Dale drank the cold Alamo, giving some relief to his mind. "Boomhauer do you have any more?" Dale asked him. "No man. More should b'up in t'room man." Boomhauer said as he got up. "coming man?" Boomhauer asked Dale. "Yep." Dale said as he got up and went to the elevator with Boomhauer. As soon as they reached up, they immediately went to their room, as Boomhauer unlocked it.

"How much do these beers cost?" Dale asked as he sat down on the bed.  "Don't care man. ol Hank has it on his tab yo." Boomhauer said as he grabbed an Alamo. "In that case, 4 for me." Dale said. Boomhauer's eyes went wide. " No way man!" Boomhauer said as he sat down next to Dale. "Why not? What are you hiding Jeffrey?" Dale said as he got closer to Boomhauer, suspecting him.

"Dang ol don't call m'that man!" Boomhauer said, who backed up a little, his face light pink when he heard his first name. Dale decided to let him go as he backed up as well but still suspected him from afar. Boomhauer sighed. "I'm hiding nothing from y'man, never after ol Nancy one man." Boomhauer said in guilt. Dale softened up a little, Boomhauer was genuinely sorry about hiding Nancy's infidelity from him.

"Dang ol didya know I'm a dang ol Texas ranger man?" Boomhauer asked. "I never knew that!" Dale said as he was surprised. "So that's where you got your items from!" Dale said. "Mhmm." Boomhauer said, enjoying Dale's excitement. "Wait a minute... you used your ranger status to spy on me!" Dale said. "Wait what man?" Boomhauer said, confused. "Yes... it all makes sense now! I'm on to you Boomhauer..." Dale said as he watched Boomhauer. Boomhauer rolled his eyes on Dale's conclusion. "Whatever man jus don't tell anyone man." Boomhauer said.

"I won't... yet." Dale said. "Dang ol Gribble man!" Boomhauer said as he got near Dale. Dale and Boomhauer heard knocking. Boomhauer got up to answer it. When Boomhauer opened the door, he saw Hank yanking Bill's ears. "Guys come down quick, they're playing the songs we listened to back in the day." Hank said. "Sounds good man." Boomhauer said as he grabbed Dale. The guys were downstairs, having a good time. Bill was stuffing his face at the buffet, which Hank facepalmed to. "Ladies and gentlemen, now it's time for the most requested song of the day!" A man said as he put it on.

*Play the Song*
As soon as the song started playing, Dale got nervous. Dale liked listening to this song, but now the song is displaying his and Nancy's current situation.

"Where are those happy days, they seem so hard to find."

Dale saw Nancy walking towards him.

"I tried to reach for you, but you have closed your mind."

Nancy went past him like a ghost.

"Whatever happened to our love?
I wish I understood."

Dale didn't get what went wrong.

"It used to be so nice, it used to be so good"

Dale got montages of him and Nancy on their dates and their first 2 years of marriage.

"So when you're near me, darling can't you hear me S. O. S."

Her ears are only reserved for John Redcorn's voice.

"The love you gave me, nothing else can save me S. O. S."

It's true, without Nancy, he's feeling hopeless without her.

"When you're gone
How can I even try to go on?"

Dale saw Nancy leaving him when John Redcorn always came near.

"When you're gone
Though I try how can I carry on?"

He can't even carry the weight of his shoulders on his own.

"You seem so far away though you are standing near"

Dale got a flashback of him trying to scoot closer to Nancy on the sofa. Nancy would scoot away from him. Nancy would always be so distant to Dale, even when she was near him.

"You made me feel alive, but something died I fear"

Nancy's love for Dale died, but Dale still felt alive by his obliviousness.

"I really tried to make it out
I wish I understood"

He was in denial, but he didn't let it get the best of him.

The rest of the song was blurred for him. A realization hit Dale. He's becoming exactly like Bill. This is how Bill felt about Lenore. Disgusted with himself, Dale needed to wash these feelings away. Dale's eyes peered over to the bucket of cold Alamo. Maybe Alamo might do the trick. Dale went towards the bucket. He grabbed a can of Alamo and instantly opened it. He drank all of its contents in one gulp. Dale felt like he needed more. Dale took a couple more cans.

Boomhauer was looking for Dale. "Dang ol Hank have y'seen ol Gribble man?" Boomhauer asked. "I haven't..." Hank said. "Isn't that Dale over there?" Bill said as he pointed at Dale, drinking can after can. Boomhauer's eyes went wide. Boomhauer rushed towards Dale. There were 11 cans already tossed on the ground. Dale was holding onto his 12th one. Boomhauer took the 12th can away. Dale was drunk, walking funny towards Boomhauer.  Boomhauer should've known this would happen, he should've taken Dale away the second he heard the song playing.

"Just one more can!  I'm gonna keep it mellow" Dale said in a drunk state. "No man." Boomhauer said as he dragged Dale away, giving Hank the signal of Dale being drunk. "Oh come on Boomhauer! I feel so much better than usual..." Dale said as he got close to Boomhauer in the elevator. When they reached towards the room, Boomhauer put Dale in bed.

"Don't wake me up from this spell I'm under Boomhauer..." Dale said. Boomhauer just looked at Dale at what his state has become. "I know that I'll be ugly when I feel like myself again." Dale said as he felt his voice crack. "Dang ol Gribble..." Boomhauer said as he put a pillow under Dale. "My vision is blurry...nobody can hurt me, not even Nancy." Dale said as he passed out, lightly snoring

Boomhauer's concerned for Dale, he's hoping Dale will be alright. He needs Dale back.
