Phoenix watched coyly as the man strode back down the stairs, keeping his head down. His 'Edgeworth' attire had been taken off, and he now bore a plain grey shirt, baggy darker grey jeans, scruffy trainers and scruffy brown hair. His eyes were still the same shade of grey, so the defence attorney assumed that he hadn't been wearing contact lenses, after all. The man was also now equipped with some sort of thick rope, which he was cradling in his arms, as he swaggered down the uneven wooden steps. As he arrived about a foot away from him Phoenix innocently stole a glance up at him, blushing bashfully as he noticed the other man's stern eyes meet his.
"Lift your hands."
"B-"
"Lift your hands." He repeated stiffly as the defence attorney stopped stammering, silenced by the kidnapper's threatening tone and his previous physical abuse towards him, and shyly raised his badly bruised and slightly scabbed arms up towards him.
"Put them together." Phoenix bit his lip and forced his arms together as hard as he could, wincing and shrinking back as the pain from his bruises blossomed as they touched each other. He shivered, suddenly feeling surprisingly cold, as the other man knelt down and began to slowly, carefully, tie the rope around his wrists, binding them together. The defence attorney frowned, wondering why the kidnapper was suddenly being so gentle with him after his previous aggressive nature. Once they were tied, though, the man stood up and straightened his clothing, producing a damp, light blue, cloth from his left hand pocket and kneeling down, his face a mere inch away from the defence attorney's.
"Wh-Why are y-you s-suddenly being s-so gentle w-with me..?" Phoenix croaked quietly, his cheeks heating up as his chin was instantly lifted and his face was jerked sideways, forcing his eyes to water slightly as his bruised neck was lightly patted with the item, leaving cold wet trails upon his tender skin.
"It's not like I want to." The kidnapper stopped dabbing the defence attorney's neck for a moment to slowly trace the outline of Phoenix's stark Adam's apple, as if secretly admiring it, his touch a mere ghost in comparison to earlier.
"Th-Then why?"
"It is not your place to be questioning me." He suddenly snapped, narrowing his eyes and moving onto the defence attorney's soft, battered, cheeks which he'd previously slapped and allowing Phoenix's chin down so that he could see his face better.
"Please," The defence attorney pleaded, using those doting, puppy-like eyes which always melted Edgeworth's concentration (however it was not like the prosecutor could concentrate on anything provided that Phoenix was even stood in the same room as him, anyway).
"P-Please can I just a-ask you a f-few things,"
"Hm."
"I-It's not like I-I can d-do anything with th-the infor-"
"Alright, ALRIGHT! I get your point already. Shoot, but be warned that I am the one in charge here."

The defence attorney curtly nodded;
"Stop moving, dammit, before I force your pretty rosebud mouth shut!"
"S-Sorry.." Phoenix averted his eyes ashamedly, still trembling slightly and going pale under the other man's firm grip and breath on him.
"S-So, where is Edgeworth?"
"Feh." The kidnapper moved onto the defence attorney's puffed up, sore, eyes. Phoenix, in return, complied and shut his only method of vision, grimacing as the icily-cold liquid caressed his eyelids.
"Your darling boyfriend? He's absolutely fine." The man spat spitefully.
"A-Are y-you sure? Y-You haven't g-got him.. H-Have you?"
"Am I sure, dimwit? Of course I'm blooming sure! I have and want nothing to do with your boyfriend."
"Th-Then why did y-you dress as him?" Phoenix shrank back under the kidnapper's intimidating tone as the man moved down onto his right-hand arm, allowing his eyes to open and watching as he dabbed the injured flesh almost as professionally as a nurse or doctor would. The defence attorney hissed in pain as the man clearly hit a weak spot, and peered over to see what kind of wound lay there. It was a small, sore, crimson pinprick embedded in his flesh. Funny, that. Now that Phoenix thought about it, he hadn't had any of these marks and injuries upon his skin until he'd woken up - bar a few of the slap and bite marks. He must have had a pretty rough time once he'd blacked out. He still wasn't sure how he'd been put into that sleep but, by jove, was he going to find out.
"That's none of your business."
"H-Huh?" Phoenix made a start as the kidnapper finally spoke after what seemed to be a millennia.
"Why I dressed up as that man. It has no bearing on your situation, so do not pursue that pointless line of questioning. Just because I am 'healing' you does not mean that I am not going to hurt or abuse you again."
"S-Sorry..." The defence attorney creased his brows in an apologetic manner before continuing;
"S-So.. Wh-What do you want w-with me? I-I know that y-you 'used' m-me earlier for your own... 'D-Desires', but.. I-I'm not that attractive, s-so I don't see what y-you could possibly-"
"You're wrong." Phoenix blushed all of a sudden.
"Wh-What?"
"I can't tell you why I need you, but it will all become clear soon enough." The kidnapper saw that the defence attorney was opening his mouth again and deliberately rubbed the cloth against the crimson pinprick again to force a small gasp from him and send his mind spinning.
"Is there a problem?"
"N-No, o-of course not,"
"Good." The man moved onto Phoenix's bare chest, a small smirk forming as he realised how much it would painfully pleasure the defence attorney to rub the cloth over his, previously forced by the kidnapper to be erect, nipples.
"U-Um," Phoenix bit his lip, racking his brain for another question to ask.

Just before the man could commit his next devious act, and the defence attorney could come up with something intelligent to inquire about, the two of them were interrupted by a shrill ringtone emanating from the kidnapper's jeans' back pocket. The man reached out for the device creating the noise, chucking the wet cloth onto Phoenix's 'area' to shut him up. The defence attorney whimpered in embarrassment and widened his eyes bashfully, deciding it best not to move the item for fear of being punished. Phoenix, instead, directed his attention to listening in on the man's conversation (the device making the noise had turned out to he his mobile phone, and he'd seemingly been called by somebody).
"What." The kidnapper growled as he lifted the item to his ear. Unfortunately, there was too much feedback on the other end of the line for Phoenix to be able to hear what the caller was saying. The kidnapper stayed silent for a moment, listening intently, with a grave face.
"Well? What the heck do you expect me to do about it!" He sighed, clearly not noticing the defence attorney lean forward curiously.
"No, no. Yes.. Ugh. I KNOW. Look, just do your job, alright! Just get it for me. Asap."

More muffled speaking from the caller..

"Wait, WHAT." The man roared;
"You mean THAT thing? You FOOL! Don't you realise that this was our big break? With him, we might finally make a few million bucks! What do you mean 'HOW'! Ugh. ... If that's the case we don't have time!" Then there was a long pause;
"You idiot." The kidnapper snarled, slamming his finger aggressively down on the bright red 'end call' button and turning back to Phoenix - who had conveniently placed himself back in the position he'd been in before the man had taken the call.
"Wh-What was that all about?" The defence attorney stuttered innocently.
"Oh, crap." The kidnapper stuffed his phone back in his pocket hurriedly and snatched a small vial from his front pocket, pouring it's liquid into the lid of the container and holding it out to the unsuspecting defence attorney.

"Drink this. We're leaving."
