The heroes managed to survive from the myth monsters. No mortal with weapons can stop them but magic can since magic can penetrate mythical creatures.

"I told you more surprises would come in the way!" Blu Tembo panted.

"At least we lived! Worse than fighting sentimonsters!" Cat Noir said, banging his dislocated shoulder against the big rock to pop it back, "Agh! And yet no sign of the evil holders. Great"

"They seem too focused on their mission, Kitty" Ladybug said, her hair being slightly messy from the fights.

"Way too focused to forget we are here too in this jungle of death" Cat Noir goes near the waterfall.

"Yeah, no kidding" Ladybug fixed her pigtails.

"First try is always toughest, guys. If you want to survive, you gotta experience life in the jungle. Fighting akumas is always easy for you two. Agh, monkeys can be cruel to pee from trees. Grosera" Panthera jumps in the water to cool off, causing the paint marks to come off her face.

"Or throw stuff at us," Blu Tembo said.

"I'm not crazy with water but you all seem to know how to swim" Cat Noir jumps in too since he feels dirty from all his survival instincts.

"Yeah. And elephants love water" Blu Tembo said and he cleans the goo off.

"I can't imagine the myth being real. They say the Spaniards from the 1400s, maybe 1500s, tried to find the lost city but no one lived to tell the tale" Ladybug said before jumping in too.

"Most just suspected it was in South America but they were wrong," Cat Noir said.

"No wonder they want everyone to believe it's a myth so no man will ever discover it," Blu Tembo said before washing himself off.

"Don't.....move" Panthera saw something moving in the water, "Everyone......quietly......move out" Panthera said quietly to not make movements in the water to attract whatever it was in the water, "Quietly......and slowly"

They slowly got to the shore, hoping the creature wouldn't notice.

"It's big and definitely not a regular fish" Panthera sees two serpent heads attached to each other.

"It's a serpent with two heads on both ends!" Ladybug saw it.

"MOVE!" Blu Tembo shouted before the beast resurfaced and caused the water to crash into a massive splash.

"What the hell?!" Cat Noir exclaimed.

"The double-headed serpent! RUN!!" Panthera recognized the Aztec sculpture of it but never thought it could be real in real life, "They don't walk, they swim!"

"Get to higher ground!" Ladybug swung up with her partner.

"Panthera! What the crazy hell are you doing?!" Blu Tembo jumped to the rocks but the jaguar woman was gliding the beast's body to engage in a fight with the dumb heads.

"I'm trying to hold it off!" Panthera strikes with her claws.

"That is crazy suicidal thinking!" Ladybug can't just let Panthera fight alone.

"Let's help her, Bugaboo!" Cat Noir leapt into action.

"A cataclysm can work but we don't know what it can do to a living being! It can be dangerous!" Ladybug said before swinging.

"I know something better!" Cat Noir eyed a large boulder resting against a cliff, "CATACLYSM!" He touched it and the cliff crumbled.

The debris formed and Panthera saw the crack forming towards the cliff for the boulder to fall. The beast strikes but she blocks its teeth with her staff, straining from being pushed back. Ladybug and Blu Tembo helped with their strength to push the beast back but the other beast's head from the end was gonna kill them.

"Heads up!" Cat Noir warned them.

"NOW!!!" Panthera pushed the beast's other head for the humongous boulder to crush them.

The heroes dodged in time for the boulder to kill the monster. Huge water splashed like a tsunami and crashed on the heroes to become drenched. The water weight was heavy but they were still standing.

"Well done, Kitty" Ladybug said proudly to Cat Noir.

"A splash of victory!" Cat Noir said before hopping down, "You guys are soaking wet" He snickered.

"Yes, thanks for the bath, gatito. But at least the creature is dead, I think. They got no ass to be kicked" Panthera squeezes her wet ponytail.

"Nope, only two heads to be bumped," Blu Tembo said.

"I never seen a mythical creature like that. We are lucky to be alive" Ladybug said.

"Pun intended milady. But at least I saved your life for that" Cat Noir kissed her hand.

She pulled her hand away, "Thanks, Kitty. But I think you need to recharge since you used your power" Ladybug said.

"I'll go hide and feed my kwami" Cat Noir gets into the jungle to find a hiding spot.

"I still don't understand why an underage of 18 transforms back when using one power," Blu Tembo said since he never transformed back when using his power.

"A power belongs to adults, not teenagers" Ladybug replied.

"Age is a number, mariquita. Now how old a person is. Maturity and wisdom are what count to be a true grownup. Someday you and Gatito will understand" Panthera said.

"Okay," Ladybug nodded.

Then Cat Noir came back transformed, "Okay, I'm back"

"Bueno. I just hope those two are not getting into much trouble in the jungle" Panthera said.

Oscura and Loxodon were running from the deadly traps set up by the tribes in the jungle and it sure was insane to get by when there were hundreds of dead skeletons that came before them and weren't so lucky to make it on their journey for years.

Oscura swears in Spanish about the tribes setting traps for outsiders to never come into the jungle or face death.

"Herre jävlar!" Loxodon cursed in Swedish as he avoided the spikes.

"Move your ass!" Oscura shouted before jumping over the pit of snakes.

"Alright!" Loxodon jumped after.

"Get down!" Oscura moved him down with her to avoid the blades from the walls.

"That was close" Loxodon looks up.

"No shit" Oscura stands up, "Too easy for us, too damn hard for rookies"

"Another no shit" Loxodon stands up and sees the spear spikes on two dead skeletons that did not make it to the end of the death traps, "Heh, they almost made it but stepped on the trigger" He grabs the skull to play with it as in imitating how they died, "Agh, help me I got stabbed! Don't let my soul get damned! I'm too young to die!" He mocked.

Oscura rolled her eyes at his dark humor, "I'm sure that's not how they died in their last words, chico malo"

"I know. And I hope they never had the chance to be the first ones to see the untold city" Loxodon chuckled before looking at the dead skull, "Too bad you never got the chance, pal" He crushed it with his hand.

"It better not be far to El Dorado now," Oscura said.

"I suppose you can't smell gold a mile away. You only smell prey like a predator" Loxodon said sarcastically.

"Well, that's one problem" Oscura scowled and kept walking.

"Elephants don't hunt but I broke my nature code" Loxodon walks with her.

"And I broke mine too than hunt in packs. Don't get me wrong but you killed poachers in your way, I kill terrorists. I never got the chance to kill that ugly madman earlier because he had a miraculous of his own" Oscura said before jumping up to the trees.

Loxodon did the same too, "And bringing up a wish from those heroes we can achieve. If he was telling the truth, I know that manipulation. Never let a villain use our beliefs to get what we want because if we succeed, they will betray us in the end to claim for themselves" Loxodon said, jumping from one branch to another.

"Which is why I wanted to kill him but those other heroes got in the way. Purple Spots is so pathetic to think sparing him will do anything! I hate when heroes make dumb choices" Oscura scoffed before grabbing grapes from the vines, "But....the bugito and the dumb cat seem to know him more. How long have they spared him in fights?"

"Quite often. But they follow their moral codes" Loxodon guessed.

"Moral codes are like making wrong choices in life" Oscura scoffed and ate her grapes.

"Mmmmhmm. Well, the hardest choice I made was leaving my family and erasing their memories" Loxodon said.

"I suppose your family is your weakness and if bad boys come after them, another painful grief you don't want to feel again to be driven into madness" Oscura guessed he did that so he doesn't suffer grief again by losing his real family the same way by how he watched the poachers kill the elephants.

"Yes," Loxodon grabs some grapes too.

Oscura takes out the heart locket she still carries, the only happiness she had was her late father and her late dog. The only ones that she ever had until her grief turned into rage when she had no one except her brother and mother but she barely understands her grief. So she left the family after high school graduation and became an assassin to kill terrorists to avenge her father. Her dog passed away at an old age and she never blamed her because she was aware that her dog would kick the bucket and she did. Her dog was the only friend she had for 15 years but she can't do anything except let her dog be put to sleep and be cremated.

"Let's go" Oscura held in her tears before staying a menace to not show her weakness.

"Javisst" Loxodon got up.

Panthera and the others came across dead skeletons in the ancient temple, Spaniards led by Hernan Cortes, or filthy pirates trying to find the lost city but none ever made it this far when it came to monsters, death traps, or ambushes.

Panthera had a vision of the previous Jaguar holder like her miraculous holds every memory of the previous holders before reannouncing their kwamis. Cat Noir also had a vision of the previous holder who was a Spaniard and the black cat miraculous holder. Two holders fighting in wars but the holders couldn't finish each other off because of love at first sight.

"What's wrong?" Ladybug asked.

Unfortunately, those two have their eyes black like they can't hear them but look into the memory of the previous holder's past.

"What the devil?" Blu Tembo was just as confused.

"I always wanted to do this but not like this when he annoys me with his puns" Ladybug slapped her kitty in the face.

"Forgive me!" Blu Tembo slapped Panthera.

Both Cat Noir and Panthera fell onto the ground, snapping out of the trance.

"Agh! The hell?!" Cat Noir groaned.

"Estas loco?!" Panthera held her face.

"I'm so sorry, Kitty. But you were in a trance" Ladybug apologized.

"It's like....remembering the past. But it wasn't my memories but....a previous holder's memories" Cat Noir said.

"Me too. It's like I traveled in the 1400s, maybe the 1500s. There was a war, a fight between a Jaguar and a Black Cat holder, but then love at first sight" Panthera said.

"Incredible," Ladybug said.

"Wow, I guess there was chemistry in both felines back then," Blu Tembo said.

Panthera sees something like an ancient old map in the dead skeleton's hand, "What's this?" She picked it up and unfolded it.

It was the location of the lost city on the path they had to go through. Another left a note in Spanish but the handwriting is very old, "If anything happens to me or my men, tell my wife and my beautiful daughters that I love them so much. Julio" Panthera translated.

"Spaniards, I'm assuming," Blu Tembo said.

"Si. It is" Panthera said.

"It's a map. The map of El Dorado. These paintings are like Aztec or Mayan art. If we come across these idols, we go to the next ones which will lead us to the lost city" Ladybug observing the map.

"And these guys didn't make it for centuries. It seems strange that this map is still in good condition for the past 500 years. It doesn't make any sense" Panthera said.

"Yeah, that's weird" Cat Noir agreed.

"So far this is the statue of the Ahizotl and these guys only made it halfway" Panthera looking at the map.

"That means we have to watch out," Cat Noir said.

"The mechanism of the death trap has already been inactive for centuries. So I think it's safe now" Ladybug said.

"Espera!" Panthera stopped her and tossed a rock to trigger the trap. And several darts were fired at them but they dodged in time.

"Move!" Cat Noir activated the umbrella from his staff to block the darts.

"That was close," Ladybug said.

"Poison darts. I should've known" Blu Tembo said.

"From poisonous frogs" Cat Noir guessed.

"Or snakes I would say, losers" Loxodon along with Oscura on top of the ruins of the temple.

"Miss us that much?" Panthera glared.

"Hardly. Now be a good girl and hand over that map" Oscura demanded.

"No offense, assassin warrior. Unlike your laziness, it's called teamwork when it comes to strategy and solutions" Ladybug said.

"Shit it, Cucaracha! Where we go, we fight dirty and kill whoever gets in our way" Oscura extracts her claws.

"Cucaracha? Isn't that a song?" Blu Tembo snorted.

"Yes, Chico. But it also means cockroach she called her" Panthera said.

"Do not insult my lady you crazy chick" Cat Noir growled at Oscura.

"Aww....you don't like my nickname for her? We cats have nine lives, bolsa de pulgas" Oscura insulted him.

"Bolsa what?" Cat Noir said.

"It means fleabag. Will you stop confusing them with Spanish words?! Come down here or are you just scared I'll shove my spear right up your ass?! Why do you have trust issues and never like teaming up with villains? You're both supervillains yourselves too!" Panthera aims his hand behind her back to get ready to grab her spear.

"We are villains but we don't go by the rules of teaming with villains. Villains are always backstabbers, liars, cons, betrayers, even cowards. We are nothing like those kinds of villains who would use other villains as pawns to one day abandon them like they are nothing to them" Loxodon explained before tossing the leftover grapes aside.

"I suppose you don't know what that's like" Oscura sharpening her claws on the walls.

"We know as a team we're stronger!" Cat Noir said.

"Really? According to the paper, Ladybug and Cat Noir always save the day" Oscura held the old newspaper of last week, "Except Ladybug and other bunch of animal kids stopped a "Sentimonster" and one of them was not in the paper. Hmmm.....I wonder.....who abandoned the other? As far as I know....the term teamwork doesn't mean anything without someone in the picture" Oscura chuckled that only one black cat was not in the picture.

"We two talked it through and are back on terms!" Cat Noir defended Ladybug.

"Pathetic. Friends are nothing but backstabbers! One minute they think you're cool, the next they go for another one!" Oscura jumps down, hearing her high heels make an impact on the floor, "I suppose you're too young to know what that's like"

"Don't you dare tempt us!" Cat Noir snarled.

"Easy, kitty cat. If you get pissed off, your memories will get erased permanently. I suppose you'll forget to lick your fur then. Maybe your buggy girlfriend too" Loxodon taunted him.

"You wanna get nuts? Come on! Let's get nuts!" Cat Noir dared him.

"Don't! They are trying to provoke you, gatito" Panthera can tell what they are trying to do. Any enemy that tries to provoke a hero, something bad can happen and she sure doesn't want the feline's cataclysm to hurt anyone.

"What are you gonna do? Scratch us? A hero doesn't kill. You're just a young kitten with no experience like a grown savage panther" Oscura taunted him to get his anger the best of him.

"He's more than just a kitten!" Ladybug grabbed a rock and kicked it at the trigger floor for the mechanism to trigger death traps.

The floor beneath Loxodon and Oscura crumbled, "Mierda!" Oscura cursed.

"WHOOOOA!" They both fell into a pit.

"Go! Go!" Ladybug urged them all to move before the villains tried to get out of the pit.

"Oh, you're gonna get it!" Loxodon started to climb.

Oscura grunts in an effort to climb out before the snake almost bit her but she grabbed and squeezed the life out of it, "Cowards! Hijo de puta!"

Blu Tembo rushes up into a chamber, plotting out how to trick his counterpart.

"No escape from us you pendejos!" Oscura shouted from the distance, "FIND THEM!!!!"

"You go for the girls, I'll deal with the boys!" Loxodon drew his sword out.

"Don't make it a sexual thing, cabezón!" Oscura said before running off to find the girls.

"Hmph!" Loxodon searched for the guys.

Ladybug and Panthera were behind the statues, observing Oscura. This red-spotted Jaguar is beyond dangerous and violent to fight brutally. One wrong move, they'll be dead.

"She's nothing like Shadowmoth. She's not interested in world domination, power, not even the wish" Ladybug said.

"She has no motives on anyone," Panthera said.

"You think you are so clever, ugly bug?! I have nine lives like your pathetic pet! Unlike that madman you fought but never claimed victory, I'm not as dumb as he is to hide like a coward! I hunt wherever I go!" Oscura smashed all the jaguar statues one by one to find them, "From the paper I read, he was once Hawkmoth but now he changed his name! You're no hero! The more you fail, the more he gets strong! No peace for your city when he's still in control of everyone's fears! That's why I kill bad people because being a hero is pathetic when sparing a heartless person only brings more suffering!" She searched for the girls.

Ladybug started to think of a way to trap Oscura, "Hurting or killing lives doesn't prove you're the best!" She said.

"I don't need to prove I'm the best, Cucaracha! Unlike you, I don't show hesitation!" Oscura smashed another statue.

Ladybug then heard her getting closer. Panthera shook her head to not engage in a fight. She has fought Oscura before and failed. So Ladybug then threw a pebble to distract Oscura. Oscura heard it but she wasn't stupid to think it was a distraction. Cowards would always throw something to distract the killer from moving while the prey tries to escape.

"Very clever to try to outrun me. I'm not STUPID!!!" Oscura roared.

Ladybug then threw her yoyo around Oscura and wrapped her to throw her around, "HYAAAAAAAH!!!" She hurls her at a pillar.

Oscura groaned but not entirely injured since she's dealt with it a lot of times, "Is that the best you can do?!" She gets up and pops her dislocated shoulder with a loud crack.

"You're right about villains being backstabbers and I've seen what Shadowmoth has done. But unlike you, I'm not a killer" Panthera held her spear.

"Killing is like an addiction," Ladybug said.

"Hmph! And it doesn't bother you how much torture and suffering he's put on people?! I kill to prevent heartless men from ever succeeding!" Oscura jumps up from the ruins to escape.

But Panthera leaps and blocks her way, "If you're so ruthless, why leave?"

Instead of answering, Oscura did a roundhouse kick at her, "Because I know I can't kill either of you! You'll slow me down!" She makes her escape and kicks the statue hard with superhuman strength to block them.

"COWARD!!!" Ladybug shouted.
