Jerome POV: I pounced on the mysterious figure watching me. The screams help me tell that it's a male, human too! Something was wrong though, the sound that was normally music to my ears now sounded like birds singing their song out of tune.

The horrid sounds finally stopped, everything was silent, so quite you could hear a butterfly's wings beating. Something was very VERY wrong. After looking around my surroundings and seeing nothing out of the ordinary I looked down to see what the human looks like, oh did my heart stop when I saw. It was him the boy I saw from three years ago, the boy who make me feel 'guilty', the catch that got away, it was Mitchell H.

Backing away quickly from the now bloody body, blood pouring from his neck, cheeks, and arms. 'Why did you stop? It's the catch that got away! You can finally show it that it can never get away!' 'But he, Mitchell, did nothing to him besides running away only to survive. Plus we need to find out why he made us feel 'guilty'. My thoughts bickered with one another, I shook my head the rid them. One thought remained 'We need him'. It echoed throughout my mind, like mocking jays, it just wouldn't go away. But I had to do something, and quick. I could either finish him off or 'help' him.

°«Mitch's pov»°
I couldn't see, I couldn't hear, I couldn't feel a thing. Nothing. It was dark everywhere I looked, but suddenly a wave of pain washes over me. My cheeks and arms suddenly had blood leaking down from mysterious claw marks. Most of the pain came from my neck though, blood poured out from what felt to be bite marks. But I didn't feel light headed like others would. The pain slowly disappeared after what felt like hours, yet the blood never stopped pouring out of the marks that mysteriously found their way on my body. I sat in the never-ending darkness, watching the ever-flowing blood roll down my arms and fall into nothingness.

\<Vikk's pov>/

After our fun by the lake I decided we should to leave for home but Lachlan fell asleep on the shore. His adorable little nose twitching every now and then. I carefully bite the tuff of fur on his neck and picked him up to place on my back. I walked to Jerome's cave (aka: home) in silence as the sun started to set, but everything was too quiet. I stopped and try to hear anything, and I did. It was moaning, coming from the now awake bunny on my back. He rubbed his sky blue eye and then let out a small yawn as he stretched.

Looking at my head, he blushes as he climbs down from my back. "V-vikk why d-didn't wake me u-up?" His tired voice stuttering as he spoke. "Because I didn't want to wake you up." I simply replied. "W-well you sh-should've, I didn't want to be a problem." He said as his stuttering disappeared. "Lachlan" I started. "You're not a problem, or did you cause any. I'm fine carrying you in fact I would love to help you with anything." I spoke truthfully. Lachlan stayed quiet and the rest of the walk to the cave was as well.

*§3rd pov§*

Everything was quiet in the seemingly peaceful woods as a small fox and blue eyed rabbit approached the dark cave, but something happened inside this dark place. The fox stopped but the rabbit didn't noticed until he got pulled back by his fluffy tail.
"Stop." Said the fox as he placed his two front legs in front of the rabbit. "What? Why? The caves right there, and I want to sleep." The small creature said in a sleeply tone. "I know" the bigger creature started. "But do you smell that?" The protective fox finished as he sniffed the air and growled.

Now in his tired state he didn't noticed the strange aroma that came from the cave at first, but now noticing his surroundings his small nose picked up the scent. The scent was familiar to him, it was the smell of blood, but he couldn't identify what creature it came from. He'd tried to think about the blood but his focus didn't come easy, as gowling was heard from above him. Finally it clicked, the blood was human but not the exact same as the scent he'd smelled from years ago. "Vikk that's blood is from a human." He told the fox which only increased the growling.

Vikk's fur stood on end as he growled. 'Humans are dangerous! If we go in there Lachlan could get hurt!' He thought. He continued to growl but stopped when he Lachlan walking towards the cave. The rabbit didn't know that humans were a threat, he thought they were completely harmless from what he heard from Jerome.

*@Mitch's pov@*
I groan from a headache forming as I awake. My eyes are heavy, my ears hear nothing. My eyes are the first to focus, I look around only to conclude that I can't. My neck was throbbing in dull pain whenever I'd try to move it. I groan once again but stop as I start to hear small, quiet thumping coming from behind. The thumping noise is quickly accompanied by another quiet but louder and quicker thumping noise.

My body sweats and shivers as the noises get louder and louder, I couldn't move because I was frozen with fear. They stopped and I feel something hop onto my stomach and inches closer to my face, it was a bunny looking at me. My nerves relax seeing that their is no threat, I reach to pet the bunny but stop when I hear a low menacing growl. I managed to turn my head to see a small brown eyed fox growling at me. Pain struck me as I try to move my beaten and bruised body, but was pushed down by the black fox which caused more pain to erupt. The bunny hopped in front of the fox as it came closer to me, as if it was trying to protect me.

I heard a voice but couldn't understand it as my vision blurred and head swam, a different voice that sound angry reached my ears. Darkness fell over me and I welcome it with open arms.
