*_*_*_* Lizzie's Pov *_*_*_*

I wake up and the sun is barely out yet.

I'm staying in the temple with Joel but in another room.

Since I don't have anywhere else to stay.

The maids gave me new clothes last night.

I should try them and see which one I will wear.

I take a bath. And wear all the outfits.

My favorite was this one:

I wore it and I felt like a princess.

I slid on some sandals and put my hair into a bun.

I went outside and saw the maids and other servants.

They were bustling and hustling around.

I go near them and ask them why they were in such a rush.

"Well. The king planned a fiesta out of no where!"

I tilt my head.

"Fiesta?"

I say and they smile.

"It's a latin word. It's an event marked by festivities or celebrations."

I nod and thank them for informing me.

I ask them if they needed help or if I could help.

They shook their head rapidly and told me I should go out for a morning stroll.

I follow what they said and go out for a stroll.

As I pass by people they wave at me and smile.

I smile back. What nice people.

I get out of the town a stroll by the forest.

I hear murmurs.

I don't know where it is coming from.

Then suddenly. This part of the forest turns black.

I turn around and step backwards.

It's light again. I step forward.

It's dark. I'm so confused right now.

I put my body half-half.

Guess what? I passed out. And didn't know anything that happened next.

*_*_*_* Joel's Pov *_*_*_*

I woke up. It was around 6 or 7am. Really early for me.

I decided to take a bath and change into something proper.

I went outside and knocked at Lizzie's room. She didn't answer.

I wait and knock again. Still none. I opened the door.

And she wasn't there.

I feel bumps rise and start to worry sick.

So I went downstairs and asked the maids.

They greeted me and told me she went out for a walk.

About an hour ago.

She should be back by now.

I hurriedly go down the stairs. And go around the village.

Nope. No sign of her.

I go out and walk a random path. As I got a little more lost in the woods.

I saw a girl. With pink hair lying down on the ground.

Half white and black. And I wasn't saying that to be racist.

But she was like. Getting corrupted. With the dark side.

I move her to me. And see that it was Lizzie.

I move her a bit towards me.

She's really injured. What caused her this?!

I moved forward. And suddenly it all turned black.

I read about this!!!

In the forest. There's a part where it turns black and dark.

Then when you step back.

It goes back to Normal.

She must've stepped on the middle of the two portals or something.

For too long.

Wait. I remember what will happen if she doesn't get that medicine.

She might die or since she's like a statue she will crack and fall into pieces.

NO! I WONT LET THIS HAPPEN.

I get out of my thoughts and still realize that I am in the dark side.

So I get out and carry Lizzie back to the village.

People start looking at her and I hear whispers.

Behind my back. I'm disgusted. If they're talking about Lizzie behind my back.

They will be punished. I know that's too much.

But Lizzie is my best friend and girl friend.

And this is unacceptable.

That people are talking about her in such a disgusted manner.

I turn around and see them all stop.

I then speak up.

"How disgusting. You guys are talking behind my back. About my best friend. Whom is in need of great help. I thought you guys were here to serve and care for each other. But I don't see that. I can't believe that you guys are. Talking about her. And yet she did nothing to you. You're talking about her in a disgusted manner. Yet she is here. In a problem which might cost her to loose her life. Yet you're there standing and not helping me. I am literally. Disgusted."

I shook my head. Turned around as all of them walk away silently.

I start walking to the palace.

And there the maids help me and bring her to her room.

And my dad told me he will find the antidote of this.

And I know he can do this.

If this means I will kill myself. Just for her.

Then I will do it.

I would do anything for Lizzie.
