Chapter Forty-Selfless, Brave And True

Chapter Forty-Selfless, Brave And True

↬↬↬

I only own Jade/Camilla and my ideas.

"Breakfast in bed? Seriously?" Emma asked as she watched her father go to walk into Mary Margaret's room with a breakfast tray in his hands.

Both Emma and David weren't feeling that great since Camilla hadn't come out of her room.

Well apart from if she needed to go to the toilet, get a monster or go out with Henry. That was about it.

Emma had explained everything she knew about what was happening with Camilla to David. Emma even tried to explain it to Neal though he kept getting upset.

Overall, they were worried about Camilla, though they knew why Camilla ignored them.

David would admit, though Camilla did betray him back in The Enchanted Forest, he still felt worried about what could happen to someone who he could trust.

David quietly turned round as he then said, "What happened has been really hard on Mary Margaret. The least we can do is make sure she's eating."

Before Emma could even utter a single word, a voice cut into the conversation saying, "I think it's time to give the hot cocoa and the foot massages a rest. It's time to haul her ass out of bed and get her to move past this."

Both Emma and David stared at Camilla who was sat on the stairs with her arms leaning against her knees as her hands seemed to be draped over. She wore a vest top which showed just how ill she was.

Both her arms were grey and appeared to be lifeless though every so often they'd see movement within the stone appearance of her arms. The grey, chalky layer could be seen crawling over her shoulders and hiding underneath the top.

Thankfully, her hair covered as much as it could which kinda put Camilla at ease with it all.

David seemed to look up at Camilla with a hint of sadness in his eyes as he then protested, "That's a little harsh, don't you think? She took Cora's life."

"Yeah, and I took thousands. Yeah, the first kill is gonna be hard to get over but you gotta stop treating it like a silly graze from when you trip over on concrete. She's gotta get over it, and with you breathing down her neck isn't gonna help her, it's gonna make her feel even worse about it. Let her be the one who helps herself, not you." Camilla told as Henry came down the stairs.

"Ready, Cam?" Henry asked as he managed to get around Camilla and walk down the rest of the stairs.

"Get your coat and I'll meet you there in a minute," Camilla told as she then went into the kitchen.

She then opened the fridge as she grabbed hold of a monster. A small grin swept onto her face as she felt the coldness of the can on her dead skin.

Camilla as been used to the cold dead feeling of the curse that it always made her feel somewhat better when she felt the coldness of something that wasn't her curse.

Camilla then placed the can onto the side as she then shoved on her bomber jacket and gloves before grabbing her drink and leaving.

David had tried to say something but was cut off by the door closing in his face.

He then let out a small groan as he leaned his head against the door.

Henry had run up the small path with his storybook in his hand as he then walked through the door of Granny's Inn.

Neal noticed how Henry was running towards him as he said, "Hey, buddy."

He then noticed how both Emma and Camilla was walking through the door. Camilla was rolling her eyes with her arms crossed as Emma seemed to be wanting her attention.

"I'm sorry, Cam." Was all of which Neal heard Emma say.

Emma had been trying to apologise as much as she could. She even tried bribing her with food and Monster. Camilla took the food and Monster but still refused to say anything to Emma.

Everyone could tell that she was ill by the way that she looked, by how thin she had gotten due to not eating the right amount every day, by how her eyes seemed just as pale as the rest of her. The cold grey of her skin was one of the first things everyone could notice off of her.

There were times where Camilla would disappear for a few hours or so mainly because she felt as if she should be practising with her daggers along with with with her bow and arrow a lot more. It was still hard for her to move her arms and such but her aim had improved a little bit more.

Neal looked away from his sister as his eyes went to his son as he asked, "How are you?"

Henry smiled at him, responding, "I'm good. I brought this. I thought you could tell me what it was really like over there. Camilla doesn't really talk about it much, she changes the subject every time. Said that she hated talking about it."

Neal then looked back over towards Camilla who rested her head against the wall. He could tell that she was tired, it was quite obvious and it pained him to see her like this.

"Sounds great. I tell you what- why don't you run into the diner, get us three hot cocoas and a coffee, and we'll dive in." Neal suggested with a smile.

Henry nodded as Emma then came up behind him. The boy then ran out of the inn.

Henry didn't want to interrupt Camilla as it seemed as she needed the rest, so the small boy left her.

"I'm gonna have to take a rain check on that. I need to get down to the station to take care of some things." Emma said.

Neal stopped her before she had the chance to get to the door, "Can it wait? There's a couple of things I wanna talk to you and Camilla about... Tamara went to my place to get some of her stuff."

Camilla shot him a look as Emma said, "Okay?"

"Well, her bags were in the storage room, but Hook wasn't," Neal informed.

Camilla let out a bitter laugh, "Looks like she got lucky if Hook was there then..."

"Yeah, but now he's out there," Neal told. Camilla's eyebrows shot up.

Emma shrugged slightly, "I'm not sure how much more trouble he can cause anyway."

"The second thing I wanna talk to you about is... the reason Tamara was getting her stuff is that she's on her way here," Neal told.

Camilla stiffened as Emma asked, "Here? As in Storybrooke?"

"Yeah. She should be here at Granny's any minute now." Neal told.

Camilla groaned, "What are you thinking?"

Neal shot her a look, slightly offended, "What do you mean?"

Camilla shrugged slightly, "Oh I don't know, what are you gonna tell her when she sees a giant or a werewolf run past her down Main Street?"

"Between Greg Mendell, our food-obsessed tourist, and now your fiancée, this town is turning into a theme park," Emma told.

Neal then said, "Maybe I didn't think it all the way through. I'm sorry. I just... I need her."

The pair of them then heard the sound of creaking as Camilla's fist clenched. Her eyes seemed to feel with slight sadness. Emma then gave Neal a small look while Neal seemed to instantly regret what he had said.

Neal instantly said, "Cam, I'm sorry. I didn't-"

Camilla cut him off, "-Forget it, but you don't need to apologise to me. After all, I'm not the one you're lying to."

"Who's lying?" Neal asked as he gave them a small look.

Emma then shot him a look, "Does she know who you really are and where you're really from? Does she know that you've got a sister who can take lives as easy as possible? Take my advice- don't let her find out on her own. Tell her the truth. Tell her everything."

Before Neal could say anything, his phone rang, he then grabbed his phone out of his pocket.

He moved towards the window as he then said, "That's her. She's 10 minutes away. Why don't you two stay and get to know her?"

"I really should be going," Emma told as her eyes widened.

"I know, but we're all connected. Now, it might be nice for you two to talk. Just stay and say hello. She's bringing bagels." Neal told. He then turned towards Camilla as he then asked, "Camilla you up for it?"

"If there's food involved then sure," Camilla responded with a shrug.

Neal then turned to face Emma, "Emma?"

Letting out a small sigh, Emma responded, "You do realise that it wouldn't be a three-way conversation, right?"

Emma gestured towards Camilla, though Neal knew what she meant, he still rose a brow.

"It's her. She'll probably give Tamara a hard time, which now I'm slightly dreading." Neal spoke.

Camilla had refused to talk to Emma since she outed her secret. Anytime that Emma attempted to speak to her, it always ended up with Emma cutting herself off due to the look Camilla would give her.

Neal felt sorry for Camilla with the entire curse but he also understood as to why she was ignoring Emma.

The one thing of which pained the brother was the fact that he could see the pain laced within her eyes every time she said that she was fine.

Emma, Neal, Camilla, Henry, and Tamara were all sat around a table of which was filled with food. Henry had let Camilla have the chair while he sat by her feet.

Henry broke the silence which covered the group as he asked, "So, how did you guys meet?"

A small smirk appeared on Camilla's lips as she said, "Oh, do tell."

Neal gave her a look as a way to tell her to be quiet. Camilla stuck her tongue out at him.

Tamara looked at Camilla, there was something about her which made Tamara on edge.

Tamara then explained, "Um... Well, I was super late to work, rushing like crazy, guzzling my giant coffee, when this guy crashed into me. Hot coffee-soaked my blouse. There was no time to change, so Neal gave me his scarf to hide the stains. And he said I could keep it or call him if I wanted to return it. I decided to call and, well, we've been together ever since."

"What a waste of Coffee," Camilla muttered as she stared at Tamara.

Ignoring what Camilla had said, Emma commented, "Sounds like fate." The blonde then followed it with, "I've gotta drop Henry off with his grandpa. Thanks for the bagel."

Emma, Camilla and Henry had all gotten up from where they sat.

"It was nice meeting you, Tamara," Henry told.

"You, too," Tamara responded as she then took a sip of her drink.

Both Neal and Henry were speaking for a brief moment about the Storybook while Camilla looked at Tamara with a small smirk.

"Nice meeting you," Camilla said. "Don't hurt my brother. You'll have to mess with me if you hurt him."

"Um... I wouldn't want to hurt him." Tamara spoke with confusion in her voice. She then looked towards Neal who seemed to have just finished talking to Henry.

"...See you." Neal finished.

"See you later," Henry responded as the three then left.

Within the walls of Granny's Diner, Camilla had sat on one end of the bar as she spoke to Ruby. Though Camilla knew that Ruby wasn't that sure with her, there was a part of Camilla of which was happy that Ruby could still have a conversation with her.

The Hopper child had held a tight grip on the cup with the hand of which she could still move properly. The pale and grey complexion of her skin was very noticeable, if anyone couldn't notice that something was wrong, the could definitely tell now.

Emma watched both Ruby and Camilla talk and she noticed the way of which Ruby seemed to hug Camilla as if she felt bad. There was a huge part of Emma of which felt bad for spoiling her secret to everyone even though she wasn't ready, however, there was another part of her of which told her that she had done the right thing.

The blonde saviours' attention had turned to Mary Margret as she noticed how she came towards her. Emma then asked, "Hey. What's up? Why the urgent phone call?"

Camilla had then noticed Mary Margret standing by Emma, she let out a sigh as she then departed from Ruby and walked over to them

Camilla had just about heard Mary Margaret say, "It's August. I found him."

Marco had heard the conversation as he then asked, "My boy? He's alive?"

"Yes, but..." Mary Margret began as she rose her hand slightly, "he's completely wooden. He's been living in an abandoned trailer down near the toll bridge."

"What can we do? Can we help him?" Emma asked as she took another sip of her tea.

"No. But I know someone who might be able to--Mother Superior." Mary Margret told.

"Yes. Yes, The Blue Fairy. She helped once. She can help again. She must!" Marco said.

Camilla rolled her eyes slightly as she then left her drink while Emma placed twenty dollars on the counter as they left.

"I know about August. He came to me shortly after the curse broke and asked if I would return him to what he was." Mother Superior told as her, Marco, Emma, Mary Margret and Camilla all stood outside the convent.

Camilla stood there with her arms crossed as she had sunglasses over her eyes. She couldn't threat having her eyes on show as she knew how visible the bags under her eyes were and how her eyes would sometimes flash a light grey colour.

She then flinched slightly as she felt the curse stiffen her neck. Camilla had then scratched her neck as she then felt stone dust fall from her neck.

There was a part of Camilla of which was glad that the others were focused on the August situation rather than fussing about her death.

"Why didn't you?" Emma asked.

"Because what he was is what he is." Mother Superior told as she then turned to Marco, "Do you remember the morning I found you on that beach all those years ago? The day I turned your son into a real boy?"

Marco nodded, "Yes. It was the happiest day of my life."

"I told Pinocchio so long as he remained brave, truthful, and unselfish, he would stay a real boy. But I'm afraid he did not. That is why he changed back." Mother Superior said as she then looked towards Mary Margret, "And that's why there's nothing I can do for him."

"It's true he's done some things he regrets. We all have. But shouldn't he have another chance?" Mary Margret asked as she then looked at Camilla slightly.

Mother Superior then said, "If there is still a path of redemption for August, it is one that he must travel on his own. No one can force him, or it will not be true."

Mary Margaret then looked towards Marco, "Don't despair, Marco. I know there's still hope for your son. There has to be."

The small group had all walked through the woods on their way to August's trailer.

"This is all my fault," Marco said.

"Our children make their own decisions, Marco. You can't blame yourself for anything that's happened." Mary Margret responded.

"Yes, I can. And you should blame me, too. The wardrobe I built for you. The one that transported Emma to this world," Marco said as they all stopped to look at him, "she did not go alone."

"Of course she did. The wardrobe only had enough magic to transport one person." Mary Margret said as she started to walk again.

Marco stopped her by saying, "No, that was a lie I made The Blue Fairy tell you. It had enough magic to transport two, and it did-your daughter... and my son... Pinocchio."

Mary Margaret then asked, "I could have gone with her? With Emma?"

Emma had sent her a small sad look while Camilla felt a sharp shooting pain of which shot through her entire body. She bit down on her tongue to stop her from letting out a painful yell.

Camilla placed her arm onto a tree and rested her head against it while she took in deep breaths. Her body tensed as if it was frozen in that single place, she tried to move but she couldn't. She couldn't even move her toes or foot.

Panic filled Camilla as she then tried to move but couldn't, it was like her mind was playing tricks on her, trying to mess with her.

She managed to move her head as she saw her Enchanted Forest self standing there without her mask on, giving Camilla a small wave before vanishing. And just like that, Camilla was able to move again.

However, what had caught her attention was the sound of Mary Margret slapping Marco. Camilla's head snapped round straight to the small group as her eyes widened.

"Mary Margaret. What are you doing? He's apologizing." Emma said, just as shocked as what Camilla was.

"No, no, that's okay. I deserve that-" Marco began.

Mary Margaret cut Marco off, "-No, that wasn't me. Marco, I am so sorry. I'm not myself. You just made a mistake. I would have done the same thing for my child. I forgive you. You were protecting your son."

"No. I burdened him with a weight no child should have to bear, and I called it love." Marco said. He then noticed the look of which Mary Margret was giving, though it wasn't towards him, it was towards August's trailer of which was just behind Marco.

Marco instantly ran down, followed by Mary Margret, then Camilla and then, Emma.

Marco then proceeded to open the trailer door while Camilla said, "I'm gonna stay out here."

Once Camilla knew that they were all in the trailer, she then made her attempt of running off, though it appeared as if she was hopping in away.

When enough distance was made between her and the trailer, Camilla then took off her jacket and lifted up her shirt to see how bad the curse had gotten on her arms and stomach.

Camilla then saw how grey her stomach really was, she then poked it to feel just how stiff it really was.

At an instant, Camilla coughed and then proceeded to throw up black blood.

"Ah, shit," Camilla muttered as she coughed again. She then wiped her mouth before placing her jacket back on and making her way back towards the trailer.

They were on their way back towards the busy streets of Storybrooke when Emma's phone rang.

Answering the call, Emma said, "Emma Swan."

There was a small pause before Emma then said, " August."

They all stopped walking for a moment when they noticed how Emma rose her hand slightly.

"August..." Emma said. "Warn me? Warn me about what?"

The phone seemed to cut off as they then rushed to the Sheriff Department while Emma had then called David to meet them.

Mary Margret, Marco, Emma, Camilla, Henry and David had all walked towards the station while David took his phone away from his ear. Henry held onto Camilla's hand while they walked.

"If August is still at the station, he's not picking up," David said while August stumbled out of the Sheriff Department.

"August!" Emma yelled as they all ran towards the puppet, "August!"

August had then fallen onto the floor just as they then managed to get to him.

"Oh! My child. My boy. My boy. What happened to you?" Marco asked his son.

"I'm so sorry, papa." August weakly said.

"No. There is nothing to apologize for. Everything is gonna be all right." Marco told, trying to give him some hope.

August then looked towards the blonde, "Emma."

"August," Emma said. Both Emma and Marco then proceeded to lift August up into a sitting position.

"Emma... She's..." August began as he then gasped "She..." August then froze in his puppet form, not being able to deliver the message of which he wanted to.

"Oh, no." Marco said as his voice cracked, "Not again." He then let out a sob.

Emma stood up while Neal appeared. Noticing the man on the floor, Neal asked, "August?"

"No. It can't end this way. He was supposed to get a second chance." Mary Margret said.

"What happened?" Neal asked, slightly confused as to what happened.

"Someone killed him to stop him from telling us something. He used his last dying breath to warn us. I will not let that be in vain." Emma explained.

Henry then muttered under his breath, "Brave... truthful... and unselfish." He then spoke more clearly, "Brave, truthful, and unselfish. Don't you see what this means? That's what Pinocchio was supposed to be. There's still hope. We need The Blue Fairy."

"I'm here, Henry." Mother Superior said as she came out of nowhere.

"Speak and she'll appear," Camilla muttered.

"What does Henry mean?" Mary Margret asked.

"I was able to turn Pinocchio into a real boy after he sacrificed his life for Marco's. If his actions today were indeed brave, truthful, and unselfish, then you're right. There's a chance I can do it again." Mother Superior explained as she then stood beside August and Marco.

"Please, I beg of you. Try." Marco begged.

Mother Superior nodded as she then closed her eyes and pointed her wand at August's body.

Slowly, the wooden man and reverted back into a real boy.

Pinocchio looked at his father and asked, "Father?"

"Pinocchio. Look." Marco said with tears, "Look."

Pinocchio then looked down then up at Marco, "I'm a real boy. I'm a real boy!"

Marco helped the boy up as they then hugged while everyone stood there with a smile. Even Camilla stood there with a small smile written across her face.

Tamara then had come towards the group though none of them seemed to pay attention to her other than Neal.

Mother Superior then slightly warned, "Do better this time, Pinocchio."

Emma then went over to the small boy, "Pinocchio? I have to ask you a question. I need you to think real hard, okay? Before you turned into a little boy, you were trying to tell us something very important. Do you remember? You were trying to warn us about something."

"I... I don't remember. If I did, I would be truthful. I promise." Pinocchio told her.

Marco then walked away with Pinocchio while both Henry and Emma went over to both Mary Margaret and David, giving them a hug.

Camilla, on the other hand, seemed to get a sudden wave of pain which made her lose her balance slightly.

Neal noticed as he then walked over, putting his arms out - just in case - while he asked, "Camilla are you okay?"

She then nodded, "Apart from dying, yeah I'm great. Just need to get some sleep then - then I'll be alright."

Mary Margaret gave Camilla a confused look before looking towards both Emma and David who seemed to tell her that they'll tell her later.

"Are you sure?" Neal asked as he rose a brow.

"Yes, Neal. Don't worry about it. After however many more days or whatever I've got left, then there's no need to worry." Camilla said with a small shrug as she shoved her hands in her pockets.

"Come on, let's get back," Emma told. Camilla nodded as she then gave Henry a piggyback all the way back to the apartment.

It didn't take them long to get back to Mary Margaret's apartment. Both Camilla and Henry were the first to get to the apartment.

Well, Mary Margaret, David and Emma were still walking down the street to get to the apartment. They made sure that they were quite far from Camilla while they discussed her issue.

"Why did Camilla say that she was dying?" Mary Margaret asked.

"That's because she is, Snow," David told.

"From what?" Mary Margaret asked as she gave her husband a look.

"Someone put a curse on her, don't know when don't know who," Emma responded.

"Well, what curse?" Mary Margaret asked as she then crossed her arms.

"The Morse Curse, or more commonly known as The Stone Curse," David responded.

Mary Margaret then released a small gasp as her eyes widened, "No! What?! Seriously?"

Emma nodded, "Yeah, Camilla told me about it two and a bit weeks ago, and I accidentally told Neal about it just before the entire Cora death thing happened and then, I spilled mistakenly about it to David, Regina and Henry. However, Regina didn't seem so surprised about it compared to David."

Just as Emma finished what she was saying, the three had just made their way into the apartment to see how Camilla had a can of Monster in her hand. Camilla had bent down to kiss Henry on the head, it was then that Many Margaret's eyes widened as she noticed the grey complexion on both of Camilla's arms and hands which seemed to trail up and be covered by her shirt.

"I'm going to bed. Night." Camilla told as she then made her way up to her room.

They noticed the slight limp in her walk up the stairs, the three all seemed to share the same pained expression.

"You two aren't going to go to sleep until you tell me absolutely EVERYTHING about Camilla's condition and what's happened in the week that I've been distant." Mary Margaret told.

***

Camilla laid in her bed, asleep, however she doesn't remember exactly when she fell asleep.

She tossed and turned in her bed (as best she could without it sounding like her arm would snap off) while her mind seemed to enclose her into what seemed like hell.

She was running, through the forest and she was frightened. That was a first in a while. Camilla Hopper was frightened but she didn't know what of.

All she knew was that she needed to run. She had to run, if she stopped then she'd die. Her legs grew tired but she had to keep pushing. She had to keep going, her life was on the line. If she wanted to live, she had to keep running.

"Jade, oh dear Jade. Always running." A familiar voice said and at an instant, Camilla froze. "You're just like me. You ran and you kept going. Your father feared that this would happen, that you'd become just like me and he was correct."

At the sound of the voice, Camilla stopped running. Her feet froze still as her heart dropped. She stared at the woman in front of her, a woman she hasn't seen since that day, since that goddamn day where she would willingly murder her own dad because of it. This was the same woman who was the only parent to love her.

"Mom." Was all of which came out of Camilla's mouth followed with, "I-I missed - I What? I mean, no offence, but your dead - you've been dead for so long, how are you here?"

"Darling, I've always been here," Milah told as she then let out a sinister laugh. "I'm everywhere." Suddenly there were hundreds, maybe thousands of copies of Milah all surrounding Camilla.

Camilla then looked round, fear. This might be the reason as to why fear enveloped her. Maybe she was so scared of what her mother thought of her that it consumed her mind without realising it.

"Jade Jessie Stiltskin, look how far you've come," Milah commented. "You went from a sweet innocent child to a murderous freak and a disgrace of a child."

Camilla shook her head as tears formed in her eyes. The one person who she looked up to when she was younger had called her the one name she was always called. A disgrace of a child. She should be used to it, Camilla always called herself that or worse, yet hearing it from the one person who she loved so much call her it, it hurt her.

"No, no, please. Not you too. Please, not you. You love me, you always have. You were always there for me when father wasn't when father spent the most time with Baelfire." Camilla spoke as her voice broke.

Milah let out a dry laugh, "You seriously think that I cared about you? That anyone cares about you?"

Then suddenly, Mary Margaret, David, Henry, Neal along with Baelfire, Peter and Gold seemed to appear beside Milah.

"You seriously think that anyone ever cared about you? You think that these people ever cared about you?" Milah asked. "None of these people ever cared about you, and they never will."

Camilla then shook her head, "NO! Shut up!"

"Oh come on, Jade, you know it's true," Milah spoke as a smirk grew on her lips.

Camilla then seemed to fall to her knees as she covered her ears, "Snap out of this Camilla, don't give in."

"Oh dear, you've already given in," Milah spoke with a bitter laugh.

This wasn't real. She knew it was. Her mother was the only one who cared about her when her father didn't.

Camilla's eyes then widened. She rose her head as she stared at her mother, a grin then formed, "Mother, I hope you realise that Rumpelstiltskin never gave a shit about me, his daughter or not, he wanted to be rid of me."

Milah's face then dropped and Gold disappeared, Camilla then continued, "Baelfire, on the other hand, I was all he had, I made sure that he was safe, he was always the one to check up on me after father ripped out my heart."

Then both Neal and Baelfire vanished. Milah seemed to grow annoyed as she stared at Camilla.

"Now David, yeah he's had a bit of a problem with me, but he always said that no matter what, he'd be there for me. He kept telling me back in the Enchanted Forest that he cared about my safety, even though he knew I was capable of." Camilla continued and then David vanished into a puff of smoke.

Vines then grew from the ground as they wrapped around Camilla's ankles and made their way up.

"Henry, the little boy I've been babysitting since he was three. I've been looking after Henry for years. He's always made sure that I felt welcome, that I was okay. He has always been the one who cared when everyone else saw me as a freak. So darling, don't tell me that Henry Daniel Mills never cared about me." Camilla growled.

Milah looked at the small boy to see how he vanished. Her hands clenched to the side as she stared at Camilla.

"Shut up! We both know that they've never cared!" Milah yelled.

Camilla then rose her brow, "Really? Because it seems as if at any time I tell something truthful, they disappear."

When Milah went silent, Camilla grinned.

"Anyway, Mary Margaret may have been a little protective over the shit that I did but she cared. She welcomed me when everyone called me the huntress of the shadows, even nicknamed me Shadow. Mary Margaret cares about me." Camilla grinned and poof, Mary Margaret was gone.

Henry walked down the hallway towards Camilla's room, considering that he could have sworn that he heard something dropping in her room. Plus all he could hear was struggling as if she was putting up a fight.

The small boy then rubbed his eyes as he was just woken up by the noises. He was worried that was for sure. He didn't know what was going on, he wasn't sure if anyone else heard what was going on, but by the looks of it, no one else did.

As Henry reached the door of Camilla's room, he heard stuff being pushed off of high places and stuff being kicked over. Henry was pretty sure that he heard Camilla letting out a small yelp.

It was then he opened the door to see Camilla in a state where he wished he could take back.

"MOM! SOMEONE! WAKE UP!" Henry yelled, in hopes to wake someone up. His eyes were wide as he went stiff.

Milah then looked over towards Peter Pan who stood there as still as a statue. A small grin then formed on her lips as she then grabbed Peter by the cheeks.

"What about this thing here? The boy who lives forever?" Milah asked, "The boy who seemed to pick on you when you first met. How the hell did someone like you, end up with the boy who has lived a long life?"

Camilla then lifted her head as she struggled against the vines of which now seemed to make their way to her arms.

"Easy. I gave him a hard time. I managed to let out every bit of anger that I had, he saw something. He saw something that everyone else saw - pain and trauma. Yet he was the first one who wanted to help, he wanted to help me with my feelings, with the trauma and pain. He cared when everything else was lost." Camilla explained. She noticed that Peter began to fade.

She continued, "He cared when my hope was lost when the sanity for my life was lost when all hope of wanting to live anymore was lost. Peter gave me hope, hope that one day life could be better, that if I worked for a better life, no matter how much shit was in front of me, that I could get some sanity. Peter Pan not only helped me, but he also loved me when no one else did. Peter Pan became the person I love the most. Peter Pan became my True Love."

Peter then vanished and the anger built up within Milah as she stormed over towards the tied up Camilla Hopper. Her hand rose as she went to hit her own daughter.

"I love you, mom," Camilla muttered. Milah then froze as if someone had said something of which shocked them the most.

Milah wasn't shocked, to say the least, no she was far from it. It was like Camilla's words seemed to make her forget what she was doing.

Milah then dropped her arm as she stared at Camilla. However, Camilla seemed to struggle against the vines of which slowly began to wrap around her throat.

Camilla tried to use her strength to pull her arm out from the vines grasp but it failed.

The vision of Milah vanished and as did the vines. As the vines went, Camilla coughed considering that it was painful enough on her throat.

Emma, Mary Margaret and David had quickly rushed to where they heard Henry's voice. They noticed how the small boy was standing outside Camilla's room with the door wide open. They noticed how the small boy seemed to be frozen in shock as he stared in.

The three all shared a look with each other before they then looked into Camilla's room.

Inside Camilla's room, it was a complete mess. Bottles were all over the place, there was a box filled with a lot of stuff all trashed over the floor. The covers of her bed seemed to be half on the floor and half out the window. Her pillows were everywhere.

But what was most disturbing was how Camilla was stood in the middle of her room with blood pouring out of her nose and mouth. She held a dagger in her hand as held it against her stomach. Her eyes had turned full stone grey as if the curse had taken over.

Mary Margaret's eyes widened, "What the hell is going on?"

Emma looked at Camilla with worry, "The curse, sometimes it takes over and she has to fight against it to stay sane."

"How do we get her out of it?" Mary Margaret asked.

"We can't. It's something she's gotta do." Emma told.

"Well, we've gotta try!" David yelled as he then neared Camilla. "Camilla, can you hear me? It's David. Put the dagger down!"

All Camilla then heard was the sound of someone clapping. She then looked around before she then noticed her Enchanted Forest self standing there clapping.

"Wow, I thought you wouldn't get out of that. I was hoping that you wouldn't." The twin bluntly said.

"Fuck you." Camilla hissed as she gave the twin a look.

"Get up!" The twin snapped as it dragged Camilla up and forced her to walk towards an almost dead body of which seemed almost dull.

"What the actual hell is that?" Camilla asked as she pulled a face.

"It's your subconscious. The thing of which tries to make you rethink the crazy shit." The twin responded with a slight psychotic look in its eyes.

"Okay that's nice, I'd like to get a decent night sleep now, so thank you so much for all of this. It's been a pleasure." Camilla told with a hint of sarcasm as she then went to walk away.

The twin grabbed hold on her arm, saying, "Sorry, dearie, you're not going anywhere."

Camilla then felt something in her hand, she looked down to see how one of her swords was in her hand. Camilla stared at it with confusion.

However, before she could question it, Camilla saw the subconscious version come at her to strike. She then quickly managed to block it as she then kicked its shin.

Camilla then felt a sharp pain just where she kicked the subconscious.

The twin let out a bitter laugh, "Oh, Camilla, did you just hurt yourself? Shame, really. Do you want to know why your subconscious looks like this?"

"Oh yeah, now you want to tell me when I'm fighting? Go on, teach me Spanish as well." Camilla stated with a growl. She then tried to strike against the subconscious.

"It looks like that because of how much you've pushed it down. You've been pushing it down ever since you found out your mother supposedly died when you were eleven. And from then on, you've pushed everything of which made you human down and you became more and more like a monster." The twin spoke. Then suddenly the twin was right by her ear and whispered, "Like the monster, you are right now."

Camilla let out a yell as she then managed to strike the subconscious in the side. Just then Camilla felt blood pour from her side.

"This - this is me." Camilla then muttered. "You're making me fight against myself. If I hurt the subconscious, I hurt myself. You want me to kill my subconscious so I kill myself."

The twin then let out a dramatic gasp, "I would never. And your point would be?"

"David! Get away! She could hurt you!" Emma snapped.

David looked back at his daughter, "I don't care. She's still my friend, and friends look out for each other."

"David, maybe Emma's right. We have no idea what the hell is going on in her mind, she could harm anyone of us." Mary Margaret warned.

"Or she could do worse, like harm herself." David told, "She needs our help, Snow, and we haven't been there for her. Yeah, she's done some shitty things to us, but especially through times like this, Camilla needs us, more than anything."

"I control you, I control the subconscious, and most importantly, I can leave," Camilla spoke with a grin. "In other words, fuck you."

The twin then looked at her with wide eyes as it shook its head towards her.

David then noticed that the grip on the dagger had loosened, he then gently walked over towards her and tried to remove the dagger.

He had managed to get the dagger away but just as he did, Camilla had dropped to the floor and had begun to throw up black blood.

"Fuck." Was all of which Camilla said before she passed out.

"Is she okay?" Emma asked.

David then kneeled down as he checked her pulse, "She's still alive if that's what you mean, but we've gotta get her to Gold. Maybe he'll know something more and might be able to help."
