Virat is confused seeing the happy faces of the three women and Sai yet again refusing to come back to Chavan Niwas. He gets more confused when Mansi bua explains her choice of shifting to Sai's home. Nevertheless he feels happy that now there would be someone to take care of Sai because although he wishes to stay back, Sai only occasionally allows him to… and that the physical distance between them is still unresolved.

In Chavan Niwas, Bhavani Kaku is as surprised as Pakhi. But while Bhavani is stunned to see Mansi supporting Sai, Pakhi couldn't care less. She doesn't even for once ask her to stay back or care to know when she will be back. She sits happily munching the quick bites her mother has sent for her. 

Mansi, regretting supporting her daughter in law and seeing her cold behaviour, asks Virat to drop her to Sai's home and Ashwini sends her usual tiffins full of eatables for expectant mothers, the contents of which are only known to Mansi and Ashwini. 

At Sai's home, Virat helps Mansi settle down and lingers on. Thankfully for him, Sai asks him to stay back for lunch and after many days in a long time, they spend some quality time together. Virat blesses his stars that for the sake of Mansi, he has got to spend the afternoon with Sai.

At home, Virat has been observing the blatant shameless behaviour from Pakhi and Bhavani Kaku. He is still unsure how to prove himself without getting into direct details of how and when it happened and having an interaction with Pakhi which he despises so much. 

One of the days he bumps into Sai at the gynaecology ward of the hospital when he has come related to a case. Happy to be seeing her, Virat doesn't think much when he sees Sai coming out of the ultrasound room. 
Sai is internally worried whether he would question her but extremely happy to meet her beyond their designated meetings, Virat happily chats with her. Sai relaxes and they discuss the situation at home. Sai asks about Pakhi's health and her regular checkups and whether Virat has participated in any of it. He strongly denies it and sees Sai's face laced with surprise. 

On the way back home, Virat contemplates on Sai's concern for Pakhi and realises how selfless she is. He repents not standing up by her when she needed him the most and allowing the vile woman like Pakhi to trample over their relationship everytime. 
Going back over Sai's words that she has been fighting with Pakhi for a right over him since the day she walked into the house, Virat thinks back remorsely if his silence concerning Pakhi was responsible for Sai's delayed acceptance of their feelings for each other. He now wonders if the confession and marital bliss could have come much sooner. 

Walking in the house, he sees Pakhi sitting like a Maharani engrossed in a happy conversation with Bhavani Kaku. Seemingly looking through her, he realises what a stupidity it was to think that he loved Pakhi and gave that godforsaken vaada. 

Virat is standing there mute, thinking about all this when Bhavani Kaku's voice brings him out of his reverie. Pakhi's face lights up when she sees him and hurriedly runs towards him when Bhavani asks her to slow down in her condition. Immediately halting, Pakhi now takes careful steps towards him. Virat stands rooted to his spot observing everything. Suddenly an idea strikes him and putting on a slight smile on his face, Virat asks Pakhi about her health.

Surprised at the sudden question, Pakhi stumbles for an appropriate answer. Virat notices her fluster with a smirk and wanting to fluster her more, he offers to accompany her to the next appointment. 
He sees the colour draining out from Pakhi's face and mentally fist pumps himself. 
On his repeated insistence and her denial, he shifts his attention to Bhavani Kaku and sees her too getting worried. Happy with the intended effect, he smiles a bit more when he sees Ashwini getting confused at the sudden change in his behaviour. He assures her with a look that only a mother can understand and she relaxes a bit. 

This continues for a few more days where Pakhi keeps on refusing to go for a checkup and Virat keeps on insisting her. 
Finally on one of the days, he calls her outside the house and Pakhi, excited to spend time with him, happily agrees. She takes extra efforts to get ready and reaches the location well in advance. Virat picks her up in his car and while she is too happy to get time with him, doesn't even ask him where he is taking her. 

Only when they stop at a maternity clinic does Pakhi lets out a gasp. Invoking all sorts of stupid reasons to not go in, Virat pulls her by her arms and they go for an appointment with the doctor. 

The doctor confirms what Virat knew in the bottom of his heart. Feeling relieved for himself but utterly disgusted with the woman next to him, Virat takes her home to finally address the issue head on.
