Tracy's POV

The day was good so far and Christian was proving to be more of a gentleman with the simple things he had done for me. From carrying me to bed last night to breakfast and cleaning up this morning. He even saw how uncomfortable i was showing off my skin and gave me his shirt. It smelled like him and i found myself sniffing it for comfort more than once.

The conversation we had before driving here had made me feel at ease about having him back in my life and the possibilities of us having a future. That should have been the cream to the already delicious cake but he allowed me to drive his car and i loved every minute of it.

Now here i was strolling through the park with Christian's hand in mine playing the different games. We had separated with the horny couple but had agreed to meet up by the car at the pizza hut for dinner at nine. I hadn't been this happy in a long time .

I then realized that we had stopped walking or that Christian had and i still was until he pulled me back.

"You should really stop zoning out. Its making me feel as if am boring you or something."Christian sounded hurt.

I didn't know why he would think that until i saw the corner of his lips twitch and know he was faking it.

I smiled back"Am sorry i just cant remember the last time i had this much fun. Scola tries to drag me to the parties she goes to but i hate crowds and lots of people."

"You do know that we are in a crowd right now right?" he looks at me puzzled.

"Yeah i know hence this." i lift our intertwined hands.

"Well i promise to not let go if you won't." he assures me.

"Your stuck with me." i smile as we walk to the next ride.

The next ride looks like a a windmill and totally unsafe which is what am going for today, a crazy adventure. Christian as usual pays and we get on board.

"This looks very unsafe. Why couldn't we just go to the ferris wheel?" i think i hear a little shaking in Christians voice.

" Come on big boy i promise to hold your hair if you throw up. Besides we've ridden the Ferris wheel twice already ." i tease him.

He pouts adorable and holds my hand a little tighter not that am complaining or anything. The ride goes up and its screaming all the way up and even more coming down.

When we get off am sporting a face splitting grin and Christian looks like he is about to be sick. I buy him a bottle of cold water from one of the million carts in this place. He drinks it all in one gulp and looks a bit better after.

"Never again please." he pleads.

"Okay i promise. If i knew it  would  you this bad id have left you here and ridden it alone." i smirk at him and he playfully glares at me.

He clutches his heart as if I've stabbed him" And here i thought you liked me."

I laugh and drag him to the haunted house. I expected it to be more creepy but it wasn't actually that bad. I mean i only screamed once when i realized i wasn't holding Christian's hand anymore but that of a creepy looking zombie. I think i may have hit Christian when i saw him again but made up for it by hugging the life out of him.

"We have time for one more thing what do you suggest we do. " i couldn't think of a ride i hadn't been on today even the small kids ones.

Christian had to drag me away most of the time considering there were some games i had ridden thrice. He wasn't too thrilled about those.

"I have the perfect idea." he proclaimed and before i could ask what i was being dragged away.

We stopped in front of one of those games where you shoot something to win something in return.

" Really Christian?" i ask him

"Yes, now pick which bear you want." he gave me those puppy eyes for me to just go with the flow.

I pointed to the biggest teddy bear in there.

"That will be fifteen consecutive shots." the guy manning the stand said handing Christian the gun.

I didn't think Christian would manage but he looked determined i shut my mouth. Surprisingly enough fifteen shots later i was handed the human size Teddy bear. It was hard carrying it but i managed.

"Thank you Christian to be honest i have always wanted one of these." i really was grateful.

"Your welcome. I wanted you to have something to remember this day by."

" I didn't need a bear to remember this day Christian because there is no way am forgetting today." i smiled.

Today really was one of the best days of my life. Christian listened and paid attention to every single thing i said and catered for every need i had. I knew he was holding back because he didn't want to push me too fast. He wanted us to move at a pace i was comfortable with so it was up to me to show him that i was ready. I wasn't gonna do that right now, it had to be special.

Jesse and Scola were already seated in a booth when we got in. Christian pulled a seat for me and one for Mr. Bear before he sat down besides me. I still had to find a name for my gift.

"You get that and i get this!" Scola whined pointing at her small  teddy bear.

" Your the ones who decided to ditch us." i reply.

"Fine! Anyway we already ordered an extra large meat lovers pizza and drinks."

"That's good enough for me, Trace?" Christian asks.

"Yeah it's okay." i say discreetly trying not to sound too eager. I loved pizza especially one filled with meat and onions.

"So did you guys have fun?" Jesse asks.

"Yeah lots. Christian got sick a few times though." i ruffle up his hair.

"And whose fault is that?" he asks glaring while trying to tame the mess i made .

"You glare at me too much, wrinkles are real you know." i ruffle his hair some more earning me more glares.

I like messing around with it because its so soft and smells good too. Don't ask me how i know that.

"Not to sound nagging but why don't you two just shag already and get it over with." Jesse proclaims.

"We aren't horny dogs like you Jesse." Christian says.

"Before this escalates, how was your first date?" Scola asks trying to lighten up the mood.

"That was not a date." i say a little bit too fast and i do not miss the hurt look on Christians face. I didn't mean to hurt his feelings but that is not the way i wanted to remember my first date. It was a special day just not special enough for a date.

"What do you mean it wasn't a date. I'm sure Christian paid for everything, did things he didn't like to make you comfortable and even got you that gigantic teddy bear that i wish was mine." Scola asks.

Everyone turns to look at me for an explanation " If you must know i don't consider that a date because i wasn't officially asked and there is no way my first date with Christian is going to be at an amusement park. I need something more romantic than this."

"That's a surprise coming from someone who doesn't like all the hearts and flowers shit." Scola was egging me on to admit something i didn't want admit to just yet.

"I read books about this stuff am allowed to have dreams" this was not going well for me.

"So you will only go on a date with me if i do some romantic gesture?" Christian asks calmly.

"That's not exactly what am saying." i try to explain.

Christian is interrupted when the server brings our drinks. Its a sweet old lady who is smiling so wide am afraid her dentures may fall out.

"The pizza will be a few more minutes. You young lovebirds enjoy the drinks while you wait." she gifts us one more huge smile and leaves.

Her departure gives me a fantastic idea. I ask Christian to excuse me and before they can all ask what am up to i follow the sweet lady.

" Excuse me ma'am." i call out to her and she turns around.

" Hello there dear. Did i forget something?" she asks.

"No, i just need a small favor." i request

"Of course dear. Anything for a sweet young lady."

This was going to be easier than i thought. I explain to her what i want and she claps gleefully. She asks a few questions to clarify what i want before she excuses herself to do what i have asked. I walk back to the booth and sit down .

"What was that all about?" Scola asks.

I just smile and sip my coke slowly. I can feel Christian eyes on me but i don't turn to look at him. One look into those beautiful eyes and i will spew out my whole plan. I'm already making more plans in my head to support the one that is already underway.

Thankfully we didn't have to wait long because our pizza arrives.

"There is one piece missing." Jesse states looking puzzled.

"Forgive me for my old age excuse me while i go find it, enjoy." she walks off quick leaving three puzzled faces and a nervous one.

Jesse shrugs and picks up a piece downing it in five seconds flat. I guess i wasn't the only hungry one. The rest of us dig in except Christian.

"You should eat before Jesse finishes everything." i tell him.

"Its okay am not really hungry." he says looking forlorn.

"Well you should be hungry after eating this young man." the old lady say placing a single piece of pizza extra cheese in front of him. She then quickly excuses herself.

It would have been a normal slice of pizza but the look on my friends faces said it had more. Christian looked shocked while Jesse and Scola were smiling like loons. The slice of pizza Christian had received had a pizza saver on it with a paper attached with the words

"I know this is cheesy but will you go on a date with me? "

I knew it was risky asking Christian  out because its not conventional for the girl to ask the guy but this was my gesture to show him i was ready for this.

"Christian say something before Trace explodes from holding her breath." Scola teases but i know she's concerned. I couldn't seem to breath or move at all.

"Yes i will go on a date with you." he replies and pecks my cheek that leaves tingles in its wake.

I smile widely "Its a date then."

"Am so happy for you guys." Scola says.

"You do know i want it all on my first date right. The pick up, element of surprise and stuff." Christian requests.

"Don't worry i am going to do this right. Now let me eat am hungry."

Christian gave me a side hug and kissed my hair. That was his way of saying thank you i guess. I had never been on a date myself let alone been taken to one so this was going to be a good experience for me.

"What did you mean by your first date?" i ask Christian.

"Exactly what he says he has never been on a date before and has also never had s..." the rest of Jesse's statement is muffled when Christian shoves a pizza slice in his mouth. I wonder what Jesse was about to say.

" I know what your thinking and no i never took anyone for a date." Christian explains.

"Even Flarrie?" he nods.

Looks like i have my work cut of for me with this one. I was going to peel Christian off one layer at a time until i knew him like he knew me. Now if you'll all excuse me i have to plan the date of the year.

Christian and i had been left alone by the couple again for the second time today. They were trying too hard to make sure we ended up together. I was tired but i wasn't willing to say goodnight to Christian just yet . We weren't going to sleep on the tent because they were ruined. I forgot to turn off the sprinklers before we left for the park.

"I wanted to ask you something." Christian said turning to me on the couch.

We had changed into more comfortable clothes so were both in sweatpants and hoodies as we watched the big bang theory.

"Yeah sure whats up?" he looked nervous but i didn't push him.

" I know your not a fan of games or crowds but i want you to come to my game on Friday." he asked.

I didn't even have to think about it" I'd love to."

"Really?" he asked excited.

"Yes." i smiled at him.

"Good then we can go for our date after." he adds.

"Why can't we go on Saturday?" i ask.

"My parents are out of town on Saturday and Sunday so i have to watch my baby sister." he explains

" Of course. How is Leticia?" i ask about his baby sister.

He looks surprised " How do you know about Cia she's only four."

"If you haven't noticed Scola is a gossip queen so i tend to know a lot through her." i explain and he laughs.

"Yeah i can tell. Cia is beautiful and too smart for her age. You two would get along."

"Well i can't wait to meet her."

"Is that a hint to meet my family?" he teases.

"She's the only one i haven't met." i say hugging my legs to my chest

"She will love you and vice versa."

" I know i mean who would love this." i gesture to myself.

He laughs and i think i heard him say 'i already do' but i brushed it off and turned back to the hilarious series i was watching.

That was how we spent the rest of the night, watching comedy and small talk. I set him up in a guest room for the night while i retired to my bedroom. Sharing a tent was one thing while a bed was a whole other story. I removed my hoody and sweatpants before pulling a pair of socks and a white T-shirt i had stolen from Christians bag. I slept in the arms of my teddy bear wishing it was Christian but i knew we weren't ready for that yet.
