We got to the our lockers in flash with Kanato's teleporting ability. Although, by the time we got there, I was nearly ice.

"K-Kanato, hu-hurry up. I think I-I'm d-dying." My teeth chattered.

"Yeah, yeah. Here." He handed to me his extra clothes. "Go and change already, or you might seriously die."

"Y-You sure you're g-going to be ok-kay though?" I asked him. He gave me a look so I went off and changed. I wasn't warm yet, but at least I'm out of wet clothes.

When I went back to Kanato, He had his flame out. I was tempted to just put my hand on it but I knew it would burn me. At that point though, I hardly even cared.

"Fire!" I exclaimed, nearly placing my hand on his. But then his closed his palm in snap.

"Are you stupid? Do you know that that could've burned you?" He scolded me causing me to frown.

"You can't blame me." I grumbled. "I'm like feeling so cold right now."

"Mm." He handed me a face towel. "Use it."

He was being really generous today, I must admit. "Thanks Kanato, what's up with you lately? You've been nice."

He sent me a dirty look. "Can't you just appreciate that I'm already nice to you?" He sighed. "Didn't I tell you that I'm being nice to you for helping me out?"

"Ahhh, right." I thought that only lasted for a day. "Where should we go now?"

We walked a few steps before he replied. "I say we should get back at him."

"Him who?"

"The guy who soaked us." He grinned. "We can soak him with these."

He showed me the colored water bottles, but I had reasons to oppose that idea. "It'll only lead us to joining the fight."

"So? You'll get wet if you join or stay here either way. What if it takes Charlie a long time before he gets here?" He pointed out. "I'd rather be wet joining the fight than getting drenched staying here. At least water will keep coming your way and as it does, the cold becomes numb."

"Easy for you to say, you're a vampire." I huffed. "How will you get him though? Chiro's one of the fastest in our batch. I'm telling you, let's just stay here."

He chuckled. "So what if he's fast? I'm faster." He told me. "But if you still don't want to go, well whatever to you. I'm not staying here."

I sighed. I'm taking back about what I said with Kanato being nice. "Are you serious?"

"Yeah, I am." He said firmly. "It's in the field right?"

"Fiiine then, leave me alone." I narrowed my eyes at him. "You'll get soaked, drenched, and die of cold if you go on with that plan of yours."

He shrugged. "I can't die."

"Well...you will. Hmph." I crossed my arms.

He just smiled at me. "I'm going to take both okay? Just fend yourself with something else."

"What?!"

"Bye." He waved before walking off.

"Kanato! What the hell?! How on earth will I survive?" I called out, annoyed. He didn't reply. "Kanato!"

He still didn't respond. "Fuck it, alright then." I snarled before turning my back at him.

The longer I stand there though, the longer I think about the shit that could happen to me. As I thought more, each dreadful thought became more horrid.

"Ah, fuck shit." I grumbled angrily to myself before shouting. "Damn it Kanato! Fine, I'll fucking go with you!"

When I caught up with him, he handed me a water bottle with a smirk. "So you'll get soaked, drenched, and die of cold with me?"

"Shut the fuck up."
