Chaptet Seventy Two-Troll Bridge
↬Chapter Seventy Two-Troll Bridge↬
↬↬↬
I only own Jade/Camilla and my ideas.
Come morning, Peter was surprised over the fact that Jade didn't kill him in his sleep. As much as he knew that there was a chance that she wouldn't, it was still rather painful to think about what he'd said in order to make her believe that he wasn't who she thought he was. He'd wanted to tell her that he lied and that he was Peter, but he couldn't cause her more pain when she leaves once more. He wanted to break the spell which was on him and show her who he was, but again it probably would cause her more pain than what she already has.
Neither Emma nor Hook said anything to him about it which he was thankful for, he wasn't sure if he could justify it. Baz seemed quiet though Peter knew that he was just processing what had happened. Baz knew that neither of them could tell Jade who they were and no matter how much the pair of them wanted to, it was best if they didn't. It was best if she believed that neither of them were here.
Snow hugged Red, Jade had disappeared once first light showed which wasn't surprising at all. There was a part of Peter which would have wanted to talk to her once more though he knew that there was nothing for him to say. He wouldn't know what to say to her, he supposed that anything that he would have wanted to say could be forgotten.
"I suppose I should thank you. You saved me." Snow said towards Charming after Red left.
"Well, it seemed like the honourable thing to do," Charming said.
Snow smiled at him. "I'm going to the stream to get some water. I can fill your canteen if you'd like."
Charming handed her his canteen. "Thanks."
Snow then left. Emma, Peter, Hook, and Baz watched from afar. Peter would have been interested in the conversation and what was going on but found that he really didn't have the energy to be in this timeline anymore. He wanted to go back home to Storybrooke, he wanted to see his fiancée, he wanted to see his two sons. He just wanted to be back with his family whole once more.
"They're warming up to each other. This is good. This'll work." Emma said.
"That may be, Swan. But we have another problem," Hook told, nodding towards Emma's former cellmate who was by herself.
"I had to save her," Emma tried to justify.
"Sure, you did the noble thing, but she's supposed to be dead." Hook warned. "Her presence in the Enchanted Forest could have unforeseen consequences."
"I could kill her." Peter suggested. "Wouldn't be the first person I killed." He knew that it was wrong, but what else could he suggest. Hook was right. Her being here is something that shouldn't exist, none of them could know as to what might happen if she stays here, and Peter didn't want to bring her back with them.
"Peter, no." Emma said. "She's just a sweet, innocent woman."
Peter held up his hands. "They all are at first."
Hook sighed at Peter. At least Peter thought that it was directed at him. "What if she had a child who grows into a mass murderer? Or she gets tipsy some night and rides her horse into one of the dwarves and there are only six of them? Who knows? We're best not finding out. She doesn't belong here."
"I know exactly what we can do." Emma said with a slight smile on her face. "Take her with us."
Before anyone—mainly Peter—could disagree with her, she went over towards the woman and began to explain what seemed like everything toward her. Peter knew that it was a bad idea and as much as he knew that he shouldn't, he prayed that Jade might appear and help in some way. He knew that he shouldn't want this woman dead, but she wasn't meant to exist, and he very much didn't want to bring this woman back with them.
"The future?" The woman asked.
"You can't stay here." Emma said. "You were supposed to die hours ago."
"I don't understand. I just wanna get back to my family." The woman argued. There was a part of Peter which understood but there was still something within him which was telling him that all of this was wrong and that he needed to do something to stop this from happening.
"They need to believe you're dead." Hook defended. "Because that's what they've always thought."
"Trust us."
"All due respect, I don't trust you." The woman said. "Or believe you. So, unless you're kidnapping me I'm going to go find my family."
Before Emma or anyone else could do anything Baz done something which none of them expected. Baz managed to get a dagger, Peter didn't know where from, but he stabbed her—he stabbed the woman. Emma, Hook, and Peter looked at him in horror, none of them knew what to do, what was they meant to do?
He'd stabbed her two more times before Peter felt something kick in and pulled him away. Baz thrashed against his hold, saying something which Peter couldn't quite get, the shock was still crashing into him like waves would a beach. He didn't know what to do.
"Baz, what the fuck?" Peter managed to get out.
"We were going to take her back," Emma mumbled, the surprise clear on her face. Though within a moment her face changed from shock to confusion to then some form of upset. "Baz, what did you do?"
Before Baz could talk or explain himself it was then that Charming decided to come over towards them. Peter didn't know what to do, he'd seen the Lost Boys kill but he didn't expect that. Charming seemed to take notice of the woman on the floor and the blood around her stomach. There was something about the way that he looked at the mess and back up again that made Peter unsettled in a way.
"What happened to her?" Charming asked slowly.
"I stabbed her." Baz said when no one else could think of anything else to say.
Charming gave Baz a look, his hand on his sword. Peter found himself pushing Baz behind him with an arm out. He didn't want there to be a fight, and no matter how shocked he was about what Baz done, he would still protect Baz no matter what.
"He killed her." Charming slowly said. "I'm going to have to take him."
Peter shook his head. "He's coming back with me. He'll serve justice where we come from. Our laws are different."
Charming looked like he was torn between his duty and something else. "He killed her. He has to answer for what he did."
"He's a child!" Peter argued.
Emma stepped between both Pan and Charming as a way to deescalate anything before it got worse. "We promise that once we get home, he'll deal with his crimes. What's up?"
Charming looked as if he didn't want to drop the conversation as a whole though Peter found himself glaring at Charming. The prince decided to release the hilt of his sword as if to say that he was going to drop the subject for now. "Has either one of you seen Snow? She went to the stream, but she hasn't—" He paused for a moment and then started to search his pockets. "The ring. She took it."
"Really?" Emma asked. "Do you know where she might be headed?"
"She was seeking passage on a pirate ship." Charming explained. "There's only one way to get to the harbour from here." He slung a bag over his shoulder. "The Troll Bridge."
Charming headed into the direction where the Troll Bridge might be, as if he forgot about the body which laid dead—or dying—as if it were nothing.
Peter found himself kneeling down beside the body, he wondered if there was any way which he could prevent the bleeding which might help her in some way. He didn't know what to do, though there was something inside of him which told him that he needed to help her, that he shouldn't just leave her here to die.
He could hear the way that Hook and Emma were talking about something, but Peter found that he couldn't stay focused. Baz was shaking and there was a part of him which wanted to comfort Baz—which he would do once he got this sorted he just needed to help her if he could.
"I'm sorry," Baz shakily muttered. "I thought that it would ruin what we've done if we allowed her to live."
Peter sighed. He really didn't know what to do. Under other circumstances he would be proud, but this was different, they were no longer on Neverland where there were no rules, they were in a place where they needed to be more accountable for their actions as a whole. He knew that it was difficult, that it was going to be hard to remove the mindset that they had for so long, but it needed to be done.
"It's okay, Baz," Peter assured. "It's going to take time, but we need to learn to realise that the way that we are used to is something that we can't do anymore, Baz."
"Peter, Baz," Emma called making the pair look up. "You coming?"
Peter shook his head. "We'll stay here. I need to sort her out, see if there's anything that I can do to stop the bleeding until we get back to Storybrooke."
Emma nodded and it was then that both herself and Hook left. Both Peter and Baz stayed with the woman, Peter really didn't know what to do, he knew that he could save her, but he felt like that there was something stopping him. He tried to push his thoughts aside, he needed to save her, he needed to fix the mistake Baz made.
"Can you do it?" Baz weakly asked.
Peter clenched his jaw slightly. "Yeah, I think that I can."
He waited for Baz to say something else but when he didn't, Peter decided that it was best to continue to work on the woman. He closed his eyes and held his hand over the stab wounds on her stomach, he tried his best to concentrate on the wounds and the need to fix them. He knew that he'd done spells similar on Jade, he knew that he was able to do it but there was still a part of him which didn't if he could.
"I believe in you." Baz muttered.
Peter shook his head knowing the sudden pulse that went through him any time that someone said that they believed in him. He knew that it was only part of his magic but knowing that Baz believed in him even when Peter didn't believe in himself was something that brought him an ache in his heart knowing that even while Baz believed, he couldn't take them home.
He needed to get Baz back home, to Storybrooke, more than anything. He needed to heal this woman, knowing the fact that if Peter didn't do anything to stop this, then there was a chance that Emma or Hook might have something to say when they get back.
He shut his eyes, knowing that he wasn't going to get much done if he was finding ways to distract himself. He tried to think of healing this woman, he needed to, or at least well enough that when they get back to Storybrooke, they could take her to Dr Whale or something.
He wasn't sure how long he'd been sat there trying to heal the woman, he could see that the bleeding stopped which assured Peter enough that there was a chance that the wounds were healed. He didn't want to jinx himself, so he stayed doing it a little longer just in case.
A while passed and neither Baz or Peter spoke a word, even when Emma and Hook came back with a smile on their face. They'd asked Peter if the wounds were healed and Peter was honest, saying that there was a chance that the woman would need to go to the hospital once they got back—if they got back.
That was all that was mentioned when it came to what happened. They'd spoken about how the fact that they'd managed to get both Snow and Charming's story back on track and the fact that the stories in the book slipped back into place. At least that was something that Peter could find comforting in some way, to know that their stories were all lined up and were planned to stay the same.
Though even still, there was a part of Peter that wanted to talk to Jade once more, to tell her more about her going back to Neverland, but he knew that he couldn't. He knew that it could ruin what they've fixed which was something that he knew they wouldn't be able to fix once more.
"Will she be fine for transport?" Hook asked after a moment.
Peter nodded. "Yeah. I imagine so, though we'll have to keep watch for now just in case."
That was that, and they ended up making their way to Rumplestiltskin's castle. They took the horse and cart as far as they could and for a while Peter wished that he could have just teleported the group to his castle.
However, Peter really didn't want to see his father-in-law once more, as much as he knew that Rumple was helping them, there was just a small voice inside Peter's mind which told him that he couldn't trust him. He knew that they shouldn't have gone to him, knew that they shouldn't have told Rumplestiltskin about their issue, but at the same time Peter didn't know how to get back.
They'd arrived at the castle, where they left the horse and cart. Hook carried the woman over his shoulder as they made their way inside. The closer that they got towards the castle the more that he realised that he should have let this woman go—meaning that he should have let her die of her wounds. A part of him didn't care much on how much would change if she did stay here but he also knew that if she did die from Baz's stab wounds then David or someone would say something.
He shook his head knowing that the over thinking wasn't going to get him anywhere, all that he wanted was his fiancé and his children, he wanted his family whole like it was always meant to.
Emma opened the doors to Rumpelstiltskin's castle and then the doors of the main quarters where Rumpelstiltskin was making a potion on the table. "We did it."
Rumplestiltskin didn't look up as they entered and continued with his potion. "You're parents are together?"
"They're right back on track." Emma said a little excited. "We're ready to go."
"I see." Rumpelstiltskin said. It was then that he noticed Emma's cellmate. "And you brought some luggage."
Emma looked at Baz then before turning back to Rumpelstiltskin "Long story." She joined our hands in front of her. "So, how's the portal coming? Can you open it?"
Rumplestiltskin picked up a bottle and looked at the group. "I cannot."
Peter wanted to make a comment at that but bit his tongue knowing that with whatever comes out of his mouth wouldn't be much helpful as a whole and he knew that they were just using Rumpelstiltskin as a way to get back home. And that was seemingly alright and somewhat comforting for Peter enough to know that they were just using the man that he wanted to kill.
Though, Peter would admit that hearing that Rumplestiltskin couldn't get them home was something that made him want to scream. He knew that there was a chance that they shouldn't have trusted him—that they shouldn't have trusted Rumpelstiltskin—but he knew that the only way that they could get back home or have an idea of getting back home was via him. There was so much that Peter wanted to say towards Rumpelstiltskin, but he knew that he had told himself back knowing that whatever he said could make things worse than what Rumpelstiltskin was probably already planning.
Emma looked at Rumplestiltskin somewhat confused then. "Then what are you working on?"
Rumplestiltskin resumed his work on the potion that he was working on when they came in. "Oh, this is for me. A forgetting potion. I know too much about my future. The only way to protect it, is to forget it."
There was a part of Peter that just wanted to tell Rumpelstiltskin about the fate of his son but he knew that the pain will be too much, and not only that but he didn't know how Rumpelstiltskin would react. with Baz here he didn't want to risk it, he knew that if he went back to Storybrooke and told Camilla about what happened she would burn the place to the ground in hopes to get her revenge.
"Well, what about this wand?" Emma asked. "You said that could help us."
"Oh, that." Rumpelstiltskin said. "Well, apparently, only those who used the portal can reopen it. So, unless you can wield magic, I'm afraid, you're going nowhere." He threw the wand towards Emma not once did he look at Peter, which made him wonder whether or not he could actually open the portal though he knew that it was something that he didn't want to try out. "Can you?" Emma stayed silent as she looked down at the wand in her hand "Thought not."
"So, you just expect us to stay here?" Hook asked, speaking up for them. "What about protecting your precious future?"
"That's exactly what I'm going to do." Rumplestiltskin said. Peter instinctively put his arm in front of Baz and pulled the small boy behind him. He wasn't going to allow Baz to die by anyone else hands.
Hook drew his blade. "He means to kill us, Swan."
Rumplestiltskin done his annoying giggle which made Peter want to punch him. "No. I mean to put you someplace safe. Someplace even I dare not go. Where I store the magic that is too dark or unpredictable even for me."
Emma began to say his name, but it was then that a purple cloud covered them. The smoke cleared and they were in a room where Peter could basically feel the dark and unpredict magic which filled the room. When Peter looked round, he took one look of the metal statue of some kind of creature with wings and a helmet and wondered how this was something that scared Rumplestiltskin.
The room that Rumplestiltskin placed them him was tall and looked as if there were many objects which the Dark One placed in here. There was a part of Peter which wanted to open everything up and see what made Rumple so afraid of them. Though, there was a part of him which was a little disappointed considering that he wondered whether or not Rumplestiltskin had stone statues of his enemies—though at the same time, there was a part of him which didn't want to know.
"No." Emma sighed.
Hook placed the woman on the table, knowing that there was a possibility that they were going to be here a while which was something that Peter would hate. Hook managed to find a mirror in the room and took a look. "At least he did us one favour. I'm devilishly handsome again." Like always, being pleased with himself he smiled.
Peter looked towards Baz and noticed that what Hook mentioned about being back to their normal selves made him realise that that they were back in their Storybrooke attire as well as Emma—with her red leather jacket. The one thing which made Peter somewhat concerned was the fact that Baz looked miserable, he knew that it was something to do with the woman and he knew that he needed to talk to Baz about it, though Peter really didn't know what to say—which wasn't helping the situation as a whole.
"Wait!" Emma called out. Peter turned to see that Hook held an urn in his hand. "Don't touch anything! If Rumple is afraid of this stuff, there's gotta be a reason."
Hook placed the urn on a small table which looked as if it had some things etched into the top. "I'm just trying to figure a way out."
"Not sure if an urn is going to help, Killian," Peter said.
"I don't think there is one." Emma desperately told. "And, what's the point. You heard what he said."
"But you can." Hook said, a little hopeful. "All he said we need is magic. You're the saviour, Swan. You can do it."
"Not anymore. I lost it." Emma spoke, looking down.
"When Zelena died, all of her spells were undone." Hook pointed out. "Your powers should have been restored."
"Believe me, if I could make it work, I would. You think I'm faking it?" Emma argued.
"I think not having magic makes it a lot of easier for you to run back to New York and pretend to be somebody else." Hook told. Peter looked between the two, not wanting to get involved. "But listen to me, Swan. You're not. It's time to stop running."
"You think, I don't know that?" Emma snapped. "Yes, I run away. That's how I always survived. But, believe me, I want this to work. I wanna go back. I wanna stop running."
"What's changed your mind?"
Emma took in a deep breath. "Watching my mother die. Thinking she was dead. You saw what happened. I was so relieved when she was okay. And I hugged her. And you know what I saw in her eyes? Nothing. She didn't know who I was." Her voice broke as she spoke. "I had saved her and lost her, too. And that's what I've been doing to her since I met her. It's got to stop. When Henry brought me to Storybrooke he told me I was the saviour. I didn't see what he was really doing: He was not bringing me back to break a curse. He was bringing me home. Neal was right."
"About what?" Hook asked.
"You don't have a home until you just miss it." Emma responded. Peter wondered what Camilla would think if Emma told her that. "Being with my parents the last few days, but not really being with them? I've never missed them more. Storybrooke. That's my home."
There was something on Hook's face which Emma a somewhat confused look towards which was enough for Peter to know that it was a smile. "What?"
"Look down." Hook told. Peter hadn't noticed it before, but in her hand, the wand glowed brightly and there was something within Peter which was somewhat excited like his wishes were finally answered. "I'd say you've got your magic back. Now, shall we go?"
Emma moved slightly and both Peter and Baz joined her side—mainly because there was a chance that the portal could open on them with the way that they were. Emma closed her eyes in means to concentrate in opening the portal. There were a few moments of nothing which made the feeling of dread come over Peter in a way. He knew that he should be hopeful towards Emma and her magic but considering that she didn't understand them fully quite yet was something that worried Peter.
However, after a few moments of nothing, the portal opened and Peter found himself wanting to hug Emma. Almost. Hook picked up the woman which Baz stabbed. "Yup. Well done, Swan." Hook nodded towards Peter then. "Come on, lads."
Peter didn't wait for anything else to be said, he made sure that Baz was in front of him as the pair of them followed Hook into the portal. Home was something that he wanted the most and Camilla was the one person that he wanted to talk to the most. He wasn't sure what he was going to say to her but all that he wanted was to hear her voice the most.
God, he knew that there was a chance that she was going to be mad at him for about everything that he done while in the Enchanted Forest, but at this point he didn't care much. He needed her, and he knew that Baz needed her as well.
The portal spat them back out in the warehouse that they were in before they left, Hook and the woman were spat out first followed by Peter and Baz who fell side by side with one another. Shortly after, Emma came popping out. It took Peter a moment to get his bearings of where he was—as much as he knew where he was there was still a part of him which was afraid that they hasn't made it home.
The portal closed after Emma, and Peter was happy when he realised that they were in Storybrooke. He and Baz needed to see Camilla. He just wanted to hold her, tell her that he loved her and tell her that she means the world to him—even if it was something that she already knew, he didn't really care much, she needed to hear it once more.
Peter got to his feet and pulled Baz up. Hook done the same for Emma. "Oh, God." Emma groaned. She then looked towards her former cellmate. "Hey, do me a favour. Take her to the hospital for her wounds." She looked at the three boys with her. As much as Peter didn't want to do that, he knew that it was something that needed to be done.
"Where are you going?" Peter asked her.
"I have some people I need to see." Emma told with a smile. She turned on her heels and sprinted out of the warehouse.
Hook and Peter shared a look with one another and then towards the woman. Peter closed his eyes for a moment, there was a part of Peter which forgot that he mentioned something about getting the woman to Dr Whale to get sorted and he'd hoped that she would have died between him healing her as much as he could (which meant very little) and actually coming to Storybrooke.
"Come on then, mate," Hook said. "Might as well, got a long travel ahead of us."
Peter scoffed. "If you think I'm walking when I have someone to talk to then I might as well have your shadow ripped from you."
Hook rose his hands in defence, though there was a smile on his face. Peter helped Hook with getting the woman in his arms before then teleporting them to the hospital. He knew that there was a chance that it was getting concerning for everyone around him in the hospital to just arrive with an unconscious woman, but at this point there was a part of him which didn't care all too much.
Whale came over towards the three of them and sighed when he noticed the body. "What is it this time, Pan?"
"Long story about the woman," Peter told, trying to be as innocent as he could, "but Baz stabbed her a few times. I tried my best with healing them, but she needs more medical attention. I've never been good with medical stuff."
Whale's face changed drastically at that though he didn't comment as a whole which was something that Peter was somewhat grateful for as a whole. He knew that there was a chance that word might get around about something like this but at the same time Peter knew that it was just worry for Baz as a whole.
Whale gestured for the three to follow which they did. Baz held onto his hand as they did which was something that made Peter smile in some way. Hook placed her onto a bed as they came into an empty room.
"Is it fine to leave her here?" Peter asked. He knew that he shouldn't be agitated about everything, but he needed to find Camilla, he needed to find Devin, and he needed to find Finn. He wanted his family to be together once more.
He knew what it was like to miss Camilla but this was different—throughout the time that she was away he never actually saw her. But being in the Enchanted Forest and not being able to tell her who he was, was something that was beyond painful. And it made him realise just how madly he missed her. He wanted to be by her side once more and that was a place that he never wanted to leave anymore.
"In a moment." Whale said. "Where was she stabbed?"
"Stomach." Peter told, trying his best to not be annoyed. He bounced on the balls of his feet. "Like five times."
Whale waved his hand. "Go."
Peter nodded. Both him and Baz shared a look and it was as if they were on the same wavelength, the pair of them turned and sprinted out of the hospital as if there was something for them. He knew what it looked like for them to run out but at this point it was something that he really didn't care about given the fact that they both wanted to see the same people.
He knew that he should have waited for Hook, but he really didn't care all that much. His family was something that was on his mind and his family was something that meant so much to him.
Peter wasn't sure how long the pair of them had been running for, though at one point, Baz managed to get quite away ahead of him which was something that made Peter smile in some way. He'd followed Baz as he ran them to Granny's, and it was there that Baz waited for Peter as if he was nervous to go in.
"Come on," Peter said.
Baz nodded and sprinted up the stairs and almost ripped the door from its hinges. He heard the way that Camilla and Devin called Baz's name and the amount of panic that was in their voice, it was something that made Peter almost sprint into the building.
"Jade!" Peter called.
He took notice of the tears building in her eyes and the surprised look in her face at just about everything. She turned when he called her, and it was then that she basically threw herself at him. She was crushing him, and he didn't care, this was something that he missed and something that he wanted for so long, he was glad that he finally got it.
He ran his hand through her hair. "I love you, I missed you." His voice cracked and he knew that there was a chance that Camilla might have noticed it but it was something that he didn't care. He missed her so much. He was home. He was with the woman that meant the world to him and that was all that he ever wanted.
"You had me so worried," Camilla muttered. "You weren't answering. And Regina couldn't find you. I thought you died."
"You're not getting rid of me that easily." Peter muttered.
"Where were you?" Camilla asked when she pulled away.
Peter opened his mouth to respond though he found himself looking towards Emma who just so happened to save Peter fully by coming over. "We'll explain everything."
Camilla looked between both Peter and Emma a little suspicious as if this was something that she didn't expect which was something that Peter didn't blame as a whole. He took her hands and gave her a small smile, he brought the backs of her hand to his lips and kissed her knuckles.
"Trust me." Peter muttered. "And promise that when we explain, you won't get too mad."
Camilla gave him an even more confused look if that was possible. "Okay, now I'm concerned." Though it was then that she looked more concerned than anything else when she noticed the bandage around his hand. "What happened?"
Peter pulled his hands away which was something that he didn't mean to do. "Emma, Baz, and I will explain, trust me."
Camilla reluctantly gave in, though he could tell that she was somewhat unhappy about it. Though, before anything else could be said, Devin basically decided to suffocate him in a hug and Peter loved it. There were no words exchanged between the two though that was something that Peter didn't mind as a whole. He knew that there was nothing to be said.
Devin pulled away and there was a smile on his face which was comforting enough. Camilla was sat in the booth and was beside Snow as she held her own baby. On the table—aside from Henry's story book was Finn who was laughing at something that Camilla was doing to him, the sight of it made Peter feel all warm and happy inside.
Emma let Peter slide in first to be near his son and Camilla. Peter turned Finn towards him and picked him up. There was something within him which wanted to cry at the thought of finally being back and knowing that he was with his son. He knew that he missed Finn, but he never realised just how much he missed him.
Peter and Emma shared a look with one another before Peter then gave him a small nod. The pair of them—plus some help via Baz—gave an explanation as to where they were, and they used the story book to further help them as a whole. They'd explained how they interrupted the original meeting of Emma's parents, how they tried to put in back on track via pushing Snow to steal from the castle, and such.
Peter added in the explanation of the fact that Jade knew that Peter was following after them—though he really wasn't—and attacked him. That was something which made Camilla give him a sort of odd look as if that was something that she didn't believe.
Though, the more that they explained and the more evidence that was in the book, the more that all of it made sense. Though, the closer that they got to when they thought that Snow died, the more that he realised that the telling of Jade realising that Prince Saffron was actually him and that he'd lied to her in some way in what Peter knew was painful enough.
"Wait," Camilla muttered after a while. She looked at Peter with a somewhat painful look which made Peter wish that he could stab himself knowing that it would be less painful. "You were the one to tell me all of that?"
Peter knew what she meant, though it was clear on what she meant. "Yes. I didn't want you to go through the pain of loosing me for the second time when I had to come back here."
Camilla bit her lip. "But you lied to me. About who you were."
Finn was asleep with his head on Peter's shoulder which was enough for Peter to be able to reach over with one hand and place it over Camilla's. "I hated that I had to, and I'm sorry."
"We wanted to tell you, mom," Baz told, "though we knew how much pain you were already in and didn't want to add to it."
Camilla looked down and there was a part of Peter which felt bad for everything. He knew that it was painful enough, and as much as he tried to justify what he done, he knew that the thought of knowing that they lied to her was tough.
"You know, what you said to me helped," Camilla said after a moment. "About how you'll get me back."
Peter didn't know what to say as a whole, though there was a part of him which was glad that it did help.
"Wait. You're Princess Leia?" Snow asked. She looked towards Peter. "And you're Prince Saffron, and Prince Sebastian?"
"Nice alias." Henry said from the chair beside Emma.
Camilla snorted a laugh at the name that Peter choose for himself and Peter knew tha there was a chance that she was going to annoy him about it as a whole.
Emma chuckled slightly. "I was in a pinch."
"Well, there you go. You're officially one of us." David said with a smile.
"A fairytale princess at last," Snow added.
"And as my first princess-ly request I would like to know the name of the baby." Emma suggested.
"Right, that." David said with his arms crossed. "Ready?" Snow nodded. "Excuse me. If I could have everyone's attention just for a moment," David said loudly enough to grab everyone's attention. "This coronation ceremony is something we looked forward to for a very long time. The arrival of our new son has been a cause of great joy for our family. And we hope you can share in it as we name him for a hero. Someone who saved every one of us. We loved him and he loved back."
"People of Storybrooke, it's our great joy to introduce you to our son, Prince Neal." Snow introduced their baby. There were cheers and applauds for it, Peter and Camilla shared a look though it was clear that Camilla was looking just a bit behind him to look towards her father.
Emma reached across to touch her baby brother. "It's nice to meet you, Neal."
For a moment where there was peace and that nothing was wrong because there was nothing wrong. Though, a moment after Emma walked out of Granny's where Camilla managed to sit beside Peter and lean against him. He wrapped his arm around her and for a moment Peter knew that this was everything that he ever wanted, to watch as his children play and to have his beautiful fiancé right next to him.
Peter leaned down and lowered his voice. "How willing are you if we start planning our wedding?"
He could tell that she was grinning by the way that Snow caught it and softened her gaze. "One second," she muttered. She then leaned forward. "Snow," the woman turned to face Camilla, "wanna help me plan my wedding?"
Snow's mouth hung open at that. "YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED?"
That was enough for everyone to pause for a second and watch which was something that made Peter grin slightly. He was glad that Camilla was the person that he was marrying, he couldn't bare this world without her at all. His Jade, his light, and his everything. His Jade Jessie Stiltskin.
