IV
I stopped by Daniel's house today.
His parents finally got a divorce.
Life seemed to be going good for them.
Small smiles painted their lips as they expressed their gratitude
to the ones that showed in Daniel's remembrance.
I stood on the back patio,
looking out to where Daniel's body used to lay.
His mother came up to me.
It's time for you to move on, Sarah.
Her words echoed in my head.
We'll always remember him,
but we want his memory thrive,
not to live in vain. Move on.
Move on.
Move on...
~Sarah
