Poem 50 || Purple
Her world was red,
And his was blue
They met each other at the carnival booth,
Their eyes met,
In a mere second
Then he came,
Into her life,
As if it was fate,
Despite hard times
They had little in common,
For their pallets were fathomably different
Still,
They found something,
Within their souls,
Deep inside,
So warming and bright
But then one day,
He ran away,
Because he had decided,
That purple just wasn't for him
He left her behind,
A heart that wanted to cry,
A pair of eyes that would never see the light
He told her,
To forget about him,
To wake up in amnesia,
And to forget about every single little thing
For their colours could never combine;
That was just how the stars were aligned
Her head left blue,
Yearning for a happier tune.
