"We have nothing, if not belief..."

THIRD PERSON POV

There was kind of a vale that came in their path. The other hill was pretty far that one could not cross on legs. The river was in bertween very deep. It would be a very long fall.

They all halted, breathing heavily from the running, wondering how to get to the other side.

"My God, my brain just told me jump off this." Anna said simply making the rest turn to look at her. "Right, sorry."

Will grabbed Anna's arm but not tightly and muttered, "not taking any chances with you." Anna giggled but turned serious in a second according to the situation they were in.

"I can get us there easily." Said Anna assuringly making the others nod but they heard something big fall and turned their heads to the source of the sound.

The robot had pushed down a tree big enough to be a bridge. "Or we can cross that." Said Anna and they all went over to the robot. Will gave robot a pat on his arm and walked upon the tree. Anna went next, Penny after her and then Judy.

Judy constantly told them all to move slowly and with balance. Will had his arms in the air as he tried to balance while Anna was walking normally on the tree as if she was walking on ground.

Out of a sudden the alien creature appeared behind a bush on the side they were previously on and growled. Robot turned to look at it, his lights turning red while the others watched carefully and worriedly.

Anna pulled out a small dagger out from her boot and held the hilt tightly in her hand, in case she had to throw it, but robot got it all covered.

Robot's lights were glowing red and he growled at the creature imitatingly, scaring it off. The robot turned around his lights stoll red. Judy looked at him cautiously but his lights turned to blue again making Judy sigh in relief.

Robot raised his hands up in the air like someone do hurrah. Will immediately caught up on what he was doing and did the same,"yeah." He shouted happily but he lost his balance.

"Will." shouted Penny and Judy. Just as he was about to fall backwards he stopped halfway there. Will breathed heavily and the siblings looked at Anna, who was looking at Will focused. She did that with her mind, saved Will from falling into the river.

"Its okay, I got you. You won't fall just dont move." Said Anna, slowly making her way to Will, keeping her full focus on him. When Anna reached up to him, she stretched out her hand for Will.

Will held Anna's hand and then stood up straighter with her help. "Oh thank God." Judy said in relief.
"You okay?" Asked Anna.
"Y-yeah. Thank you!" Will said smiling.

"Will be careful okay." Said Penny.
"Right sorry."

"And where did that come from?" Penny asked referring to the dagger which was still in Anna's hand.

"From my boot." Anna said slipping it back there. "You can never be too careful."
"Okay let's keep going." Judy said.

It felt like it was taking forever. Anna felt like she had been walking for hours which was probably true and knew Penny felt the same.

"Did Will just almost fell for the robot?" Anna said quietly to Penny, snickering.
She immediately understood the pun and laughed. "Anna!"

"Why are you guys laughing?" Will asked turning back to look at them. Both girls stopped and made a serious face. "Nothing." They both chorused together.

"Ookay. You know laughing for no reason is sign of madness." Will said raising his eyebrows.

"Well then join us, we'll be mad together." Said Anna laughing.

"Of course, and then we can go to a mental hospital together." Will said sarcastically.
"Its a plan."

And they kept walking but then they reached a beautiful place. It was a waterfall and it was breathtaking. Penny and Anna walked near to the waterfall and looked at it awe.

Anna took off her bag from her shoulder and opened it. Penny looked at what Anna was doing and then saw her take out a small camera.
"You brought a camera to this.... little trip?"

"Now I'm glad I did." Anna responded and took a few pictures of the waterfall.

Behind them, Will was teaching robot what are rocks and what are flowers.
"Penny, Anna come." Judy called out to them and walked forward.

Penny and Anna walked to Will and robot. Penny went to walk with Judy while Anna walked with Will and robot.

"Show me the pictures." Will said as they both walked. Anna smiled at him and showed him the shots she got of the waterfall.

"Its beautiful, I never knew you did photography." Will commented.
"Just a little." Said Anna and put the camera back into her bag.

"When we get to alpha centauri, you think they'll trade us for one of those family dwelling units in town?" Penny asked excited.

"Not sure exactly." Said Judy.
"Okay. I mean living in the Jupiter's fine. That's.. its okay." Penny said.

"You can have my room if you want." Judy offered.
"Where are you gonna sleep?"
"There's lodging at the medical facilities."

"Wait you're moving out?" Penny asked but got no reply from Judy. "What about you Anna?" Penny asked changing the topic but regretted it a bit instantly.

"Well my family do have house there but, uh you know." Anna replied sadly. "My uncle did say its great there." She said changing her mood. Penny hummed in response knowing she shouldn't press more on the topic.

Suddenly they heard someone say something in a distance. "What was that?" Will said. They all saw a group of people talking and walking somewhere.

"We need to hide." Anna said in a warning manner.
"Yeah we can't let them see the robot." Judy said agreeing.

The four along with robot made their way behind a few bushes and a large rock to hide, careful not to create too much sound.

"I recognize that guy. Thats our colony representative." Judy squinted her eyes.

"Victor dhar. He is a bit rude sometimes well most of the time maybe. My parents got to know him once he got elected, but not sure they voted for him." Anna told the rest. Penny told her how Maureen didn't vote for him too.

They saw how victor then scolded her son, Vijay to move faster. Once the group was out of their sight, the five including the robot decided to come out.

"Hey, get down." Judy scolded Penny as they all walked down the little slope.
"I'm down." Penny snapped back.
"Its okay." Said Anna.

"Hey I think someone dropped this." Will said picking something off the ground.

"What is it?" Asked Anna standing beside Will.
"Its an envelope. Should we open it?"
"No, its not ours." Penny said.

"Hey." They all saw the boy they saw earlier coming towards them. "Hi." Penny said smiling.

"Are you- wait windsor that you?" Asked the boy.

"Vijay! Hey dude." Anna greeted in a fake surprised tone.
"I'm sorry about your family really."
"Its okay honestly." Anna lied smoothly.

Vijay smiled but his eyes caught something that belonged to him.
"Hey that's mine. Sorry I'm gonna need that back." He said holding out his hand to get the envelope back from Will.

"Oh what, this thing?" Penny asked know the answer and taking the envelope from Will.
"Seriously give it back." Vijay said but Penny hid it behind her back.

They all heard heavy footsteps and turned to look at the sound, it was robot. Anna cursed quietly that Vijay saw the robot.

"Get down!" He warned and threw a rock at the robot which he caught and threw it back at Vijay like they were playing catch.

Vijay caught the rock back as Penny told him that the robot was with them.

"What is that?" Asked Vijay.
"Its kind of a long story." Penny said.
"Its not that long." Will said shaking his head.
"It is when you tell it." Penny reasoned.

"Hey,hey dad-" Vijay shouted but anna grabbed his arm and put her hand over raising mouth. "Don't. You'll regret it." Anna said ina threatening way.

Will watched her with his mouth hung open and also gretaful that she stopped Vijay from spilling the secret. Vijay nodded his head a little scared and Anna removed her hand from his mouth but didn't let go his arm so he wouldn't run away.

"Well that was... Here's the thing. We're gonna need you keep this quiet okay?" Said Penny.

"But my dad's in charge. He needs to know about this." Vijay said.
"No he doesn't." Said Anna.

"Yeah and your dad's in charge on alpha centauri, and when we get there you can tell him whatever you want." Said Penny smartly. "Until that point, this needs to be our little secret."

"I dont trust him." Judy said.
"I do." Said Penny.
"Why's that?"

"Because is whatever's in this-" started Penny holding the envelope in her. Vijay tried to grab it but anna held him back. "Is as important as it seems, he's gonna do whatever we say. So, do we have a deal?"

Vijay looked at Anna, who raised her eyebrows at him and motioned to Penny with her head. "Okay." Vijay said slowly looking Penny.

Anna let go of Vijay slowly, feeling a little bad for the poor boy. Vijay turned around to follow the rest of the group in a hurry.

"Bye Vijay!" Said Anna in a overly fake enthusiasm. Judy looked at Will and sighed.

"I didn't think we'd run into anybody." Will said defendingly.

"Its okay lets get this over with." Judy said kept walking. Anna looked at Penny who was still looking into the direction Vijay went, smiling.

"Okay there, lover girl?" Asked Anna smirking.

"Huh what? Oh wait- no no no" stuttered Penny. "Its not that."
"Yeah sure." Said Anna stretching out the e in a sarcastic way.

"Yes Judy I'm coming." Penny said and went after Judy.

Judy did not call her. Will heard at this conversation confused.
"Wait I dont get it."
"Aw Will, you will when you get older, you're a kid."
"We're the same age."

Anna just laughed and put her hand over his shoulder." Come on let's go."

The last part came know where they had to climb a little. Anna found it really interesting and exciting. It made her remember of when she used to go for hiking with her family and how much fun they had.

"My boots." Anna said sadly when she saw they got dirt on them. They finally reached the cave.

"FINALLY." Penny said dramatically. They all waited for moment until robot climbed and then decided to go in. It was really dark to see anything.

Anna opened her palm and closed her eyes for a second. She then clicked her fingers and a ball of light appeared on her hand. The ball of light which was like a miniature sun flew into the cave, giving enough light.

"Wow." Gaped the rest and went in.
"You think he'll be okay here?" Will asked hesitantly.

"Yeah I think, he'll be fine." Penny assured her brother. Anna gave Will a pat on the shoulder and smiled encouragingly.

"Its getting late, we should head back." Said Judy.

"Hey guys, where are you?" Maureen's voice came in from the radio, on their wrists band. "Why is nobody answering at the jupiter?"

The four looked at each other. Anna decided to answer thinking of something quick, "Hey Maureen, Anna this side, we're here but just a little busy. We decided to... play a game."

"Hey Anna, th-thats good."
"Yeah mom, we're outside and I think we'll  check and secure the pop-outs now." Said Penny backing Anna.

"Okay, it doesn't look like John and I are gonna get back tonight." Maureen said over the radio.

"Why? Is everything okay?" Asked Judy.

"We've run into a bit of car trouble, there's not enough daylight left to get a full recharge from the solar cells. So I don't think we'll be back till morning. Hey, don't forget to double check the perimeter before you shut down."

"Yeah we already did."
"I feel a little better knowing the robot's there."

"Yeah about that.."
"About what? Judy you there?" 
"We'll talk about it when you get back, bye mom."

"I'll see you tomorrow." Maureen said and with that Judy disconnected the call.

Will mouthed a thank you to Judy gratefully. "So now that we're not in hurry, we could stick around a little longer."

"It is getting pretty dark outside." Said Anna.

"Exactly, if this planet is that dangerous during the day,  I don't wanna see whats it like during the night." Said Penny agreeing.

"Fine but we leave at first light okay?" Said Judy finally.
"Thanks." Will whispered.
