Poem 63 || Goodbye
I watched with blurry eyes,
As the placid blue sky,
Which we used to know,
Fell below,
Becoming the vast ocean
The twinkling stars,
That had always glowed,
Drowned into the world beneath
The sun so bright,
Suddenly turned blue,
And your face did too
The crescent moon,
That sat alone,
Dropped from above
It became my own boat;
Allowing me to stay afloat
As I sailed away,
Into oblivion,
You could only wait there and remain,
While I called out,
"Goodbye! I'll see you next time."
