Victoria was calling Mike and wanted to tell him that she is pregnant. She was trying to call him again and again but nothing was happening. No one was answering us. At this point I seriously thought how fucked up things can be. Mike might not like this and may insist Victoria to abort the child. He is not picking up her calls and it's definitely a red signal. Sadly, she is convinced that he will be a loving father, which I know he would be but right now, seeing the situation he is in... I would doubt that.

I was sitting on my couch and just thinking about all of this. Suddenly a message pops up on my lock screen and I pick up the phone to see the message.

Victoria: "I need to meet you right now. I am coming to your house."

Me: "Okay, is everything alright?"

Victoria: "I'll tell you once I reach there."

I was having this weird feeling in my stomach. The one I get when I know something is not good. I hope she is fine.

Victoria reached my house and her face is swollen like she has been crying the whole night. She told me Mike's mom called but she is not telling me what exactly happened.

"Victoria, you have to tell me what's wrong. I can't help you otherwise."

She started sobbing and tears left her eyes. Her face turned red and he hugged me tightly. I was going to ask what's wrong but Chris entered the house. He was so shocked to see that scenario and quietly went inside the room. Victoria hadn't noticed.

"I got a call yesterday. It was Mike's mom. I told her that I am pregnant but she told me something that broke my heart into million pieces. Mike goes to a psychologist these days. On the way, a car crashed him down and ran off. He is in icu since a week and no recovery is yet detected by the doctors. The situation is critical..."
Right then I don't know why I just felt like crying. Victoria had started crying louder and all I can do is really give her the hopes.
