Where am I? Who is with me?
"Brent? Is that you?" I rasp, blinking.
"Oh Sasha! I'm so sorry I let this happen to you!" His tear stained face cries.
"No Brent. What happened?" I ask, unsure of what went down with Jessica.
"You, you were shot, three times." Oh I remember yesterday now. Okay. Wait. Yesterday? Hmm.
"How long ago was this?" I say, confused.
"A year ago. You've been in a coma for a year. Long enough to find the murderer, cause he killed Jessica too. He was taken to court, and I haven't really left the hospital at all while you were in a coma. Just in case you wake up." He smiles. "Im glad that you're awake." He starts to cry tears of joy.
"Brent! Please don't cry!" I say, then I too start crying. The doctor walks in.
"Mr. Smith, we have to do an x ray now, so can you please move to the waiting room for now?" He says kindly, as if this has happened to someone he loved before.
"Before, can I see them please?" I ask, "see what?" He questions, a little alarmed.
"My wounds." I say simply
"They healed about a month ago, and I'll be glad to have him gone, we'll keep you here tonight, just to make sure that you're stable." He says, he looks at me, and points in Brent's direction. "But him, I don't want him here."
I grin wildly. "With the state he's in, we need each other. So good luck!" I say.
He sighs. "Okay. Just keep him quiet."
