"No.....help....mom.....Ahhhhhhh" Stahl woke up screaming from a old nightmare he has had for a while, as Stahl sat on his bed breathing heavily he remembered the nightmare or memory too well and knew that today was his birthday. Stahl gave a big sign before he fell back on his bed trying to go back to sleep since it was 3 a.m., but was scared to death about going through that nightmare again just like every time he went to sleep on July 23.

8 a.m.

Hera woke up from a wonderful dream she had, her dream was that the Empire was defeated and she and Kanan had a child. Ezra and Sabine got married and had a child of their own, Chopper didn't change, Zeb went to live with whatever people of his survived, but the one thing that confused her is that she didn't see Stahl happy, she saw him sad this time, in pain unlike the other times she had that dream. In the other one he lived with another mando who Sabine knew but she didn't know her name, *is today different* Hera wondered for a bit before she decided to worry about it later and go make breakfast.

Kitchen

When Hera got to the kitchen she began cooking breakfast, but as she was cooking she could hear faint crying and that made her wonder if it was Stahl, Ezra, or Sabine. Hera kept thinking more into it and pieced out that Sabine wouldn't cry since she has her new boyfriend in her room with her, Ezra might cry because of nightmares he would have of when he lived on the streets, but he would have Sabine to talk too if he did, that only left Stahl and since he was newest to the crew so she didn't want to push him into an uncomfortable state so she decided if he wanted to talk about what was going on he could talk to her.

When she was done cooking she called everyone to the kitchen for breakfast and they came, as they sat down Ezra asked "is Stahl joining" and got a worried face from Hera. "Hera what's wrong" Kanan asked his "girlfriend/wife" concerned "earlier when I was making breakfast I heard Stahl crying and I think he might be in pain" Hera answered. "Well I should go talk to him" Ezra said "no Ezra, Stahl doesn't need to be pressured, if he wants to talk he will talk" Hera said "but Hera I can help..." Ezra didn't get to finish because Hera gave him a mean face and said "Ezra you don't like it when we ask you about your past, so don't ask Stahl about his if he doesn't feel like talking about it.". Ezra obeyed his mother and sat down, as he did Stahl came in with his eyes blood red from crying and dry tear marks on his face. Heras mother mode kicked in and she went up to Stahl while asking "are you ok Stahl" "No I......I need to spend today alone" Stahl simply answered and walked past her without saying another word. After Stahl left the room everyone looked at each other confused at what had just happened. "Uhhh......should we do something" Zeb asked "yeah we should follow him or at least see where he is going" Hera said and then they all went to the cockpit to see Stahl just exiting the ship. As they watched him walk they saw him grab a rock and keep walking north-east. "What do you think he is going to do with that rock" Sabine asked "probably going to throw it at a bucket head, hehe we should go help him" Zeb said and was about to get up before Hera said "no Zeb he said he wanted to be left alone today" making the lasat sit back down. As Hera did the same she asked Kanan "what do you think he grabbed the rock for anyways Kanan" "I think that rock has a lot of meaning in Stahls life, like its a memorial for him" Kanan answered getting Hera too look out into the distant field and wonder what Stahl has gone through in his life.

Miles from the Ghost

As Stahl kept walking towards the place he was heading he started feeling a sharp pain in his chest, like someone was putting a knife through his heart as he got closer to his destination, Stahl just ignored it because he felt this pain every time he came here and he had gone through it so much you could practically say it's become a part of him.

When he got to his destination he could still hear the engines of a ship followed by a boy crying, as Stahl got into the plane he could see the 9 rock's in the pile he had placed them over the 9 years he has lived in pain on the streets. As he place the 10th rock in the pile he fell on his knees and began crying again at the constant pain he was feeling.

Stahl didn't know how long he was crying before he heard a voice say "impressive" and turned around to see the Grand Inquisitor standing just a few feet away from him. "I'm impressed that you have survived 10 years since being abandoned" the Inquisitor said, Stahl moved his hands to where his blasters would be, but when he didn't feel them and he mentally said *kriff* as he looked at the Inquisitor. "What do you want" Stahl said in a normal tone, the Inquisitor just smiled and said "to offer you a place in the Empire" catching Stahl by surprise. Stahl was about to say 'no' when the Inquisitor said "do you really think you can have a life like that" making Stahl narrow his eyes and say "I have a family now, so I think I'll decline your offer". The Inquisitor just smiled and said "you aren't meant for that life Stahl" "yes I am Inquisitor" Stahl said back and what the Inquisitor said scared him half to death "oh really, do they know about your past". Stahl nearly choked on the words, but said "n-no" making the Inquisitor smile and say "exactly, all you do is terrorize people" making Stahl get really scared and say "maybe if I..." but couldn't finish because the Inquisitor said "your a killer Stahl, you can never belong with a family". "I'm not a killer" Stahl said, the Inquisitor just looked at Stahls hidden blades and said "those weapons you have are meant for killing people" making Stahl look at his blades and get a little worried that the Inquisitor is right. The Inquisitor saw this and said "face it Stahl your meant to scare and kill people, it's who you are" "no it's not, my family weren't murderers" Stahl said "being a killer doesn't have to be blood related, it's all on the person and who they are" the Inquisitor said. "Y-your wrong" Stahl stuttered "oh am I, let me ask you why haven't you told them about your past" the Inquisitor said making Stahl realise why he didn't tell the crew his past. The Inquisitor decided to put his main plan into action, he then pulled out Stahls twin sabers and threw them next to him, when Stahl saw this he didn't waste a second and grabbed them and yelled while he activated them and held them up ready to kill the Inquisitor with one strike. When Stahl was above the Inquisitor he looked up (he is on his knees) and smiled while saying "see, you are a killer, you will be the one to kill that crew and so many more people, you just don't know it yet". Even though Stahl resisted the urge to kill him, everything in his body was yelling at him to kill the Inquisitor. Stahl deactivated his sabers because if he struck down the Inquisitor down he would be proving him right and Stahl would rather die than show that he is nothing but a murderer. Stahl then turned around and walked back towards the pile of rocks, "you won't be able to hide your secrets forever" the Inquisitor said, Stahl then decided he had heard enough of the Inquisitors voice and forced pushed him hundreds of yards away. When Stahl felt like he was no longer in danger he sat down and started to think for a while.

Stahl had been thinking for hours and all he could think of was what the Inquisitor told him, Stahl then looked at his sabers and realised that if he was going to prove the Inquisitor wrong he must learn to stop using the dark energy that had consumed him for most of his life and start using the lightside. Stahl knew that he had to become a Jedi, so he got up, grabbed his sabers and before he started walking back to the Ghost he gave one last look at the pile of stones and then started walking.

At the Ghost

As Stahl got on the Ghost he could hear distant talking and laughter from the crew and thought *what happens when they find out, I don't want to be alone again*. After Stahl was finished thinking he headed towards the Common Room

Common Room

As Stahl stood outside the door he was nervous about asking Kanan if he would teach him to become a Jedi because he yelled at him when he brought it up last time and Stahl was scared of what would happen this time. After a few minutes Stahl took a deep breath and opened the door revealing Zeb giving Ezra a nuggy, Sabine and Hera talking, and Kanan with Chopper playing dejark. When they saw Stahl they all froze waiting to see what was going to happen, Stahl grabbed a chair and slid it up to the table. As Stahl sat down he took out his lightsabers and put them on the table where Kanan could see them, when Kanan saw them he was surprised that Stahl had gotten them back and asked "how did you get these back". "From the Inquisitor" Stahl answered making everyone widen their eyes "you took them from him" Kanan asked and got a "no, he knew where I was going so he went there and handed them to me expecting me to strike him down like the killer he thinks I am" Stahl answered making all of them gasp at what the Inquisitor called him. Before anyone could speak Kanan asked "is there something wrong with them" concerned that the Inquisitor hid a tracker in them, "no I didn't sense any tracking devices or anything unusual on them" Stahl answered making all of them sign in relief. Stahl waited a little bit to see if anyone was going to ask a question and when they didn't he looked at Kanan and asked "can you train me to become a Jedi" making Kanan look at Stahl in surprise. "Y-yes but why do you want to become one now" Kanan asked, it's not that Kanan was scared to do it, he was actually excited to train another student, but he was wondering why Stahl chose now to ask to be trained in the ways of the force. "Because the Inquisitor said I was nothing but a killer, and I nearly proved him right, that's why" Stahl said making Hera put her hand on his shoulder and say "your not a killer Stahl, you don't need to become a Jedi to prove that" making Stahl smile. "Thanks Hera but I want to, I need too learn the ways of the force so I can protect myself and all of you" Stahl said "ok, we will start tomorrow" Kanan said and got a nod from Stahl as he got up and went to his room.

After Stahl left Ezra turned towards Kanan and asked "are you really sure you can train Stahl, you are somewhat struggling with me" getting a "I know, but I feel like Stahl isn't doing this for him, I feel like he is doing it to protect us and if I teach him it could help with the darkness he is hiding" making everyone look at each other from what they had just heard. "What do you mean Kanan" Hera asked making the Jedi sign and say "even though Stahl hides his emotions well I can still sense some inner conflict in him, and much darkness, this could help him with what he is fighting himself for". Hera then smiled and hugged Kanan saying "I'm finally glad your willing to help Stahl, love" making Kanan smile and getting Ezra worried that he was going to be replaced. Kanan sensed Ezra's thoughts and said "don't worry Ezra I'm not going to replace you" making Ezra smile and hug him, soon Hera hugged them both followed by Sabine who hugged Ezra, Chopper who hugged Hera's leg since he couldn't hug a full person, and Zeb who hugged everyone for what felt like hours.

Stahls room

When Stahl got to his room many old memories started coming back to him, lots of them were memories he had burried for a long time, but after what happened with the Inquisitor his memories came back to him. As Stahl sat on his bed he felt the pain of the memories he had, he soon sensed the crew hugging each other in the Common Room. As Stahl sensed this he remembered what he had lost so long ago and kept trying to get for so long, he wanted to go join them, but he thought he wasn't a part of their family yet and would never become a part of it because of his past. So Stahl decided to just go to sleep to try and drown out the pain and he soon fell asleep.
