The day was passed quickly and before we knew it, we were going home.

Kiyomi wasn't with us because somehow Kanato was able to really turn her offer down, but I knew it wasn't going to stop there.

"You know there will be more challenges to face if Kiyomi has taken a liking on you." I nudged him.

"Well sorry, but I will always turn your so called best friend down." He glared at me. "Oh and what a nice move cousin, you left me with those bitches knowing that I hated them."

"They're actually fun to be with!" I protested.

"If I was a girl, maybe then. But they're so damn noisy and annoying, how the hell did they become popular?"

"They're just cool, like me." I grinned.

"Cool, as in cold hearted."

I elbowed him. Just then, Charlie appeared out of nowhere. "I hate school ugh." He sighed, putting his arm around me. I was about to push him off when I saw a large cut down his lower arm.

"Oy, where did this come from?" I asked.

"Oh that, accident last night me and Kanato were poking around in shit then I got this. Pretty bloody yesterday right?" Charlie chuckled.

"Yeah, there was a lot of..blood." Kanato mumbled.

As Charlie continued to talk about how his classes suck like he always does, I noticed Kanato was pretty quiet. He doesn't seem to be bored as I was, no he looks like he was thinking about something.

"You looked stressed." I told him.

"Mm, like you care." He muttered.

"Are you thinking about something?"

"No, I'm just bored." He shrugged. I can tell he was lying, and that he was trying to figure out something.

But I didn't push and just let it be, wouldn't want to appear like I'm really concerned about him.

After walking home (yeah we really did), I quickly dashed up the stairs and threw my bag on the floor. I then lied down on my bed and closed my eyes, sighing.

"Side effects of amnesia, thirst and weirdness, pfft." I said to no one in general. "What, he got thirsty after he saw Charlie's blood? Maybe what he meant was fear, not thirst because why on earth would you be thirsty for blood-"

Suddenly something came in my mind making me sit up from my bed so fast, it made me a bit dizzy. "What if he was..." I muttered. "Wait what am I saying, those kinds of things are simply shit, they don't exist."

That's how I went back to the position I was doing earlier and tried to take my mind off Kanato and his weird behavior.
