Chapter One-Pilot

↬↬↬

I only own Jade/Camilla and my ideas.

"Come on Jade, we have work to do!" The Evil Queen yelled as she entered the room of which a female stayed, a female of which is young in the face but old at the soul.

"Where are we going this time, Regina?" The brown-haired female asked as she got up from the floor of which she slept on.

"We've got a wedding to crash," The Queen spoke with a smirked. She had then turned around and went back towards the main quarters of the castle.

Jade got up from laying on the floor as she had then picked up her cape which she normally used as a blanket. Her clothes which she was continually wearing were always similar to Regina's pantsuits but with less 'royalty' - as Regina puts it.

There was just that small part of Jade which hated the fact that she was working for the Queen, yet because of this alliance - Jade was more feared than what she was before.

Jade had made her way the main quarters of the castle where the Queen was waiting. Jade had cleared her throat to make her appearance more known to Regina."When are we leaving?"

"Actually, we'll be leaving right now, my faithful companion," the Queen spoke as her lips quivered into a smirk.

It was then that purple smoke had wrapped its way around Jade and Regina, relocating them to a somewhat familiar castle.

"I do," a familiar voice had said, one of which Jade was all to familiar with, for the voice belonged to Snow White.

The Queen had smirked slightly as Jade's face was hidden underneath her hood of her cape. Though her expressions were hidden a small frown was all of which she could muster, no signature smirk on her lips like normal, just a frown as the pair made their way towards where the voices were coming from.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife." The Priest said from the room of which the Evil Queen and the eldest Stiltskin was coming towards.

There was a round of applause which echoed throughout the inside of the room, and it was then that it was time to ruin the wedding of Snow White and Prince Charming. With a simple flick of The Evil Queen's wrist, the doors are swung straight open, and both stood there for a brief moment. Jade had kept her hand wrapped around the handle of her sword, which was around her waist; her hood covered her expressions and face as she kept her focus on the floor below.

"Sorry, we're late," the Evil Queen spoke. It was clear that a smirk was all of which was written on her face.

Jade and Regina had then approached the couple, Regina was a few strides in front of her which hadn't helped the glares which she had gotten. As they pair grew closer to the couple, two guards had ran towards the duo to at least attempt to stop them, but the Queen simply rose her hand which had caused the guards to fly out of their path.

"It's the Queen and her companion. Run!" Doc yelled as he went towards Snow and Charming.

The civilians around them had backed away, creating more of a pathway for the pair. It was then that Snow White had drawn Charming's sword from his waist and had proceeded to point it in the direction of the Evil Queen and Jade.

"She's not the Queen anymore. She's nothing more than an evil witch. And as for her companion, she's nothing more than a coward!" Snow White stated as she jabbed the air with the sword.

As Snow spoke the last part, Jade practically growled, causing to get a good couple of glares from a few civilians. There was always one thing of which Jade hated which was being compared to what her father was - and still is.

"No, no, no. Don't stoop to their level. There's no need," Charming said to his new wife as he then took the sword from Snow.

"And there's no need for insults, Snow." Jade snarled towards the former princess.

The former princess seemed to narrow her eyes towards Jade, feeling as if she recognised the voice all too well, yet couldn't place her finger on it.

"You're wasting your time. You've already lost. And I will not let you ruin this wedding," Charming said as he stood slightly in front of his wife, to protect her.

"Oh, I haven't come here to ruin anything. On the contrary, dear, I've come to give you a gift," Regina spoke, her eyes mainly focused on the two newly weds.

"We want nothing from you." Snow responded as she held onto the Prince's arm.

"But you shall have it!" Regina snapped. "My gift to you is this happy, happy day," the Queen had then began to pace around the room, "but tomorrow, my real work begins. You've made your vows, now I make mine. Soon, everything you love, everything all of you love, will be taken from you. Forever. And out of your suffering, will rise my victory. I shall destroy your happiness if it is the last thing I do." Her voice was stern as she spoke as she never once broke contact from the two.

Once her message was clear and told, both the Evil Queen and Jade turned on the spot and headed towards the door they came from.

It was then that Prince Charming's boomed out, earning their attention. "Hey!"

They both proceeded to turn their attention back towards the Prince - who had threw his sword at them, but both of the sword reached them, they had vanished in a cloud of purple smoke. The remaining people at the wedding nervously chattered among themselves, and Prince Charming and Snow White hug for a brief moment, worry filled everyone in the room.

Camilla walked out of the store with a few bags hanging from her arms, plus the bag-pack on her back. They were all filled with food and essentials of which both, her and her father would need to survive the oncoming week.

Their promise was simple, if Camilla does the shopping and helps around the house a bit, while her dad does his job as a therapist. Her end was that she had to make sure that she stayed out of trouble with the police and just anyone in general.

As the brown-eyes female walked out of the shop, she realised how dark it was, it was at least nine O'clock or around that time, though either way darkness filled the sky. She didn't know, all that she knew was that she was tired and wanted her bed.

"Then why doesn't everybody just leave?" A blonde woman asked as she looked down the ten-year-old boy in front of her as they stood next to the yellow bug.

"They can't. If they try, bad things happen," The Mayors son stated.

Camilla Hopper had noticed the boy of which she regularly babysit on various occasions along with a blond-haired woman of which she's never seen before around the town. It somewhat worried Camilla with the idea of Henry Mill's talking to someone he doesn't know. She ended up approaching the duo and called out Henry's name.

"Henry!" Two voices called out. To hear another voice call for the small boy, it confused her slightly, though it wasn't until she looked around to see that the other voice belonged to her father, Archie. Archie gave her a look as he looked at the bags in her arms and nodded slightly.

"What are you doing here? Is everything alright?" Archie questioned.

"Where were you?" Camilla asked, wondering as to where the boy was all day.

"I'm fine, Archie. Never mind." Henry responded.

All Camilla done was stare at the small boy who she knew was somewhat lying as to where he was.

"Who's this?" Archie asked as he looked in the direction of the blonde-haired woman.

"Just someone trying to give him a ride home," the blonde responded, shooting the pair a small smile.

"She's my mom, Archie. This is Emma." Henry responded to the question Archie had asked him.

"Oh. I see," Archie nodded.

Camilla had pulled a face slightly, this was meat to be Henry's biological mother? Camilla rose her eyebrows slightly as she looked away.

"You know where he lives?" The blonde woman - Emma - asked.

"Yeah, sure," Camilla began. "Just, right up on Mifflin street. The Mayor's house is the biggest one on the block."

"You're the Mayor's kid?" Emma asked, her facial expression seemed a little pissed.

"Uh, maybe." Henry muttered as he looked down slightly.

"Hey, where were you today, Henry? Because you missed your session." Archie questioned as he held onto Pongo and looked at the ten-year-old in front of him.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you. I went on a field trip." Henry responded, Camilla could tell that the young boy was lying, she didn't know how, but she knew.

"Henry. What did I tell you about lying? Giving into one's dark side never accomplishes anything." Archie gave him a small look.

"Gotta agree with that." Camilla agreed with his father.

"Okay. Well, I really should be getting him home." Emma said as she put her hand on Henry's shoulder.

"Yeah, sure. Well, listen. Um. Have a good night and, uh, you be good, Henry." Archie shot both of them a small smile.

"Night Henry, see you in school tomorrow." Camilla said as her Archie and Pongo walked off together, to their home.

"So that's your shrink." Emma said as both of them went to get into the yellow bug.

"I'm not crazy." Henry responded.

****

Both Archie and Camilla strolled into their home. Camilla couldn't afford her own house at the moment though she was working for it by working beside Mary Margaret in her classes. Mary Margaret was her friend who had helped her get the job and insisted that Camilla worked with her and help her in all of her classes that she had. Of course Camilla agreed, because she wanted to afford her own things.

"I'll put these away, Dad. You can go rest." Camilla said to her father as she walked into the kitchen of the house and placed them onto the floor.

"Cam, you're a sweet girl, don't worry. I'll help." Archie gave his daughter a small smile as they both started to unpack the shopping bags.

It hadn't taken them long for the two to clear everything away, and by the end of it, Camilla grew tired which lead to the female going to bed.

Morning had came and Camilla was found in a classroom where she assisted Mary Margaret as se taught. She had either help grade papers, or just collect worksheets that Mary Margaret had handed out. However, this was neither of those occasions, so Camilla was made to sit there as she watched as Mary Margaret taught the young art class students.

"As we build our bird houses, remember - what you're making is a home, not a cage. The bird is free and will do what it will. This is for them, not us. They're loyal creatures. If you love them and they love you, they will always find you." Mary Margaret explained as she walked over to the window with a blue bird on her finger and released the bird and let it fly to the blue bird house out side the window. After Mary Margaret said this the bell rang implying that it was recess.

"We'll pick this up after recess. No running!" Mary Margaret called out as the kids got up out of their seats. As the kids file out of the classroom, Regina shoves through them as Emma trails behind her. Camilla noticed the duo walking-Well shoving-through the kids just to get to Mary Margaret.

"Miss Mills. What are you doing here?" Blanchard asked as she noticed the mayor walking up to her as Emma stayed behind.

"Where's my son?" Miss. Mills asked the teacher.

"Wait, Henry's missing?" Camilla questioned as she didn't expect Henry to do this.

"Henry, I assumed he was home sick with you." Mary Margaret responded to the original question.

"You think I'd be here if he was? Did you give him your credit card so he can find her?" Madam mayor questioned the black-haired woman.

"I'm sorry, who are you?" Mary Margaret asked the blonde woman who stood by the door.

"I'm his... I'm his..." Emma stuttered slightly.

"The woman who gave him up for adoption." Regina bluntly said.

"You don't know anything about this do you?" Emma asked the poor woman who seemed to get bombarded with questioned. Camilla stood there confused to why Henry would do this.

"No, unfortunately not." Blanchard responded as she looked through her wallet. She noticed that her credit card was missing, "Clever boy... I should never have given him that book." The woman sighed.

"What in the hell is this book I keep hearing about?" Regina yelled. You could tell that she was getting annoyed by this whole conversation, she just wanted to find her son. To be honest, the situation reminded her of Finding Nemo.

"Just some old stories I gave him. As you well know, Henry is a special boy. So smart, so creative, and as you might be aware, lonely. He needed it." Mary Margaret explained.

"What he needs is a dose of reality. This is a waste of time." Regina said in a huff as she left the room but on her way out she knocked over the books that were on the table.

"Have a nice trip back to Boston." Regina said to Emma before she walked out of the classroom.

"Sorry to bother you." Emma apologised as Camilla, Mary Margaret and Emma knelt down to pick up the fallen books.

"No it's... It's okay. I hear this is partially my fault." The black-haired woman said with a slight sigh.

"Hey, nothing is your fault, you done what you thought would help him." Camilla said as she placed one hand on the woman's back and shit her a small smile.

⥐ ⥐ ⥐

"How's the book supposed to help?" Emma asked as they all walked down the street.

"What do you think stories are for? These stories are classics. There's a reason we all know them. They're a way for us to deal with our world. A world that doesn't always make sense. See, Henry hasn't had the easiest life." Mary Margaret explained to the blonde-haired woman.

"Yeah, she's kind of a hardass." Emma stated.

"You can say that again." Camilla laughed to herself, she didn't hate the mayor but she didn't particularly like her that much either. She could sense that the feeling was neutral feeling. Mary Margaret shot her best friend a glare.

"No, it's more than her. He's like any adopted child. He wrestles with that most basic question they all inevitably face - why would anyone give me away?" Mary Margaret said, she realised what she had said before apologising to Emma saying, "...I am so sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean in any way to judge you."

"It's okay." Emma responded. Camilla could see the face change as soon as Mary Margaret said the question. The brown-haired girl gave Emma's back a little rub to assure that it'll be alright and the black-haired woman didn't mean it.

"Look, I gave the book to him because I wanted Henry to have the most important thing anyone can have. Hope. Believing in even the possibility of a happy ending is a very powerful thing." Mary Margaret told Emma.

"You know where he is, don't you?" Emma asked the woman next to her.

"You might want to check his castle." Mary Margaret grinned.

Emma went to go off before she turned back towards the Hopper child and asked, "wanna come?" Camilla grinned before nodding

Prince Charming takes a sword near the door and enters the hallway, leaving his wife in the bed where she gave birth to their baby daughter.

As he walked through the hallway, he noticed that two of the Queen's guards had killed one of the Charming's guards. One of the guards was dressed differently than the other, which by the Princes guess meant that whoever that guard was, he or she must be important to the Queen.

The Queen's guards noticed the prince and the baby in his arms and ran to attack. During the fight between Charming and the Queens guards, the prince got injured. In return the Prince killed both of the guards and headed towards where the wardrobe was kept. He went over to the wooden wardrobe and places his baby inside the wardrobe and kisses her forehead.

"Find us..." The Prince said before closing the wardrobe doors. As he done so Two more guards enter the room.

They battled a bit before one of the guards impales the Prince with her sword. The guards break open the wooden wardrobe's doors and discover that it's empty and the baby has gone.

The guard that had opened the wardrobe gave the other one a confused look. They both probably had the same thought which was "where the hell is the child?"

Henry is sitting alone on his 'castle', which was actually a wooden castle-shaped slide at a playground. The playground was along the shore which, to Camilla made her feel calm, she didn't know why. Emma and Camilla walked up behind him while Emma carrying his book.

"You left this in my car." Emma said as she gave him his book back. Camilla was confused to why Henry's favourite thing in the world was in the car of someone who he presumed is his birth mother.

Camilla was cut out of her train of thought when Emma saying, "Still hasn't moved, huh?"

"It's never moved for as long as I can remember." Camilla answered.

"I was hoping that when I brought you back, things would change here. That the final battle would begin." Henry sighed, it hurt Camilla to know that Henry believed that this was all real, when in reality it probably isn't.

"I'm not fighting any battles, kid." Emma responded to the little boy who was next to her.

"Yes, you are. Because it's your destiny. You're going to bring back the happy endings." Henry stated as if it was the most obvious thing, he wanted his mother to believe him more than anything.

"Can you cut it with the book crap." Emma sighed.

"Language, he's ten years old. Let him believe in this." Camilla snapped. Emma shot the girl a glare.

"You don't have to be hostile. I know you like me - I can tell. You're just pushing me away because I make you feel guilty. It's okay. I know why you gave me away. You wanted to give me my best chance." Henry told her.

"How do you know that?" Emma asked the small boy.

"Because it's the same reason Snow White gave you away." Henry told his birth mother.

"Wait, I'm lost. Snow White is Emma's mother?" Camilla asked confused.

"Yes, keep up." Henry quickly responded.

"What Listen to me, kid. I'm not in any book. I'm a real person. And I'm no saviour. You were right about one thing, though. I wanted you to have your best chance. But it's not with me. Come on, let's go." Emma said as all three of them made it off of the castle and walked towards the town, Emma turned to Camilla and asked, "who does Henry think you are?"

"He thinks I'm Jade Stiltskin, the eldest daughter of Rumplestiltskin." Camilla explained as she looked at the little boy next to her, who had stopped in his tracks.

"Please don't take me back there. Just stay with me for one week. That's all I ask. One week, and you'll see I'm not crazy." Henry pleaded. Camilla had her arm around the smaller boy's shoulder and gave him a small hug.

"I have to get you back to your mom." Emma said as she looked at the ten-year-old.

"You don't know what it's like with her. My life sucks!" Henry complained, she could see that he smaller boy had a few tears that had rolled down his chubby cheeks.

"It doesn't suck, Henry." Camilla said to the smaller boy. As she looked at the woman who was in front of the boy, Camilla saw that something had clicked in Emma.

"Oh, you want to know what sucking is? Being left abandoned on the side of a freeway. My parents didn't even bother to drop me off at a hospital. I ended up in the foster system and I had a family until I was three, but then they had their own so then they sent me back. Look, your mom is trying her best. I know it's hard and I know sometimes you think she doesn't love you, but at least she wants you." Emma told as she cried.

"Oh Emma." Camilla said, she wanted to give the woman a hug but considering that she didn't know her that well, she didn't want to.

"Your parents didn't leave you on the side of a freeway. That's just where you came through." Henry stated as he looked at his mother as she was crouched down in front of her child.

"What?" Emma asked as she was slightly confused.

"The wardrobe. When you went through the wardrobe you appeared in the street. Your parents were trying to save you from the curse." Henry told Emma. 'Here we go again' Camilla thought.

"Sure they were. Come on, Henry." Emma said as they all went towards Regina's mansion.

A few minutes had passed and Snow White heard that there wasn't anymore fighting before she got up and went to the room with the wardrobe. She sees the Prince of which she loves the most, on the ground, who appears to be dead.

"No, no! No! No! No! Please... Please come back to me." Snow White said to the unresponsive corps that laid in front of the woman.

She kisses him twice, attempting to revive him, with true loves kiss. The Evil Queen entered the room, alone, without her companion by her side which she had been for the past ten years.

"Oh, don't worry dear. In a few moments, you won't remember you knew him, let alone loved him." The Queen said proudly as a smirk grew on her face.

"Why did you do this?" Snow asked with tears in her eyes.

"Because this is my happy ending." Regina practically hissed at the woman in front of her. As the Queen said this, The two guards entered the room, the same guards that had something to do with Prince Charming's death.

"The child?" The Queen asked the guard who was dressed differently.

"Gone. It was in the wardrobe, and then it was gone. It's nowhere to be found." Jade told her queen.

"Where is she?" The Queen growled.

"She got away... You're going to lose. I know that now. Good will always win." Snow White grinned as she looked down at her husband.

"We'll see about that." The Evil Queen grinned as the ceiling broke apart, and at that part Jade allowed her face to be shown, Snow's face fell slightly as she saw the face of the person who had joined the evil queen in killing her. Snow would never have guessed that Jade Stiltskin had joined the queen. She would have never guessed that her best friend joined the Queen. A twister started to form in the room.

"Where are we going?" Snow questioned as she looked at the storm that had come.

"Somewhere horrible. Absolutely horrible. A place where the only happy ending will be mine." The evil queen laughed as her victory had finally come.

The windows shatter as the dark smoke had filled the room, and they are whisked away. They were taken to a place without magic.

Camilla walked into her house and went straight to her bedroom considering that she had to be up early for the school run. As she got changed she noticed that the clock on the tower had started to move, the one thing that she thought about was Emma. She smiled at the thought of Emma staying, as well as knowing that Henry had managed to worm his way into his mothers head.

Here's my new story Lost boy. Hope you like it.
