Dale woke up with a headache. He looked around. He's in the room. This is their last day in the hotel, he can't go back in his neighbourhood. He saw Boomhauer who was next to him, asleep. The lengths Boomhauer must've went through to keep him in bed. Dale felt bad, god, he's becoming like Bill, he doesn't want that. He thought of Nancy. No, this is enough, he's sure she's off to Redcorn while he thought endlessly about her. "Goodbye Nancy Hicks." He muttered, taking a smoke. "It's time to end this, if she can't send me papers, shouldn't I?" Dale muttered again, not to wake Boomhauer up.
Dale got up from the bed, pushing the thoughts of Nancy away, which made him feel better. Boomhauer woke up. "You're up?" Dale said as strecthed. "Mhmm." Boomhauer said as he streched. "Boomhauer, I can't thank you enough for yesterday. Because of that, I know for a fact that you're one of those good government people." Dale said as he flashed Boomhauer a small smile.
Boomhauer smiled back. "And this time, I know for sure I'm over her, I don't want to end up like Bill." Dale said. "good t'hear man! Dang breakfast in ol buffet man. Y'coming?" Boomhauer asked as he got off the bed. "Yeah, sounds good." Dale said.
Soon enough, Dale and Boomhauer were in the buffet before Bill and Hank. This gave them time to get whats on the plates before Bill devoured everything. Just in time they got the food they wanted. As Dale and Boomhauer sat down to eat, they heard Bill whining as Hank was shouting at him. "Dammit Bill get it together we're here now!" Hank said as Bill stood there happily. "C'mon, git! I'll kick your ass if you don't!" Hank said, which sent Bill running towards the plates.
"This is asinine! Bill's a grown man not a baby." Hank said. The others nodded. "When are we leaving?" Dale asked, chowing down on sausages. Hank looked at his watch. "In the afternoon. Since it's 9:30, we should pack it up at 12." Hank said. "Well, sounds good to me." Dale said as he took a puff. "Mhmm." Boomhauer said. They all looked over to Bill, who was being pulled away by the hotel staff.
Boomhauer and Dale went back to their room. Dale was deep in his thoughts. Boomhauer noticed this and nudged Dale. Dale looked towards Boomhauer who looked at him. "Sorry Boomhauer, I got lost in my thoughts again." He said as he took a puff of cigarette. "What's troublin y'man?" Boomhauer asked Dale. "It's about Nancy. She hasn't sent me the papers in some time." Dale said. "I've been thinking of doing it myself, the papers." Dale said. "Y'won't go near those government operated jobs man." Boomhauer said. Dale flashed him a smile. "You're right I won't." Dale said.
"Yknow, I'll go as Rusty Shackleford to the court. I'll file a petition to the court, and they'll send the papers to Nancy." Dale said. "I'll be there fer y'man." Boomhauer said. "I'll do it after the hotel though. Bill won't be happy to leave the place early." Dale said as he shook his head. "Mhmm." Boomhauer said. "Y'know, I should find Sheila. She'll treat me better." Dale said. This made Boomhauer spit his drink. "no man!" Boomhauer said as he panicked. Dale raised his eyebrow at Boomhauer's actions. Boomhauer's the one who's most composed and calm of the group.
"Why not?" Dale asked curiously. "Uh.. be with y'self for a while before you jump in dang relationships man." Boomhauer said nervously. Dale was mildly suspicious, but let it go. Boomhauer was relieved. Dale can't get his heart broken again? What if Shelia is over him? He can't go through that heartache!
Boomhauer's thoughts were interrupted when he saw Dale in front of him, concerned that boomhauer was somewhere else. "Boomhauer! You spaced out for some time, are you okay? You're not secretly a robot are you?" Dale asked him. "Dang ol fine man." Boomhauer said, when really he wasn't.
