Tick Tock, Feeling of Shock
Mind racing, body itching to act, Natsu was stuck. Still clipped to the darn solid wall, his energy had returned and he was ready to kick into action.
Unfortunately, he was alone and had no hope in breaking his bonds by himself. Savina had disappeared, gone for what seemed hours. Maybe even an entire day. Of corse, Natsu couldn't be sure on time because he had been knocked out for who-knows-how-long after the accursed Looking Glass. Another reason being that there were no windows and zero signs of the sun. He could only rely on his mental state, attempting to stay aware of time passage.
Minutes felt like hours and he was incredibly bored! The boy was not used to sitting and waiting, he preferred conduct and action. The everlasting limbo dragged on as silence rung loudly in his highly sensitive ears.
Through the resonating hum, he heard something familiar. Far in the distance a voice chimed. The voice sounded distressed, yet also demanding. This odd emotional combination surprised Natsu, he listened closer.
This was no ordinary voice, it was Lucy! She was coming closer, enough that he could pick up traces of her sent. Drawing to a sufficient proximity he could decipher her words.
"Let go of me, you hideous bucket of worms!" Lucy's protests ran rapid. One insult after the other, not giving into her captors for a second.
That was his Lucy, he was so proud.
The door to his small room opened with a bang, entering four figures. One of which was Lucy, standing in nothing but her pajamas. Bare foot, hair down, tank top and shorts. The other three Natsu did not recognize, they looked like solid shadows. Visions of people, translucent and ghostly.
Lucy wore a blindfold over her eyes with her hands tied, the three apparitions escorted Lucy inside. She fought back violently, continuing her name calling. "Take your slimy fingers off me, you donkey-lookin banshee!"
It seemed even with three of them, the ghosts were struggling to keep a hold of her.
"Lucy!" Natsu called out to her.
"Natsu?" Lucy hesitated, giving the spirits full opportunity to hook her up next to Natsu.
Still in darkness, Lucy heard a voice. It sounded like Natsu, he sounded alright. He sounded alive. She lilted her head upwards, towards the sound. Hoping to hear it again.
"Lucy, its me." It was definitely Natsu!
Lucy felt her feet leave the ground, now suspended by her hands. Her senses went into hyperdrive, trying to predict anything she couldn't see. The right side of her body felt warmer than the other, it was either the sun or Natsu was next to her. Not seeing any light peeking from behind the blind fold she assumed it was the latter.
"Where are w-" Lucy was interrupted by a slam to her stomach. She coughed, surprised by the sudden collision. The pain was great, but nothing she hadn't felt before.
"What the heck was that for?!" Natsu barked angrily at the black figure who had attacked Lucy.
He pulled on his restraints, angered greatly by the abrupt and unreasonable assault. Turning his head to Lucy he inspected her condition, the last time he had seen her....He thought she may have died. Frozen and charred, almost as if she had burned and turned to coal.
He took in her colorful demeanor, vibrant and alive. He was so happy he could cry, but reality set back in as his eyes landed on her blind fold and cuffed hands. They were both present for a reason and neither of them were willing participants.
"It seems my theory was correct." Lucy heard a haughty laugh. "Your reaction was priceless."
Reaction? What was happening? Lucy wished she could see! Heeled footsteps tapped against the floor, stopping directly in front of her. Holding her breath, she could hear Natsu growl.
Natsu signaled a deathly warning with his eyes to the Witch as she approached Lucy. Savina brought her arm upwards and lightly traced Lucy's arm with a finger. Lucy retracted and shivered, still attempting to appear strong.
"Leave her alone." Natsu hissed.
Ignoring him, Savina continued the soft trailing of her fingers down Lucy's side. However it seemed the subtle sensation was too much for Lucy as she cried out.
"S-Stop it!" Savina retracted her hand in suprise, confused by her sharp outburst. "Dont touch me! Stop...stop...stop..." Both Natsu and Savina stood in stunned bewilderment.
Natsu had never seen Lucy break down, especially over something so small. What could possibly make her feel so terrified?
She was lucky the blind fold hid her tears as Lucy repeated "stop" with every breath. This whole situation reminded her too much of Cloven. The way he had touched and violated her. Lucy knew she must have looked pathetic, begging for mercy when nothing had actually happened. This was not the time to appear weak.
"Well, well, well. That was even better than I expected." Savina cackled with pleasure as she observed Natsu's oblivious expression. "It seems there is more going on here."
"What do you mean by that?!" Natsu demanded.
"She is keeping something from you." Savina smiled.
Natsu retracted his grimace, this lady knew something. Something that Natsu has desperately wanted to know. Nevertheless, he refused to allow Savina the satisfaction of him asking.
"Lets try a different tactic." Her dark cloaked dropped, Natsu finally able to see Savina's figure. She was extremely thin, and wore a simple black dress that slowly faded to a deep shade of red at the bottom. He thought about how the dress at one time may have been completely black, but stained red with blood.
Pale arms rose into the air, slashed marks covering her white skin. But the most prominent hidden feature was her necklace. A large ruby crystal connected to a dark chain, the stone had been stabbed into her chest just bellow her collar bone. The gem sent scarlet webs, pulsing as lightning with every heart beat. Pumping corrupted magic into her veins.
Savina's hand returned to it fixed spot on her lips as Natsu recognized the words she uttered. Yet he could do nothing to stop Savina as she looped her pointer and middle finger in the air, solidifying the Looking Glass symbol to Lucy.
"No, stop it!" Natsu protested, knowing that she would see Lucy's past. Obtaining the knowledge of how Lucy had closed the Eclipse Gate. Savina would discover that Lucy was the key to open the Equinox gate.
