Eventually, the discovery of Sapnap's bandana was widespread, and Bad was broken. His son, who he thought would survive longer than he would, was gone, leaving him pretty much alone. Sure he had Skeppy, but his lover was even more broken than he was, as Skeppy had spent Twentyfour/Seven with Sapnap when the blazeling was younger. The demon couldn't go to the diamond, as the other depended on him to stay strong for the both of them.

But, the true fear settled in everyone when they realized both deaths had to have occurred around the same time, but in different places. This is because every single time, when they found the body, they'd be removed, not before. This also meant the murderer had some form of strength, or one of their victims was unable to move when attacked. Panic was setting in as everyone blamed each other, or tried to find out the murderer. Most of them knew they were a hermit, which caused the hermits to be unable to trust their friends.

As they came to multiple realizations, they also came to a few conclusions. These being that 'the bodies, if separated, have to be found within the same timeframe, or one will disappear,' 'The murderer is able to do multiple kills', and that the murderer seemingly cannot remember anything. Of course, the last one they sort of already knew, but it was now even more apparent, which meant that anything they could've used as an indicator someone wasn't the murderer was all false. This also made it so the murderer could be anyone. With this information, they could only deduce that two people weren't the murderer, as Grian had disappeared, so he could be dead, and that Dream couldn't due to the fact he's in a coma, and well, a SMPer.

As they all came together to work on this, the murderer decided to wait for their next kill, as they watched through their host's eyes. They knew it would be dangerous, but as they did, they planned their next victim, who they knew would be alone soon. Of course, they could always kill Dream, but for now, he is the backup, for when they are unable to make a kill. Despite their host's eyes not moving, they scanned the room, watching as everyone interacted. They were planning each and every move, before sinking back into the host's mind.
