It's had not so much as surprised me, but pissed me off that she refused my offer. I felt that my acting was done well. I played the caring and weaker wolf well, that I had no doubt. No matter, she would be mine soon enough and the power I would gain would be enough to finally destroy Jack. I already decided that I would not take over his pack or his territory. I would weaken the pack, destroy some of the dominate wolves and take only the females. The rest could fight for the territory. All I wanted was Jack's death and the power to take on any Alpha. Sam would give me that power.

Entering my office, Mr. Whyte was waiting where I left him. Walking to my desk I told him what happened with Sam. "You have done a nice job on her and she should be ready in two nights. I need you to take it easy on her, the way you're going she will be dead by then and that cannot happen."

Mr. Whyte sat up straighter and seemed to be thinking on his words before he spoke, "Thank you sir. Do you want me to leave her alone?"

"Oh no. When you have your time with her tonight Joseph will be joining you. They seem to have grown feelings for each other and I believe that will be her breaking point," my smile grew at the thought. "Keep the physical damage to a minimum."

Mr. Whyte's smile echoed mine. "Yes Sir. Um Sir, since you are pleased with my work...have you put any more thought about changing me?" his voice unsure even though his stance was strong.

I had been waiting for this conversation and had already decided that I would change him; he would make a great second. Obedient, strong and ruthless. "Yes, yes I have and after the full moon you will be one of us. Now go and I will talk to you tomorrow," I dismissed him without a glance and started to make plans for my upcoming mating ritual.
