~ Part 6 - Hate me ~
I entered the lobby nervously, it wasn't everyday your friends find out you used to date one of the most abusive and toxic overlords in hell.
But somehow, it happened.
I looked over to the couch, where Angel was staring at his phone, scrolling mindlessly. Niffty wasn't far away, her eye basically piercing into a small cockroach that was moments away to meeting its end.
I clear my throat, silently hoping no one remembered last night's events.
It wasn't often I would remember anything after drinking, but I could still distinctly remember accidently telling everyone of my remerging memories of Valentino. All I could do was hope no one else remembered.. But, as my luck goes, it wasn't left forgotten.
Angel dust looked up as I cleared my throat and, in that moment, I could see his face flicker with so multiple emotions at once. I could tell he was trying to act calm and collected, but I could also see a hint of confusion and disappointment leaking through.
Niffty on the other hand, looked up from the roach, quickly murdering it before resuming her one-eyed-gaze on me, smiling widely. "No chitchat! You knew a bad-boy! Tell me everything." She demanded, crawling up on me and getting her face as close to mine as physically possible.
"Heh- Nooo, thank you, sorry niff. Not going into details..." I responded, grabbing the maid by the neck (As in her bandana) and placed her back on the ground
"NOOOooo, I wanna know about the bad boy." She complained.
"You mean the psychopathic freak? Yeah, no, not going into that shit girlie." I gently nudged her with my foot, trying to signal to her to piss off and stop questioning me.
I looked over at Angel, who was lost in thought and zoned out. I stepped away from the cyclops demon and approched him, gently tapping him on the shoulder. "You alright, spider?" I asked, trying to be as reassuring as possible, trying to let him know I'm not like Val.
The contact seemed to snap him out of his moment, he momentarily flinched, before smiling sarcasticly and responding "Oh yeah! I'm totally fine." He said through slightly gritted teeth, not even trying to hide himself with an actualy conficing act. Let alone giving me a proper chance to continue to conversation before returning to his phone.
That could have gone better.
