Part 2; Chapter 4 - Don't Get Too Comfortable
(eyyy I posted on time :D)
=Nightmare Steve's POV=
I sat in my small room, at the dresser in front of the mirror. I huffed a bit, carefully brushing on my red eyeliner. I hated how small the room was, only 8 by 10 blocks. I finished with the red and moved on to use the black.
Yes, I wear some makeup. So what? It makes me look good, and if I do the makeup right, it makes me look even more menacing. I capped the eyeliner and smirked at myself. As much as I didn't want to admit it, I kinda liked the new haircut.
Elemental had made the hair on the left side of my head short, leaving the rest in a length that went just below my ear. I huffed again, a bit dramatically, refitting my now cleaned crown on my head.
I turned my head around a bit, admiring how the light shined on the gold, diamonds, and large red ruby in the center. I had gotten the ruby from an old friend of mine. A friend that was gone. I had put the ruby in the crown so I could always have something to remind me of that old friend close by.
So why put it in a crown? Why not a necklace, or a bracelet? Well, the ruby would be covered by my sleeves if it was in a bracelet, and the ruby set into the crown just really completes my look as a powerful king. I could be choked with a necklace, after all.
I ran my hand through my hair, the other resting on the dresser. I needed some open space, some fresh air. I decided to go terrorize Sabre, Rainbow Steve, and their stupid friends. Give myself some fun, maybe capture one of them.
=Rainbow Steve's POV=
Shark showed me to Sabre and I's new bedroom. I glanced around, smiling a bit at the fact that there was lots of color and a majority of blue and green.
"Geez, man, how much time do you have on your hands?" I asked, flopping down onto the bed with the colorful sheets. Shark laughed a bit. "All I did was decorate. Galaxy Steve summoned most of the stuff in by converting simple materials!" Shark explained.
I dropped my bag on the floor. Maybe the starry Steve was useful for something after all. "You know we won't be staying, Right, Shark?" I said.
"...What?" "In this house. Sabre and I have been talking about making a town, possibly near a flower field and some birch hills and a taiga. We're gonna all have nice houses, a wheat and carrot farm, a river with a connected lake and dock, a tower, and maybe even a new Rainbow Tree of Life!" I said blissfully.
Shark stared at me. "Why can't we just make the town here..?" He asked. "Listen, I know you're proud of this house, and you should be, but Sabre and I have bigger, better plans for a paradise and our futures, and hopefully happy futures for other Steves who seek asylum!" I smiled at the thought.
Shark nodded, as if trying to understand. "Yah.. That's fine, I guess.." He mumbled. "We'll make it happen, dude. I promise!" I reassured him. Shark gave a smile. "I'll go grab Sabre and bring him in here. He has a bag too, right?" I could tell he was trying to change the subject.
"Yah, sure, I guess. I'm sure you'll find his bag somewhere near the front door." I commented. Shark left. I laid back onto the new bed with a sigh, kicking off my shoes and watching them land on the floor.
I closed my eyes. I was so exited to get moving. I couldn't wait to start this new town, I couldn't wait to meet new, friendly people, and I couldn't wait to finally confront and get rid of the horrible villains trying to ruin our lives.
