Shauntay POV

Weeks have pass and my life seem like it is changing some what  since that day. It has been ideal to me,  You know what I mean?? Oh yes sorry I forget you don't know. Let me update you.

Rajay has been secretly smiling at me at school. We might not have long conversations but we have our secret styles and ways to communicate with each other and it is so cute.

He would smile, wink, smirk or wave when he see's me and guess what no one else see's this hahaha. Its just too cute, I feel extremely special.

Oh shit, don't tell me I am on my butt again. I groan from the pain I was slapped with from this stupid floor. Whoever did this will pay I think angrily. I look up sharply ready to go on a rampage of shouting but was shocked to see the one and only, you may guess who it is now? Come on guess. I am waiting.

Geez couldn't you at least get it right. OK ok. I will tell. Drum roll please. Its none other than Rajay. Come on give him a clap guys.

Please don't bother to think too much about this, I have been going nuts for a while now. Shauntay shut up you think too much your hurting me my brain shout. Geez couldn't you have talk to me a bit more nicely, I have feelings you know I retort.

I smile up at him when I saw his face looking sad to assure him that I am okay. I thank God that no one else was around.

"I am so so so sorry" he whisper softly.

"You know we gotta stop meeting like this" I say playing it off with light giggles.

I guess he got the message that I am fine because he began chuckling.

"Yes. You got that right" he said sheepishly.

I then see him crotch down in front of me and extend his right hand out towards me. I look at it and then to his face. His smile reassuring me that it is fine, so I place my hand in his and he help me up.

We stand in silence staring in each others eyes having nothing to say but being lost in our own world.

"Can I have your number" he blurt out after what felt like hours.

My head begin to turn around swiftly to see if he was talking to some else behind me. Looking back at him I see his head was down with his ears turning red.

Dumbass he is talking to you my brain shouted.

"Please" I hear him whisper.

Should I give him or should I not? Why is this so hard to answer? I thought.

"It's okay if you don't want to" he state with disappointment lacing each word.

"Give me your phone" I heard my self say, what a way to think about it Tay my brain tease. Did you just call me by the nick name he called me? I mentally ask Umm yes I did, my mind whisper.

Well lets get on with it I say not bothering to answer. I enter my number and save it as Tay then I hand it back to him. I see him smile while looking at what I did. I gave him mine and he did the same. I smile and walk away.

As I reach into the canteen and sit down eating an apple. My phone vibrated indicating a text had come in.

Hi Tay. Miss me?

If it wasn't Raj I would have slapped myself. Chuckling I reply.

Awee yes I miss you so so much raj poo.

I know I wasn't being my normal self but buoy this guy pulls out the best in me, not.

Aweee  sweetie, I will see you soon. Kisses.

Is this guy for real. I didn't know he had this side to him. It is kind of fun. I continue playing his stupid game with a goofy smile on my face.

Ewww that's gross. That's a lot of saliva and all. Just nasty ewww.

I laugh at that retort.

You wound me. You so like it. Stop acting like you don't.

I bet he is smirking with that reply.

If that makes you sleep at nights.
Gotta go to class later.

I got up and head to class. Upon reaching my class and sitting in my seat my phone vibrate once again. I took my phone out of my pocket and open it to see a text from Rajay.

Have a nice day. Don't day dream about me too much.

I smile at seeing this.

As if. Have a nice day don't drool too much when you're remembering my beautiful face. I will soon be there to hug away your fears.

That response was great I smiled to myself while putting my phone away.

My history class pass by without me even noticing. As I said before I am always lost in my own bubble but not to worry I always pass all of my classes.

Rajay POV

Its been two weeks since I have been texting Shauntay and we have been getting along well I think. We often throw insults at each other but it seems fun to us.

I haven't spoken to her face to face but I smile at her and wink at times whenever I see her. I think I am not ready for the next step as yet.

Remember I am from the popular table and she is from the way below unpopular table. At least she isn't classed my brain say. Well that's true I reply. I often see her by herself reading and eating.

I head to my table with my tray of food in my hand. Upon reaching I hear Jason ask

"What's up mate?"

I took a seat and bit into my sandwich before answering.

"I am hungry as you can see. But I am good man. What's up with you guys?" I question still eating not giving them all my attention.

"We are going to a party tonight"  I hear Rayon say.

I shake my head and smirk mumbling an okay while continue eating. I was lost in thought while the guys kept talking after that.

After about 5 minutes I hear silence. Wondering what was wrong I look up and to my surprise I saw her. She look at me smiling.

"Hey" she say softly.

I never thought she would do this. I was dumbstruck to even answer her. All I could do is just stare and not moving.

"Who are you?" I heard Rayon ask.

"Never mind that question. What are you even doing at our table." Jason snicker.

I saw her avert her eyes from them and back to me for help but I couldn't say anything. I just smile it off to not let these guys ask too many questions.

"Move" I heard Rayon say.

I could see the hurt in her eyes but I try to avoid her eyes after that. When I look up I saw a glimpse of unshed tear. While she hurriedly run away.

"Man. Who does she think she is?" I hear Jason joke.

"Some dumb ass. Trying to get popular" Rayon shot back laughing.

I force a smile on my face to not let them second guess and ask questions I have no intention to answer.

I know I am a big idiot for not saying anything but I didn't know what to say or do. I know she will never talk to me again. Sighing I think I lost my appetite. I just head to my remaining classes after throwing the garbage away.
