he coughed up blood. A pool of blood started to form below him as it leaked out of the suit.

"VINCENT!!!" Sara screamed.

Scott started to panic and he ripped the springlock arm off of Vincent. Jeremy was shaking and tears were streaming down his face as he covered his mouth. Aiden muttered profanity as he helped Scott get the suit off of Vincent. Soon, the suit was off. Vincent was covered in big cuts and a few springlocks was buried deep into his body. Vincent struggled to breathe, but every time he did so, blood came out his mouth.

Sara was shaking heavily, tears were streaming from her face.

"Oh my god... Vincent, hang in there! We're gonna call an ambulance, okay?!" Scott said, his voice choked with sobs. Vincent weakly lifted his hand to touch Scott's cheek. "S-Scott... I-I'm sorry... I-I *cough* *cough*" Vincent coughed up more blood. "Vincent, please don't talk! Please... Just try to breathe!" Scott sobbed, holding Vincent's hand. Vincent tried to, but more blood came out of his mouth as a result. "S-Scott... I-I think I'm not gonna make it..." He whispered. His eyes started to flutter. Scott could tell that he was struggling to hold on. "Vincent... Please... You have to hold on... Don't die on us, please!" Scott sobbed. "S-Scott, I-I..." He pulled himself closer to Scott, more blood came out of his wounds as he pressed his lips onto Scott's. He pulled away and looked into his brown eyes. "I-I love you........." He said. He closed his eyes as his body went limp. "Vincent...? Vincent?!" Scott shouted, shaking him. He quickly put his fingers on Vincent's neck and felt no pulse. "No... No! Y-You're not leaving me, okay?!" Scott said and immediately started CPR. Aiden got a first aid kit and tried to stop the bleeding.

https://youtu.be/Z4wpY1K8zcQ

Sara had her face buried in Mike's chest, crying quietly.

Mike rubbed her back and whispered soft words into her ear. He looked back at Scott, still trying to revive Vincent. He felt tears form in his eyes when he saw something. A purple light was floating above his body. When he took a closer look at it, the light took the form of Vincent. "I-Is that...?"

Sara noticed the purple light as well.

Vincent looked down at his body, his lover still trying to revive him. He felt tears form in his eyes. He couldn't believe it. Sandra just killed him by putting him in a springlock suit. But if he's still here instead of in heaven, he should still be alive. But... He suffered serious injuries from the springlock suits. There's no way he could have survived. He looked back at the springlock suit. "So... I guess I'm with you now... Springtrap." He said. He started to walk towards the springlock suit, but he heard Scott crying, begging for him to come back as he started to press on Vincent's chest harder. Vincent's chest started to hurt. He could tell that the CPR was working. He tried to move towards his own body, but... he couldn't move. He tried to move, but he can't. He started to pull himself to move and he felt a splitting pain throughout his body. Even though he was a soul, he could still feel pain. He started to pull harder and he couldn't believe what happened next.

His soul split in two. His other half was still looking at the springlock suit while he started to move again. He looked at his other half, confused. Then, he looked at him. "Go on. Your friends need you." He said with a small smile. Vincent looked at his other half and nodded. He floated towards his own body while his other half went inside the springlock suit. As soon as he got back in his own body, he started to breathe again. "Vincent!" Scott said and shook him lightly.

Sara noticed Vincent. "Vincent!" She said.

Vincent's eyes fluttered open. "Vincent? Are you okay?" Scott asked. Vincent slowly nodded.

Sara sighed in relief.

Vincent winced in pain at the cuts. "Don't worry, Vince. An ambulance will be here soon." Scott said, holding Vincent's hand.

Sara looked at them.

Soon, the paramedics arrived and they took Vincent to the hospital. Scott looked at the springlock suit that was laying on the floor. "Sandra..." He thought as he gritted his teeth. He started to walk away, but he thought he saw the suit move.

Sara looked at the suit.

The suit slowly opened its eyes and sat up. Scott gasped. "Huh?! W-What?! H-How is it moving?!" He thought.

Sara's eyes were widened in surprise. She looked at the suit, shaking a little.

The suit groaned and put his hand on his head. "W-Where am I?" He asked.

"W-Wait a minute......" Sara got a closer look at the suit. Her eyes widened a little more. "S-Spring Bonnie...?" She asked.

Spring Bonnie looked at Sara. "Sara...?" He asked.

Sara felt tears in her eyes, she hugged Spring Bonnie.

Spring Bonnie hugged back, tears forming in his eyes too.

"I-I missed you..." Sara said.

"I-I missed you too..." Spring Bonnie said.

"W-What happened? T-There's bandages o-on you... W-Who did this to you?" Sara asked.

Spring Bonnie looked at the mirror that was cracked and saw that he had bandages on him. "I-I don't know... I was fine an hour ago." He said.

Sara hugged Spring Bonnie again. Feeling slightly bad for what happened to him.

Spring Bonnie hugged back, feeling tears in his eyes.

"Y-You can cry on my shoulder, if you want..." Sara said.

Springtrap buried his face in his shoulder, starting to cry.

Sara rubbed Springtrap's back.

Springtrap sniffled.

"Shh... It's okay... I'm here..." Sara said.

Springtrap continued to sob on her shoulder, but after a while, he calmed down.

"Feeling better?" Sara asked.

Springtrap nodded.

Sara smiled warmly. "That's good." She said.

Springtrap smiled too. Mike was at the doorway, watching the whole thing.

Sara looked out the window, worried about Vincent.

Mike walked over to her and touched her shoulder. "It's okay, Sara. Vincent will be okay." He said.

"I hope he'll be okay." Sara said.

Mike hugged Sara. "Hey... Is it okay if I... visit him?" Springtrap asked.

Sara nodded as she hugged back.

Springtrap looked at himself in the mirror again. "Springtrap... Do you mind if we talk?" Mike asked. Springtrap looked at Mike and nodded.

Sara looked at Mike and Springtrap.

"Yes? What is it?" He asked. Mike took a deep breath, preparing himself for the question he was about to ask. "W-While Scott was trying to revive Vincent... I... I saw his soul... He was looking at the suit... You... He tried to move towards his body, but he couldn't move. I... saw his soul being split in two... One half went inside his body and the other half went inside you... So, I was wondering... Maybe you are a part of Vincent?" He asked.

Puppet was leaning against the wall, watching the conversation.

Springtrap's eyes widened a little. "Wait... So, you're saying that... I have half of the soul of your friend who... almost died?" He asked. Mike nodded. "I think you might be connected to him in a way. Like, you have some spiritual connection with him. Maybe you guys feel the same pain." Mike said. "Well.... Now that you mention it, my body is hurting a lot." Springtrap said.

"That explains on how he moved..." Puppet thought.

Mike looked at Sara.

Sara looked at Mike.

"Yes. The pain you feel in your body is connected with the injuries that Vincent got." Mike said.

"So, their bodies are connected to each other... Almost like a cord wrapped around their wrists..." Puppet thought.

Springtrap looked at the mirror again. "So... I guess me and Vincent are bound for life, huh?" Springtrap asked. Mike nodded. Springtrap then remembered something. "Freddy... Are Freddy and the others okay?!" He asked.

Sara's eyes widened. She looked down, her hair covering her eyes.

Springtrap looked at Sara. He could tell from the look on her face that it wasn't good. "D-Don't tell me they are..."

https://youtu.be/zIJPb12yXN0

Sara had tears falling from her face to the floor, she covered her mouth and fell on her knees. Crying quietly.

Mike held her close to his chest. Springtrap felt tears in his eyes. "I... I can't believe this... But... They're robots... They can get fixed..." He thought.

Sara cried onto Mike's chest, her body now shaking.

Springtrap looked at the door that was slightly open and peeked through the crack. Kevin and Anthony were hovering over Freddy, trying to fix him.

Puppet saw Kevin and Anthony, trying to fix Freddy as well. She held her hands, she looked like she was praying for Freddy to be okay.

Anthony screwed a bolt into place, hoping that the mechanism would work again. Kevin felt Freddy's hand. It was still cold. "Here. Let me." Kevin said, offering his hand to Anthony. Anthony nodded and gave Kevin the screwdriver. Kevin screwed in a few more nuts and bolts and after a moment, the mechanism whirred to life again. Freddy's hand twitched in Kevin's grasp and he opened his eyes. "Huh...? W-What happened?" He asked, starting to get up, but Kevin stopped him. "Hey. You need to rest. I'll tend to the others, okay?" He asked. "Wait... Bonnie... Is Bonnie okay?! Please tell me he's okay!!" He shouted, tugging at Kevin's sleeve. Kevin looked at Bonnie. He was still a mess of wires sprawled out on the floor a few feet away. "Don't worry, Freddy. I'll bring him back. I promise." Kevin said. Anthony started to comfort Freddy as he started to cry. Kevin walked over to Bonnie and started to fix him. After a few minutes, Bonnie's mechanism sprang to life. His red eyes started to glow as he started to move. "Hey. You okay?" Kevin asked. Bonnie nodded. "Yeah... Where's Freddy? Is he okay?" He asked. "Yes. He's okay. I fixed him." Kevin answered. Bonnie's eyes widened a little, then hugged Kevin. "Thank you! Thank you so much!" He cried. Kevin patted his back. "You're welcome, Bonnie." He said.

Puppet sighed in relief.

Freddy and Anthony looked at Kevin and Bonnie and Freddy sighed in relief, happy that Bonnie's okay. Next was Chica. As he started to fix her, he saw his sister, Amy. "A-Amy...?" He asked. Amy looked at him and smiled. "Little brother... It's nice to see you again..." She said. "I-It's nice to see you too. I-I missed you..." Kevin said, his eyes filled with tears. "I missed you too." Amy said, hugging him. "Look how big you've grown..." Kevin hugged back, tears streaming down his face. "Amy, I-I'm so sorry! I'm sorry I didn't save you! I-I didn't know this was gonna happen! I-I'm so sorry!" He sobbed. "Bro, it's okay. What happened to me wasn't your fault. You're not responsible for what happened." Amy said, rubbing her brother's back. "But, I could've done anything! Anything to save you. But..." Choked sobs escaped from his mouth as the tears continued to fall down his face. "Brother, it's okay. I'm here for you." Amy looked at her brother. "I'll always be with you." She said, a small smile on her face. Kevin sniffled. "I love you, Amy." He said. "I love you too, little brother." Amy said before she disappeared. Kevin looked down at the floor, his tears still rolling down his face. "Kevin..." Anthony went over to him and hugged him. Kevin hugged back, burying his face in his shoulder.

Puppet looked at them, she walked beside Kevin and hugged him.

Kevin continued to sob into Anthony's shoulder as he rubbed his back.

Puppet felt purple tears fall from her face.

Kevin sniffled and wiped the tears from his face. "Sorry..." He said, looking at Anthony. His shirt was soaked with his tears. "No, it's fine." Anthony said. Kevin looked at Chica and went back to fixing her. After a few minutes, Chica came back to life. She looked at Kevin with her bright purple eyes and smiled. "Welcome back." Kevin said, smiling back. After that, he went to fix Foxy. Soon, the gang has been fixed. "Whew, that Sandra girl really did a number on us, huh mate?" Foxy asked, rubbing his arm. Freddy nodded.

Puppet sighed in relief.

Springtrap was watching the whole thing and he smiled. "Thank goodness Kevin is here." He thought.

Sara and Mike were watching the whole thing as well. Sara smiled warmly.

Springtrap felt the pain in his body slowly fading.

Sara held Mike's hand tightly.

"It looks like Vincent's doing good." Mike said.

Sara nodded.

"Do you wanna visit him now?" Mike asked Springtrap. He nodded.

"Let's get going, then." Sara said.

The three of them got out of the room. "Come on, guys. Let's go visit Vincent." Mike said. The others nodded and they all left the pizzeria.

At the hospital, Scott was sitting on the chair, nervous. He just wanted a report on Vincent's condition. He hoped he would be okay.

Sara looked out the car window, hoping that Vincent was okay as well.

The others got to the hospital and saw Scott. "Scott! How's Vincent doing?" Mike asked. "I-I don't know... The doctor didn't tell me yet." Scott replied. "Well, the pain in my body is gone so Vincent must be okay." Springtrap said.

Sara nodded.

"I hope so." Scott said. Then, the doctor came into the room. "Doctor! How's Vincent? Is he gonna be okay?" Scott asked. The doctor looked at his clipboard. "Well, your friend was very lucky to survive. The springlocks were buried deep into his body, but we managed to get them out. He should be expected to be released in about two or three months." He explained.

"So, he's going to be alright?" Sara asked.

The doctor nodded.

Sara sighed in relief. "Thank goodness." She said.

"He's in room 213 on the second floor." The doctor said. "Thank you." Scott said and he and the others headed to Vincent's room.

"Vincent?" Sara said.

Vincent was laying on a bed, covered in bandages, gauze and a breathing mask was on his mouth. An IV was connected to a heart monitor that was beeping steadily. Scott took a deep breath and held Vincent's hand.

Sara had a worried look on her face, she looked at Springtrap.

Springtrap looked at Sara, worried too.

Sara looked back at Vincent. She walked beside him. "Can you hear me? I... I don't know if you can hear me... I hope you get out of this hospital soon..." She said.

Vincent could hear them. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at them. "Hey." He said, his voice muffled in the breathing mask.

Sara sighed in relief and smiled weakly. "Hey..." She said.

Vincent held Scott's hand back. "Sorry about all of this..." He said.

"It's okay, we didn't want to lose you Vince. We're glad we saved you." Sara said.

Vincent smiled. "Thank you." He said.

Sara smiled back warmly. "You're welcome." She said.

Vincent looked out the window, staring at the moon. "The moon is pretty tonight." He said.

Sara nodded in agreement.

The others looked at the moon too. Scott smiled. "Yeah. It sure is." He said.

Sara smiled warmly.

"So, the doctor said that you're gonna be in there for about two or three months." Mike said, stating what the doctor told them. "Oh..." Vincent sighed. "That sucks." He said. "Yeah, I know." Mike said. "We'll come visit you every day. I promise, Vincent." Scott said.

Sara nodded.

"Thank you, guys." Vincent said, smiling bright. "You're welcome, Vin." Mike said.

"No matter what happens. We'll be here for you." Sara said.

Vincent smile got bigger. A few tears of happiness formed in his eyes. "Thank you. I'm so glad to have friends like you guys." He said.

Sara smiled warmly. "You're welcome, Vince. We're glad to have you as a friend too." She said.

Mike hugged Vincent gently, being careful not to hurt him.

Sara smiled at them.

"Well, we gotta be going now. We'll see you tomorrow, Vincent." Mike said. "See you tomorrow." Vincent said, waving. "I'll see you later, Vince." Scott said, giving him a quick kiss. Vincent chuckled.

Sara smiled at the two as she walked out of the room with the others.

Vincent looked out the window, the light of the moon shining on him. "This is definitely a past memory. A really traumatic one at that. But... I'm glad my friends are here with me. Once again, thank you guys..." He thought as he closed his eyes.

*DREAM END*

Vincent's eyes fluttered open. He sat up in his bed and looked around. He was back in his own room. He heaved a sigh as he looked at the others who were sleeping.

Sara slowly opened her eyes, she sat up from the bed.

Vincent saw her and smiled a little.

Sara saw Vincent and smiled back. "Hey." She said.

"Hey." He said.

"Did you recall another memory?" Sara asked.

Vincent nodded.

"What was it?" Sara asked.

Vincent looked down at his hands. "It was about... the springlock incident." He said, shivering.

Sara's eyes widened, her smile now faded into a frown. She hugged Vincent.

Vincent hugged back.

Sara tightened the hug a little.

Vincent sniffled.

"Y-You can cry on my shoulder, if you want." Sara said. She didn't expect Vincent to remember the Springlock incident...

Vincent buried his face in her shoulder, starting to sob.

Sara rubbed Vincent's back. "Shh... It's okay.... I'm here..." She said.

Vincent continued to sob quietly.

Sara continued to rub Vincent's back, whispering comforting words to calm him down.

After a few minutes, Vincent started to calm down.

"Feeling better?" Sara asked.

Vincent nodded.

Sara smiled warmly. "That's good." She said.

Vincent smiled back.

Sara looked out the window and noticed a pastel pink sky, the sun rising along with it.

Vincent looked at the morning sky and smiled.

Sara smiled warmly.

"Do you want to go for a morning walk?" Vincent asked.

Sara nodded in reply.

Vincent looked at the others who were still sleeping. He knew Scott and Aiden would get worried, so he took his notebook and tore out a piece of notebook paper. "Sara, do you have a pen?" Vincent asked.

Sara nodded and got her pen.

"Thank you." Vincent said and started writing.

"Hey. Me and Sara are gonna go for a morning walk. We'll be back later. - Vincent and Sara"

Vincent put Sara's pen down and put the note on his nightstand.

"You're welcome." Sara said as she put on a short black coat. She also wrapped a white scarf around her neck.

Vincent put on his short, blue coat and wrapped a purple scarf around his neck.

"Should we get going?" Sara asked.

Vincent nodded and headed out the door.

August 16th

Sara headed out the door with Vincent. She shut the door as she felt the wind flow through her hair.

Vincent let his hair flow in the wind as he and Sara walked down the sidewalk. He breathed in the morning air as he heard the chirping of birds in the early morning light. He thought about what happened on the trip. So much has happened... He shook his head, trying not to remember and kept walking.

Sara looked at Vincent. "You okay, Vince?" She asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Vincent said. Then, he noticed someone sitting on the edge of a stone wall. He walked closer to the figure and saw that he had short, black hair and a yellow top hat. "Nightmare?" He called out.

"Nightmare?" Sara asked.

Nightmare looked behind him and saw Sara and Vincent. "Oh! Hey guys." He said, forcing a smile on his face as he jumped off the wall and landed on the street. Vincent could tell that Nightmare was afraid of something and he knew what. He hugged Nightmare. "Wha- Vincent?" He asked, confused. "I know. You're afraid of dying. You only have 15 days left to live and you don't want to kill me to prolong your life. I know that you want to live a long and happy life, but you have this anchor that keeps you from granting that wish. But... Maybe there's a way to save both me and you." Vincent said. Nightmare just laughed. "Y-You must be crazy! There is no way for you to save me without you dying!" He said, but Vincent tightened the hug. Nightmare could smell Vincent's sweet aroma and he blushed. "I know... It sounds like a crazy thing to do, but I'll find a way to help you. I promise." Vincent said. His sweet words touched Nightmare and he hugged back. "Thank you..." He whispered.

Sara smiled at them.

"You're welcome, Nightmare." Vincent said. He pulled away from the hug. "Hey... Do you mind if we come over to our house?" He asked. "Huh? M-Me?" Nightmare asked, blushing more. "Yeah. I got some movies that you might like." Vincent said.

Sara nodded.

Nightmare smiled, this time a genuine smile. "Okay." He said. "Great! Come on, let's go home." Vincent said.

Sara smiled warmly at them.

Nightmare and Sara followed Vincent up the road to his house. On the way, Nightmare couldn't help his heart beating fast. He remembered what Vincent did. Him hugging him, the sweet aroma coming off of him... He blushed, reminiscing the moment. "I-I think I'm starting to fall in love." Nightmare thought.

Sara looked at Nightmare and smirked, putting her hands on her hips.

Nightmare blushed more, looking at Sara's attitude.

Puppet was floating beside Nightmare, she was smirking widely. "My, my! Looks like someone is in love with Vinny!" She thought as she looked at Nightmare.

Nightmare jumped, startled from her sudden appearance.

Puppet giggled.

"L-Let's just go!" Nightmare said, flustered as he got inside Vincent's house.

Sara's smirk widened. "Mmmmmmhmmmmmm." She hummed.

Nightmare's face was bright red. He bumped into Aiden and they both fell. Nightmare's blush was redder than his eyes when he found himself on top of Aiden. "Uh..." Aiden was blushing too. "This is... awkward." He said.

Sara looked at Aiden and Nightmare, blood now coming out of her nose, heavily. "Oh my goodness....." She said.

Nightmare quickly got off of Aiden. "S-Sorry!" He said, blushing profusely. Aiden got up and brushed himself off. "It's fine." He said, then looked at Sara. "Sara?!" He shouted, his eyes widened. Nightmare noticed too. He quickly looked around and saw a box of tissues and tossed it to Sara. "Here!" He said.

Sara caught the box of tissues and put one of the tissues on her nose, stopping the blood.

"Nice throw, Nightmare." Aiden said, smiling. Nightmare looked at him. "I-It's no problem!" He stuttered. "Oh man! Oh man! Oh man! A tough guy is talking to me! Usually, the tough guy is always the one that protects the girl from any harm and is usually really nice!" He thought. Then, Scott came into the room. "What's all the ruckus down here?" He asked, rubbing his eyes. Nightmare saw Scott and steam started to come out of his face. "Aaaaaaah!! They got a glasses guy here too?! Guys with glasses are very hot in anime! But seeing an actual good-looking glasses guy?! Oh man, I think I'm gonna faint!" He thought.

Sara looked at Nightmare, and noticed that he was gonna faint. "Oh boy..." She muttered.

Then, Jeremy and Fritz came into the room. "U-Um... W-What's going on over here?" Jeremy stuttered, blushing a tint of pink as he did so. Nightmare saw this and more steam came out of his face. "The shy guy... is here.... too...!!" He said. Blood started to come out of Nightmare's nose at a heavy rate. "Waaah?!!" Scott screamed. "I-I'm sorry! What did I do?!" Jeremy apologized and fussed over the current situation. Kevin and Anthony burst into the room. "What the heck is going on in here?!" Kevin shouted and he ran to Nightmare and pinched his nose shut to stop the bleeding. "Make sure to breathe from your mouth." Kevin instructed as he tilted Nightmare's head forward. Nightmare took deep breaths from his mouth as Kevin kept his nose pinched. After a minute, he let go and saw that the bleeding stopped. "There. It's stopped now." Kevin said. Nightmare looked at Kevin and blushed again. "Another tough guy is here! Stay calm, Nightmare. Stay calm." He thought. "T-Thank you." Nightmare said.

Sara was watching the whole thing. Her smirk was widened once more. Puppet was beside Sara as well, her smirk widened as well.

Nightmare looked around and saw the situation he was in. His nose started to bleed again, this time in a small drip and Kevin wiped his nose. "I'm surrounded by a harem!~" Nightmare said, smiling.

"My god, this is beautiful!" Sara thought.

After calming Nightmare down, they all stayed silent for a minute. Aiden was the one who broke the silence. "Is anyone hungry?" He asked.

"Me." Sara said.

"Me." Everyone else said. "All right! I'll make pasta. And for my little sister, I'll make her a special quiche." Aiden said, looking at Sara.

Sara gave a thumbs up to Aiden.

Anthony nodded as Nightmare gave a thumbs up too. Aiden chuckled. "Leave the pasta to me." He said, going to the kitchen and taking out a bag of pasta. "Honestly, I have more confidence in this than Freddy Fazbear's." He said.

Sara put her hair into a short braid as she looked out the window.

After Aiden cooked everyone breakfast, he laid it in front of everyone. He served Sara the quiche and bread and he served everyone else pasta, with a side of bread, soup and salad. "This looks delicious!" Nightmare said. "Looks? It really is. Try it." Aiden said. Nightmare got a fork and ate some of the pasta. He smiled, enjoying its delicious taste. "See? Eat the salad, too. You need plenty of nutrients." Aiden said with a smile.

Sara smiled at them.

After breakfast, everyone got ready for work. "We'll be heading to work now. I'm sure there are still things you're worried about, but we'll come check up on you tonight." Scott said. "Um, thank you guys so much for this." Nightmare said, smiling. "No problem. See you later." Mike said as he opened the door. Their hair flowed in the wind as they stepped outside. For a moment, they looked beautiful. Nightmare smiled. "I'm glad I have friends like them." He thought.

~After Work~

The others are hanging out in Vincent's room, playing Hangman.

"I may sound stupid for asking this. But what's Hangman again?" Sara asked.

"Oh no, you don't sound stupid at all, sis. So, it's basically a paper and pencil guessing game for two or more players. One player thinks of a word, phrase or sentence and the other tries to guess it by suggesting letters or numbers, within a certain number of guesses." Aiden explained.

"I see." Sara said.

"Yeah, so if you guess incorrectly, we draw a part of a stickman on a little platform like this." Aiden said, grabbing a pencil and drawing a hangman diagram.

"Oh." Sara said.

"Yeah..." Aiden said, scratching his head. "If it's too graphic for you, we can just do an apple tree." He said.

"An apple tree sounds alright." Sara said.

"Um... If you want to..." Aiden said.

"I'll go with the apple tree then." Sara said.

"Okay." Aiden said. He drew an apple tree with ten apples.

Sara looked out the window. "Please don't let The Thing appear tonight..." She thought.

And with that, the game started.

"Okay. So, I'm thinking of a word. The hint is it describes someone very beautiful." Scott said as he drew 9 blanks below the apple tree. "Hmm... E?" Mike guessed. "No E." Scott said and crossed out one apple. "A?" Kevin guessed. Scott nodded. "One A." He said as he put one A on the second blank. "I!" Nightmare said, raising his hand. Scott chuckled. "Yes. Two eyes. And two I's." Scott joked as he put two I's on the fourth and seventh blanks. The word so far is _ A _ I _ _ I _ _.

"Uhm..... P?" Sara guessed.

"Nope." Scott said and crossed out another apple. "There's an I with two letters after it. That could be an 'ING'. How about N?" Fritz asked. Scott nodded and added the N and the G, which leaves them with _ A _ I _ _ I N G.

"Uhm......" Sara tried to think on the next letter.

Scott waited patiently for her to guess.

"Uhm....... J?" Sara guessed.

Scott shook his head and crossed out another apple. "S." Mike said. "R!" Anthony said. Scott nodded, and updates to R A _ I S _ I N G.

"Boy... This is hard.... It's almost like I'm in math class again...." Sara thought.

"T?" Jeremy asked. "No." Scott said and crossed out another apple. "I'm pretty sure there aren't any more vowels. It's got to be something that goes with S... L? M? P?" Vincent guessed. "Cold as ice." Scott said and crossed out three apples, leaving three apples uncrossed.

"K?" Sara guessed.

Scott shook his head and crossed out an apple, leaving two apples uncrossed. "Perhaps H?" Kevin guessed Scott nodded and added the H. The word right now is R A _ I S H I N G. "Final guesses, everyone?" Scott asked.

"V?" Sara guessed.

Scott nodded and added the V in, thus making the word, "Ravishing". "Oh..." Vincent said, blushing.

Sara noticed Vincent's blush.

"Do you know what that word means?" Mike asked.

Sara looked at Mike and shook her head in reply.

"Well..." Mike blushed. "It's basically a word describing someone extremely beautiful or attractive." He said.

Sara blushed. "O-Oh." She said.

"Yeah... There's a reason why I chose that word." Scott said, looking at Vincent. Vincent blushed even more.

"Mike, help. I'm going to go in my shipping mode." Sara whispered.

Mike quickly hugged Sara. "Hey, can you two take this somewhere else?" He asked Vincent and Scott. The two of them nodded and walked out of the room. Aiden followed them.

Sara hugged back.

Mike rubbed her back and looked at the door. He smirked. "Those three are definitely gonna do something tonight." He thought.

Sara noticed Mike's smirk.

"Mike, no." Kevin said.

"Mikey..." Sara said.

"What?" Mike asked.

"Why were you smirking?" Sara asked.

"Oh, nothing..." Mike said, still smirking.

"Mmmmmhmmmmmmm." Sara hummed.

"Why, Mike?" Anthony asked. He jumped to his feet and started singing. "Why you always lyin' Mike?"

"Mmm oh my god." Sara sang.

"You guys...!" Mike said, embarrassed.

Sara giggled.

Mike covered his face. "C'mon, Mikey. Tell us the truth!" Anthony said. "But... I have a feeling that if I tell you, Sara might go into fangirl mode." Mike said.

"Eh?" Sara said.

Mike looked at Sara. "I-I was thinking... about..." He took a deep breath and closed his eyes tightly. "VincentScottandAidenhavingsexagaintonight!" He said very quickly.

Sara blushed crimson red. "Did....... You...... Just..... Say......" She started to say, but blood came out of her nose once again. This time VERY heavily.

"I-I'm sorry!" Mike said and ran out of the room. Kevin pinched Sara's nose to stop the bleeding.

Sara's nose began to stop bleeding, her blush now calming down.

Kevin let go of Sara's nose. "Feeling better?" He asked.

Sara nodded.

"Hey. I'm gonna go get Mike." Jeremy said, getting up.

"Alright." Sara said.

Jeremy went out of the room and started to look for Mike. He found Mike sitting on the floor of the bathroom, still covering his face.

Puppet was beside Jeremy, her arms crossed.

Jeremy hugged Mike. "Sorry..." Mike said, hugging back. "Oh no, it's fine. It's not your fault." Jeremy said.

Puppet smiled at them.

Mike smiled a little, feeling better. Jeremy pulled Mike to his feet and walked out of the bathroom.

Sara saw Mike and Jeremy. "So, where was he?" She asked Jeremy.

"He was in the bathroom." Jeremy replied.

"I see. Are you alright, Mike?" Sara asked. Mike nodded. "I'm okay." He said.

Sara smiled warmly. "That's good." She said.

Mike smiled too.

Sara kissed Mike's forehead.

Mike blushed, but smiled.

Sara smiled warmly.

Mike yawned. "I think we should be getting to bed." He said.

Sara nodded.

As everyone got ready for bed, Mike noticed that Vincent, Scott and Aiden are taking an extremely long time. "Mike? Is something wrong?" Kevin asked. "The three of them... are taking an extremely long time." Mike replied.

"Should we check on them?" Sara asked.

"Yeah. Sure." Mike said.

Sara knocked on the door. "Hey, are you guys alright in there?" She asked.

They heard some shuffling in the room, then Aiden opened the door. He was wearing a bed sheet around his waist. "Yeah. We're perfectly fine." He said, blushing a little.

"Are you sure? You guys were taking an extremely long time." Sara said.

"Yeah... We're sure." Aiden said. Mike looked at Scott and Vincent who were in the bed. Vincent was panting, his cheeks were flushed red, and a moan came out of him from time to time. He blushed. "Y-You guys sure took your time." Mike said.

Sara blushed. "D-Do you want me to close the door?" She asked.

"Ah, no! We'll get dressed!" Aiden said, laughing nervously. "Oh no, you guys take your time in there. We're just heading off to bed." Mike said.

Sara nodded. "See you three tomorrow!" She said as she closed the door, blushing like crazy from the scene.

Mike was blushing too. "Um... You go ahead." He said to Sara.

Sara nodded as she went to her room, covering her blush with one hand.

Mike leaned against the wall, listening to the three of them in the bedroom. He heard them say some things, but he couldn't hear it. Then, the moaning starts. Mike blushed, hearing Vincent moaning. Over time, Vincent's moans got louder and he could hear his voice clearly. "Oh~ Oh my~ Ohh~ Oh my god... Yeah~ Yes~ Ahh~ Mmm~ Ngh~ Oh~ More~ More~ Ah~" Mike's face was a bright face and he quietly walked away. "They seem to be having a good time." He thought.

Sara was already laying on the bed, she snuggled her head on the pillow as she looked out the window, looking at the glowing moon.

Kevin saw Mike come into the room. He was about to ask what happened, but when he saw Mike's face, he already knew what happened. "They're... doing it again?" Kevin asked. Mike nodded. "I think we should not disturb them." He said.

Sara sat up from the bed as she heard the conversation. She heard the door open as she looked to see Stacey. "Oh, hey Stacey." She said.

"Hey Sara." Stacey said, smiling.

Sara smiled back warmly. "So, how are you?" She asked.

Stacey sat on the bed next to her. "I'm good. How are you?" She asked.

"I'm fine." Sara said.

"So, how's Vincent doing?" Stacey asked.

"He's doing fine. He remembered about the..... Springlock incident..." Sara said.

Stacey's eyes widened. She didn't expect him to remember a very traumatic incident like that. She hugged Sara.

Sara hugged back.

"Poor guy..." Stacey said.

"Yeah... I didn't expect him to remember that incident..." Sara said.

Stacey rubbed Sara's back.

Sara rested her head on Stacey's shoulder, but, she noticed a tag on her wall, saying. 'Stacey made me write this ~ Sara Jackson.' Her eyes widened a little. "Oh my god, Stacey look." She said.

Stacey looked at where Sara was pointing and her eyes widened.

"You made me write that tag last year, remember?" Sara asked.

Stacey nodded.

"Man, we were goofballs back then. I wish we'd hang out more like last year." Sara said.

"Hey, it's okay. I'm here now. We can make a lot more fun memories." Stacey said.

Sara smiled warmly. "You got that right, Stace." She said.

Stacey giggled.

Sara giggled. "Should we hang out tonight?" She asked.

Stacey nodded. "Sure thing." She said.

Sara smiled. "Alright then. Should I make a note for Mike? I don't want him to worry." She said.

Stacey nodded, smiling.

Sara smiled. "Alright." She got up as she went to her desk. She wrote a note saying. 'Hey Mikey! Me and Stacey are gonna hang out tonight, don't worry. We'll be back soon! See ya tomorrow! ~ Sara and Stacey' With chibi versions of Sara and Stacey at the bottom of the note, giving out peace signs.

Stacey looked at the note and giggled.

Sara giggled as she got up from the chair. She went to her closet, but looked at Stacey. "Think you can look away for a sec?" She asked.

Stacey blushed, but nodded and looked away.

Sara took off her pajamas and opened the closet. She put on a shirt Stacey gave her, which showed an angel in a galaxy. She put on blue jeans and a white flannel jacket. She put on black boots. "Alright, you can look now." She said.

Stacey looked at Sara and blushed more. "You look beautiful." She said.

Sara smiled warmly as she blushed a little. "Thank you." She said.

Stacey smiled back. Then, she noticed the shirt Sara was wearing. "Hey look, you're wearing the shirt I gave you." She said.

"Yep! It means a lot to me." Sara said, smiling warmly.

Stacey smiled more. "Yup. Me too." She said. "So, shall we get going?"

Sara nodded. "Yep!" She said.

Stacey and Sara got in the car and drove off. As they were driving, Stacey was remembering what the two of them did during their childhood. "Hey Sara. Do you remember the show, 'Adventure Time'?" She asked Sara.

"Heck yeah I do." Sara said, smiling from remembering the show.

Stacey giggled. "Marceline is my favorite character. She's a great singer too. I still remember her songs..." She said.

"Me too, I feel like I'm Princess Bubblegum and you're Marceline." Sara said, smiling.

Stacey giggled. "We should totally dress up as them this Halloween." She said.

Sara giggled. "Yep." She said, she looked out the window as she began to sing one of Marceline's songs.

Let's go in the garden.

You'll find something waiting.

Right there where you left it.

Lying upside down.

When you finally found it.

You'll see how it's faded.

The under side is lighter.

When you turn it around.

Everything stays.

Right where you left it.

Everything stays.

But it still changes.

Ever so slightly.

Daily and nightly.

In little ways.

When everything stays...

Stacey smiled. "You sing so beautifully." She said.

Sara blushed crimson red. "T-Thanks..." She said.

Stacey giggled. She rolled down the car window and let her hair flow in the wind. She started to sing.

La Dadadada

I'm gonna bury you in the ground.

La Dadadada

I'm gonna bury you with my sound.

I'm gonna drink the red from your pretty pink face, I'm gonna...

She stopped singing and looked at Sara, a little scared that she might have hurt her.

Sara looked at Stacey. "It's okay, keep going." She said, a warm smile on her face.

Stacey smiled. She resumed singing.

Sorry I don't treat you like a goddess.

Is that what you want me to do?

Sorry I don't treat you like you're perfect,

Like all your little loyal subjects do.

Sorry I'm not made of sugar,

and I'm not sweet enough for you.

Is that why you always avoid me?

That must be such an inconvenience to you, well...

I'm just your problem.

I'm just your problem.

It's like, I'm not even a person.

Am I?

I'm just your problem.

Well, I shouldn't have to justify what I do.

I shouldn't have to prove anything to you.

I'm sorry that I exist.

I didn't plan to be on your black list, but...

I shouldn't have to be the one that makes up with you, so...

Why do I want to?

Why do I want to?

Sara smiled warmly. "Her voice sounds so beautiful..." She thought.

Stacey thought for a minute, then sang another song.

So Finn and Jake set out to find a new home.

It's gonna be tough for a kid and a dog on their own.

Here's a little house.

Ah, Finn's stickin his foot in.

Well, that's a bad idea, dude,

Cause now that bird thinks you're a jerk, Finn!

And now they're chillin

on the side of a hill

And thinkin livin in a cloud'd be totally thrillin.

Unless they find something inside.

Like a mean cloud man and his beautiful cloud bride.

A beehive, oh no! Don't put your foot in there, guy!

Y'all tried that before and you know it didn't turn out right!

Big shell, go inside, look around, it seems alright.

Frog jumps out, ah! It's a tiger, throwing down potions for food and fire!

You know you should've stayed and fought that sexy vampire lady. Jake was feeling terrified. He was super scared of her vampire bite. Which is understandable, cause vampires are really powerful. They're unreasonable and burnt out on dealing with mortals.

Oh, Marceline, why are you so mean?

I'm not mean! I'm a thousand years old, and I just lost track of my moral code.

Oh Marceline, can't you see these guys are in pain?

No, I can't. I'm invested in this very cute video game.

So there go our boys, walkin on the icy ground.

Heading towards their destiny. I'm sure they'll figure something out.

Sara smiled. "Your voice sounds beautiful, Stace." She said.

Stacey blushed. "Thank you." She said.

"You're welcome." Sara said.

Stacey looked at the shy for a few minutes. Then, she got an idea. "Do you want to go to karaoke? I heard of a place in town that is open late at night." She said.

"Sure." Sara said, smiling.

Stacey typed the directions on her phone. "Here. That way, you'll know how to get there." She said.

Sara smiled. "Thanks, Stace." She said.

After following the directions on Stacey's phone, she and Sara walked into the karaoke bar where it was bustling with activity. The sounds of the people singing and cheering drowned out Sara and Stacey's voices.

"Boy, I'm nervous..." Sara thought as she held Stacey's hand.

"It's okay. No matter what happens, I'm here to protect you." Stacey said.

Sara blushed a little, but smiled warmly.

Stacey smiled back and looked at the stage. The person just finished singing and was getting off the stage. "Do you wanna sing, Sara?" Stacey asked.

Sara nodded.

"Well, let's go." Stacey said as she and Sara walked towards the stage.

Sara held Stacey's hand once again.

The two girls got on stage and Stacey took the microphone. "Which song do you want to sing?" She asked.

"I'll sing The Girl from Hellberg." Sara replied.

"Awesome! That's my favorite song." Stacey said.

Sara smiled. "Me too!" She said.

Stacey handed Sara the microphone.

Sara took the microphone as she smiled at Stacey.

"Good luck." Stacey said.

"Thanks, Stace." Sara said.

"You're welcome, Sara." Stacey said, smiling.

Sara smiled back, she saw Stacey walk off the show stage and to a table. Sara then began to sing.

Cambridge, to Boston.

Lives in a world she's lost in.

Victim of compromise.

He's starting at her Aberdeen heart.

London eyes, Glasgow bones.

She's a whistle in the catacombs,

A paradox.

He's in love with the statue in the marble block.

He's in love with the girl that time forgot.

She just shuts her ears.

She's fallen too far, with salt in her scars.

Won't let him taste her tears.

She's fallen too far.

The girl that time forgot.

Wasted moments.

Full of potential and torment.

An angel in disguise.

But he can see her Aberdeen heart.

That time forgot.

The girl that time forgot.

You let her go, catacombs.

You let her go.

You let her go, catacombs.

You let her go.

She just shuts her ears.

She's fallen too far, with salt in her scars.

Won't let him taste her tears.

She's fallen too far.

The girl that time forgot.

Stacey started to clap.

Sara blushed but smiled warmly.

"That was awesome, Sara!" Stacey said.

"Thanks, Stacey!" Sara said, smiling.

Stacey went up on the stage and high fived Sara.

Sara giggled.

"Welp, I guess it's my turn now." Stacey said.

"Yep. What're you gonna sing?" Sara asked.

"Whatever you like." Stacey replied.

"Alright." Sara said.

Stacey looked through the song list displayed on the screen.

"Hmm.... Oh! You should sing A Thousand Years by Christina Perri." Sara said.

"Okay." Stacey said, smiling.

Sara smiled back. "Good luck, Stace." She said.

Stacey smiled. "Thank you." She said.

"No problem." Sara said, smiling back. She got off the stage and looked at Stacey, giving her a thumbs up.

Stacey gave her a thumbs up back and started singing.

Heartbeats fast

Colors and promises

How to be brave

How can I love when

I'm afraid to fall

But watching you

stand alone

All of my doubt

suddenly goes

away somehow

One step closer

I have died everyday

waiting for you

Darling, don't be afraid

I have loved you

for a thousand years

I love you for a thousand more

Time stands still

Beauty in all

she is

I will be brave

I will not let anything

take away what's standing in front of me.

Every breath

Every hour has come to this

Once step closer

I have died everyday

waiting for you

Darling, don't be afraid

I have loved you for a thousand years

I love you for a thousand more

And all along, I believed I would find you

Time has brought your heart to me.

I have loved you for a thousand years

I love you for a thousand more.

One step closer

One step closer

I have died everyday

waiting for you

Darling, don't be afraid

I have loved you for a thousand years

I love you for a thousand more.

And all along I believed I would find you

Time has brought your heart to me

I have loved you for a thousand years

I love you for a thousand more.

Everyone in the karaoke bar started cheering and clapping.

Sara smiled and clapped as well. "That was beautiful, Stacey!" She said.

Stacey smiled back. "Thank you." She said.

"You're welcome." Sara said, smiling warmly.

Stacey got off the stage and sat next to Sara.

Sara rested her head on Stacey's shoulder.

Stacey blushed. She wanted to do the same thing too, but she had a nagging feeling that she already got someone she loves.

Sara closed her eyes.

"Hey... Can I ask you something, Sara?" Stacey asked.

"Hm? Sure, what is it?" Sara asked.

"Do you... have a boyfriend?" Stacey asked.

"Yeah, it's Mike." Sara replied.

"Oh. Well, congratulations." Stacey said, smiling.

Sara looked at Stacey, a worried look on her face.

Stacey looked at Sara, confused, then noticed that she had a jealous look on her face. She shook her head and smiled. "Sorry! I didn't mean to make that face. I'm happy for you and Mike. I know you two will have a great future together." She said.

Sara hugged Stacey.

Stacey hugged back.

"Stacey, you like me do you?" Sara asked.

Stacey blushed.

"So, you do like me. Well, I got an idea. I'm a bisexual, right? I like men and women. So, if you, me, and Mike do the same thing Vincent, Aiden, and Scott are doing, it won't be a problem... I-I don't know if you'll agree to it, but...." Sara started to say, but felt a hand pet her head.

"Of course. That's great idea, Sara. And... Wait. Vincent, Scott and Aiden are together?" Stacey asked.

"Yep." Sara replied.

Stacey fangirl squealed. "My OT3 is canon!" She said, jumping up and down.

Sara giggled.

"You know, I've always shipped those three together and for you to say that they're officially together is... OMG!!" Stacey said as she fangirled.

Sara giggled. "I gotta admit. They're my OT3 too!" She said.

Stacey looked at Sara, a devious smirk on her face. "So, what are the three doing right now?" She asked.

"Let's just say they're having 'fun' together." Sara said, smirking as well.

Stacey got the hint. "Hue hue hue!"

"Hue hue hue, indeed!" Sara said.

Springy tried her best to imitate a Lenny face.

Sara too tried her best to imitate a Lenny face as well.

"Hehe. This is just like old times!" Stacey said.

"Hehe. Yep!" Sara said, smiling.

Stacey looked at the clock. "Hmm... Are you hungry?" She asked.

Sara nodded.

"Well, I can get you something from the snack bar. What would you like?" Stacey asked.

"A grilled cheese, if they have any." Sara said.

"Okay. I'll see if they have any." Stacey said. She walked over to the kiosk where an old man was wiping a few wine glasses. "Oh~ Why hello there. How may I help you tonight, lovely lady?" The man asked. His tone creeped Stacey out. "Um... Do you have any grilled cheese sandwiches? It's for a friend of mine." She said. "Sorry. We don't have any. But, I can make you something~" The man asked, smirking. Stacey punched the man in the face. "Don't try anything, old man! I just wanted some food for my friend!" Stacey said. "Oww... Okay. I'll make something..." The man said as he walked to the kitchen. "Ugh... That man is so creepy." Stacey muttered.

Sara walked beside Stacey. "Is everything okay, Stace?" She asked.

"Yeah. Everything's fine. Just some old man trying to make a move on me. But, I'm okay." Stacey said.

"Dang, I'm glad you teached him a lesson there. I don't want anything bad happening to you." Sara said.

Stacey smiled. "Thank you, Sara." She said.

Sara smiled back warmly. "You're welcome, Stace." She said.

Later, the man came back with a plate of grilled cheese sandwiches. "H-Here you go, miss." The man stuttered as he set the plate down on the counter. Stacey glared at the man as if telling him not to do anything. He nodded, getting the message and quickly walked away.

Sara blinked, but took a bite out of one of the grilled cheese sandwiches.

"Is it good?" Stacey asked.

Sara nodded as she smiled warmly.

Stacey smiled. "That's good." She said as she took a bite out of the sandwich.

Sara smiled warmly, she took another bite out of the sandwich.

After the two girls polished off their sandwiches, Stacey wiped her mouth with a napkin. "That was really good." Stacey said.

Sara also wiped her mouth with a napkin. "I agree." She said.

Stacey leaned back against her chair.

Sara also leaned back against her chair. "Should we stay in a hotel for tonight?" She asked.

"Sure." Stacey said.

"Alright." Sara said.

"Shall I pay for the registration?" Stacey asked.

Sara nodded.

"Of course. Anything for you, Sara." Stacey said, petting her head.

Sara blushed but smiled warmly.

Stacey smiled back.

Sara kissed Stacey's cheek.

Stacey blushed, but giggled.

Sara smiled warmly.

After Stacey and Sara had fun at the karaoke bar, the two girls checked in at the hotel.

Sara looked out the hotel window as she removed her white flannel jacket.

Stacey flopped onto the bed, snuggling her face in the pillow.

Sara flopped onto the bed next to Stacey.

"You know, I've never been to a hotel before, so this is pretty exciting." Stacey said.

Sara smiled. "I see." She said.

Stacey looked out the window. "I saw Troy and Chirp in the hotel." She said.

Sara looked at Stacey. "Really?" She asked.

Stacey nodded. "Yup." She said.

"I'm guessing they were also hanging out just like us." Sara said.

"MmmHmm!" Stacey nodded her head. She grabbed the remote and turned on the TV.

Sara smiled and rested her head on Stacey's shoulder.

Stacey smiled and kissed Sara's forehead.

Sara smiled warmly and looked at Stacey.

Stacey giggled.

Sara smiled warmly.

Stacey looked out the window again. She could see the moon behind the clouds. "I hope Vincent's okay." Stacey said.

"I also hope Vincent's okay." Sara said.

Stacey closed her eyes and snuggled her head in the pillow.

Sara too also closed her eyes and snuggled her head against Stacey's chest.

Stacey hugged Sara as she fell into a deep sleep.

Sara hugged back, falling into a deep sleep as well.

*Dream*

Sara slowly opened her eyes, and noticed that she was in a dark void once again. She slowly got up and looked around. "Hello? Stacey?" She called out, there was no response. Sara was about to turn around, but felt her neck tighten. Making her eyes widen, she saw strings wrap around her wrists.

She heard someone chuckle. It wasn't a pleasant chuckle.

Sara began to lose her breath, drool running down her mouth. But, she spoke. "W-Who's.... T-There...?"

The Thing stepped out of the shadows. "It's me." He said.

Sara glared weakly at The Thing, but felt her neck tighten once more.

The Thing chuckled. "Oh, you poor thing. You must be in a great amount of pain. Don't worry..." He made Sara's neck tighter. "I'll put you out of your misery." He said, his voice lowered to a menacing tone.

Sara's eyes widened once more, she felt like she was going to go limb in a second. But, she saw Stacey behind The Thing.

"GET AWAY FROM HER!!" Stacey shouted as she hit The Thing in the head with a crowbar.

https://youtu.be/WlqrHg6hdVM

Sara fell on her knees, coughing and gasping for air. Tears running down her face.

"Are you okay, Sara?!" Stacey asked as she got on her knees beside her.

Sara hugged Stacey, shaking.

Stacey stroked her hair as she comforted her. She glared at The Thing who was standing up. "You little brat! You just have to ruin my plans, don't you?!" He shouted. Stacey held Sara closer to her. "I'm not gonna let you kill Sara! If you think you're gonna hurt her or my friends, then... Hehe... You messed with the wrong person." She said. She felt her neck began to tighten. "You shut your mouth! I know Nightmare doesn't want to die, so I wanted to kill Vincent for him. But you guys are in the way, so I'm just getting rid of the little pests that are in my way." The Thing said.

"Stacey!" Sara shouted, she grabbed the crowbar and hit The Thing in the head as well.

The Thing's head started to bleed as he stumbled back. Stacey got out her weapon and started to fight.

https://youtu.be/FxplhJA-GbE

Sara looked at Stacey, hoping that she would be okay.

"Heh. Just admit it, Stacey. You can't save your friend. You can't save Vincent. There's nothing you can do. It is his destiny after all. Even if you kill me, there is no way to save Nightmare. A fate where both of them live is impossible. Only one of them can live. If Vincent lives, Nightmare dies. If Vincent dies, Nightmare lives. It's that simple. There's no way to save both of them." The Thing said. "You're wrong, Thing. We can save both Vincent and Nightmare. Fate isn't written in stone. We'll avert Vincent's destiny and save Nightmare too. Just you watch!" Stacey said and sliced The Thing's side.

Sara glared at The Thing.

"Heh, you're so stubborn. Just like Nightmare and Vincent." The Thing said. "They're not stubborn!" Stacey shouted and sliced one of The Thing's arms off.

"Dang, girl..." Sara said.

"Agh!!!" The Thing gripped his arm in pain and he tried to squeeze Stacey's neck. But, it doesn't work as Stacey stabbed him in the stomach. The Thing coughed out blood. "Oh, does it hurt?" She asked. "S-Stacey, stop this! I command you to stop!" The Thing commanded. Stacey just looked at him. "Oh, you don't like that? Or..." She gripped the handle of her weapon tightly. "...Do you just not like me?" She asked.

Sara put a hand on Stacey's shoulder. "Stacey, that's enough..." She said.

Stacey looked at Sara. "But... if I leave him alive, there's a chance that he might hurt Vincent and the others." She said. "Oh, my dear. I'm not stupid like Nightmare. I'll leave him and his friends alone." The Thing said. "Are you just bluffing?" Stacey asked. "Heh, who knows..." The Thing said.

Sara glared at The Thing. "I'll be keeping my eye on you... And I'll remind you again, try to hurt my friends or my brother. Or Vincent or Springtrap. Or anybody. It's off with your head..." She said. She helped Stacey up and looked at her. "Let's get out of here, okay?" She asked.

Stacey nodded and took her weapon out of The Thing.

Sara hugged Stacey, and with that, both of them disappeared...

*Dream end*

August 17th

Sara slowly opened her eyes, she slowly sat up from the bed and looked out the window, she noticed that the sun was rising. Showing another pastel sky. She felt arms wrap around her waist from behind.

Stacey was hugging Sara from behind. "Morning, Sara." She said.

Sara smiled a little. "Morning." She said.

"Did you sleep well?" Stacey asked.

Sara nodded.

Stacey smiled. "That's good." She said.

Sara smiled warmly.

"Are you hungry? Can I get you anything?" Stacey asked.

Sara nodded.

Stacey saw a breakfast menu on their nightstand and picked it up. "What would you like?" She asked.

"Does cheese cake count as breakfast?" Sara asked.

"Well, if you want some, I'll get it for you." Stacey said.

Sara smiled warmly. "Alright." She said.

Stacey got out of bed and went to the cafe. The cafe had a fair amount of people in it and they are lined up to get their breakfast at the buffet. Stacey grabbed a plate of cheesecake from the stand and got some whipped cream. Meanwhile, she was thinking, "How did Vincent lose his memories?"

https://youtu.be/oAouvgjmGNw

Sara was looking out the window, remembering what The Thing said in the dream she had. She gripped onto the bed sheets tightly.

Stacey came back into their room. "Hey. I got the cheesecake." She said, setting the plate on the nightstand.

Sara smiled warmly at Stacey. "Thanks, Stace." She said.

Stacey sat next to Sara. "Are you thinking about what The Thing said?" She asked her.

Sara nodded.

Stacey put a hand on Sara's shoulder. "Listen, whatever The Thing said is wrong. We will save Vincent and Nightmare." She said.

Sara looked at Stacey and nodded, but realized that her face was leaning closer to hers.

Stacey blushed and backed away. "S-Sorry!" She said.

Sara was blushing as well, but she cupped Stacey's face and kissed her.

Stacy was surprised, but she kissed back.

Sara slowly wrapped her arms around Stacey's neck.

Stacey wrapped her arms around Sara's waist as she got deeper in the kiss.

Sara slowly closed her eyes as she continued the kiss.

Stacey ran her hand through Sara's hair.

Sara blushed a little.

Stacey broke away and smiled.

Sara smiled back.

"Hey, Sara. I've been thinking... How did Vincent lose his memories?" Stacey asked.

"We don't know, yet...." Sara replied.

"Hmm... Maybe he lost his memories after he collapsed on August 1st. Amy must have merged with Vincent's soul and as a result, his memories have been pushed out." Stacey said.

"I guess so..." Sara said.

"Well, it's only a theory. We'll never know unless we ask her." Stacey said.

Sara nodded.

Stacey's phone started ringing. She looked at the caller ID and saw that it was Mike. She answered the phone. "Hello?" She asked. "Stacey? Are you there?" Mike asked. "Yeah. I'm at the hotel with Sara. What's wrong?" Stacey asked. "Well... Someone... put trash in Vincent's mailbox." Mike replied.

"What?" Sara asked.

"O-Okay. We'll be right there!" Stacey said and hung up. "Sara! We need to get to Vincent's house now!" Stacey said.

Sara nodded as she quickly put on her pants, shoes and white flannel jacket.

Stacey put on her clothes and the two girls rushed out the door.

When they got there, Aiden was cleaning the mailbox, wearing a surgical mask. Vincent was on his knees, trying not to puke while Scott and Nightmare are trying to comfort him. Stacey took a closer look and saw moldy bread, a brown rotting banana, egg shells that is still smelling like rotten eggs, a rotting apple core, a bag full of discarded tissues and toilet paper, and a fish bone. "Oh my god!" Stacey exclaimed.

Sara covered her mouth with the back of her hand. "W-Who would d-do this...?" She thought.

After Aiden cleaned out the mailbox, he threw the bag of trash in the garbage can and took off the mask. "You okay, Vincent?" Aiden asked. "Y-Yeah. I'm a little shaky, but I'm fine." Vincent said.

Sara hugged Vincent.

Vincent hugged back. "It must be one of Aiden's fangirls that did it." Kevin said.

Sara nodded. "If those fangirls appear again, I'll deal with them." She said.

Aiden clenched his fist. "I swear, these girls have gone out of control." He said.

Sara nodded.

"C'mon. Let's go inside." Anthony said as he and Scott helped Vincent up and lead him back inside the house.

Sara looked at Vincent, worried.

Anthony and Scott sat Vincent down at the table and allowed him to take deep breaths. Scott gave him a glass of water to him to drink.

Sara looked at Stacey, she still has her worried look.

After a while, Vincent began to calm down. "Are you feeling better?" Aiden asked. Vincent nodded.

"That's good." Sara said.

"So, he's okay for now. But we don't know what The Thing or the fangirls might do next." Scott thought.

Sara looked out the window, remembering what The Thing said to her again.

"Sara? Are you okay?" Mike asked.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine." Sara replied.

"Are you sure? You look like you're worried about something." Mike said, putting his hand on her shoulder.

"The.... The Thing appeared in my dream last night... He tried to choke me to death... But Stacey stopped him.... He thinks that we won't save Vincent and Nightmare.... But.... We'll prove him wrong..." Sara said.

"You're right, Sara. We'll prove him wrong. We'll save Vincent and Nightmare." Mike said, hugging her.

Sara nodded.

"Well, if you're feeling better, do you wanna go for a walk?" Aiden asked Vincent. Vincent could swear that question sounded familiar. He wracked his brain to think and he remembered... a river in a forest...

Sara looked at Vincent, worried again.

"Vincent? Did you remember something?" Scott asked, concerned. "Yeah... I remember us going to a... river in the forest... when we were kids." Vincent replied.

"Really?" Sara asked.

Vincent nodded.

"I see." Sara said.

Vincent sighed. He didn't know why, but he felt so down all of a sudden.

Sara went to Vincent and hugged him.

Vincent hugged. him. "Sorry... I just feel so down all of a sudden." He said. "Well, maybe this will help you feel better." Scott said as he and Aiden kissed Vincent's cheek. Vincent chuckled.

Sara smiled at them.

Vincent felt a little smile on his face. "Thanks." He said. "You're welcome, Vince." Scott said. Then, someone knocked on the door. "I'll get it." Fritz said and opened the door. "Hey!" Marla said.

"Hey, Marla." Sara said.

"How are you guys?" Marla asked. "We're doing good. How are you and the others?" Anthony asked. "We're doing good. We're juts taking a walk around the neighborhood. You know, to get some fresh air." Marla replied, smiling.

"I see." Sara said, smiling back.

"That's great. We're just about to take a walk ourselves." Kevin said. "That's great! Do you want to walk with us?" Marla asked.

"Sure." Sara replied.

"Cool. Come on." Marla said. The others nodded and got out of the house. The others walked around the neighborhood until they went to the city.

https://youtu.be/mmOjCj3y8bc

Sara noticed the Karaoke bar that she and Stacey were in last night. "Stacey look, that's the Karaoke bar we went to last night." She said.

Stacey looked at where Sara was pointing. "Yeah. It is." She said. "You guys went to karaoke?" Jessica asked excitedly. "Yep. We did." Stacey replied. "Aww, I want to go with you guys. T ^ T" Jessica said, her face turned into a cute, sad face. "Don't worry, Jessica. We'll go there next time." Carlton said, patting her back. "Well, I got an idea. After we get Vincent's memories back, we can all go there together. Does that sound good?" Charlie asked.

Sara nodded.

"Sure. That sounds great, Charlie!" John said. "Yup. That's a promise." Scott said. Vincent smiled and held his hand. The late summer heat was making Vincent sweat a little. "It's pretty hot today." Carlton said, wiping his forehead.

"Think we should get some milkshakes to cool off?" Sara asked.

"Sure." Charlie said.

"Alright." Sara said.

The others walked for a bit until they saw a smoothie place. They walked inside where a waiter at the front desk greeted them. "Hello. How may I help you today?" She asked.

"Yes, I would like a chocolate milkshake, and..." Sara looked at the others. "What do you guys want?" She asked.

"I would like a strawberry milkshake." Charlie said. "I'll just get a blueberry milkshake." Vincent said.

"Alright, and a strawberry milkshake and a blueberry milkshake." Sara said to the waiter.

After everyone got their smoothie orders, they all sat at the booth.

Sara took a sip of her chocolate milkshake as she looked out the window, her left leg on the top of her right knee.

Charlie and her friends were chatting about whatever is on their mind while Vincent looked out the window. A little shadow passed over the table as a bird flew under the sunlight.

Sara noticed the little shadow.

"I guess the birds are really enjoying the summer heat, huh?" Vincent asked.

Sara nodded. "Yep." She said.

Charlie sipped on her smoothie while listening to Jessica talk.

Sara looked out the window once more, but began to blush when she remembered the kiss she had with Stacey at the hotel. She sipped on her chocolate milkshake.

Mike noticed Sara blushing. "Sara? You okay?" He asked.

"Y-Yeah... I-I'm fine..." Sara replied.

Mike held Sara's hand. "Sara, it's okay. You can tell me." Mike said.

"U-Uhm... W-Well...." Sara looked at Stacey, her face saying. 'Help me!!!!'

"We just hung out. No big deal." Stacey said to Mike.

Sara nodded.

"Oh really? Did you two do anything while I was sleeping?" Mike asked. Sara and Stacey instantly grew nervous. "Michael, it's their privacy." Charlie said.

Sara slowly removed her white flannel jacket and wrapped it around her face, covering her now red face.

"Come on, Mike. Leave her alone." Scott said. "Alright, alright." Mike said and sipped on his smoothie.

Sara slowly removed her white flannel off her face and sipped on her chocolate milkshake again.

Charlie leaned back against her chair and looked up at the ceiling.

Sara looked at the ceiling as well.

"Hey, Aiden. What day is it today?" Mike asked. Aiden checked the date on his phone. "It's August 17th." He said.

"We're getting close." Sara said.

Scott nodded and looked at Vincent.

Sara looked out the window. "We gotta protect Vincent and Springtrap. We can't let them die. Since their souls are bounded for life. And we'll save Nightmare as well. We'll get Vincent and Springtrap's memories back. And we'll defeat The Thing. Once and for all..." She thought.

After everyone finished their smoothies, everyone walked out of the building. Charlie was behind John when she felt a hand touch her shoulder. She flinched and turned around, pulling off a karate stance in case he or she tried to attack her. "Whoa, whoa, don't hit me!" A man said, waving his hands defensively. Charlie took a closer look at the man and saw that he had black hair with a dark purple streak and purple eyes. "William?" Charlie asked.

Sara looked at William. "William?" She asked as well.

"Hi." William said awkwardly. "Hey. Long time, no see. How have you been?" Charlie asked. "I'm doing good. How are you, Charlie?" William asked. "I'm doing good." Charlie said. "Charlie, who's this?" Mike asked, looking at William. "Oh, this is my old friend, William." Charlie said, "Hello." William said.

"Hey, William." Sara said.

"So, what brings you here, ol' buddy?" Carlton asked. "Well, I was just walking around town, just enjoying the summer breeze." William replied.

"To be honest, I didn't expect you to be here, William." Sara said, her arms crossed.

"Hehe, yeah..." William said, scratching his head. "Well, he's a really awkward guy." Alex said.

Puppet looked at Alex. "He's just like that, Alex." She said.

"Do you think we should tell him about Vincent's memory loss?" Simon asked Sara. "No way! We don't know if we can trust him!" Alex shouted at Simon. Simon squeaked and got behind Lance. Charlie looked at the child spirits. "Kids, I've known William for almost my entire life. Of course I can trust him." She said.

Sara nodded while Lance hugged Simon. "Also, William. You might not believe us. But, Vincent lost his memories..." She said.

William's eyes widened. "W-What...?" He asked in disbelief.

https://youtu.be/oAouvgjmGNw

((Hope you guys won't mind. ^^;))

"Yes, he woke up at the first of August without any memories of the past. We already made a great progress on his memories." Sara replied.

"That's good, but... How did Vincent lose his memories?" William asked. "We don't know..." Mike said.

"Yeah, we don't know yet... But, still. We're working very hard on getting all of Vincent's memories back." Sara said.

"Is it okay if I help too?" William asked.

Sara nodded. "Yes, of course." She said.

William looked at Vincent. "Well, I guess I might as well introduce myself to you. My name's William Afton. What's your name?" William asked. "Vincent. Vincent Simmons." Vincent said. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Vincent." William said.

Sara smiled at them.

"It's nice to meet you too, William." Vincent said, smiling. "So, shall we get going?" Aiden asked.

Sara nodded.

The others started to walk down the road. Soon, they came across a trail leading off to the woods. "Do you think we should go there?" Fritz asked.

"I don't know. What do you think, guys?" Sara asked.

Vincent closed his eyes and envisioned the river again. "This is... This is the trail we used to go to to get to the river..." She said.

Sara looked at Vincent. "Really?" She asked.

Vincent nodded.

"Should we go there?" Sara asked.

"I think so." Vincent said.

"Alright." Sara said.

And with that, the group started their trek down the trail. Vincent could hear the sound of the cicadas chirping and the crunching of the dirt under his feet. Soon, they arrived at the river. Immediately, a memory came back to him. He used to play in the river when Vincent and the others are kids.

Sara looked at Vincent. "You're getting another memory, are you?" She asked.

Vincent nodded. "I remember... We used to play in this river when we were kids." He said, smiling at the memory.

Sara smiled warmly. "I see." She said.

Vincent took off his shoes and stepped into the river. "Be careful!" Scott said.

Sara too also took her shoes off and rolled up her blue jeans and stepped into the river.

Vincent smiled, feeling the coolness of the water against his skin. "The water feels so good!" He said.

Sara smiled and giggled.

Aiden watched the whole thing and smiled.

Sara looked at the sunset as she sat on a large rock.

Mike and Stacey sat next to her. William sat next to Charlie and John and looked at Aiden who was smirking. He watched him take off his shoes, step into the river, and snuck behind Vincent. "Hey." He said. Vincent turned to look at him, only to splash him with water. "Your face is dirty!" Aiden said as he started to laugh. Vincent was obviously not amused by this. He playfully pushed Aiden into the water. He got up as Vincent looked at him, a triumphant look in his eyes. "Now, it looks like you're the one that needs a bath!" He said.

Sara giggled at them.

"You little!" Aiden said as he grabbed Vincent's leg and pulled at it, making Vincent lose balance and fall into the water. He looked at him as he brushed the strands of his hair off his face. "That was payback!" Aiden said. Vincent splashed Aiden again. "You started it!" Vincent said as he got up. Then, the two of them started to splash each other with water. "You guys be careful, okay?" Charlie asked.

"Oh my goodness, you two!" Sara laughed.

Later, Vincent and Aiden walked out of the river, completely soaked.

"Welp, looks like you two definitely need a bath when we get home." Sara said.

"Hehe. Yeah..." Aiden said, scratching his head.

Sara giggled.

"C'mon, let's go, everyone." Charlie said. And with that, everyone walked away from the river and started heading home. On the way, Charlie looked up at the sky, letting the rays of sunlight shine on her face. She knows William still has feelings for Charlie, but she couldn't bring herself to tell him that she's in love with John because she was afraid it would break his heart.

https://youtu.be/Ku_a5XMTj5s

Sara yawned a little as she rubbed her eyes.

"Are you tired?" Mike asked.

Sara nodded.

"Do you want me to carry you?" Mike asked.

Sara nodded.

Mike picked Sara up bridal style.

Sara blushed a little.

Mike smiled and kissed her forehead.

Sara smiled a little and closed her eyes.

Mike chuckled. "She's so cute when she's sleeping." He thought.

A while later, they arrived back at the house. "Well, I guess we have to be going." Charlie said. "Okay. See you later, Charlie." Fritz said, waving as Charlie and the others started to walk away. Charlie looked at Fritz and waved back. "Bye." She said. The others watched as Charlie and her friends walked away. The others got into the house and Mike laid Sara down on the bed.

Sara snuggled her head on the pillow.

Vincent looked out the window, seeing the pastel red sky turn dark and the first stars come out. "I'm glad we had fun today." Vincent said. "Yeah." Scott agreed. He put his head against Vincent's chest. He could hear his heartbeat.

While Sara was asleep, she felt arms wrap around her waist, pulling her close to a body from behind.

Stacey was the one pulling Sara close to her. She snuggled her head against her shoulder.

Sara smiled warmly in her sleep.

Scott snuggled his head in Vincent's chest. "I'm so glad we made a lot of progress on your memories." He said. "Yeah. It's like the day I lost them hasn't even existed at all." Vincent said.

Puppet smiled at Scott and Vincent.

"I hope all of this gets resolved soon. I-I don't want to die." Vincent said. "It's okay. We'll save both you and Nightmare. I promise. If The Thing or the fangirls try to hurt you, I will make them wish they never messed with you. Me and the others are here for you. No matter what happens, we're here to protect you." Scott said, holding Vincent's hand. Vincent smiled. "You already protected me. You and the others saved me a lot of times. That alone shows that you're keeping your promise. I'll do whatever I can to help you too." He said.

Puppet smiled at them, she almost felt a tear fall from her cheek. But, she wiped it away. She saw Springy beside her.

Springy smiled a little and held Puppet's hand.

Puppet smiled warmly and held Springy's hand in return.

Vincent saw Puppet and Springy and smiled. "Thank you." He said.

Puppet smiled back. "You're welcome, Vincent." She said.

Vincent closed his eyes and started to drift off to sleep. Then, he faintly heard something. He couldn't figure out what it was, but from the steady beeping, he could tell that it was a heart monitor. "Huh...? Am I... in a hospital...? Is this after the springlock incident...?" He thought. He felt someone hold his hand. Then... He heard Scott's voice.

https://youtu.be/u2KWgy39ODk

"Hey... Can you hear me...? I... I don't know if you can hear me... I-I'm sorry... I'm sorry I wasn't there for you when it happened... I'm sorry... *sniff* I-I just want you to wake up... Please... Please wake up..."

"Huh...? Scott...? What are you apologizing for...? It's okay... Whatever it is, I forgive you..." Vincent thought. He wondered what happened. "Scott said he wasn't there for me when... something happened. It can't be the springlock incident... Scott was there to help me when it happened... But if it's not the incident... Then, what is it...?" Vincent thought for a long moment.

Puppet was beside Scott, tears streaming from her face as her face was buried in Springy's shoulder.

Springy was rubbing Puppet's back as the others were crowded around the bed. Jeremy was sobbing in Mike's shoulder while Aiden hung his head low, his hair covering his eyes. "Why...? Why did this have to happen...? Why?!" He sobbed. The tears that fell from his face landed on the bed sheets.

Sara was sobbing on Stacey's shoulder, she was shaking.

Stacey was rubbing Sara's back as tears were streaming down her face. Nigel was trying to explain to the police officers what happened as Riley was shaking. The nurse came into the room and told them that visiting hours are over.

Once Sara and the others left the room. Sara looked at Vincent, whispering. "I'm sorry this happened to you...."

Vincent shot his eyes open and looked around. He was back in his own room. "Vincent? What's wrong?" Scott asked, concerned. "Huh? Oh... Nothing." Vincent replied, looking away. "Are you sure? It looked like you were having a nightmare." Scott said.

Puppet sat next to Vincent. "Vincent, you can tell us if you had a nightmare." She said.

Vincent took a deep breath. "Okay. Well, I was in darkness. I couldn't see anything and then, I thought I heard something... like a heart monitor. Then, I heard Scott's voice. He was saying that he's sorry he wasn't there for me when something happened. But, I don't know what happened that would get him to say that." He explained.

Puppet's eyes widened. She looked at Scott.

Scott's eyes widened as well. He started to recall what happened. Vincent collapsing at work, the date "August 1st"... The accident. He hugged Vincent. "It's okay, Vincent. It was just a nightmare. You're safe now." Scott said, rubbing his back.

Nightmare was watching the whole thing and he looked down, remembering the events that happened. "So, Scott is remembering what happened to Vincent in the original world... And so is Puppet. But why is Vincent... remembering that event too?" He thought.

Puppet looked at Nightmare, a worried look on her face.

"Puppet, can we talk?" Nightmare asked.

Puppet nodded in reply.

Nightmare and Puppet went up to the roof of the house. Nightmare sat on the edge of the building, letting his hair flow in the wind.

Puppet sat next to him.

Nightmare looked up at the sky. "So... There's something I wanted to tell you for a long time, but... I don't know if you'll believe me." He said.

Puppet looked at Nightmare. "Of course I'll believe you! What is it?" She asked.

Nightmare sighed. "Well, I bet you it's really confusing, but... This world... is actually Vincent's original world." He said.

Puppet's eyes widened. "W-What?" She asked.

https://youtu.be/_JYHk_D5A44

"On August 1st... The day that Vincent lost all of his memories... He was involved in a horrific accident at the pizzeria. There was faulty wiring at the safe room and it started a fire. Vincent was in the room at the time and he tried to get out, but he was trapped. The amount of smoke that he inhaled had damaged his brain really badly and he lost consciousness. The others managed to get Vincent out of the room and they got him breathing again. But, he wouldn't wake up. At the hospital, the doctor said that due to the smoke that he inhaled, he had fallen into a coma. I was there at the time of the accident and I was shocked. Me and the others couldn't believe what had happened to him. After the accident, he was unconscious for 31 days. And then, on August 31st... he died. That was what occurred in this world the first time." Nightmare said, gripping the fabric of his pants tightly.

Puppet's eyes widened, she had purple tears running down her face.

"After Vincent died, me and the others were overcome with grief. We wanted Vincent back to life. We didn't care about anything in our lives. We just wanted Vincent to come back to life. My wish to bring Vincent back brought the attention of Mari and he said that he can help me fulfill my wish. Me and Mari have been traveling to different worlds again and again looking for a world where I could meet Vincent and save him. But, in all the worlds we went to, Vincent was paired up with someone else. In one world, he was paired up with Scott. In another, he was paired up with Aiden. And in all the other worlds, he was paired up with people that I didn't expect him to be paired up with. Mike, Jeremy, Fritz, even Kevin. And in all of the worlds, I wasn't supposed to exist in any of them. In every one of the worlds we went to, I would die on the 31st of August because I wasn't supposed to exist there. The amount of times I've died in these other worlds took a toll on me and that's why I became evil. There are times when I actually killed Vincent so I could carry on existing without any suffering, but Mari would take me to a different world because my wish to see Vincent survive had not been fulfilled. I don't remember how many times I've died, but what I do remember is that every time I died, I went through a horrific amount of pain." Nightmare said as he hung his head low.

Puppet wrapped her arms around Nightmare, pulling him in a hug.

Nightmare hugged back, starting to sob. "I don't care if I die anymore... All I want is for Vincent to live. That's all I want." He said.

Puppet rubbed Nightmare's back. "Nightmare, we'll save Vincent, Springtrap, and you. We're not gonna let you guys die." She said.

"But, Puppet... In all of the worlds where Vincent lived, I didn't exist to begin with. When a person who isn't supposed to live forces their way into the world, they are treated as a foreign body." Nightmare said.

"I know... But, we'll figure out a way to save you, Vincent, and Springtrap. I'm not gonna let you three die today." Puppet said.

Nightmare sniffled. "T-Thank you..." He said.

"You're welcome, Nightmare." Puppet said.

Nightmare smiled. He looked up at the sky and saw a shooting star.

"A shooting star..." Puppet said.

"I wish that Vincent will live." Nightmare said.

"I wished that you, Vincent, and Springtrap will live." Puppet said.

Nightmare let out a shaky breath. He knew it was impossible for both of them to survive, but... Maybe the impossible can be achieved.

Puppet hugged Nightmare again.

Nightmare hugged back. "Y-You're right... Maybe there is a way to save both me and Vincent." He said.

Puppet nodded.

"Thank you." He said.

Puppet smiled warmly. "You're welcome." She said.

Nightmare stood up. "Let's go back inside. We have a long day tomorrow." He said.

Puppet nodded and stood up as well.

The two went back inside and went into Vincent's room where everyone is sleeping.

Puppet smiled at them. Sara snuggled her head on Stacey's chest.

Nightmare smiled. "Vincent is such a good person. He didn't do anything wrong. Why...? Why does he have to go through so much pain?" He thought.

Puppet looked at Nightmare, she knew what he was thinking.

Nightmare looked back at Puppet.

Puppet hugged Nightmare.

Nightmare hugged back.

"I may not know why Vincent deserves all of this pain. But, we'll stop The Thing. Once and for all." Puppet said.

"Yeah. We will." Nightmare said.

Puppet nodded.
