Chapter Forty One-Lacey
↬Chapter Forty One-Lacey↬
↬↬↬
I only own Jade/Camilla and my ideas.
Emma knocked on Gold's door - repeatedly - saying, "Gold, open up! It's important!" Outside stood Henry, Mary Margret and David, Camilla was in David's arms - still unconscious.
What had worried them was the fact that it seemed as if Camilla was getting a lot worse than what she was. Her skin paled and the blood that still coated her lips was more noticeable on her pale skin.
Gold then opened the door asking, "What the hell do you want at this time of the night?"
They all didn't say anything, yet all their eyes went on Camilla. It was then that Gold had opened the door wider for them to come in. They hurried in as quickly as they could which slightly worried the man though he'd hate to admit it.
"I'll repeat myself again, what do you want?" Gold asked yet again with a small sigh.
"Your daughter, she's sick." Mary Margret bluntly told.
"And frankly, I'm surprised that you're not trying to spend some time with her considering her condition." David spoke.
Gold gave David a look as he then spoke, "There's nothing of which I can do, magic doesn't work on her, I should know, I cast the spell on her."
"Then undo it!" Emma snapped, "She's your daughter, for god sake!"
Camilla then managed to fall from David's grasp in complete pain, her body felt as if it couldn't move, everything felt tight as if she was trapped. Camilla let out a painful hiss as she scrunched her eyes shut.
"Fuck sake!" Camilla growled.
"Cam, are you okay?" Mary Margret asked.
"Oh you know, never better." Camilla sarcastically told. After a few more moments, the pain was gone, she weakly rose with the help of David.
"Gold, if you're keeping anything from us, please just say it now or your daughter's life will be in your hands." Emma told.
Camilla then looked around as her eyebrows knitted together, "Why on earth are we at Gold's house? This is the man who would willingly let me die."
"Gold might be able to help you with you-know-what." Mary Margret told.
Camilla let out a bitter laugh, "You seriously think that the Dark One's magic will be able to help me, who - by the way - is cursed of which many people have died from and have tried to look for a magical solution for but have failed because the only way to break this blasting thing is true love. And if you haven't notice Peter Pan isn't in this realm, and there's no way to get to where he is."
They all went silent for a moment, they knew that she was right. There was nothing of which they could do, they weren't Peter, they couldn't break the curse for her. They all knew that she had to suffer with this.
It was then Gold remembered something, "Camilla, the numbers on your arm, do you remember what they were for?"
"Yeah - no, I don't remember. My memory has been kinda shit lately, so it's hard to remember things." Camilla responded.
"What are you talking about, Gold? What numbers?" Emma asked.
Henry then joined into the conversation, "They're what tracks how many spells both Gold and my mom can cast on her with her permission."
Camilla then let out a sigh, "Let me guess, you're going to ask me if I can give permission to you, for you to then try and ease the pain for it. Well, to shorten it, the answer is: no."
"Camilla..." Emma began as she gave her a look.
Camilla cut her off, "-No! This is my choice. I'd rather die than to let Gold try and ease the pain."
Gold stared at Camilla as he narrowed his eyes, even after everything he has done and how much Camilla tries to hide things, Gold would always be able to tell when there's something of which is being hidden.
Gold stared at Camilla as he then spoke, "Your hiding something." He then pointed towards his child. "What are you hiding?"
"Oh, I don't know, maybe the fact that my mother, your ex, decided to think that it would be fun to tell me that the people that I care about - don't care for me." Camilla told with sarcasm laced within her voice. "But that probably was just my subconscious thing playing tricks on my mind."
"Wait, Camilla, what do you mean?" Mary Margret asked as her eyebrows knitted together. "I've never heard you talk about your mother before."
Throughout the time of which Mary Margaret had known Camilla, not once had she said anything about her mother. However, back over in their land - whenever they would run into Gold (well, Rumpelstiltskin), there would always be a hint of anger and pain hidden within her eyes of which Mary Margaret could easily notice.
"I choose not to say shit about my mother because this fool-" Camilla started but was cut of by Gold saying, "Now's not the time to explain this Jade, your dying, that should be the topic of this conversation."
"Oh fuck off, Gold, I talk about what the hell I want to talk about." Camilla snapped. "You just don't want me to say that you killed my mother while I watched and that's why Hook wants your head!"
Gold seemed to give her a small look while the others seemed to stare wide-eyed between the pair of them.
It was then that both Mary Margaret and David realised just how much of a victim Camilla was when it came to pain. Yes, they could argue saying that they've witnessed enough pain in their life, but as much as they refused to say it; maybe Camilla was victimised by pain all to much as to why she was the way she was.
Maybe all this pain she's witnessed and felt was to why she acted the way she did, just so she could feel anything other than the pain inside of her. Though they knew that the pain she felt should've been handled differently rather than through violence.
It wasn't till Emma then shook her head, "Look, we can talk about your mother and all of this later on, but can we get back onto the subject of the fact that you are literally dying? And the fact that you almost killed yourself?"
"Of course she would have tried to pull that stunt, she'll try and harm herself before she fully turns into stone." Gold informed.
"You know what, I don't wanna know what the hell I'm gonna do to myself before I die, so goodbye." Camilla spoke as she then walked out of Gold's house. Henry followed behind her instantly, not wanting her to be alone.
David seemed to let out a small sigh as he shook his head. Emma, Mary Margret and David all then shared a look, they all shared one thought of which they dreaded to ask.
However it was David who then asked, "How long has she got?"
Gold then let out a small sigh as he shook his head, "Judging by the stone-like complexion of her skin, and what you told me she tried to do to herself, I'd say less then seven days left."
"No." Mary Margret whispered as she covered her mouth with shock.
"How can that be? She can't even remember how long she's got left alive." David spoke as he shook his head.
"That's another side effect of the curse, she'll slowly start to loose parts of her memory." Gold explained.
"How do you know so much about this curse?" Emma asks, "It's kind of suspicious the fact that you know all so much about this curse, almost as if it could have been you to place it on her."
"I can assure that I had nothing to do with it. However, I do know who did curse her, so does the Queen, after all we were present when the curse was enacted. Before you say anything about how either me or Regina could stop it from happening, Squid Ink stopped us." Gold explained.
"First of all, what the hell is Squid Ink? Second of all, who exactly put the curse on her?" David asked.
"Squid Ink is something of which can freeze powerful magic users such as myself." Gold explained briefly. "As for who cursed the person you all seem to care so much about, the person is no longer with us. She was killed by Mary Margret."
"Cora." Emma spoke, shocked, "Why would Cora curse her?"
"She had her reasons, and this is Jade Stiltskin we're talking about. After all, Cora never done something without a reason, therefore Jade must have done something to Cora for her to place this curse on our dear Camilla." Gold responded. "Now will you mind showing yourselves out, I would like to get some sleep tonight."
Jade Stiltskin laid on the floor of the camp, looking up to the sky, the fire was long burned out as the Lost Boys tried to get some sleep. As for the Stiltskin, she laid awake staring at the stars of which seemed to shine bright within the bleak sky.
There were times when Jade just simply wanted to look up at the sky, and she didn't really care for where she was when she did. By how long Jade has been on the Island, the Lost Boys all grew used to as to what Jade does.
Throughout the time of which Jade had been on Neverland, there has always been one thing of which she always liked to stare at - which was the stars. However, there were times when the Lost Boys would joke around with saying how Peter should be her favourite thing to stare at; and every time, Jade would slap them for the comments on their relationship.
"Jade! Get up from the floor, please." Peter told the female.
Jade leaned her head up as she gave Peter a look, "You're not the boss of me, shut up!"
Peter let out a sigh as he then signalled the Lost Boys - who then proceeded to near the Stiltskin with some buckets filled with water.
Jade had noticed how the boys came closer towards her, it was then that she sat up as she looked round towards all of them. Her eyes then proceeded to widen when she noticed the small grin of which formed on both of her best friend's faces.
"No!" Jade yelled with a small smile, "If you're going to do what I think you're gonna do, then please don't."
"Sorry, but this is just for fun." Devin told while Jade stood up.
Jade looked round with a grin as she tried to find a way to escape, yet just as she noticed a way to escape, she felt water being poured over her head. Jade let out a small gasp while she tensed up slightly.
"ASSHOLE!" Jade yelled just as the other Lost Boys threw the buckets of water over her.
She then turned round to see how Peter was stood there trying not to laugh with a bucket in his hand. Jade just simply shook her head as she glared at him.
"I hate you so much." Jade stated as she narrowed her eyes.
"I love you too." Peter managed to get out, trying to hide his grin.
"Who's idea was this?" Jade asked as she then proceeded to give them all a look. A look of which they all knew too well - one of which they knew they were fucked.
The Lost Boys then all proceeded to drop the buckets as they all seemed to point at Peter. Even both Felix and Devin dropped the buckets they were holding.
"Snitches." Peter muttered as he crossed his arms and pouted a little.
"Sorry, Peter, but she's mom here, and honestly - we don't want to die." One of the Lost Boys said.
It was then that Peter noticed the look on Jade's face to which he had then slowly backed away from. Jade seemed to have a small sinister grin written across her face to which suggested that she had already thought of a way to get back at Peter.
"Peter, darling, run." Jade suggested as she then started to run towards Peter.
"I'll see you later, okay?" Camilla said as she shared a hug with Henry.
"Yep. Don't be late." Henry responded as he looked up towards the female.
The small boy then proceeded to walk towards his father - who seemed to be coming towards the pair - though, Henry seemed to stop in his tracks as he turned round and called out, "I love you!"
Camilla smiled as she waved, "Love you too, kid."
By this time, Neal was already standing opposite Camilla as he seemed to have some sort of look written across his face. Camilla rose an eyebrow as she then asked, "What is it? You look like you need to say something."
Neal released a small sigh as he said, "All I wanted to say was: Don't do anything stupid before I see you again."
Camilla shook her head slightly, "How can I? You're taking all the stupid with you."
Neal shook his head as he then hugged Camilla. After they pulled away, Neal and Henry then walked away. Camilla had then walked towards Mary Margret, David and Emma - who all stood there with a small smile on their face.
"What?" Camilla asked. "We've gotta go."
Mary Margret just shook her head slightly as she smiled, saying, "It's just when you told some stories to us about your brother, I never actually expect you to be so close with him. Especially with how many years you've been apart."
Camilla simply shrugged, "I know, but I know he's scared which is why he's trying so hard to be a brother again after everything. And obviously visa versa."
"It's nice to see that you've finally got to see him again." Mary Margret told.
"Yeah, but I just wish that it was under better circumstances." Camilla responded with a weak smile. "But, enough about this, Henry wants me to meet him at Granny's in two hours, so lets get going."
Camilla had then jumped into the back of David's truck while the others got into the front. David had then drove them all to a field of which, honestly, seemed to have little value to them, which had made Camilla wonder as to why they were there.
As they all got out of the truck - well Camilla jumped off - Emma seemed to ask the question of which wondered Camilla's mind, "Why are we in the middle of nowhere? Why aren't you guys telling me what's going on? Why the secrecy?"
"Because you need to see it." Mary Margret responded.
"I hate secrets." Camilla muttered as she crossed her arms.
Camilla hadn't really noticed that Emma stood beside her, but honestly, she couldn't care less. There was a small part of Camilla that personally wanted to snap towards Emma for telling her secret, though she didn't want to waste her breath.
"Great. That always goes well for me. Listen, whatever it is, it can wait. August was trying to warn me about something-someone dangerous." Emma reminded them.
"Doesn't matter." David responded, putting his arm around Mary Margret.
"I'm sorry, but why doesn't it matter that there is someone out there who might kill us all?" Camilla asked, shooting them a look.
Mary Margaret shook her head slightly as she responded, "Because of this."
Mary Margret had took hold of Emma's hand as the four of them had all walked towards an empty field. Camilla seemed to roll her eyes slightly, though they then widened when she noticed that the field was filled with magic beans.
The first thought of which Camilla seemed to have was, Peter. This was her way back home, to her first family; but, she knew that she couldn't just drop everything and rush right back to Neverland, knowing that the friends she made here might need her, with the very little amount of time she had left.
What had snapped Camilla out of her thoughts was a voice calling out, "Emma."
The former huntress looked to see that the voice seemed to belong to Anton - or now called Tiny, or whatever he'd want to be called.
"Hey." Emma said as both Anton and Emma shared a small hug.
"Are you here to help?" Anton asked, "It's not quite harvest time yet."
Emma then realised what seemed to realise what was happening, "Beans. You're growing magic beans. That's what you were up to when I was in New York?"
It was then that Camilla snapped as she turned to face both Mary Margret and David, "Why didn't you tell me?"
David had chuckled slightly, "We are telling you. We kept it a secret to protect the crop. Mother Superior, she cloaked the area. That way Anton can do what he does best."
"Actually, you haven't seen me play darts, I'm giving Jade a run for her money." Anton joked. "But, yeah, I do this pretty good."
Cutting into the conversation, Emma asked, "Um, Anton, don't take this the wrong way, but w-why-why are you so..."
Anton cut in, "Small?" Emma nodded as Anton continued, "Cora. She and Regina brought some magic to make me human-sized. Kind of like it."
Before they could continue their conversation, Leroy butted in saying, "Enough lollygagging! Back to it."
"Wow. Dwarves really like to work. It's great to see you, Emma." Anton said as he then walked away.
Emma let out a small chuckle, "You too."
However, Emma then frowned as she walked forward a little, "You want to use the beans to make a portal, to go back to the Enchanted Forest. That's the real reason you didn't tell me. What about Ogres and destruction and danger?"
"We can fix all that. We did it before, we can do it again." David spoke.
"We can start over, Emma." Mary Margret tried to convince.
Camilla seemed to stare at the growing beans, she wanted them to hurry up and grow just so that she could get to Peter. She wanted to get to Peter so badly, she wanted to go back to Neverland, she wanted to see her boys again. However, there was a part of her which told her not to.
"So, you've changed your mind. You wanna go now, too." Emma pointed out as she stared towards her mother.
Mary Margaret shook her head slightly, "Not my mind. My heart. After what I did to Cora, I think restoring our land is the best way to mend it."
"It'll be good for all of us, the whole family. Henry... and you." David told
"We're from there. You're from there." Mary Margret said.
"No, this world is.. my home." Emma spoke, not really liking the idea of leaving the world she grew up in.
"And it's been nothing but cruel to you. If we go back, I think you might be able to have your happy ending." David told.
Mary Margret then glanced towards Camilla - who still stood there looking at the growing beans - Mary Margret then said, "And Camilla will be able to go back to Neverland and break the curse."
Camilla had shook her head as she quickly rubbed her eyes, "Yeah, I wouldn't count on if True Love's kiss works anymore. We've been apart for so long, there's a part of me which believes that he's moved on. Thirty-eight years we've been apart, yeah True Love might not cure me."
The Hopper child has then walked away from the bean grove and from the group. The small family had then followed Camilla out of the growing bean plant.
"Was that really necessary?" Peter asked as he held his eye.
"Peter I said I was sorry. It was an accident." Jade told as she tried to stop herself from laughing.
The pair of them had walked back into the camp after Jade had literally chance Peter halfway across the island. The Lost Boys had noticed the duos return, some of them had tensed up slightly, wondering what had happened and what will happen.
Felix had came up to the pair of them as he asked, "What happened? Jade, did you beat Pan up?"
"She punched me in the eye!" Peter exclaimed.
"I tripped over a branch! You just so happened to turn around as my fist was coming towards your face!" Jade defended.
"You still punched me!" Peter argued.
"You still punched me." Jade mimicked in a higher pitched voice. She then spoke normally, "Shut up, complaining, it was an accident."
Peter had then crossed his arms as he shot Jade a look, "I don't believe you."
"Okay, you do that." Jade spoke with a grin. "While you're here not believing me, I'll be doing something important."
"Like what, exactly?" Peter asked, giving her a small curious look.
Jade simply shrugged, "Annoying the fuck out of Hook."
"I don't see how that's important." Felix stated as he shot his friend a look. Both Felix and Peter had shared a small look with each other, before looking back towards Jade.
"It's important because it's fun, and fun is honestly one of the best things to exist." Jade told with a small shrug, she had then called out, "Who wants to piss Hook off for no particular reason at all?!"
There were a few little cheers of which emitted from some of the Lost Boys - who had then went over towards Jade. A small smirk appeared on Jade's lips as she shot Peter a look.
"Those who decide to stay will have to put up with Peter and his whining!" Jade called out, yet again. It was then that more of the Lost Boy's had came over towards Jade.
The female had let out a small laugh while Peter had looked at her in shock. He knew that she was joking, but honestly, Peter had never had thought himself as someone who whined. Though, he seemed to shrug it off, wanting to say something about it later on.
"Come on, assholes, let's go annoy some bitches." Jade spoke as she - along with most of the Lost Boys - had all made their way towards the direction of where the beach was.
What Jade had planned was that she'd try and lure the pirates towards the shore and that's when their teasing would begin. Oh how fun this would be - that is if she doesn't get killed that is, but other than that, she's sure that it'll be fun.
Camilla was standing beside David within the walls of Granny's Diner while Granny had came walking over towards Leroy with a tray of chilli in her hands as Granny then said, "Eleven bowls of chilli. No beans. You and the dwarfs got something against beans?"
"Oh, let's just say we've had our fill over the past couple of weeks." David responded as he went through his wallet for money.
Without hesitation, Camilla had already placed two twenty dollars onto the counter, sending the prince a small weak smile.
"I'm not going to be here soon, so might as well try and drain everything I have." Camilla stated with a small shrug.
"What exactly are you boys up to, anyway?" Granny asked as she gave the three a look. However, Granny seemed to be that slightly bit hesitant with even giving Camilla a simple glace, yet due to what Camilla looked like, she thought that maybe it was time that she trusted Camilla again.
"Just a little landscaping." Leroy answered with a small bluff.
The bell on the door had rung, indicating that someone had came into the Diner. Camilla had looked towards the door, only to see Gold coming up beside Leroy. Camilla groaned slightly, though she could see the slight anger and pain of which seemed to fill his eyes.
"Is this seat taken?" Gold asked, gaining the rest of their attention. "You might want to run along. I need to chat to the Prince and my child."
Leroy kept a glare towards Gold while David spoke, "It's all right, Leroy-"
Camilla cut him off, placing a hand on David's shoulder - no matter how much pain it put her through, saying, "We got this."
Leroy had then got up, leaving the three in peace. Well - some sort of peace. Camilla had to try and hold back anything negative, wanting to see what the man wanted to say before saying anything sarcastic.
"What do you want to chat about, Gold?" David asked, giving him a small look.
"Regina." Gold said. "She, uh, helped jog Belle's memory."
Camilla's eyebrows frowned slightly as she gave him a look, saying, "That's good, then."
Both the prince and the bandit had then went to walk away before they were then stopped by Gold saying, "No, no. Wrong memories. She now thinks she's a scantily-clad barfly named Lacey. She has a false life," Gold had then looked towards the prince, "As you did, under the curse with Kathryn. Only hers apparently involves a lot more alcohol."
"Sound's like me. If I could actually be served it." Camilla stated. Both Gold and David had given her a look, to which Camilla just shrugged slightly.
David had then shook his head slightly, to then ask, "What do you want with us?"
"I want to know how the pair of you did it." Gold responded. He then looked towards David saying, "Even when both your heads were filled with false memories, David Nolan still won Mary Margaret's heart." He then looked towards Camilla continuing, "And you had dreams about Peter, to then get your real memories back just before the curse broke, no matter how bad the curse affected you."
"You want us to help you?" Camilla asked as she tilted her head slightly.
"Well, I'm certainly not here for the over-praised lasagne." Gold responded.
Granny had then turned around and gave Gold a dirty look.
"You got my wife to murder someone." David reminded in a hushed voice.
"Someone who would have killed all of you. Look, if you two don't want to help, that's fine. But if you do, for the first time ever, I'm gonna owe you a favour." Gold spoke.
"All right." David said with a small sigh.
Gold had then given Camilla a look as he rose a brow, "Camilla?"
Letting out a small sigh, Camilla nodded, "Fine."
"When Regina cursed Mary Margaret, Camilla and I, there was still a sliver of Snow, Charming, and Jade left." David explained.
"The real us was still trapped inside." Camilla added.
Gold had given the two a look, asking, "So how do I bring back the real Belle?"
"Show her the man she fell in love with." David responded.
"Gonna need shit tone of glitter." Camilla mutter. David had then hit Camilla on her side, though instantly apologised when he heard the sound of stone cracking slightly.
Jade and the other Lost Boys had gone to the beach where they had tried to keep a look out for Hook and his ship. She had told them the plan, which was that she'd go to the Jolly Roger alone, steal something that has value to Hook - which would then lure Hook and the others to the shore and that was then they'll play their little trick.
"Are you sure that you wanna go there alone?" Devin had asked. Though he knew that it was a good plan, he didn't want her to lose her life because he feared what Pan would think and the fact that he didn't want to lose a person who he saw like a sister.
"Yeah, I'll go alone. If there's too many of us going, then Hook would get a little bit suspicious on what the hell is going on." Jade spoke. She then shrugged, "Plus, Hook knows that if anyone hurt me or killed me, they'll have to face Peter's fury. So I'm sure that he'd try not hurt me in any way."
Devin nodded slightly, "Okay, just don't get hurt. I wanna see you back here in one piece."
"God, Devin, you're acting like a parent." Jade joked, "It's a simple prank, nothing's gonna go wrong."
"Shush." Devin said with a small grin.
Before Devin could say anything else, one of the Lost Boy's called out towards the duo, "Hey! We found the Jolly Roger. It's not that far out."
"Cool. Get the boat ready, and once I'm halfway to the ship, get to the small clearing and hide." Jade instructed them.
They had nodded and had then followed the instructions given to them.
Devin had given her a small look, commenting, "You and Peter are so suited for each other."
"Ha, yeah. I know." Jade grinned.
Camilla, David and Gold had walked into a bar called, 'The Rabbit Hole', the female had looked at the small sign as she rose her eyebrow slightly.
"How original." Camilla commented, "Not gonna lie, that rabbit is really creepy."
When they had walked in they had noticed how Belle - or Lacey - was talking to someone at the bar. Gold seemed to stiffen slightly at the sight, he had then gave both David and Camilla a small look.
"The pair of you might wanna wait outside." Gold told.
David had put his arm in front of Gold as he spoke, "Yeah, yeah, bad idea."
The man who was speaking to Lacey had then got up and left her alone. Now seeing this as an opportunity, Camilla had said, "Come on, let's go."
As the three of them headed towards the bar, Camilla had felt someone grab hold of her wrist and giving her a small smirk before placing another hand on her leg.
Without hesitation, Camilla had then kneed the man in the face. "Touch me again, and you won't be breathing for another day."
David had gotten involved before the man had a chance to stand, "Hey, settle down the both of you." He had then gave the man a look, "If you touch her again, I won't hesitate, and I'm pretty sure that she wouldn't mind gutting you."
Camilla shrugged slightly, "More like removing that awfully looking face from it's shoulders."
The female had then walked away, heading towards the bar. David had followed after her to then sit down near both Lacey and Gold.
While Gold and Lacey started to speak, Camilla had ordered a soda while David had ordered some beer.
"Thought that you'd want something stronger." David commented.
Camilla shrugged, "As much as I want something stronger, cursed me has come a long way from being an alcoholic. I know that the curse and shit is broken but I still don't want to break how clean I am from the alcohol."
David had given her a small look, "You were an alcoholic? I don't believe that, even cursed you wouldn't have been served."
"I know you won't believe it, but it happened way before you woke up from your coma. I was involved in a group, filled with so many bad people and there were some of which were twenty-one and over, they bought the alcohol. Because of that, I turned into an alcoholic, but it wasn't until Archie found out and tried to help me stop. And eventually I did." Camilla explained.
"Damn. I would never actually see you as an alcoholic, to be honest." David commented.
Camilla shook her head, "No one would. But that's in curse life past, it's over and done with, it's time to focus on more pressing concerns."
Before either one of them could continue their conversation, they had heard Lacey say, "What the bloody hell is that? Let's get some Panama going in here. You, uh, like Van Helen? You're a Hagar man, aren't you? Huh?"
Camilla gave him a look as she then turned towards David saying, "And this is a complete train wreak."
David shook his head as he asked in a lowered voice towards Gold, "What are you doing?"
"We have nothing in common." Gold responded.
"That doesn't matter. You just need a way in." David told.
It was then that Camilla had a grand idea as she then spoke, "Oh! Ask her out on a date. Go on, do it!"
Slowly, Gold had made his way over towards Lacey, who was stood in front of the jukebox. Camilla had turned around towards the two so she could watch what would happen despite not being able to hear. David had joined Camilla in watching as to what might happen.
After a few moments, Lacey had walked away with a small smile written across her face. Both Camilla and David had used that as a way to then go to Gold. David had placed ten dollars on the counter for their drinks before they made their way.
As they walked towards Gold, David commented, "Not bad, Don Juan."
"Don Juan was nothing before he made his deal with me." Gold shot back.
"Of course." Camilla muttered while David spoke, "Regardless, you got her to go out with you. Congrats."
"Indeed. Now I just need her to fall in love with me." Gold said.
The three of them proceeded to walk out of the bar. As they walked out, Camilla had kept her head down slightly as she tried to rid of the voice in her head. The voice of her Enchanted Forest self.
Jade had managed to get onto the Jolly Roger without being noticed, she hid behind multiple barrels which were in a bundle, against the side of the ship. A small smirk appeared on Jade's face when she noticed that something was in Hook's hand. Within Hook's hand was a necklace or something similar, to which Jade had assumed that it was valuable to him.
The female tried to stay as hidden as possible so that she wouldn't be seen by any of the crew members. Though that she knew that they wouldn't hurt her, she still didn't want to be seen, she wanted this little plan of hers to work.
"Captain," Smee began as he neared Hook, "We've spotted one boat beside the Jolly Roger, none of the crew has said that they done it. So, I think-"
Hook cut Smee off saying, "-Lost Boys. We have a deal with Pan, he and his boys won't pester us and we don't pester any of them."
"But, captain," Smee began, "What about the girl - or should I say Queen of this goddamn island?"
"I don't know Smee. Pan and her have different views, she's annoying while he's a demon." Hook told.
"They're both demons if you ask me." Smee commented.
Jade hid in her place shocked slightly, yet her being the snappy bitch she was, stood up from where she hid, yelling, "I'm not annoying. Demon I might be, but I'm not that bad. Show some respect to the motherfucking queen, asshole."
At the sight of her some of the crew members had instantly grabbed their weapons and pointed them towards her. Jade rose her brow as she gave them all a look.
"Put the weapons down, we don't want any casualties." Jade spoke as she rose her hands slightly.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Hook asked, "We have an arrangement with Pan."
"With Pan, yes." Jade nodded, she then tilted her head slightly, "But I didn't agree with anything. Plus, there's only one reason as to why you're in that arrangement with Peter, and I know the reason." She had said the last bit of the sentence in a singy-song voice.
Hook seemed to stiffen slightly as he gave Jade a look, "That didn't answer why you're here."
Jade shrugged, "Because, why the hell not? Am I not allowed to be here? Technically, the arrangement was that both sides of the party would respectfully leave each other alone, unless one of the said parties feels as if the other party is hiding something of which Pan needs."
Hook and Smee both shared a small look with each other, feeling as if they didn't have anything that Pan needed.
Smee then spoke up, asking, "And - uh, your highness, what exactly did Pan say that we had?"
Jade scrunched up her face slightly at the name, "Don't call me that." She then let out a small sigh as she then got a dagger from her side, hiding it in her hand, "As for what Peter said, well, he actually didn't say anything, he knows that I'm here and he knows what kind of mood I'm in."
The female then had a massive grin written across her face as she then threw her dagger towards Hook's hand. He had dropped whatever was in the hand and at that moment, Jade had run towards the fallen object, shoving both Hook and Smee out of the way, to then pick up the object and run to the other side of the ship to proceed to jump over the edge.
Jade had splashed into the ongoing ocean, taking in a lot of water as she went down. Though as she went back up - so that her head was above water - she started to swim towards the boat she came in. She had kinda struggled to get into the boat, though she managed just about. Once safely on-board the smaller boat, she looked up to see how Hook was standing over the railing with a quite pissed off expression written across his face.
"Haha, bitch! Come and get your necklace thing now!" Jade called out as she began to row the boat towards the shore.
***
It took her fifteen minutes to get back to the shore, and Jade could quite as easily see that Hook and his crew were not that long behind her. A grin had grown on her face as she stood their for a moment. She wanted to make sure that Hook could see the direction of which she went so that this little game could work.
She wasn't waiting for them for long, she noticed how their boats were just getting to the shore and how Hook seemed to instantly jump out of it, heading straight towards Jade.
"Jade, give it back!" Hook yelled, loud enough for her to hear.
"Oh come on Hook, what's so important about this little thing?" Jade asked as she revealed the silly little necklace.
Hook shook his head slightly, "It's just important to me. You should know the value of importance with little things, like the bracelet you wear."
Jade shrugged, "Oh I know, I'm just waiting for you to come and get it."
The pirate had then let out a small sigh of relief as he then walked towards Jade. Once he was close enough, he had went to snatch the necklace off of Jade but she had simply pulled it away before he could. A grin had formed on Jade's lips as Hook simply gave her a glare.
"Jade, just give it back." Hook spoke.
"Nope." Jade instantly said as she then turned around and ran. The one-handed male had let out an annoyed groan as he then chanced after Jade with some of his crew members coming after him.
Jade tried to keep her distance from Hook as she lead them towards the field of which she had that welcome party for her all those years ago. God, that feels like a lifetime ago. She had made sure that she kept hold of the one thing Hook desired to have as her strides were large.
She looked back to see how Hook and his crew were at a distance while they followed. A grin formed on her face as she knew that they were close to the field. Just a little bit longer and then they'll all be there.
Moments passed and at last Jade had reached the field. At an instant, Jade had dropped the necklace in the middle of it, as she then ran towards a tree and climbed up it. Once up the tree, she noticed how there were already two - maybe three - Lost Boys sitting on different branches of the tree.
Jade had put up her thumb as she grinned. Her little plan was working, and oh how she enjoys shit more if it's going according to plan.
Not long after Jade had climbed up the tree, Hook and a few of his crew members had came running into the field. They all seemed to let out a small pant as they scanned the area. They could have sworn that Jade was just in front of them.
Hook had took a few steps forward before he then noticed how carelessly his necklace was dumped onto the ground. He picked it up as he looked around, there was something off with all of this, he knew that for sure.
"Keep your eyes open," Killian spoke as he gave his fellow companions a small look.
They all nodded in agreement as they began to look around, seeing if they could find out where Jade could have gone.
While sat in the tree, Jade had made an owl noise with her hands, which was a small signal for some of the Lost Boys to use their slingshots to hit the pirates with small rocks and anything they could find.
Each one of which got hit had let out a small pained gasp as they then looked around to see where it was coming from. The pain soon ceased which had only grew the suspicions of the pirates as to what the hell was going on.
"Come out you little devil!" Killian yelled.
Jade had let out a small dramatic gasp, "And ruin the fun? I think the hell not."
"You had your fun with this, why don't you show yourself so we can have a civilised chat?" Hook asked as he looked around.
"Sorry, I don't do civilised shit unless it's on my terms." Jade spoke, "And honestly, I'm enjoying this far too much."
A grin formed on her face as she then let out a yell, "Come on boys! Let's play!"
At that moment the Lost Boys had then came out of their hiding places and had crowded round the pirates who seemed to point their weapons towards the boys. The ones who were in the trees, jumped down and joined. As for Jade she had jumped down and leaned against the tree.
"Jade, we have an arrangement!" Hook yelled.
"I know, Hook. We don't invade you unless needed to, you don't invade us unless needed to. Yet that doesn't stop annoying the hell out of you." Jade spoke with a grin.
Suddenly Hook and his crew disappeared in a cloud of smoke as a voice spoke, "Yes it does."
Jade let out a groan, "Pete, seriously? You ruined my fun."
"Sorry, babe, but I want to keep the arrangement with Hook." Peter responded as he walked over towards Jade, planting a small kiss on Jade's head.
Jade crossed her arms as she gave him a look. As much as she hated to admit, she could never be pissed off at Peter considering the small things he does to make things better.
"I hate you." Jade said as she gave him a look.
"No you don't." Peter responded, smiling at her.
Jade scrunched up her face slightly, "No I don't."
"By the way, I'm stealing that line." Peter spoke, grinning at her.
Jade had given him a small look, "What?"
"The line before the boys came out, I'm stealing it." Peter briefly explained. He then called out, "Fun time is over, let's get back to camp."
"Boo." One of the Lost Boy's called out.
"Whoever said that, I agree!" Jade said.
They all then proceeded to make their way back towards the camp. Jade had given one of the Lost Boys a piggyback as the Stiltskin child and Pan walked hand-in-hand with each other. The smaller boy who Jade was giving a piggyback to had rested his chin against the top of Jade's head.
Both Peter and Jade shared a small look with each other as Peter then squeezed Jade's hand slightly.
"Forever and always?" Peter asked as he smiled at her.
"Forever and always."
Camilla was sat on the couch in Mary Margret's apartment as she stared at the wall. Well, she wasn't exactly sitting like how a normal person would, she had her leg's dangled over the top of the couch while her back was on where you'd sit.
She wasn't sure how long she was sat there for until she heard a knock on the door. Camilla had refused to get up, due to the fact that she was actually quite comfy where she was.
Emma had gotten the door seeing as Camilla hadn't moved an inch. When the blonde opened the door, the first thing of which she saw was how Henry was over Neal's shoulder - completely asleep.
"What, did you tranquilize him?" Emma asked, instantly.
Neal had then proceeded to walk through the door, saying, "I just gave him a couple of Bourbons. Kid's a real lightweight."
Camilla had noticed how Neal was coming in her direction so she thought that it might be best to move so that he could put Henry down.
"Sounds like you guys had a full day." Emma commented.
"Spent most of it in the park." Neal stated. "He's getting pretty good with those wooden swords. I guess that makes sense considering where his family's from. And by the fact that he's been around Jade."
Camilla had walked towards the kitchen, getting out a monster from the fridge. She observed how Neal seemed to be with Henry - despite the small boy being asleep - and honestly, despite what she thought, she actually wouldn't mind having a kid. Yes, some could argue saying how the Lost Boys are her adoptive kids but she wouldn't actually mind having a child of her own.
Honestly, Camilla would actually like to teach her kid to fight at the right age. However, she'd be afraid of if the child came out like her - a murder, which is why she refused the idea of ever having children with the fear that the child would not only become another version of her but if the child never loved her.
Neal had noticed the look on Emma's face as he then asked, "What?"
"You ever thought about going back?" Emma asked as the two then walked towards the table which sat in the middle of the room.
"Back where?" Neal retorted, confused as to what she meant.
It was then that Camilla spoke up, responding with, "Back home."
"Where we're from." Emma added.
Neal looked at her, slightly hesitant with his response before he then said, "I, uh, I spent most of my life trying to forget that place. I didn't exactly have a fairy-tale childhood. You know what I mean."
"Neither of us did, Neal." Camilla spoke, shaking her head slightly.
"Why did you ask?" Neal asked as he gave the pair of them a look.
"No reason." Emma responded as she then leaned forward slightly.
Neal then changed the subject as he then said, "August came by the park today. He and Henry seemed to really hit it off."
Camilla gave him a small look before she then realised that August was no longer an adult, but was a child.
Emma seemed to think the same thing as she said, "That is gonna take a while to get used to."
"You know, I gotta say, he's actually a lot cooler as a kid. Steals less of my money." Neal spoke. That actually put a small smile on Camilla's face.
"He'd be a lot cooler if he could remember what he was trying to warn us about before he got-" Emma spoke, not able to form another word due to not knowing what to say.
"Rebooted?" Neal asked.
Camilla stood there for a moment. If she had gotten the chance to start over again from a child, she wondered what the hell she'd do different. However no matter how hard she thought, she knew that most of her actions had lead her to where she was today. Though, the one thing of which she would try and change would be putting up more of a fight against Rumple.
"'Storybrooke isn't safe'? Isn't safe from who?" Emma asked. With that, Camilla had tried to think of as many people who would then try and make Storybrooke unsafe. She knew for a fact it wasn't her - for obvious reasons. She just ended up shaking her head slightly, not really bothered that much.
"Well, he always had a knack for being cryptic." Neal spoke. "Don't worry about it. You'll figure it out. If there's one thing I know about you, you don't stop till you find what you're looking for."
Camilla just gave Neal a small look before shaking her head slightly. Just by standing there, observing, if there was one thing of which Camilla knew, it was the fact that she really missed Peter. She missed everything about him. She even missed Neverland, and her boys - her little lost boys.
If Camilla could even talk to Peter right now, she's not even sure what she'd say to him let alone what she'd do. She knew that there's hundreds of things she'd do but when the time came, she'd be hesitant to do so.
