Chapter Fifty Five-The New Neverland

Chapter Fifty Five-The New Neverland

↬↬↬

I only own Jade/Camilla and my ideas.

Throughout their entire flight back to Storybrooke, Camilla and the Lost Boys had kept themselves entertained by doing little sword fights, Camilla had commented on their weakness and helped them improve, though once they got bored of that, it ended up being that the Lost Boys would ask questions about Storybrooke and what it was like. Of course, Camilla tried her best to answer all of them, though most of her responses had been from before the curse was broken, the only time when Storybrooke felt like home, Regina tried to help with some of the questions as well, feeling as if it would be best.

Though, Hook had quickly cut that conversation to an end when their loving town was just below them. Camilla had told the Lost Boys to hold on tight to something or to go below deck if it made them feel better. The Jolly Roger broke through the protective barrier which covered the town. Camilla had rushed to hold on tight to a rope.

"You better land this ship good, because I'd hate to bully you in the afterlife," Camilla warned out to Hook.

"I have it under control! I am the captain!" Hook shot back.

Camilla rolled her eyes slightly, her grip on the rope somewhat grew tighter. Yet the one thing which she didn't expect to see was the way that Henry – well, Peter – to come walking over to her. She thought that Henry would be with either Regina or Emma, or maybe even below deck.

"Henry, what are you doing here?" Camilla asked over the wind.

Peter looked up towards her. "I wanted to be with you."

Before Camilla could say something in response, the Jolly Roger jerked slightly, causing Peter to fall slightly. Camilla instantly wrapped her arm around the small boy who in turn done the same. Yet as soon as Peter wrapped his arms around Camilla the Jolly Roger crashed into the sea at Storybrooke's harbour.

Camilla's body jerked with the impact and let out a small hiss of pain. The rope on her arm had tugged tightly while wrapped around her arm upon the impact, it stung like a bitch, yet she tried to hide it for Henry's sake. Though the one thing which Camilla hadn't seemed to notice was the slight smile that hid itself on Henry's face.

Camilla waited a moment before moving, just to make sure that there wasn't a sudden jerk in the ship which would cause her to fall. When the ship didn't move, like how she thought it might, she gently tapped Henry's shoulder, as a way to say that it's okay to let go.

"Henry, I've gotta go and get the Lost Boys that are below deck, okay?" Camilla said.

Peter – as Henry – nodded. "Okay, can I help?"

She shook her head. "No, I've got it. Plus, it would be good for everyone in town to see that we completed the mission of getting you home." She sent him a weak smile. She then ruffled his hair before leaving the boy.

****

The platform to get off the Jolly Roger had dropped, and Henry had been the first one to cross back onto land. The people of Storybrooke had cheered and applauded upon their arrival back, now knowing that the mission had been a success, that they got Henry back. Emma had followed Henry off the ship, smiling at the cheers – and Leroy yelling the fact that they were back.

Mary Margret and David followed swiftly after Emma, a smile on both of their faces. Yet as soon as Camilla – and Devin – had come walking off the Jolly Roger, there had been a shocked gasp as to seeing Camilla alive and looking healthy. Camilla ended up looking down towards the floor, not really wanting to look at the reactions of the people who still don't trust her. Devin had placed a hand on her shoulder as a way to comfort her.

However, what surprised her was the way that Ruby had hugged her instantly as soon as she was on the docks. She was taken by surprise the fact that someone had hugged her. Let alone Ruby being the one to hug her, she honestly thought that Ruby didn't like her much especially after the curse broke.

"You're alive!" Ruby wept. "You're not stone, you're alive!"

Camilla let out a small laugh, noticing the confused look written on Devin's face. "Yeah, you can thank Peter for that, and then cuss him out for almost killing Henry."

Ruby pulled away from Camilla, wiping her eyes from the tears which fell. "He tried to kill Henry after breaking the curse?"

"It's a long story," Camilla sighed, shaking her head slightly. She then noticed the way that Ruby looked at Devin – who hadn't left her side. "This is Devin, he's from Neverland and he's my son." She then smiled. "I'm going to adopt him."

Ruby smiled at him, holding out her hand. "I'm Ruby – over there, I'm Red. I'm glad that Camilla has you."

Devin shook her hand, returning the smile. "Nice to meet you," he mumbled.

Camilla looked over to see how Granny was hugging Henry – who seemed almost uncomfortable that he was getting hugged. Yet even so, there was a part of Camilla that was happy that they were back, happy that they managed to get Henry back.

She then looked around to see how everyone who had been on the Jolly Roger be welcomed back by the dwarfs, Granny, and such. However, what caught her eye was how Regina was standing there watching everyone be greeted. A part of Camilla felt bad for the woman who lost a lot yet never got anything back.

Camilla excused herself from both Ruby and Devin – the boy looking at her with a look which suggested that he didn't want to be left alone with someone he doesn't know. But Cam just gave him a harsh look before making her way over towards Regna.

She'd managed to catch Emma ask Henry, "how does it feel to finally be home?"

"Better than I ever imagined." Henry had responded.

Camilla stood beside Regina giving her a small smile and nudge. "We wouldn't be home if it wasn't for you."

Regina had given her a small look almost as if she hadn't expected Camilla to even say something like that to her. Yet even still Regina had given Camilla a small smile. She was silent for a moment, though after a moment she said, "Glad to have you back, Camilla."

Camilla looked at Regina confused for a moment. "What's that meant to mean?"

"With Pan's spell before Pan got Henry's heart and such." Regina told before she then swallowed. "And I'm sorry, for ripping out your son's heart but I just wanted Henry to know that we were coming. I should've trusted you."

Camilla then shifted to stand facing Regina. "No, it's okay. I should be apologising to you; I didn't look after Henry enough. If it weren't for me then we would have come home earlier. Being on that island just gave me an excuse to not care anymore, to let my anger out towards everything that bothered me for the past thirty-eight years. I should've controlled myself more and if I did then Henry wouldn't have given his heart."

"Hey," Regina said almost snappy. She turned to face Camilla. "I might have not liked some of your actions on that island, but they're understandable, you acted the way that you did, and I understand. You don't have to explain yourself to me."

Camilla had stayed silent then, a smile found its way onto her lips. Though she tried to shake it off. "But even still, I put your son at risk, hell because of me he would have died because of my actions and 'cause I chose the people which I love rather than the one that I should've protected from someone who manipulated me with magic–" she had to cut herself off feeling the way that her anger started to get to her.

Regina had given her a look before giving Camilla something she hasn't felt in a while – a hug from a mother. Regina had rubbed Camilla's back in comfort, hoping to comfort the angry Hopper child. "You might have done some questionable things, but Henry is safe now and that's the main thing."

It was Camilla who had pulled away from the hug first, nodding slightly. She looked towards the ground as Regina's hand stayed on Camilla's shoulder. Camilla just managed to hear someone ask who the Lost Boys were as the came down the ramp. Baz had taken notice of Camilla as he then came running over at an instant Camilla picked him up, though the smaller boy had decided to sit on her back, wrapping his arms around Camilla's neck.

". . .And we owe a lot of it to her," Mary Margret loudly said looking towards Regina. Camilla had taken a few steps away from her just so that Regina could get the recognition that she deserves. "Regina helped save us all."

Regina had looked around almost awkwardly, not really knowing what to do with herself now that everyone had been looking at her. Regina ended up looking over towards Camilla as Camilla give her a small nod and smile. Regina needed this attention, to show that she's not what people think about her.

After a few moments of everyone talking, everyone had agreed to go back to Granny's to where they'd start a welcome home party for those who've returned. When everyone started to make their own slow way to Granny's, David, Gold, Belle, Emma, and Camilla – who still had Baz on her back – had been crowded in a small circle, looking up at the black sail.

"So, what about that shadow?" David asked.

Don't worry," Gold said, "it's trapped. Just as it was in the candle. And the only person that can free it is safely in here." Gold had then shaken the box slightly.

Camilla's jaw set just as Baz dropped down from Camilla's back with a small thud. Both she and Baz had walked off towards where Devin and Hook had been talking.

Emma let out a small puff. "She's going to be sensitive about this for a while, isn't she? We might have to be careful about our words."

"Well, she did loose Pan for the second time – unwillingly once again." David stated. "She's heartbroken, clearly, but won't speak to us about it."

They'd watched as Baz and Devin play fought with one another and how Camilla managed to steal Hook's flask of rum. Hook had tried to get it back from her but failed just as she took a swig of it, though the look on Hook's face was something which Camilla seemed to find amusing.

"Do you think she'll ever speak about it?" Emma asked.

"More than likely to someone like one of those two boys," Gold spoke. "Yet I highly doubt it."

The group then fell silent, they all knew Camilla in some respects whether it's in a positive way or negative, they still knew her. And if they knew anything, it was the fact that they knew that Camilla wouldn't come to anyone within this town about how she felt towards losing Peter though they just hoped that she'd talk to Devin or even Baz – though they highly doubted that they'd talk to Baz about it, he seemed younger than Henry.

Camilla – after stealing Hook's rum – had looked around and had noticed the way that Henry had been standing beside Felix which had been quite near the ship.

Camilla had slightly tilted her head, from what she was aware, Henry hadn't really befriended Felix during his time on Neverland – actually, Camilla was sure that Henry didn't speak to any of the Lost Boys besides Peter and Devin who had only ever spoke to him first. It was odd to think that all of a sudden Henry was talking to Peter's second-hand man.

"Hey, mom! Dad! What about Felix?" Henry called out. "He's still free!"

Felix then whispered something to Henry as Henry then whispered his response. Camilla had narrowed her eyes towards the boy, a little confused as to what was going on. There was something going on with Henry and it was confusing the hell out of Camilla trying to think about what could have happened to him.

The group (David, Emma, Regina, Camilla, Devin, Baz, Hook, and the others) had all walked towards the pair. Camilla had given Felix a small look as Felix glared at both Baz and Devin, yet there was something else which seemed to play within his eyes, like there was something he was trying to hide.

"Henry's right." Regina agreed. "We cant just let Felix walk away freely."

"Oh, don't worry, we've got plenty of cell space for this guy." David stated.

Camilla had given a look towards the whole group. She was slightly confused as to why Felix was being shoved into a cell. She understood that Felix had aided in Peter getting Henry's heart but so was the rest of the Lost Boys and even her – if the others wouldn't admit it then she would even if she didn't know exactly what the plan was as a whole.

She wanted to mention something about as to why Felix was going to get shoved into a prison but at the same time she didn't. As much as she didn't want Felix shoved in a cell, she felt as if she couldn't fight against the large group which now surrounded them. She probably could fight them, but yet she had three other people to worry about – Felix, Baz, and Devin.

David had walked off with Felix, yet just as the pair walked past Camilla, he simply grabbed her wrist. Regina had almost jerked forward almost to defend Camilla, as did David, but Camilla had given the pair a look which the two backed off from.

Felix leaned into her ear. "Pan finds a way; he'll be back for you."

With that, David had dragged Felix off, leaving Camilla even more confused as a whole as to what the hell was going on. She watched as both David and Felix walked off before looking towards the others.

When David had gone off to shove Felix in a cell, the rest had made their way to Gold's Shop. Baz hadn't left Camilla's side since leaving the Jolly Roger, so she'd taken it upon herself to keep an eye on him for as long as possible. She'd notice the dark looks which Devin would give Gold at all times, which ended up with Camilla nudging him slightly to distract the boy. She didn't blame him for the looks, but it put her on edge a lot at what he might do, though she knew her father couldn't be killed unless with his dagger.

By the time that they got to Gold's shop, Baz had been on Devin's back who – for once – had a smile on his face. It made Camilla smile wide though she tried to hide it when they all walked through the door of the older man's shop.

They'd walked into the back of the shop where Gold had opened up one of the floorboards with his magic, Pandora's box in hand. Camilla couldn't help but watch. "Once I seal the box in here, no one can break the spell but me." Gold's hand then went over the hole made, closing it back up.

"Aren't you going to do that?" Henry asked.

"Believe me, I want Pan trapped just as much as you," Gold said. Devin had stepped forward at that, which lead to Camilla grabbing his arm and pulling him back.

"Don't worry, Henry." Emma spoke. Neal continued, "He's not getting out of there."

"We won't let anything happen to you again. I promise," Regina told.

Gold then stood up. "She's right. You needn't worry. As long as I'm alive, that boy will never see the light of day."

Camilla's jaw set as she then walked out of the shop. As much as she knew what it would mean if they released Pan, it still angered her that after so long of being apart and how little time they had together, that yet again they were split up and this time they couldn't be reunited no matter how much she wished. She knew Gold wouldn't release Pan no matter what, not even for her – he wouldn't cate for what she asks, he never has and never will.

Devin and Baz had followed Camilla out the shop, both seemed distressed a little but even still, they tried to hide it. Camilla had taken in a small breath before looking towards the pair, she'd taken a look at their clothes, as mush as this seemed so usual for her to see, she realised that they both needed clothes if they were going to stay here. She then looked down at what she wore, remembering that she too wore clothes similar to the two boys in front of her, she then cussed to herself under her breath, remembering that her card was at Mary Margret's apartment.

"Jade," Baz said. "What are we going to do without Peter? I want Peter back."

Camilla sighed; she had a feeling that she would be answering something like this. "I want him back too, but sometimes we've gotta live with something we don't like. But we have each other, and I know it's not much, but this is only temporary. Maybe we could get Peter back, but with how everything is at the moment, it might be a while before we get to see Peter again."

Baz crossed his arms. "I don't want to leave Pan behind. He's family. He's the only family we've had in years. I don't want to leave him in a box."

Camilla knelt down in front of Baz. "I know you don't, and I don't want to leave him in that box either, but it's safer for everyone else. I know that he's the only family that you've had – that we've had – but sometimes having a small break from the ones we love, can help us in ways we didn't know."

"How would being away from Pan help you?" Devin asked, tilting his head.

"It'll give me time to think over the stuff that's happened since I arrived back on the island. Things like my behaviour and stuff that Pan done while I was there," Camilla responded. "I know that this situation as a whole might be confusing and frustrating, trust me I've got enough rage in me to fight this entire town single-handedly, but we'll get through it. Together."

Baz and Devin had given her a look, both hesitant as to what to say or what to do. Camilla hadn't blamed them, they had their entire lives shifted once more, the person that they looked up to was trapped within a box and the other seemed to be trying to hide how she felt. She wanted these boys to have the life which they deserve and what they've all probably longed for, for years without her knowing. She wanted to give them a chance to live with a family who cared about them and wasn't someone like Pan or her. Not that she didn't care for them, but a family who could treat them all in a healthier way.

Camilla then let out a small sigh. "Come, we're going to go shopping. We all need new clothes. Though I might need to try and find Regina to magic my phone and card."

Baz turned to Devin; his voice low. "What's shopping and phone?" Devin shrugged.

****

Camilla had managed to buy clothes for both Devin and Baz, and if she had to be honest, it was funny to see their expressions to the amount of clothes that they had the option of. Though it made her think just how depriving resources were when living in the Enchanted Forest as well as on Neverland. She was just happy that her boys had clothes which they chose out – though it took her a while to convince them that it would be a lot comfier for them to wear these kinds of clothes.

In the end, both boys settled for a pair of jeans, shirts, jumpers, and a pair of shoes each. Camilla just ended up with another pair of black skinny jeans, a red flannel, and a pair of Converse. When they were all sorted, they made their way towards Granny's Diner, where Camilla knew that most of the townsfolk would be.

Of course, Camilla was correct. Both Devin and Baz had been nervous at the fact that they were just about to go into a place where most of the people were celebrating the return of Henry. The pair somewhat worried that maybe Emma and the others would tell everyone that the Lost Boys had a part in both keeping the adults away and actually helping them.

"Hey, it'll be okay, you've got me," Camilla spoke. Devin ended up reaching for Camilla's wrist – he never held her hand which Camilla understood even if she didn't know the reason – and Baz grabbed hold of Cam's hand willingly.

Devin had been the one to push open the door and slightly jumped when he heard the way that the bell rung. Camilla assured him that it was okay, that there was nothing for him to worry about. The three were greeted with the cheers of the dwarfs, the smell of food, and the chatter of various people. Camilla noticed the way that Emma had been talking to Granny with Henry's story book in her arms.

"What's that smell?" Baz asked, slightly pulling at Camilla's arm.

Camilla looked towards Baz. "Food. It's like Food back over in Neverland, but different, here you can cook it, make it into something completely different. Like pig, you have bacon and such."

Devin then nudged towards the dwarfs who all had beer in their hands. "What's in those?"

"Drink, specifically alcohol, not suitable for you. Either of you." Camilla responded. "And before either of you say that you're technically older than me, I swear to my last remaining spec of sanity that you're not having anything which will make you regret your actions."

Both Devin and Baz then gave each other a look before shrugging. Baz then spoke, "Henry's there,"

Camilla followed where Baz had pointed to see the way that Henry was sat alone in a booth. "Give me a minute." She pulled out some cash – before getting clothes, they'd gone back to Mary Margret's apartment to grab some of her stuff, money included – and passed it to Devin. "You're familiar to money back before you were taken, correct?" Devin nodded. "This is the same, go to the counter, and order something to eat and drink for the both of you, there's menus there so you can have a look as to what you want, okay? You can have whatever you want, but make sure you use this to pay."

Devin nodded as both him and Baz then went to the counter where they were both greeted by Ruby – who instantly recognised Devin from earlier and proceeded to engage in conversation with both boys. A small smile formed on her face as she watched her two boys talk, it made her feel somewhat proud, she just hoped that wherever their parents are – whether dead or watching from above – are okay with her taking over from their role which they couldn't complete.

Shaking her head, she walked over to where Henry was. She'd sat opposite him, her hands clasped and in front of her as she gave Henry a smile. Peter had given her a smile back, though by the looks of it, she'd made him jump slightly.

"I'm glad that we managed to get you back home, Henry." Camilla said, trying to hide the regret that she felt.

Peter noticed the way she tried to hide how she felt and had placed a hand over her joint ones. "I know that you tried, and it's okay. I'm home."

Before Camilla could have the chance to respond to that, Emma had come over and made Camilla shuffle over just so she could sit. Emma placed Henry's Once Upon a Time book in front of him. Henry stared down at it, almost blankly.

"Well, don't be too excited." Emma said. "Neal still had it in his room. We thought you'd want it. Especially since you've lived a fairy tale of your own."

It was then that Henry seemed to shift slightly, which made Camilla and Emma narrow their eyes towards the small boy. "Right. Thanks," he'd opened the book, flicking the pages.

"Are you okay?" Emma asked.

Peter paused for a moment, staring towards the blonde sat opposite him, his eyes flickered to Camilla slightly, noticing the same look which she'd always give when she was concerned. "Yeah, why?"

Emma was somewhat hesitant to respond to that, though she then looked to Camilla in hopes that she'd help her in some way – which she didn't, all Camilla did was shrug. Peter had looked down towards the book in front of him, on one side was a photo and the other text, the photo had been one of Camilla (or well Jade) in a black cape, meaning that the story he was reading had been when Jade was with Regina.

After a moment Emma left Peter to read the book. Camilla had stayed, resting her head back against the wall and closed her eyes. She could really use a decent sleep in a bed that was comfortable. Sometimes she forgot just what the beds were like back over in both The Enchanted Forest and in Neverland, she just wondered how she managed to sleep like that and not wake up with pains in her body from sleeping on wood.

Ruby ended up bringing her a big glass of soda, which she was grateful for – she forgot just how much she missed the fizz of a drink that wasn't Monster. She'd looked at Henry once again to see how he flicked through the pages of the book, somewhat skim reading through certain points.

After a moment, Neal had come over and had playfully pushed Peter closer to the seat. Peter – acting as if he was Henry – just gave Neal a grin as if he liked the idea of being family. Peter had scooted across just so that Neal could have a seat. Neal had taken that seat, grinning slightly.

Camilla had narrowed her eyes towards her brother, knowing that when he grinned something good had happened. She didn't say anything about it, just because whatever it was, must have been good. Neal had given her a small look and a nod almost to say if she was alright, to which she put her thumbs up.

"Jade, those two Lost Boys," Neal began. She didn't actually mind Neal calling her Jade, now. "What's going to happen to them?"

"They're going to stay with me. I know that we said that we were going to bring all the Lost Boys here and try and find them a home, but I want to keep both Devin and Baz." Camilla responded. "I can't part with either of them, I'm all that they have anymore now that Pan's in the box. They're staying with me; I'm adopting both of them."

"You? Adopting two children and becoming a mother?" Neal asked, raising a brow. Peter had looked up from the book, giving Camilla a look. "I never thought you to actually go through with adopting the Lost Boys. Though, by the looks of it, they need you, the pair of them do. You're already a good mother to them and for them to actually have you as their mother would be great."

Camilla smiled at that. "Thanks. . ."

"I'll leave the pair of you to have your fun," Neal said, referring to the pair. "I've got a few people to catch up with." With that Neal left.

Peter had decided to keep his head stuck in the book, flicking through the pages, he'd been staring at a photo of Charming and Snow just before they went to Medusa's cave for a moment before he then flicked to another page.

It was then that Emma had walked over to the pair – who had been comfortable to sit in silence. "Sorry, kid, it's time for something you didn't have in Neverland. Bedtime."

Peter had closed the book and stood up. He stared at Camilla, expecting her to follow suit, but she didn't, instead she quickly drunk the remaining half of her drink before stretching. He wanted Camilla to come with them, but by the looks of it, she wasn't.

When Henry had moved, Emma placed her hand on his back. "Oh, let's say good night to Regina."

Regina must have heard what Emma had said because she'd turned round as soon as the pair came over. "Good night? I didn't realise it was getting so late." She'd put her hand under Peter's chin. "It's going to be hard to let you out of my sight."

"Maybe you don't have to," Peter said. "Maybe I could stay with you tonight?"

Regina was surprised to hear that idea. "Oh." She then smiled. "Of course."

"Yeah, just call me tomorrow and let me know what time you want me to pick you up." Emma said.

Regina seemed to not be able to control how happy she was as she then put an arm around Peter. "Come on, Henry. Let's go home."

The pair had then left after Regina got her jacket. Camilla had sluggishly moved from where she sat and moved to see how both Devin and Baz were doing. The pair had both been entertained by Granny who'd been listening to what their stories were. Granny – who might have been filled in as to what happened in Neverland – had been listening to multiple small stories of their life in Neverland and what they can remember from before (which isn't much, from what Camilla is aware) and in some ways it made her smile the fact that the pair were talking to someone in this town.

Granny had noticed the way that Camilla had walked up to them and had given her a small smile. "It seems like you filled in the gaps for these boys when they were brought to Neverland."

Camilla nodded. "And I plan to continue filling that gap for as long as I live."

"You took care of all those boys over there?" Granny asked. Camilla nodded. "Maybe you aren't what I thought you were after all. Especially if you can take care of over twenty rowdy boys."

"I did try my best." Camilla said. After a small moment, Camilla then said; "I've got to get these two home, they need sleep in a comfy bed."

"I have a spare room if you'd like to rent it out, I've got a room big enough for the three of you." Granny suggested.

"You sure that's okay?" Camilla asked.

Granny nodded. "Of course."

"Thank you so much!"

****

By the time morning came, Camilla had struggled to get both boys out of bed – both asking for an extra five minutes before nuzzling more under the covers. Camilla allowed it, though had given both a lot longer than five minutes, more like under an hour – it gave her time to quickly go and buy them both more clothes. She just wanted to make sure that the pair had enough clothes which weren't like the ones from Neverland.

When she got back, that was when she dragged the pair from their beds. Both weren't pleased about it, but she told them that she gave them longer than what they agreed upon. She'd given them the bags of clothes which she bought them, allowing them to change in private. She also instructed them both to clean their teeth, something which they weren't familiar with. Afterwards the three made their way down into the Diner, where they'd grab something to eat.

Both Mary Margret and David were already eating, the pair gave Camilla a small nod and a smile before turning to talk to one another. The three had gone to another booth, to which they ordered something light, both Devin and Baz told her that they weren't that hungry, which she respected – she wasn't going to force them to eat a lot if they weren't that hungry. They'd chosen their food before Camilla had the chance to do so herself, which made Camilla smile a little.

They'd ordered and once the food came, they ate what they could. The three talking to each other about small things like how their sleep was and how they were feeling. Other than that, there wasn't much to talk about, it felt as if after the events the day before, there wasn't really much to talk about. Yes okay, they could talk about how they felt about it, but they all just wanted to avoid it as much as possible. They all missed Peter, they all wanted Peter there with them, but they knew that they couldn't have what they wanted, they just had to deal with the fact that Pan wouldn't be coming out of the box any time soon.

Just as they finished their meal, they heard a scream. Camilla shot up from her seat, both boys followed suit, Camilla handed both of them one of her daggers, knowing that the pair knew how to use a dagger. The three shot out of the Diner, trying to find the source of the scream. Outside was Hook, Tink, Emma, and David, who all seemed to have noticed the sound of the scream.

"What the hell was that?" Emma asked.

"We had the same question." Hook responded.

"Someone's either in trouble or dying." Camilla stated. "And whoever it is, I didn't kill them."

David then took a double glance at both Devin and Baz. "Why do they have daggers?"

"To protect themselves." Camilla stated. "Why does it matter?"

It was then that Emma had asked. "Wait, were you two. . ." It then took Camilla a moment to realise that Emma was referring to both Tink and Hook.

"No!" Tink said just as Hook responded with; "Perhaps."

It was then that there was another scream. Both Devin and Baz shot off quicker than what Camilla could anticipate. "Follow the boys," was what Camilla said before the group then followed.

They ran till they found Blue laying on the floor which made Camilla think she was sleeping – but she knew she wasn't. Devin was beside Blue when the rest caught up, checking to see if she was still alive, but as soon as he noticed the others, he shook his head as a way to say that she was gone.

"No," David kept repeating it over and over as he re-checked for Blue's pulse. "Come on." After a moment, David told them what they already knew. "She's gone."

"Why would the Shadow kill her?" Tink asked, looking back at the others.

"No idea, luv." Hook said. "But I do know the Shadow only takes orders from one person."

"Peter," Devin, Camilla, and Baz said together.

The group then looked towards the three close with Peter, like they thought that somehow they'd managed to get Pan out of the box. Camilla had given them all a look which made them turn their heads. David and Emma had contacted Regina, Mary Margret ,and Neal to tell them what had happened and for them to make their way to them.

It took both Mary Margret and Neal roughly fifteen minutes to get there and within those fifteen minutes, it ended up in a heated discussion between Camilla, Devin, and Baz against the others who all thought that they had part in Peter's release. Though by the time that Mary Margret got there, they were covering up Blue's body with a blanket.

Not long after they covered the body, Regina and Henry arrived. "What the hell happened?"

"The Shadow, it killed her." David responded.

Regina looked at David slightly confused. "Pan's Shadow? I trapped it on the sail."

"Yeah, well, it got free." Emma responded.

Regina then gave Baz, Devin, and Camilla a look like they had any part in this before looking away.

"Hook, let's go back to the ship and get the candle." Neal suggested. Hook nodded. "If it strikes again, we need to be able to capture it."

Both Neal and Hook then walked off with Tink following them. Emma had stood up from her crouched position.

"Pan's behind this. I know it." Emma said. "And we know that these three have nothing to do with it."

"Well, he's trapped in a box under the floor of Gold's shop." Regina stated.

"Who else would be doing this?" Emma asked.

"Peter Pan never fails." Baz said, cutting into whatever else would have been said.

The group – aside from Henry, Camilla, and Devin – had looked at each other in slight confusion.

"What?" Mary Margret asked.

"Pan always has a plan, even when you think you've won." Camilla told. "He's always ten steps ahead, always thinking of ways to get out of stuff." Peter seemed to almost smirk at that though tried to hide it.

Devin continued. "Whenever we got in a situation when we – the Lost Boys – thought we lost, Pan always found a way for our plan to succeed even when the odds were impossible."

"What are you trying to say?" David asked.

"That somehow Peter isn't exactly where we think he is, even if we think he's trapped in a box." Camilla responded.

Henry had taken a few steps forward. "So, Pan can still hurt me?"

"We don't know that," Regina said.

"But we have to assume he's still a threat," Mary Margret continued. "Especially with what they said. They know Pan better than anyone else, and if they're saying that Pan found a way, then we have to assume it."

"Also, that he's after Henry," Emma added.

Peter – in Henry's body – seemed to fidget slightly. "Then what am I doing here?"

"He's right." David said. "He's not safe out in the open."

Peter then turned to Regina. "You'll protect me, right?"

"Well, yes, of course." Regina said as she then wrapped her arms around Henry.

Camilla then noticed the way that Emma looked at that. Camilla could tell that something was going on with Henry that didn't add up and that Emma probably noticed it as well.

"Go." Emma said. "We'll take care of the Shadow." Both Henry and Regina then walked off though Emma stopped them. "Regina, wait."

"What?" Regina asked.

"Keep a close eye on him," Emma whispered.

"I already said I would," Regina responded almost confused as to why Emma would ask her again.

"I know. He just doesn't seem quite himself." Emma said.

"Really?" Regina questioned. "You mean, because he asked for me?"

"No, I didn't . . . I didn't mean that." Emma said.

"That's exactly what you meant."  Regina snapped.

Camilla had then turned to Baz, the small boy looked as if he was in a world of his own. "Baz, I need you to follow Henry and Regina. Secretly though, keep your distance and," she then tapped the dagger which still laid in his hand, "use this if you need to, okay?"

Baz nodded, though he then paused and looked at Camilla slightly confused. "Why do you want me to follow them?"

"Because something's off with Henry. And I need someone to watch over him and his actions to get a better understanding as to what's going on."

"I can do that." Baz said, eagerly.

"Promise me that you'll be safe." Camilla spoke.

Baz hugged Camilla. "I promise I will, mom."

Camilla noticed the way that both Regina and Henry walked off, Baz was about to go running after them, but she made him wait a moment before he did. A minute or two passed and it was then that she allowed Baz to follow after them. Mary Margret, Emma, and David had given her a look, wondering as to why Baz had run off after the two.

"What was that?" Mary Margret asked.

"Something's off with Henry," Camilla said. "So, I sent Baz to keep an eye on Henry while he's with Regina just in case something happens. And if something does then we have Baz to tell us. Baz knows how to spy."

"How do we know that he'll be okay?" Emma asked.

"Because he had me as a teacher." Camilla responded. "And anyone who's taught be me is safe. Now, we might as well go to Gold to get his help instead of standing around wondering as to what to do."

"Eh, do we have to see Rumplestiltskin?" Devin complained.

****

Mary Margret, Devin, David, Emma, and Camilla had been running down the streets of Storybrooke in order to get to Gold's shop where they knew he'd be. Both Gold and Belle had been standing outside, Gold locking the door.

"No, I'm afraid we're closed." Gold said, noticing the group. "Whatever crisis you're dealing with, I'm done for the day."

"Rumple. . ." Belle said lowly.

"Pandora's Box. Give it to me." Emma demanded.

What they thought was that they could get questions from Pan. Camilla didn't like the idea, but it was the only one that they had at the present moment.

"And why would I do that?" Gold asked.

"We need to open it." Emma responded.

"And let Pan escape? What, are you crazy?" Gold asked.

"Somehow he's controlling the Shadow from inside the box," Mary Margret told. "Henry's life is in danger."

"And you think letting Pan out will change that?" Gold questioned.

"Not if we give him what he's always wanted besides Henry," Devin said. They looked at him. "Jade. That's what his plan was once he got Henry's heart, but if he's here with her, then what use is the heart?"

"We can stop him, another way, one where he doesn't hurt anyone. Forever." Emma said. Camilla instantly knew what she meant by that. Killing Pan just so that he doesn't get what he wants, her and Henry.

"All due respect, Ms Swan, we barely succeeded in apprehending him the first time." Gold told. "And he had Jade but yet that didn't stop him from wanting Henry's heart. If I've learned one thing, its not to tempt fate."

"I'm not looking to apprehend him," Emma said. "Wouldn't you rather be sure he's gone?"

Gold's eyes slid towards Camilla and Devin before looking back towards Emma. "Well, what do you have in mind?"

They'd managed to get the box and jumped into David's van as they then drove to the town line. Both Devin and Camilla hadn't said anything on the way there, they both had their arms crossed and a sour expression on their face. Though the one thing that she was glad for was that she'd sent Baz off to look after Henry.

Once David's truck and Gold's car pulled up towards the town line, both Devin and Camilla jumped down from the bed of the truck as the others got out of the vehicles. Both Devin and Camilla stared at the town line, Devin taking a step too far forward which made Camilla pull him back.

"There's no magic beyond the town line," Gold explained to Belle. In his hands were his cane and Pandora's Box, he had a shawl round his neck. "If we release Pan outside Storybrooke, he'll be powerless to fight back."

When Gold got a little too close to the town line, Emma stepped in front of him. "Uh-uh. I'm doing this."

"I can cross the line and retain my memories." Gold stated.

"It's not about that. There's no magic over there." Emma said. "All due respect, the real world is my expertise."

"Can your 'real world expertise' expect a punch?" Camilla commented. "Cause that's what you might get once you release Peter. And once again when you cross back from two angry people."

Emma gave Camilla a look before turning round to check her gun and then crossed the line. "I'm gonna deal with Pan on my terms."

"He is my old friend." Gold stated.

"Yeah, and he's my boyfriend." Camilla shot back. "And the Lost Boy's father figure. Do you want a medal for knowing Pan?"

"It's my hunch," Emma said, trying to ignore Camilla. "If I fail, you're more than welcome to pick up the pieces."

"And kill two more people." Devin muttered towards Camilla to which she grinned at.

"Emma, be careful." Mary Margret pleaded.

Emma had then given Gold a look to which he then moved his hand over Pandora's Box. He then placed the box over the town line when the familiar red mist started to come out. When Gold placed the box on the floor, Peter's body then formed. Emma cocked her gun as the others took a step back – the only two who didn't move was both Devin and Camilla.

Peter looked around confused as he breathed heavily. Though it was then that he looked towards though who was over the town line, David seemed overly protective of Mary Margret while both Devin and Camilla waved towards him. He then faced Emma, noticing the gun raised at his head.

"Mom?" Peter asked. Camilla's eyes widened at that.

"What?" Emma asked.

"What are you waiting for?" Gold asked. "Shoot him."

"Don't! Please! I'm Henry." Peter said. It made sense in Camilla's mind. It made sense with how Henry was acting, why there was this feeling in her stomach when Henry left. She couldn't explain it but there was a part of her which felt like she already knew. "Pan, he switched our bodies."

"You expect me to believe that?" Emma asked, her gun still pointed towards him.

"Don't listen to him. This is one of his tricks." Gold said.

"No, it's not!" Henry snapped. He then looked back towards Emma. "He did it right before Mr Gold captured me in the box. I swear!" He then took a step forward.

"Ah!" Emma yelled, putting her hand up. "Don't come any closer."

"Shoot him." Gold demanded.

"Don't!" Camilla snapped.

"Maybe he is telling the truth." Emma said. "Maybe that's why I cant shake this feeling something's off about Henry."

"Emma," Camilla said, making the blonde look at her.

Before she could say anything, Gold cut her off; "Maybe that's what he wants you to believe. If he steps over this line, we're all dead."

"All right, if you are really Henry, prove it." Emma told. "Tell me something only Henry would know."

"I got trapped in the mines. I tried blowing up the well." Henry rambled. "I like hot cocoa with cinnamon."

"This proves nothing." Gold stated.

"He's right, Emma." Mary Margret agreed. "Henry could have told Pan all of this in Neverland."

"He didn't! Henry barely spoke to any of the Lost Boys or Pan when he was there." Camilla told loud enough that she saw the way David somewhat flinched.

"Pan might know facts." Emma said. "But life is made up more than that. There are moments. He can't possibly know all of them. The first time you and I connected, you remember that? Not met but connected."

There was a smile on his face. "Yeah."

"Where was it?"

"At my castle, right after you came to Storybrooke." Henry told.

"And what did you tell me?"

"That I knew why you gave me up." Henry told.

"Why?" Emma asked.

"Because you wanted to give me my best chance." Henry said. Emma put away her gun.

"Henry," Emma whispered.

"Mom."

The pair then shared a hug.

"It is Henry." Emma spoke. When the pair broke up from the hug, Emma turned. "Promise you're not gonna incinerate us when we step over the line."

Gold then somewhat nodded. The pair then made their way over the line, Emma picking up Pandora's Box on the way. When they crossed the line, Henry instantly hugged his grandparents who hugged him back. Emma handed Gold the box.

"I'm sorry I doubted you, Henry." Gold said. "And I'm sorry I put you in this box in the first place."

"It's okay. I would have done the same thing." Henry responded.

Camilla then hugged Henry, despite the fact that it felt weird that Henry was trapped in Peter's body, she just wanted to hug him.

When she pulled away from Henry, Emma and he had walked off. Devin had placed a hand on her shoulder.

"If he's all the way out here, where's Pan?" David asked.

Camilla then looked towards David. "Isn't it obvious? With Regina."

****

They group had made their way towards Regina's vault, where they knew that both Regina and Pan would be considering that's where they knew the pair would be.

"Regina's not answering." Emma said after trying to call her.

"When we find, Pan, remember, he's still in my body." Henry said. "So, if you have to throw a fireball or something, at least avoid the face."

At the vault door was Neal, Tink, Hook, and Baz. The little boy had noticed the group first and had instantly run over towards them, throwing his arms around Camilla. Once they'd noticed Baz's instant disappearance, they turned to see the way that the group was walking over to them.

"Henry? Is that really you?" Neal asked.

"Dad," Henry said, running to hug his father.

"Did you find the Shadow?" David asked the other two.

"Not yet." Tink responded.

Hook then shifted, lifting up the candle. "But we'll be ready for when we do." He then passed the candle to Neal – who had broken up from his hug with Henry.

"It's Pan we should be concerned about now. Why are we still up here?" Gold asked.

"It's locked up tight," Neal said. "And Baz came running to find us to tell us that Pan left without Regina. He was going to try and find where Pan was, but we thought that for his safety he stayed with us."

"Really?" Gold asked as he then waved his hand in front of the door.

"Yeah, well, told you." Neal mumbled.

"Fair enough. This is gonna take some time." Gold said.

Gold then rose his hand once more in hopes to open the door. Emma had walked off with both her parents following her. The three had talked about something which Camilla couldn't be bothered to listen to. Instead, she asked Baz if he was okay – to which he responded that he was.

Though before anything else could be said, the doors opened with a creak.

"Shall we?" Gold asked as he moved to walk inside.

They all followed Gold inside the building to which they then found Regina laying on the floor. Mary Margret was instantly by her side as David looked around to see if he could find Peter. Though by the looks of it he was. The vault was a mess – though Camilla wondered if it always looked like a mess.

"We're clear down here!" Emma called up.

Gold then moved to kneel down beside Regina, placing his hand over the side of Regina's face. A purple mist covered his hand as he preformed a spell for Regina to wake up to which she did.

Regina groaned as she then shifted to sit up. "What happened?"

"It's Henry. Somehow, Pan switched bodies with him." Emma explained.

"And I fell for it." Regina stated.

"We all did," Mary Margret said.

"I wanted to believe what he was saying so badly, I missed all the signs." Regina said, she then stuttered over her words slightly as she stood up. "I just wanted to believe that he still needed me to be his mother."

"I still do," Henry said from behind Emma.

Regina then gasped as Emma moved. "Henry?" Henry walked towards Regina, giving her a hug.

"So, what exactly did Pan come down here to get?" David asked. Camilla and David seemed to notice the way that Gold held is hand over a small box. "What?"

"Please tell me you didn't keep it down here," Gold said, clearly referring to Regina.

Regina nodded slightly. "Where else would I keep it?"

Confused, as they all were, Emma was the one to ask. "What is it? What did Pan take?"

"The curse?" Camilla asked.

Regina nodded. "Why would Pan even want the curse? I already cast it?"

"And I broke it." Emma said.

"Well, that doesn't mean he cant cast it again." Gold stated. "And this time, without your parents' true love woven in, even you would be powerless to break it."

"I don't understand. We're already in this land." David said.

"What exactly would casting the curse in Storybrooke do now?" Mary Margret asked.

Camilla wondered what would happen to her if this curse was cast. She knew that in the previous curse, it still wasn't fully on her even when living under it for so long but knowing that Pan would be the one to cast it would mean something else completely. Especially considering what he would have planned for everyone else.

Gold shrugged, clearly not knowing the answer himself. But if there was one thing that was for certain, it was the fact that Peter Pan must be killed at all costs. Camilla noticed the scheming face that Gold had, she could always recognise it, and if one things for certain its that she'd make sure she stood in the way of whatever he'd have planned which was to do with Pan and his future.
