Dale was on the motel roof that he was on with Sheila. It's been quite long since he has seen Sheila, after all, he did feel a small attraction to her. "I should've done it with her. But what did I know, I was a devoted moron. A fool." Dale said as he solemnly looked down.

"If I divorce her, I'd have nothing. I would lose Joseph, I would lose my lifestyle, and I wouldn't be close to my friends." Dale paused
"They might've known but they never told me." Dale was in the verge of breaking down.

He was so in love with the woman he thought he knew for a very long time. Instead of honesty and love, he was greeted with betrayal, lurking behind his back with his obliviousness.
Dale decided its best to not go back home, and just sit here for the night to complement his thoughts. "She might've called John Redcorn while I'm gone." Dale said bitterly as he stared at the sky.

It was morning. Dale didn't even realize that he stayed awake throughout the night. Dale didn't take his truck with him. Of course, he was hurt, he forgot to take his transportation with him. Dale sighed as he decided the place to go is the alley. As early as in the morning it was 8am. He was the only one in the alley. He popped open the can of the Alamo he brought from his way.
"Yep.." he said as he looked towards the ground. "Now I know how Bill feels."

"What are we doing at the back of my dang house man, I see ol Gribble with his Alamo. I wanna join him man." Boomhauer said. "Yeah!" Bill said, agreeing with Boomhauer. Hank sighed. "There's a good reason I brought you guys here."Bill and Boomhauer looked at eachother. "Dale knows about john Redcorn and Joseph." Hank said as he looked away.

They were all silent, not knowing what to say
"How?" Bill said as he broke the ice. "I don't know. I think Nancy told him since Peggy heard that from her." Hank said. " thats not dang good. I'm gonna check on ol Gribble man." Boomhauer said as he left, with Hank and Bill following.

By the time they reached the alley, they saw Dale sitting on the ground with his can of Alamo besides him, and no cigarette seen
"Hey Dale are you okay?" Hank asked with concern. Dale looked up and saw his friends
"You all knew didn't you?" Dale asked. They all looked guilty. "We didn't want you to be hurt. It was best to not let you know about this" Hank said.

"Well gee you were wrong about that. I ended up a fool, a idiot!" Dale said angrily. "Dang, calm down Gribble man." Boomhauer said attempting to console Dale. "Calm down?! You would be exactly like me when you found out your wife was cheating on you for 14 years!" Dale yelled.

"Now I know what it's like to be Bill! I'm upset, I'm feeling useless and pathetic!" Dale said bitterly. Bill looked at the ground sadly. "Dale!" Hank yelled. "Don't you yell at me. You were supposed to tell me." Dale looked at his other friends. "all of you were. We went through a lot together and known eachother for such a long time. Guess my friendship to all of you didn't mean anything." Dale said as he looked away

"Dang ol Gribble that's not true. We didn't want your dang feelings hurt. Your dang heart broken man." Boomhauer said as he attempted to reach Dale. "Well, it's worse!" Dale pushed Boomhauer away "Maybe if you told me when it exactly happened, I still would've made my life turn around by meeting someone who was actually faithful to me! I hate myself for letting Shelia go because she liked me for who I was while Nancy was busy fantasizing about Redcorn!" Dale yelled again

"Wait. Letting Shelia go?" Hank asked
"Oh I'm sorry, did I forget to tell you? She was interested in me for who I am, and wanted to have sex with me. But no, the blind and pathetic Dale had his eyes only for his wife!" Dale said bitterly as he went towards his truck.
Everyone was astonished. "Dang ol where are yuh going man?" Boomhauer asked.

"A place far away from here. I need a break." Dale said as he got in the truck. "Dang ol Gribble please let me come with yuh man." Boomhauer said as he pleaded, he was closer to Dale more than Hank and Bill, and this time he saw how hurt Dale is. He wants to help.

Dale sighed as gestured Boomhauer to sit with him. Boomhauer was relived and gladly joined Dale. Dale opened his car window. "Tell Nancy that I'm never coming back to her. It's over!" Dale said as he drove off. Hank and Bill just stood there, Bill shortly leaving to tell Nancy while Hank hoped boomhauer can handle Dale.

Bill knocked on the door of the house of the Gribbles. "Dale?!" Nancy said in a hopeful tone as she rushed towards the door. Nancy opened the door, only to be greeted with disappointment. "Oh it's you, Shug." Nancy said in a sad tone. "Dale gave me a message for you." Bill said. "What did he say? Nancy asked, hoping it's Dale's forgiveness. "He said that he's never coming back to you, and it's over." Bill said as he looked away.

Nancy slammed the door and went towards the sofa. She laid there as she sobbed, she lost Dale. A man she neglected her love for. A man who trusted and loved her, and she wasn't mutual. She wished she never told Joseph. Dale would've been here hugging Nancy, but he's gone now.
