Hit stood waiting for Goku to make his way into the ring, out of all the Universe 7 contenders Goku was the only one who held any interest in Hit's mind. He was confident he could beat him, but the sheer power emitting from Goku when he transformed earlier left Hit curious. 

Goku made a pit stop at the spectator's side to talk to Jaco before he went into the ring, he found out from the galactic patrol king that hit is a being that could use a time-skipping ability that allowed him to jump forward tenths of a second to get a jump on someone. 

You sent Goku one last Good Luck before he went down to the ring to meet Hit. You were too focused on watching Vegeta get off the ring and Goku get on that you didn't hear the conversation Beerus and Whis were having about how Whis should go down and tell Goku all he knew about time abilities but Whis ended up just bugging Beerus about how he chose to motivate Goku by bringing in an amateur that was a delivery driver. Piccolo however was in a state of shock, hearing everything they were saying he was stunned, how could a god do something so foolish? 

Goku entered the ring making his way over to Hit, Champa blasted the cymbal and the match was on.  

"Best of luck Hit" Goku said taking a stance in base form 

This confused Hit "You're not going to start transformed?"

"No that actually uses a lot of power and since I don't have a strategy don't be mad if all I do is stall for time" 

"The fact that you just told me your strategy means that you are very young"

Goku let out a laugh at his statement "Haha thanks but I'm actually a grandpa" 

"Thats young to a man that's 1000 years old" Hit responded with no emotion 

Goku startled and sweated a little before regaining his composure and reintroduced himself like a kid to a senior, Hit watched on a little confused but that was short-lived as Goku said it was time to fight and got into a fighting stance.

The battle started out about the same as Vegeta and Hit's fight just without any transformations. Goku couldn't get a hit off for a while, every attack he tried failed to land as Hit attacked just before they could. Goku stopped taking a moment to regain himself. They made some small talk before continuing, the reason why Goku was throwing himself at Hit so carelessly was because he was trying to figure out the timing of Hit's attacks, knowing an idea of how Hit had done it, Goku charged again this time perfectly blocking the attack. This left Hit shocked and with Goku now figuring it out went in for another attack this time landing it scratching Hit's face. 

"AHH" Beerus and Champa both shouted in shock. 

"Thatta boy Goku !" You shouted cheering your man on 

Goku now pumped that he got a hit off, told Hit that he figured him out, Hit responded by saying it was a lucky shot, Goku challenged him as he charged again, Hit went to use his time skip only to have another attack blocked and be countered landing another blow on him. 

Cheers broke out on the spectator's side cheering Goku on, and on Champa's side, he hung to the edge of the platform in a panic. His best fighter, the untouchable was now touchable.

A/N (I know it sounds weird but idk how else to word it)

A new phase of the fight begins, Hit wipes the blood off his face and Goku now going all out, transformed into his super saiyan blue form. 

"Know that I know what you're doing, I can outwit you by being harder to predict," Hit said smugly as he awaited Goku's first move 

"You can try, but these are split-second reactions going against your instincts is harder than you think" Goku knacked his knuckles then looked up at Hit "And my speed is gonna make it even more of a challenge" 

 Goku charged at Hit attacking and putting him on defense, the new speed from his transformation made it harder for Hit to use his time skip, but he managed to get off a few hits of his own before Goku stopped to smugly ask if Hit had run out of options. 

It surprised you sometimes how the kind light-hearted goofy saiyan could become so arrogant and cocky sometimes, but it was probably the saiyan genes, none the less you quite enjoyed seeing that side of him. 

Hit told Goku that he wouldn't last much longer without his technique but he failed to tell him that he might be able to push the time skip faster than tenths of a second. He wanted to make sure it would work as he had never had the need to try it, before being confident in it.

Hit went for an attack going into his time skip, just as he was about to land a hit Goku countered and sent him flying with a punch to the gut. Hit smirked and let out a chuckle as he lay on the floor of the ring, he got up and stood across from Goku with his eyes closed. Goku stood curiously at Hit as his hands were seemingly vibrating. Hit let out a loud roar as he raised his energy as high and waves started emitting from him. 

You were a little confused as the energy you felt after his light show was no different than before, there were no physical differences that you could see. 

"I guess you the sort of guy who yells when he powers up," said Goku as he watched Hit take his fighting stance.

They continued fighting going blow for blow, Goku started to notice that he wasn't fighting any different and so did the others. They threw one last blow at each other stopping dead in their tracks. 

A second passed by before Goku dropped to the ground grabbing himself in pain. 

Cheers from Champa could be heard and come-on Gokus could be heard from Beerus and the others. You stayed quiet because even though it looked like Goku was in a tough spot before you guys came here Goku had told you that he had been working on something for his next fight with Beerus. So you know he had something in his back pocket you just hoped he remembered to pull it out. 

The announcer asked Goku if he could keep going and it took a moment before the announcer went to call the match for Goku to yell "Wait!"  as he struggled to make his way to his feet. 

Whis and Vados both explained to their sides that Hit's  "Transformation" was just for show

"I can't increase my abilities through some kind of noisy transformation the way Frost and you Saiyans do, if I want to become better I don't get the luxury of cutting corners I have to do it the old-fashioned way"

Everyone watched confused as Hit talked explaining that he was able to push his time skip even faster now. Champa erupted in laughter as he bosted thinking he won, yelled down to Hit to finish him off while he was still down. 

Hit contemplated the idea before telling Goku to get to his feet, he told him that because he pushed him to new lengths that's the payment he would get. He himself wanted to see how far he could now push himself.   

Goku put some room in between the two as he got ready for the fight to continue, he knew now that Hit would keep pushing the time skip so he got ready contemplating how many more hits he could take. 

Hit rushed him knowing he wouldn't expect how fast he was able to skip now, last a combo of attacks before Goku could even react. Hit was back in his original spot when the attack was finished and Goku fell to the ground in pain again. 

"GET UP GOKU! YOU'RE NOT DONE IT YOU HEAR ME!" You screamed down to Goku who was struggling in pain. 

Hearing your voice made Goku feel as if he had more to give and he forced himself back up to his feet, seeing the saiyan stand from his attacks startled Hit as he knew the saiyan was almost at his limit. 

Now on his feet, Goku explained that he had one last thing to try and that he was gonna try it next him he was gonna challenge Beerus.

 Beerus looked over at Whis with wide eyes

"Did you know about this?" he asked teeth chattering 

"No my Lord I have heard nothing of it"

You let out a laugh seeing your father's reactions, causing both to give you a look asking you to explain yourself. 

"I know what it is" you teased turning your back and focusing on the fight and ignoring the questions behind you, even Vegeta and Piccolo were asking what he had up his sleeve. 

Goku took a wide stance pushing his energy to new limits, a red aura surrounded his blue one as he powered up his Kaioken. 

"He's not trying what I think he is, is he y/n?" Vegeta turned to you 

"Just watch," you said not taking your eyes away

Goku finished powering up into kaioken, getting a stable handle on it, he had to be 100 percent in the way he used it or he risked his energy running out of control and even death. 

Goku with his new intensified strength and speed, had to show off a little to prove the meaningfulness of the transformation as it was hard to understand. 

Goku pushed his Kaioken to times ten before charging at Hit, unable to block Hit took a blow to the face, he went to the time skip but that was instantly blocked by Goku 

"That won't work, I don't care how far you push your time skip it won't match up to what I am now" Goku roared launching another blow into Hit 

Goku attacked Hit over and over again sending him flying around the arena, Goku was running out of stamina and it was clear to him that he was running out of time. 

He started powering up a Kamehameha as he had to put all his power into one finishing move, he unleashed his most powerful one yet.

The blast hurdled towards hit at tremendous speeds, Hit no stranger to battle time skips ahead of the blast and charged at Goku. 

The blast however was so powerful that it broke through the barrier surrounding the arena causing a vacuum-like effect making everyone grab onto something for dear life.

dust was flying everywhere and Whis and Vados had to use their abilities to keep everyone from floating away. The dust settled and they couldn't seem to find either Goku or Hit anywhere. 

After a moment they emerged, one from each end of the arena on the portraits of each g.o.d. They made their way into the middle before touching fists to signal the continuation of the fight, Hit attacked pushing his time skip faster than he could before landing a series of blows on Goku knocking him out of his kaioken state and had him falling to the ground. 

Hit smirked thinking he had finally beaten the Saiyan only to have his mouth open in shock when mid-fall the Saiyan transformed back into his kaioken state and charge back at him. Goku landed a blow sending him flying into the portrait of Champa and falling to the ground. 

Goku dropped as well from the energy he used in the attack, and they both struggled back onto their feet. Goku with a new idea turned to Beerus and asked him to lift all the rules of the fight as he knew Hit was still holding back on his full potential because he was restricted due to the rules.

"Goku are you crazy!" you yelled down 

"No, but I want to be able to fight Hit at his best!" Goku defending knowing it didn't sound all that good 

Champa excited knowing how lethal Hit could be started praising Goku saying that was real sportsmanship, he went on to say the rules were revoked but Beerus was not a fan of the idea. They started arguing with each other blocking out anything anyone tried to say to the two destroyers. 

Their anger kept building as the argument continued, Goku made his way to Hit and looked up at the two destroyers fighting.

"Looks like this isn't gonna be over anytime soon,"

"it seems the two of us just might be pawns in their game after all" Hit remarked looking down

"for now anyway" Goku responded still watching the two 

"what do you mean for now" 

"just for now, you know" Goku turned his head and gave Hit a smile which Hit returned. 

They both looked up to see no progress had been made with the argument and Goku turned to Hit "Let's do this again sometime when there's no rules to get in our way and we can give it all we got" he turned mid-sentence and started walking towards the edge of the ring

Goku then jumped out landing outside the arena, pulling the destroyer's attention and the announcer.

You watched as Goku jumped out of the arena and all you could do is shake your head at him for being no one else but himself. but everyone else immediately started yelling at him

"HOW COULD YOU DO THAT!"

"KAKROT YOU CLOWN"

"GOKU!" 

Goku made his way back to the bench, the only good thing he got coming back up there was a kiss from you as everyone else just yelled at him for jumping out of the ring.

The time for the last fighter to make his way to the ring came and Beerus covered his eyes not wanting to watch as Monaka made his way into the ring.

Hit watched as Monaka shakily made his way over to him, he could instantly tell that this fighter wasn't a fighter. The announcer called the match into play and they both stood there staring at each other. Monaka was drenched in sweat scared he had no idea what he was even supposed to do. 

"You can do it Monaka" Goku yelled down still unknown to him that Monaka was a joke compared to even most of the spectators.

Monaka threw a tiny punch into Hit, and for a few seconds Hit just stood there contemplating his options before jumping backward and flying out of the arena dramatically. Beerus watched stunned as he truly believed they were done for, Whis let out a chuckle as he could tell what the assassin had done and why. 

With everything coming to an end the earth was now safe in universe 7, You made your way across to say goodbye to your aunt and uncle before you wouldn't see them for who knows how long.

"No hard feelings?" you asked as you neared a grumpy Champa

"Ahh shut up will you, you may be my niece but I still outrank you" He replied yelling 

You ignored his comments and gave him a hug, making him let out a sigh and pat your head a few times, you let go and gave Vados a hug telling her to keep Champa in check causing him to whine. You smiled as you left them and you made your way to Vegeta who had just finished a conversation with the universe 6 Saiyan Cabba.

"What were you talking about?" You asked now standing next to him 

"He was talking about the king of his world Sadala and I told him that he should introduce us"  Vegeta replied with a bit of a smile 

"You meeting another royal, that's too many hotheads in one room" you laughed 

"Well good thing I told him you'd be coming too "Vegeta laughed as he made his way back to his family

You let out a chuckle at your brother's ways as you scanned the crowd now making its way to the hexahedron looking for a certain round-haired saiyan, as your eyes neared the back of the crowd you spotted Goku, Goten, Gohan, and Videl with Pan looking over at you, all smiling and waving you over when they noticed you spotted them.

You looked at them for a second as you felt as if you had found your real home, you smiled as you made your way over to them.

They say home is where the heart is, and you managed to have all of them wrapped around your heart.

 Home was wherever they were.
