You were spending the day with Bulma, and both Goku and Vegeta had gone to Beerus's world for some extra training, you stayed back as you wanted to train by yourself. Mostly because you wanted to work on meditating and Vegeta and Goku always argued with each other. It was mostly Vegeta disagreeing with everything Goku was saying and it was quite distracting.

It was one of your dedicated off days and Bulma called the previous night and is working on a new vehicle for capsule corp, she needed an assistant for the day and you offered as you were just gonna be staying home with Goten.

When you arrived at Bulma's, Goten ran off with Trunks almost immediately, Trunks had mentioned something about a new toy, and before you could say anything they had already taken off You found their friendships quite adorable as they would do almost everything and anything together, they were quite the troublemakers.

You stared at where they ran for a second before turning to go and find Bulma, you passed a couple of rooms before you got to the tech lab. Opening the door you saw the room was covered in scatters objects, you took a few steps around the objects and spotted her underneath some vehicle that was in the middle of the room.

"Hey Bulma!" you greeted walking up to the vehicle

This surprised her causing her to jerk her head up and bump it into the vehicle

'Ahh shit"

"Oh my" you rushed over to help her "I'm so sorry Bulma I should have called telling you I was on my way"

"No no it's fine it's nothing, this is nothing thanks to living with you saiyans" she laughed making you feel better.

The two of you chatted for a bit before getting started on the work she need help with, you two worked on the project for a couple of hours and she was trying to get the last bolt to come off when she struck up a conversation.

"So y/n have you and Goku talked about of getting married or having kids?" Bulma asked as you handed her the wrench 

"No, we haven't, I mean I'm not entirely sure how to go about that" you replied not making eye contact

"Like talk about it?" Bulma asked finishing the job and standing up

"Both, neither of my dads would tell me anything about babies so I just stopped asking after the 200th no and marriage was just never brought up"

Bulma fell over

"So you have no idea how babies are made or what marriage is?" she asked

"No, it can't be that hard can it?" you asked raising an eyebrow

Bulma laughed awkwardly before going on to explain marriage and then how babies were made. A pit formed in your stomach as she explained exactly what you and Goku had been doing with each other in the alone time you two got since you moved in with him.

When Bulma finished explaining she looked over to see the conflicted expression on your face as she waited for a response.

"what's the matter y/n?" She asked and put a hand on your shoulder when she didn't get an answer

"I um well" you started thinking of a way to explain "we have been doing that quite a lot" You let out a short laugh and scratched the back of your neck as you looked at the ground

"Really? That's exciting well I mean if I don't think about it" she paused making a disgruntled face "we can do a test if you want?" She asked forgetting what she just imagined and gave you a smile " And even if you are this is exciting!" her smile widened as she bounced up and down in excitement

You gave her a small smile and a nod, you stood up and she instantly grabbed your hand dragging you to the medical part of the building. When you got there she pointed to one of the many beds in the room and you took a seat, watching her scatter around the rooms grabbing different types of equipment.

"Do you really need all that stuff?" you asked when she set all the things on the table beside you

"I'm just taking some blood don't worry" She gave you a smile

Bulma took a vile and put it in the testing machine, she gave you a cute little bandaid and told you she would come let you know in a bit as she had to run the tests.

You decided to go on a walk, Bulma told you that you guys wouldn't be doing any more work today, she also said that you'd either go shopping or go drinking. If you were pregnant she wanted to show you all the cute shops she found when she was pregnant with Trunks, and if you weren't Bulma said she'd take you out for another night of drinks and dancing.

You were surprisingly nervous to find out the answer, part of you wanted to be and it terrified you, and all you could think about was if you would be a good mother. You were good with kids older than the age of five, but you had no experience with anyone younger, you had babysat Pan a couple of times after the family dinner but you still felt like you wouldn't be ready.

Another thought crossed your mind, what if Goku didn't want another kid, he already has two and one of his kids has a kid. He wouldn't be upset would he? would he leave?

You pushed that thought away as it was a worry for when you found out. You wanted to relax and distract yourself because you never liked stress so you decided to leave the property and walk the streets.

You explored a bit of the city before coming back to the house, you stopped at a few shops, getting random things that piqued your interest, you'd been helping Bulma in most of your free time that you weren't training or with the boys, so she had started a bank account for you.

This was the first time you had used it, as most of the necessities you got from the land or borrowed from Bulma. You got yourself a couple of nice outfits and stopped for lunch on your way back.

You were back at the house and rounded the corner to get to the backyard when you bumped into someone or someones, You looked down and were met with Trunks and Goten who looked like they had just been caught.

"What did you do?" you said looking at Goten as he wouldn't lie to you at least not yet

"Ugh" Trunks covered his face

"hehe Hey Mom, could you help us with something" Goten gave you an innocent smile and you couldn't be mad, he was just too cute

You decided on helping Trunks and Goten who needed help cleaning up the mess they had made from trying to make a tree house, they had seen it on the tv and thought it would be fun, but they didn't seem to think it required skill so the boys were able to make a ladder going up the tree but that was about it.

Helping them helped get your mind off everything, it was the perfect distraction and what followed made you completely push it to the back of your mind for later.

You turned the corner carrying a bunch of wood they grabbed, heading for where they got it when a ship warped into your sight startling you and making you drop everything.

"Bulma!" you screamed not taking your eyes off the machine, Trunks, and Goten came running when they heard you yell and stopped dead in their tracks when they saw the ship

"Mom!" Trunks yelled 

A few moments passed and Bulma came running out of capsule in a panic, she stop in place when she saw the Time Machine before her, she dropped what she was holding and sprinted to the machine

"Someone fly up there and tell me if there's anyone in there" At first no one moved "NOW!" she yelled again

You flew up and looked into the glass dome at the top and saw what looked like an unconscious older version of trunks.

"Theres someone in here"

"Do they have blue hair?" she questioned

"Yes?" you answered

"Get him out"

You looked for an open switch but when you couldn't find one you smashed the glass with your fist and cleared an area for you to enter, it was a cramped space but you were able to get in and get the boy out.

You landed on the ground and followed Bulma to the gazebo she had in the back yard, you set him down on a long chair and stepped back so Bulma could inspect him.

She looked back at you with a sad/scared look on her face

"Get my communicator for Whis, we need to get Vegeta and Goku here quick"
